API has done several plumbing jobs for us - plumbing a bathroom, installing a hot water tank and a few other minor jobs.  All done wonderfully and timely with very competitive pricing!  Would highly recommend.

I've had several HVAC/Plumbers work on my 12,000 sq ft 150 year old house.  Johanssen & Sons is by far the best.  They have found mistakes made by previous contractors and corrected their mistakes.  They show up prepared to fix any problems I'm having, efficiently and professionally.  I can't recommend them enough.

Butch Miller is a great plumber! He does great work and his prices can't be beat. We've used him for several projects and we couldn't be happier with him! If you need a plumber, don't hesitate to give him a call.

And ladies, he looks a bit like Kurt Russell. BONUS!

Honest plumber with reasonable prices in the North Hills. I would recommend Bob Mertz to anyone who is concerned about high prices or someone quoting unnecessary work. I think Bob is a skilled professional and he is great to work with.

I cannot recommend City Plumbing more highly. They are excellent. They are not cheap, but they are fair, honest, and do excellent work. We have called them on numerous occasions over the last couple of years for drain service, boiler service and problems, and general plumbing repairs and installations. Besides good service, they also have given us excellent advice on cost-saving measures, including advice that meant that we would spend less money with them! I certainly will not hesitate to call them again if the need should arise.

Tudi installed my central air conditioning system 13 years ago and I have always used them for annual service check ups and repairs. Their service is the best! The office secretary is most competent, efficient and polite. She does her best to accommodate my requests in scheduling for appointment times and service technicians. She even adjusts their schedule if I need someone to come ASAP.

The technician that has come the past three years is knowledgeable about my ac system, effectively diagnoses what needs to be done, tells me what it is going to cost, is neat and cleans up after his work is done, polite, and explains what he has done. He provides information on changes coming to the air conditioning industry in the future ie elimination of current coolant being used and what I need to anticipate doing because of this. It is a pleasure to do business with Tudi!

First of all let me give you some back round of myself. I am retired after working as an electrician/instrument tech for 35 years. Which at times involved running and repairing lots of pipe. I called Laskowski Plumbing because they said they could shut off the main water line in the meter box without scheduling with the water company which could take up to a week in a non emergency situation which this was, it was a drip, until he got there. He came in and looked at the problem and said boy this is really bad, at this point I'm wondering what he was looking at. He proceeded to work on the leak without turning the water off the next thing I knew water was flying everywhere, which I cleaned up. He broke off the fitting going into the ball valve, I'm not accusing but I think he broke it off on purpose (this guy is a master plumber with 15 years experience ?) Ok things happen no big deal. So now he tells me he has to leave and get parts,he arrive in a large van and these are very common parts nothing exotic here, in fact all the houses in this neighborhood were piped the same way by the same contractor when the water main was put in. In fact I told him I probably have a piece of something similar here but it would take me some time to find it. So the parts were bought and installed total of 1 1/2 hours including the time he left to get parts which the web site says they arrive with fully stocked vans. So I get the bill   $284.00 we called the owner the next day to find out how they justified this bill. The owner said his technician was there 2 1/2 hrs (he must have been hiding somewhere because I didn't see him) he also said the parts cost $39 I made a list of the parts he installed and could buy them at Lowe's or Home depot for around $8. Their price is $49 to come to the house, $80 per hr labor. According to my calculator that's $169. plus $8 for parts. Total $177. As of yet we have not received an itemized bill. Oh and he secured nipple to block of wood he used my shims that were there. I will never call these guys again, in my opinion they are dishonest try to make the situation worse than it is and don't have common parts stocked in their vehicles, which they can add time to the job by leaving and and supposedly get parts which you pay for.

We called a few times but this contractor never even had the decency, or a minimum level of professionalism to return our calls.  Sorry, but nothing is more UNPROFESSIONAL IMHO!  We get it, trust us, your too busy.  Fine, but here is a simple solution.  Onus up and hire an office manager if you are a legitimate operation (which clearly you are not) and have them return customer calls, or better yet simply answer your phone instead of non-stop VM!  Pathetic.  We DO NOT appreciate you leaving our family in a mess this winter season.  Guess you don't need the business though, or are too dense to understand reputation, reliability, and word of mouth are paramount to a business's success in the long run.  Sigh...some people don't get it and never will.  Oh, and to all the non-believer consumers reading this review out there we're sure this contractor will post the atypical contractor rebuttal, something to the effect that they never got our message.  Ya, sure...been around a while pall and heard that lame contractor excuse so many times it makes us want to puke.  Or perhaps another canned excuse such as, we highly value our customers and would never do something like this and we don't even know who these people are.  Blah, blah, blah.  Bottom line is we are good people, contacted you, no reply, and a TEN second return cal/VM stating we value your business, but are booked for the next XXXXX weeks would be appropriate, end of story.  But then again...that's how REAL businesses operate and you're NOT a legitimate operation.  SAD, just plain SAD.

fair price guy who went the extra mile when parts didn't line up right. gave flat fee prior to work and didn't try and upsell. would use again.

I called Beverly Services to replace an old rusted out piece of ductwork prior to getting our basement remodeled. We had contacted another local company who sent out an estimator, but completely showed no interest in taking on our project. Beverly was our second choice, and we had no problems scheduling appointments or getting our project taken care of.
Everyone we dealt with at Beverly Services from the estimator, office, duct work guys and plumbers were friendly, answering any questions. We've been at our home for a few years using other service providers but will more than likely call Beverly Services again for future service.

Excellent plumber, very professional and thorough.  We live in a 100 year old house and Simonic has completed plumbing projects that other plumbers refused to tackle.  Best plumber in the area.

I Yelped Plumbing supply in search and Pittsburgh Plumbing Supply came out closest too where I was.
I drove over and to my dismay i saw a sign on window that said
wholesale only .
I was very disapointed that I drove all the way over just to be turned away.
If you are not a contractor don't bother going here as they will not sell too you.

i had them do my mothers heating and cooling install  . wow big mistake it took them almost 2 weeks . the 2 guys they sent  I don't wanna even go there but it wasn't good . what company in there right mind can justify almost to weeks to install a furnace and it was nothing special . and he was not cheap . he told us it would take 2 days and they came for a day and didn't come back for 2 then they came back another day and the next day then skipped 3 days and finaly hooked up the furnace and told me they would be back in a few days to hook up the ac unit and it took them 2 days to install it .and they left one hell of a mess . so if your from this area hire someone else . this is not the first time we have used them  but I give everyone a second chance to redeem them self and wow did they drop the ball .  STAY FAR AWAY

Prior to getting work done - I received cost quote 99/hr - job would take about 2 hours - and 1 person needed - plus parts. Expecting 200 plus bill - received bill for 515 - OUCH! An un-needed helper came along at 45/hr - and although they worked for a bit over 2 hrs - I was billed for 3 hr labor now 145/hr (and it included 45 minutes travel and prep time). I spoke with Skip the owner who hollered at me over the phone! Gee, I only dealt with them for 35 plus years. They were sent a check covering 1 persons labor for 2.5 hrs labor plus parts. And I was told to never call them again! Not Recommended

Adam Mondine of Modine Plumbing & Construction is FRAUDULET!  He asked for a $150 retainer for Tiling my shower. He declined to do the work and promised to refund my money. Over the last 6 week I have asked Adam for the refund and he promised he would. He has lots of excuses of why he could not!
Not a Man of his Word.  Please stay away from him. 6 weeks of his excuses are enough!
