Lansen fixed my kitchen faucet on a Sunday afternoon and it was a hard job but well done!

I received Bill Heidinger's number (the owner) from a neighbor who had work done on his house.  He kept raving about how great the work was and how this guy didn't charge by the hour only by the job.  

When I called Bill he asked that I give him a synopsis of what I needed done.  He quickly assesed what might be wrong with my :

*leaky garbage disposal & sink
*water pressure in upstairs shower/ tub
*leaky toilet

He came in the next day with his son and fixed all three within 2 hours.  He replaced my cracked garbage disposal with a new one, gave me a new shower head, and fixed the leaky toilet.    Labor and parts came out to a little over $300+.   I found it reasonable but when you're dealing with a handyman you prefer honesty above all.  

Bill is an honorable guy who wont charge you for installing a brand new toilet when all you needed was a new flapper.  

This will probably be my go to plumber from now on.

I called on a Saturday afternoon with my ceiling dripping under bathroom above. He was off for the day. Travis asked questions and we decided he could come out Sunday morning. He arrived on time, as friendly and professional as I have seen. Quickly diagnosed problem and fixed it. Very reasonable price and came out on Sunday. I will call Simply Plumbing again.

We've used PlumbV many times over the last several years and have been very happy every time they've been here.  We've had both Matt (the owner) and members of his team out to the house for various repairs and have found everyone to be prompt, courteous and above all, conscientious about cost and solving the problem correctly, the first time.  We've had faucets and toilet parts replaced,  various miscellaneous plumbing issues resolved, a new laundry sink/vanity installed and an emergency main sewer line replacement (after a landscaper drove a stake through our sewer line causing every sink and toilet to back up with water).  When our master bath jetted tub had a stripped faucet handle that would no longer turn the water on or off, Matt immediately identified the problem and even though the faucet was 10 years old and we're not the original homeowners so we had no idea what model faucet it was, Matt called the manufacturer himself and worked with them to figure out the correct part that was needed and returned to replace it for a reasonable charge.  We'd used several plumbers from the triangle area before we tried PlumbV so we know what's out there and I can tell you it ain't always pretty!  PlumbV is the only plumber we'll call from now on.

Went with Matt from another's recommendation and SO glad we did!  He is amazing.  Responsive.  Patient. Knowledgeable. Helpful. Friendly. Everything you would want your plumber to be.  We had a defective piece from the new faucet and he helped me call delta to get it straightened out.  Can't say enough good things.

I called this company based on some positive reviews. My experience today was terrible. I had an old toilet at my business that was leaking and needed to be replaced. I called first thing Monday morning. I asked to be put in touch with the plumber before coming to my business to explain the situation and request that they bring a durable generic white toilet for a non-public bathroom. I was told that the plumber would call in route. I explained I might not be at the office when he came, but she assured me he would call. He didn't call. When I arrived at the office, I was informed he had already come and gone. I called and spoke to the same person and insisted to have the plumber call me or connect me which she did. Because he had not called or talked to me he was looking for a replacement tank for a worn out twenty plus toilet that probably cost less than $150.00 new. He then quoted $1018.26 to install a generic Gerber toilet. These can be purchased for less than $200.00. I told him that was unacceptable. I asked for my bill for the site visit which he said was over $300.00 because of all the time he took researching non-existent replacement parts. I called the company again and told them I would pay for the initial visit only. They never apologized for their mistake. They implied that I was never promised a call but never offered to talk to Hannah who I spoke with three times. Of course they record their conversations but were dead silent when I suggested they talk to Hannah or listen to the recorded calls. Stay away from these guys. Went with Rural Heating and Plumbing and came out ahead even after paying for the site visit. I am refusing to pay for the plumber to look for parts!

These guys are my go - to plumbers.  I have used them for rental properties I own, at work and for my own home.  Today I called them at 3:22 for a stopped up toilet, and the technician arrived at my home at 3:48, and had fixed the problem and was on his way back at the shop at 3:59.  Service call is $125, which is reasonable in light of quick service and quick resolution.

This company is absolutely horrible  We did a lot of research to find a unit that we needed to replace in our home.  It wasn't fun to begin with, since our unit was only 6 years old and already needed to go.  I spoke with a project manager, Eddie, who helped us decide what we needed.  I purchased the unit, and they came out and installed it a few days later.  It was two young kids, I remember one of their names was Austin.  They finished installing the entire heat pump within a few hours, which really concerned me.  Come to find out, they left trash all over our yard outside where the new unit was installed, all over the attic, and left small pieces of sharp copper piping all over our house.  I have a toddler and he almost stepped on a piece and handed it to me! How unsafe!!! But it gets so, so much worse.
A few days later, I go into my expectant daughter's room and find a huge puddle of water on the floor.  I look up, and the unit has leaked over our entire ceiling and the wall was starting to pucker on the ceiling.  Our floors are ruined, the entire ceiling under the unit was covered with water and damaged.  Our floors are also warped and were stained from the stagnant water.  I called very upset, and a technician took about 4 hours to get there.  I spoke to the manager, Tonka on the phone.  She was nice enough, and offered $250 no frustration guarantee (which we NEVER GOT, by the way.  That is also only 3% of what we paid for the unit and installation).  The tech came and made a temporary solution for final repair of the unit that week. We then get a call from an insurance adjuster for Thermo that said WE have to find a contractor and get quotes to get our ceiling and floor fixed??!! Where is Thermo?! Why are they not handling this like they said they would! Their unit RUINED my daughter's room who is due in a few weeks! They have not made a single repair or ANY effort! It has been OVER 2 WEEKS now and no one will even call me back! They are not 24/7, they do not hold their promises.  The only thing I can tell you is they will install a crappy unit and take zero responsibility for inevitably destroying your home.  Beware of this company when you make a large investment such as a new heat pump, or any other home comfort option.

I'm really impressed with Greene Hunt and would absolutely recommend them for any job.

We had a pretty big job and needed our entire house two story home repiped, a new water heater, and new toilets installed. We had a few people come out and decided to go with Greene Hunt because of the care Archie took when he first came out and how easy it was to communicate with him.

We had a pretty big crew out for two days doing the repiping and stuff and they were all great. Like I said, it was a big job, but they were respectful of our property, efficient, friendly, neat, and did quality work. I felt comfortable enough with the crew that I left them alone at the house for a few hours while I ran errands.

Really glad I went with Greene Hunt. They did fantastic work, finished on time, and Archie and the crew at our house were all fantastic.

Tl;dr: Experienced, easy to schedule with, efficient, and clean. This company works hard to keep your house running at tip top shape.

We had polybutylene piping in our house and suffered from dealing with two leaks within the first year of living there. We even had to change out our flooring because there was probably a leak in the past that wasn't handled in an appropriate amount of time. We called Jordan plumbing because after dealing with the second leak, we were advised to change out the piping in our house so that we don't have to worry about spontaneous leaking.

We called Jordan plumbing and scheduled someone to come out ON THE SAME DAY. That was unheard of unless in an emergency situation. The workers came and looked around at our water heater and the piping from it and they also recommended changing out the pipes on top of changing out our water heater since it was rusted and it was about time to change anyway.  They also wore booties to keep our house clean while they walked through it so I thought that was a great consideration towards us. Mr. Jordan came out later that afternoon to verify the report that was given to him and he gave us a quote for the work and materials. From what we understood of the pricing based on our other repairs, that was appropriate if not cheaper than what other companies were asking.

Due to the extensive work, they needed an entire day with a decent amount of crew so they scheduled us for Saturday of the same week (actually, about 4 days after our initial consult. We had plans throughout the day so we left them to it. Mr. Jordan himself oversaw the whole operation and was working with his team. He gave us appropriate check ins to make sure we knew what they were doing. They were done around 7pm and cleaned up after themselves. Mr. Jordan connected us with a sheet rock person to come and repair the drywall who offered us a competitive quote -- we ended up going with him.

I got a same day appointment for repair of a hot water heater l. Within a couple days the unit was replaced. The team was very professional,  very punctual, and  the price was very comparable to others in the area.  I would highly recommend them

I called this company's Durham number over a week ago to try and schedule an appointment for some residential electrical work I needed done, and I left them a voicemail.  I haven't received a call back to this point.   Disappointing behavior from what appears to be a medium or larger size company that should have folks in place to receive calls from new customers.
