Completed the work requested in a timely manner, did not propose doing work that was not required, fixed the issue completely and they have very reasonable rates. They came the day after my phone call and came prepared to fix the issue. i highly recommend!

Excellent service at a reasonable price.  We called McKean to fix a dripping faucet and replace the fixtures in our shower.  I also mentioned we recently had an issue with a drop in water pressure.  Pete not only found the cause of the drip, but also worked diligently until he figured out what was causing the loss in water pressure and corrected the problem.  Shower pressure is great, new fixtures were just what we wanted, and we couldn't be happier with McKean and the quality of the work.

Highly recommended!! Fixed our issue very fast and were all very nice!  They were backed up and the owner himself came out after close to look at our heater and got the part needed ASAP!  Great service!!!

You will not go wrong with using this company. They are very knowledgeable, friendly, and the vest prices in the are that I can find.

This is the first time calling Mark A. Redinger for plumbing work.  
I came up with my rating (2.8) ...
Response time / time to complete was 4.0 - responded in a timely manner to phone call and to get to the site to perform the work.
initially showing up on site was within a day and evaluation of work took less than an hour.
Completed work on the second site visit within 3 days and completed work within 3 hours.
Work completed was to remove L-shaped (copper) pipe of 9 ft. underneath 2nd floor tub and upstairs toilet in 2nd floor (same) bathroom and replace connections with new PVC.
Cost to repair rated 1.0 since price was $925.  Again, this included material (PVC) less than 4 hours of work including 2 site visits within 7 miles of Aliquippa PA (headquarters).
Quality of work 3.5 -  leak has been fixed with no signs of issues now for one week after work completed.  As not expected but work did not include fixing cut out of plaster in below kitchen ceiling to get access to fix plumbing work.  I would have given a better rating if they would have provided a referral to complete plaster/drywall work.
Overall, Mark A. Redinger would not be my first or second choice to complete future work since the price was 1.75X what I expected the final bill.

This is the 3rd time that I have used Plumber Plus.  Al is the owner and has always been very responsive.  He does great work and his prices are very fair.  Before I started using Plumbers Plus, I was using a corporate chain plumbing outfit.  I had a plumbing emergency a few years ago on a weekend and it would have take 4 hours to get a plumber from the chain ... so I looked in the Yellow pages ... and found Al and have used him ever since.  I am so happy that I made the switch!

I normally don't write reviews, but these guys went above and beyond. Came same day, on time, super nice, and not a typical commission / sales plumber that claims you need thousands in work when you just want them to come flush your main line. I tried to fix my main by myself, only making it worse. Black sludge backed up into my basement everywhere. I couldn't use any water in my home and was in a complete panic. Came same day, ran a camera and fixed this huge catastrophe in under an hour. Glad I found an honest, company with workers who knew exactly what to do to get my house up and running again. Very grateful. Awesome work!!!! Thank you

I was overjoyed to have Brian finally complete the half-finished baseboards in my house that I'd been staring at for several years. They now look beautiful. He was really quick to get back to me after I initially contacted him, and he was willing to come out and look at my project before giving me a quote, unlike some handyman companies I called that just threw out really high numbers without even looking at my house. Brian is communicative, polite, amiable, experienced, knowledgeable, and thorough. I appreciate his honesty too--his prices are fair, and he is clear about what kind of work he can do. In addition, I found that he is the kind of person who will always do a job right just for the sake of it. For instance, my baseboards were very hard to match, but he took the time to come back to my house a couple times and go to several different stores to get the exact right materials, whereas someone else might have just found something close and called it a day. I would definitely recommend Brian as a handyman, and I will be calling him again in the future!

I used  McVay when they started out and just used them again now.  They are solid, they do a great job, they are professional, and their office staff is super nice and together.  Great company!

If there was a lower rating, I'd give that.  Initially we got our sewer line unclogged by another company and an estimate for hydo jetting the line.  At that point I got our line protection coverage involved and they stuck us with these people who charged more than $300 more against our coverage than the initial estimate.  To boot, they got their hydro jet hose stuck in our sewer line (at one point I heard the guy yelling to his helper on the back porch with the noisy machine stop, stop STOP) where it remained for over a month while we negotiated with the line protection company for an alternative plumbing company to do the work. When the other company did the work they ended up digging 7 feet below the main (16+ft) to release the hose which had broken through the pipe and gotten buried.  Never again!  Very pleased with the other company.

It's December 26, 2017, the day after Christmas, and the temperature is 20F.  Our heating went out a few hours ago.  Steve came over at 7pm without complaint and fixed the problem immediately, expertly, and with good humor.  Thank you, Steven, you saved us from frostbite and misery.

It was $200 to unclog a drain.  It took 20 minutes. Service was capable.  But the up-front pricing was false. They did the service and then demanded a ransom.

I will never use this company again. I had a rusted pipe near the fill valve causing the toilet to leak. I have a home warranty which they did come onsite but stated because I lifted it out of the toilet they could not fix it unless I wanted to pay 125.00.

I instructed the technicians that I wanted to talk with their company about this. The technician threw the slip of paper at me and stated I can not hold him hostage here which I found ridiculous as I simply wanted to talk with the company.

He stormed out of my house and when I asked for his name he did tell me but when asking his partners name, he stated Britney Spears and then peeled out of my driveway as I am on the phone with their company.

The most unprofessional company I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with.

What a waste of time and money

I needed a new 40 gallon water heater put in, gas. Affordable plumbing gave me the most expensive bed they only used one brand Bradford and their bill was going to be $1600 dollars to replace one water heater. Then after that I went to Dan's plumbing and they gave me a good bid $1050 and when he got here he just started jacking me, and the price. The lady on the phone said it will be $1050 plus tax on the water heater when he got there he already added $25 for the travel and then the Guy from Dan's plumbing told me they were going to put braided tubing on the end instead of  soldering and then two minutes later he change his mind and was going to be another $75 for braided lines. He had a water heater in his truck and was ready to do the job and I said hit the road. I don't like that up charging. So the last person I called Fort Steuben plumbing told me they could do it for $1079. I told the guy when he got here from Fort Steuben plumbing if you decide to start jacking me off and raising the prices then he was just wasting my time. Anyways it took two guys to get that old water heater out of there and I'm sure put the new one in and it needed shut off valves, the old gate valves were bad. But he came in under bed at 1073.83 He was underbid and he will have my business forever. Fort Steuben plumbing the rest of my just give you Waste of time.

TERRIBLE - ALL THE WAY AROUND. I would select a negative rating if that was a choice.
The drain in my backyard was flooding. I have 2 large dogs that bark when the wind blows. The technician said he knocked (lie #1) and that he sat outside on my steps for over an hour (who has time to do that???)
He snaked the drain and it got stuck. He tried with everything he had in him to pull it out. It took another good 30 minutes to free the snake.
That evening I proceeded to my basement, and much to my dismay....the sludge from the drain in the yard was suddenly in my basement with a hole in the wall.
I called back and was told that 2 technicians would be out before the end of the night to run a camera down the drain. The original tech came back and told me to wait until it dries to clean it up - WHAT?!?!? Needless to say..the other 2 never showed up either. The tech said he was off duty but was curious to see what happened.
Next day (now 3 days after initial incident) was Sunday, we were told that a SUPERVISOR was coming out by the end of the evening. Guess who came? NOBODY!
Monday - we were told that someone would call us (after 1pm) to tell us what time he would be there. They were at the door at 7:30am and my son had to leave for work, so tech could not stay - told us to call when someone would be home and he would be back. I called at 5:15pm and was told that someone was in route to my place. That is a complete contradiction to what I was told earlier, however I was close enough to home that I could get there quickly.
Waited till midnight. Not only did they not show, they didn't call either.
DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY! I WILL LEAVE A NEGATIVE REVIEW ON THEM ANYTIME I CAN - it is UNACCEPTABLE and UNPROFESSIONAL
