Heidinger Plumbing Company

I received Bill Heidinger's number (the owner) from a neighbor who had work done on his house.  He kept raving about how great the work was and how this guy didn't charge by the hour only by the job.  

When I called Bill he asked that I give him a synopsis of what I needed done.  He quickly assesed what might be wrong with my :

*leaky garbage disposal & sink
*water pressure in upstairs shower/ tub
*leaky toilet

He came in the next day with his son and fixed all three within 2 hours.  He replaced my cracked garbage disposal with a new one, gave me a new shower head, and fixed the leaky toilet.    Labor and parts came out to a little over $300+.   I found it reasonable but when you're dealing with a handyman you prefer honesty above all.  

Bill is an honorable guy who wont charge you for installing a brand new toilet when all you needed was a new flapper.  

This will probably be my go to plumber from now on.

Everything was fixed as expected and he promised to check in in a few weeks to make sure everything was still as I expected.

Bill was very professional and nice. I unfortunately have a home with much much older pipes and things were a bit difficult to say the least. Bill took the challenge like a pro.
He will definitely treat you right and do a Fantastic job.

Bill is a fine gentleman and a plumber you can trust, for the quality of his work and his fair prices. He's the guy that you've been looking for forever, which is to say, a plumber with integrity and skill. Great to have had him work for me.

I just bought a house in January of this year, with all the 20 year old appliances and plumbing that came with it. When I got a new washing machine, I found out that the cold water hose had rusted on from the previous washer, meaning I wouldn't be able to hook up the new one. Bill was incredibly understanding of my urgency and fit me into his schedule quickly. He under promised and definitely over delivered when I found out he wouldn't have to knock a hole in the wall to replace the plumbing!

As someone with student loans and a mortgage, I can also say that Bill was extremely fair with pricing, but most important, I'm very happy I had top notch service!

I've never had or needed a plumber so when our water heater started filling a 4 gallon bucket a week I went two places to find out who to call: yelp and our neighborhood list-serve. Both pointed to Heidinger  plumbing. Bill Heidinger was able to schedule an appointment for two days after the initial call. We didn't consider our case to be an emergency so two days was fine with me. If we needed him sooner I'm sure he would have adjusted accordingly. The plumber was at the house for two hours. In that time he had discovered our water heater was not broken, the valve was just broken. He replaced the valve after partially draining the water heater. When he attached the new valve it didn't fit because our model was older. He proceeded to weld the piece in his truck so it worked with our tank and reinstalled the part. He also adjusted the flow of our bathroom sink before leaving.

The price of the work was completely reasonable and he was a nice guy. He explained everything he did to me as he went. He was a little chatty but it was enjoyable. I enjoyed his company as well as his much appreciated work.
