I was not at the home during the service -- but this makes my review even more important to me. I learned about it all from my Aunt who was super impressed with Todd from First Call Plumbing. The sewer backed up to the point where we could not use our appliances and were apprehensive to flush the toilet. My Aunt's regular plumber was on vacation so we had to find someone new. My Aunt was very skeptical about using someone new, but the smell was unbearable and she had no choice. Calling Todd same day, he was helpful, polite and ensured he fit us in, and on a Saturday, too. In addition to solving the problem, he assisted in clean up. He also did a review of other areas of the home. Pricing was generous -- they only charge OT on a Sunday! Thanks for a great experience, Todd!

We have used Scott Boyd plumbing ourselves and recommended them to my mother and our son for various jobs. Here's the first unique thing - they answer the phone!! Number 2 thing is this( wait for it) they actually show up when they say they will.. I know most of you will call bs on that, but it's 100% true!! We have been stood up by various plumbers ( yeah you know who you are) so many times I still can't believe these guys show up!! And if they have the parts , they fix what needs fixed. And what they charge is really reasonable. Nice people, decent prices, good work. And don't forget- they actually SHOW UP! So if you want a totally new experience- give these guys a call.

We needed a plumber quickly and a friend referred Frank. He actually answers the phone when you call. Not only that, he came by the next morning to assess the problem. Promised to be back before I had to leave for an afternoon appointment and was. Took care of the problem. Was reasonably priced. He really knows his job and how to take care of the customer. He's a 1 man show. I highly recommend him and will go back to him in the future.

I have used pawlak plumbing over the past ten years. I have found them to be professional in thier work and clean. When they finish a job there is little to no clean up. I always look out knowing when they are to arrive. Depending on the jon Ed the plumber comes which makes me very happy. I have over the years had his co-workers come also. they all were fantastic workers. I have had great service, the quality was also great and the value was right. I will continue to call Pawlak plumbing because I trust them

Michael was just out at my house to service my furnace. He could not have been nicer and more professional. I am not very savvy when it comes to furnaces but he answered a few questions I had. Could not recommend this company enough.
357 Flaugherty Run Rd, Ste 104, Coraopolis, PA 15108
The customer service was polite and efficient. The technicians came within 1 hour of calling. They were able to diagnose the source of the leak after I described the issue (1 month ago, other company came and played around for 4 hours but could not diagnose).
The only thing is that they want to charge $400 to change a faucet. I found that a little bit much for a faucet (excuse me here because I do not know the market price for changing a faucet service).
Overall, my experience with them is positive.

Andrew was on time, professional, courteous, and friendly when he came to unclog a drain. He obviously takes pride in his work. Price was very reasonable. Will be using him again to remove and replace an old cast iron stationary tub. Highly recommend!

BEWARE! THE ABSOLUTE WORST!!! DISHONEST, UNRELIABLE, RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL!!!
He no-showed after low bidding a sewer liner repair for me. His bid was approx $1,000-1,500 less than two other reputable plumbers. Unfortunately, the bank crediting me for the repair (in negotiating a home purchase), chose his bid-since it was by far the lowest.
He strung me along for months, promising to do the work, then eventually stopped returning my calls/texts. I had to scramble to find another plumber, and had to pay a reputable plumber hundreds of dollars (out of my own pocket!) to make up the difference from what the bank credited me and his low-ball offer. I almost received thousands of dollars in fines from the Township for not having the work completed on time.
At one point he showed up unannounced, 2 months later, when I wasn't even at home, pretending he was going to start the job-after I had already cancelled him and scheduled another plumber (I imagine in an attempt to protect himself from a lawsuit). He claimed he then broke his camera on rocks in my sewer while doing an inspection, so now he could not do the job! Rocks that weren't there weeks before, when the dye test was done, but mysteriously appeared when he showed up. He was rude to my neighbors when they asked who he was and what he was doing-then took off in a hurry leaving them to clean up the rocks everyone believes *he* planted there.
He claimed he didn't have a replacement camera (most plumbers have 12) and that it would take 2 weeks(!) for the camera to be repaired (past the deadline for the work to be completed without fines). When I offered to wait the two weeks (just calling his bluff, not actually planning to use him at this point) he THEN claimed he didn't have the money to get the camera fixed- after he'd already told me it was in the shop being repaired!
He actually acted like he was doing me a favor by not charging me for the camera he supposedly broke on the rocks in my sewer.
I found out that he is considered a joke who does this all the time: low bids to get the job, over books and then cancels or no-shows last minute. Do yourself a favor and use Matt Mertz, who I highly recommend.

We had some troubles with the plumbing in our bathroom so we called Always Your Best Choice. They had our bathroom fixed in no time! We set up an appointment and we're very nice in person and over the phone. Great customer service and everything is working the way it should!

I initially liked this company because they were very responsive. However, each additional request for service got more and more expensive.
They were supposed to show you the cost of the repair from a book and that quickly stopped. They would right down the cost on the invoice but would not show me the cost in their price book.
I had a valve replaced and that was reasonable for $300 bucks.
The next work I had done was some electrical work. This was $579.
I had a water heater replaced for $1550. Mind you Home Depot would have done it for $1000. When I brought this to the attention of the technician he indicated it had to do with the quality of the water heater and their technicians. Now mind you, they replaced the old water heater with the same brand water heater the old water heater was. This heater runs $500.
So I also need my boiler fixed, the boiler needs to be replaced. I am initially told that $700 will resolve my problem by Jerod Or Adam. In any case they get the boiler running for one day and want me to pay more money because another part could be the problem. They wanted me to change the boiler at a cost of 6k to 9k. The fix for the boiler was getting more expensive and did not resolve my problem of needing the home to be heated.
I called another company they knew exactly what the problem was and told me the most would be $150. A big difference ($550). These guys will rob you blind!!!
Go with someone else do not use Benjamin Franklin Plumbing! The will defraud you and rob you blind!!!
I have zero confidence in this company and would go with another company if I were you!!

Jimmy was absolutely great. We just bought our house and seems like we inherited a bunch of fun little problems. He gave us an assessment, told us what we needed and gave us a fair price. Couldn't be happier.
