Established in 2017.
Matt has been plumbing since 2005. He has experience with commercial plumbing, including new construction, as well as residential repairs and new construction. After 12 years of being an employee, Matt was ready to become his own boss, and Matthew's Plumbing Solutions was born!

Plumbing is what I love to do. I started in 2005 and never looked back. I get satisfaction in diagnosing problems and even more so fixing them. My passion is new construction plumbing but I truly enjoy all that plumbing has to offer. I have experience from commercial projects such as daycares and restaurants, to smaller jobs such as replacing a faucet or replacing a water heater. Outside of plumbing, I enjoy spending time with my spouse and animal family. We have two dogs , an inside and outside cat, chameleons, bearded dragons, and a baby on the way!

Undeniably the best plumbing experience I've had in my 36 years on this earth. After another plumber told me my only solution was either an additional water heater or a full replacement I called Matthew's. One individual came, was incredibly thorough, well-mannered, and honest. No solution could really be identified because it was an odd problem. Matt, the owner then came and spent 90 minutes trying to find a solution. Was in the attic, under the house, doing everything. He came up with a plan of attack to rule things out and solved the problem only $241 later. 'Nuff said.

Go with these guys. They'll get the job done with your best interests in mind.

So Matthew commented on my review from a week ago and didn't even tell the truth or know what his employees are up to. Sorry Matthew everything you said was a lie. The woman that answered the phone didn't say you were busy I could have understood that. She said and I quote oh your a property manager.... We don't take jobs from them anymore.... And then I asked nicely may I ask why not?  And she literally hung up the phone on me. Totally rude and in my opinion should be fired. You should know how your employees are treating potential customers. Even if you don't want to work with property managers that's ok also but if they ask why at least have something nice to say and don't just hang up on someone

I called Matthews in order to consider getting my two 50 gallon gas water heaters replaced. They were prompt and sent out one of their folks to look and provide a quote. After the quote I agreed and they started work within a day or two.

The de-install and installation seemed to be without issue. The next day we experienced a ton of issues with the unit throwing codes and not working correctly. Additionally there were two small issues that the town inspector wanted corrected.

Matthew and his team were exceptionally responsive to the issues. They made exception and came out immediately even after hours in order to fix the issues. It took several trips out to the house but throughout the process Matthew was very communicative. He was confident they would be able to get the new unit to work properly and told us that no matter what the issues would be resolved. The issue has been resolved and Matt and his team have continued to follow up just to make sure there are no issues.

You would be silly to choose any other vendor, Matt and his team are NOT the type of plumber to set it and forget it.

Matthew was incredible. He came to my house within an hour of me calling in an emergency. He did everything he could to fix a really weird plumbing conundrum that we were in. His receptionist was also super nice and accommodating. I definitely recommend him to anyone needing a plumber. He was great!!!!!

I would 100% recommend Matthew's Plumbing Solutions. As a single mom, I  was clueless who to call and trust when the only toilet in my home  stopped working on a Sunday evening. Matthew's Plumbing Solutions came  to my rescue. The technician was courteous, compassionate and  considerate of my home. He addressed the issued and ensured I had  complete understanding of the problem and solution. The customer service  was exceptional, especially for an after-hours call. Matthew's Plumbing  Solutions exceeded every expectation and I would highly recommend them.

I agree with previous reviewers-- great service! A neighbor recommended Matthew's. I emailed him and received a prompt (and pleasant) response. He said he would do a quote by email after I sent him a photo of my old water heater that we wanted to replace. His price was in line (better) than another estimate we had received, but I had already decided to go with him based on reviews, neighbor's reccomendation, and his communication with me. Sam came by yesterday and replaced our water heater--he got the job done promptly, efficiently, did excellent clean up, and took time to explain things to us. I can't imagine any better service. Will certainly call them when we need plumbing services in the future. Highly recommend!

What kind of a scam is this??!  See if you can follow this one.  I had purchased a dishwasher with installation included but the store would not install it because the shut off valve was soldered to the water line.  So I was looking to schedule a plumber to come later in the day as the dishwasher was redelivered.  That way I know if the dishwasher is working fine and have time to address return or repair.  When I called Matthews and sent a picture of the soldered valve, they told me a dishwasher installation is $225, and replacing the valve would just be charged hourly at $150/hour.  She reassured me the pricing basis is hourly and I could expect to pay for one additional hour on account of the soldered valve needing to be replaced, $225 + $150.  This was very clearly stated and I felt my questions had been covered.  I coordinated the delivery and the plumber, and made sure their schedule allowed enough time; I was told, the appointment allows two hours and that should be enough time to take care of the valve.  Then the plumber was sick so installation was rescheduled 2 days after delivery 10-12.  Then there was a cancellation so the appointment was moved up 9-10:30.  Then the plumber arrived at 9:30 and was in a super hurry to get to the next appointment while pointing out to me all kinds of problems that are going to run the time and costs up and make him late for his 11:00.  Oh, I didn't know you were on a slab...  Uh, a lot of people are on slabs.  Shouldn't someone have asked that on the phone? He tells me all kinds of reasons he will have to charge much more than I was told on the phone, he is going to have to cut the dry wall under the sink because he can't go straight down into the crawl, and I will need two valves instead of one, for both hot water and cold water.  I don't know why I wasn't told that on the phone.  But of course I needed my dishwasher installed.  So I told him to go ahead.  Then after he finished in under two hours, all I could see is the very result that was explained to me on the phone.  I tried to get an explanation of what was different, but he was agressive about collecting and in a big hurry.  And he was not the one I spoke to on the phone.  So I called the office and get this: now they say they charge $225 for dishwasher installation and $150/hour labor, for all hours, and $225 does not include any labor, that is the dishwasher installation.  Huh?  Now the final price came to over $525 and the dishwasher was already there as was the installation kit, so all the materials that were provided were the two valves.  So I was charged for 2 hours over the dishwasher installation price at $150/hour and told that I had received a $100 discount!  Also I was told of another discount since the plumber and tech were actually there 2 hours and change (a lot of time was going over gradiose reasons for the price switching, and asking if he can play my grand piano after he has been under the sink cutting drywall.)   When he changed the valve, he also told me he would have to charge extra for taking out my garbage disposal; and I said if I knew he was going to remove and reinstall the disposal I might have picked up a new one since mine is old, and to this he says, a new disposal is $250, I have one on the truck, and that is the cost of installation which does not include the price of the disposal.  Let me figure this out, to put the same one back in there is the hourly labor charge but to put in a new one I would pay for the disposal plus labor hours plus $250 for disposal installation?  Huh?  Now let me comment on the installation itself.  It was rushed.  Even though I was standing there asking for the plumber to do certain things for me, and being charged hourly, he was not about to do anything but a rush job.  I asked if he would make a nice square cut of the drywall so I could repair it easily.  Is it square?  No.  I asked the tech if I should get my caulking gun from the shed so I could seal behind the dishwasher when the old one is pulled out.  He told me, no they have caulk and they'll take care of it.  Did they caulk?  No.  All I got was a tirade on why I will have to call an electrician to get a plug under my sink.  The wire was coming out from a tear in sheetrock from the floor up a few inches.  I asked if I could get a cable cover from my shed to feed the wire through.  Do you think that happened?  The low point was when the plumber told me I should call an electrician right away to redo the tech's wiring so I could sleep at night.  I said, I hope I can sleep at night with the hardwiring you did?  And he laughed.  The tech also felt free to go through my house without being accompanied or asking permission to go alone, upstairs and through my bedroom.  I had bought a pricy floor model which was shipped back to Atlanta where a new control panel was put on since the floor model had scratches.  Now it is scratched again.  Should I mind since they're so great?

I had a great experience when I contacted Mathew's plumbing solutions for a water heater that stopped working. Kimber was fast and efficient on the phone and Matthew was fast and efficient when he replaced the water heater...which is above our third floor attic...and a pain in the rear end. Both were extremely friendly and answered all of my questions. I really like that this is a very small company. All small businesses should strive to operate like Matthew's Plumbing Solutions.

Matthew replaced my hot water heater on only a few hours' notice. He was fair, educated me on what was going on and other improvements we could make without being pushy at all. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him. His office staff was also very helpful, even able to give me a quote based on photos, which sped the process immensely. I never write reviews, but felt strongly enough about their service to want to do so!

I was referred to Matt by another plumber. He was out promptly for an issue with my rental house. He did the repairs (and actually a little extra) for a reasonable price. I was happy with the quality service.

Everything you would want your plumber to be.  We had a defective piece from the new faucet and he helped me call delta to get it straightened out.  Can't say enough good things.

We didn't know where to begin with regards to finding a plumber. But from the beginning, Matthews was professional.

Their repair guy, Zack, was so respectful and personable. He was easy to talk to you and was willing to talk to us about our options and what was going on. There was no rush and no pressure.

The job was done exceptionally well and we felt like we were made a priority. Again, Zack was fantastic. I would recommend Matthews to anybody.

I noticed my water heater was leaking and left a huge puddle in my kitchen . I sent out a mass quote request on here and Matthew was the only one to even ask anything about the water heater and have a thought to repair it rather than buy a brand new one . Alas it was too old and irreparable and   We has to go with a new water heater . I was chatting with them at 9 I called around 1230 for an appt and they had someone here by 230 . He was super friendly and polite, quick and efficient . He moved the old water heater, disposed of it, installed the new one and even went as far as to clean the tub from where some rust had come from draining the water heater, all in one hour . Pricing was unbelievably fair and didn't change from the requested quote at 9 am. I was incredibly happy with my experience with them ( especially given a few weeks ago I used another company and had a horrible experience. This made up for that tenfold and I have a go to company for any repairs that come up now .

Matthew and his crew did an amazing job on my project; their performance exceeded my expectations. That is, I had a basic removal of the old and installation of the new. However, these guys went above and beyond by doing things that were not expected. This is how you wow your customers and turn them into raving fans. They arrived on time, were courteous, communicated often and got the job done same day. I went from a still working 18 year old tank model to a brand new Navien tankless model; could not be more thrilled with hot water at each tap without having to wait as I did with the old tank model.

We discovered that our 18-year-old hot water heater was leaking early one Saturday morning, and we called Matthew's Plumbing to see if they could help out. We ended up deciding to replace our old unit with a new tankless system. Matthew and Wayne provided us with excellent service and got us up and running within hours of our initial call. We appreciated their prompt attention to our emergency and for resolving the issue quickly.

Emergency need, water coming through garage roof from bathroom above.  I called at their office at 9:52, received a call from the technician (Wayne) at 9:55, and he was in my driveway 10 minutes later!  Fixed the problem and gone by 11:00!  Wow, what a great experience.  That's the way you do it.

No issues with the service. It was just crazy expensive. I was charged $400 for 1 hour of work. About $25 in parts. I complained and they gave me $80 back but I don't think I should have had to to get a fair price, and $325 is still high.

Matthew just replaced my water heater and I couldn't be happier with the experience.  He's one of the few contractors I've dealt with that gives you a price that actually  includes the entire job (equipment, labor, inspections, other related services, tax, etc.).  He and Sam came out fully prepared and completely replaced my water heater in about an hour.  They were professional and pleasant, got the job done quickly and for a fair price.  I highly recommend!

Had a leaking pipe in my front yard. Matthew's responded almost immediately to my inquiry and recommended I contact they City of Raleigh before proceeding with work. Once determined I needed to cover the repair, they immediately scheduled a repair date and even called the city to mark power and gas lines before offering that date. They were friendly and efficient and made a stressful situation much easier on me!

I had an issue water pressure in my shower, so I set up an appointment and Wayne from Mathew's Plumbing came out to diagnose the problem. Unfortunately, problems with my home warranty coverage prevented me from getting this fixed right away. So since I didn't get any work done my review is based on the limited interaction i did have, which was overall good. Wayne was professional and pleasant, and from what i could tell, wasn't trying to overstate the job, up-sell, or something like that. The last star was dropped only due to the fact that I would of been charged for time it took to go to the home depot to look for the required part since it wasn't something they have in their truck. Not sure if that is industry standard, but definitely not something i've personally heard before from a skilled tradesperson (plumber/electrician) doing a job.

I looked for various plumbers to replace aging water heaters with a tankless solution. They came and supervisor was a gentleman and explained in details the plan. I was provided a price quote promptly and once I approved, the crew was professional in getting the job done. I had another professional plumber as a backup but I decided to stick with Matthew's since they also were recommended by my home builder. They will be my go to plumber for future needs. I haven't had a better experience with any plumber in triangle before, so I highly recommend.

Used them for 4th time last week, always fair and responsive, reliable. Neither cheap nor expensive and I do shop around. Once I used a different plumber because of timing but it wasn't an emergency. I'm sure they would have come sooner if it was an emergency.

If your third floor water heater is going to go out, it will happen on a Sunday night when you have visitors and when your husband is out of town. That's what happened to me! Luckily it did not flood. I talked with Kimber on Monday morning and by Tuesday they were out and we had a new hot water installed. (They could have come out sooner but we had a conflict, so if you need them in an emergency, no worries). They quoted us a fair price, were quick but thorough, explained everything. And generally were a pleasure to work with.

I needed help changing out an old shower arm and head that was stuck. Blake came out and was able to get the job done! He had warned me that the pipe in the wall could break but he was going to do his best and he did just that. No broken pipe! And I really appreciated the heads up. As far as scheduling goes, every time I called, someone picked up and was able to schedule me in and answer questions. Blake was right on time and for the first trip when he was running a few minutes behind he gave me a call in advance to let me know. Awesome experience and I will definitely be using this company again in the future.

We have worked with a number of area contractors during a recent home move, and Matthew's Plumbing is one of the most professional and easy to work with. Our move would have been much smoother if everyone conducted business as efficiently and transparently as this company does. Our telephone call for emergency service was answered promptly, the problem was quickly identified, a professional quote was emailed for approval, and then the plumbing technician showed up at the scheduled time and quickly and efficiently fixed our problem. We now have this company on speed dial and plan to use them for all our plumbing services. I highly recommend this company.

Matt and Kimber make a great team! Kimber answered right away when I called and was very polite. We needed a hose bib replacement and our house is on a slab. Kimber told me she would have to check on the exact cost with Matt since she only had the general cost if we had a crawl space or basement. She called me back soon after and gave me the exact cost and said Matt could install an access panel so we wouldn't have trouble getting to the pipe in the future if we needed to.

I called around to a few other companies and most weren't sure how they would handle accessing the hose bib or said they would cut into the dry wall and we would have to patch it. The one other company that said they would patch it after cutting had a much higher cost.

I called Kimber back and she was able to get us in that night. Matt arrived and was very friendly. He tried to access the pipe without cutting an access panel but wasn't able to. He did an amazing job cutting a space for the panel and was thorough in his work. He fixed the hose bib and the panel fit in perfectly. He even cleaned up the dust from cutting the panel. Matt even gave us advice on how to keep the hose bib working properly.

I would highly recommend Matt for any plumbing services you need! He is professional, experienced and affordable! Thank you Matt for all of your help and we will definitely contact you if we need you in the future!

Matthew's Plumbing Solutions recently installed a utility sink in my garage. I have known Matt for a few years now and will only call him for my plumbing needs. In the past he has installed a tank-less hot water heater and removed a clog that was pretty deep in the plumbing system.

His team always does top notch work and leaves the work area just as clean or cleaner than when they arrived. Any new pipes/drains/etc are installed neatly. They take pride in not only the functionality of their work, but the appearance.

I will use no other plumbing service in the future and could not give Matthew's Plumbing Solutions a higher recommendation.

Business owner here. This guy saved us. We opened our salon at 10am on a very busy Saturday and noticed we had no hot water! We were referred to Matthew from a client and I I'm so happy we were. He was there within a couple of hours and had our hot water running in no time. We are so thankful we found him and plan to use them for all our home and business plumbing. If you're looking for quality honest work, look no further.
