I was notified by the City of Raleigh that I had a sewer line backup on the edge of my property that I was responsible to have fixed. They gave me 48 hours before they would cut my water off. I called Lane plumbing and explained the situation. They gave me a rough estimate over the phone and I asked them to put me on standby until I could confirm some things with the City of Raleigh. The next morning I called back and said I needed them to come out. They were there in about an hour. They fixed the issue quickly and were very reasonable with the price.

Very reliable and responsible guys. Vincent was able to fix our old irrigation system without any available documentation and/or plans. Also for the person who didn't have a deal with irrigation systems before their advices are hard to underestimate. I would really recommend Vincent and his business for any project which has a word irrigation system in its title.
UPD. I am not a bot, I have no idea why yelp software is not recommending my review. There are no human support at all to fix it.

I had to replace a shower drain gasket that was leaking into my downstairs neighbors shower . She had used this company earlier in the week so it seemed easiest and most logical to have them come out again . Big mistake . The guys were polite. One was an apprentice and not too quick . They arrived late ( about 930, though the appt was for 9 and the receipt claimed they began at 8 .) They assessed the problem and went to buy the parts needed ( which according to the receipt was a 20$ kit that also never came with a verifiable receipt and that they drove 13 miles to find (round trip ) and I live 4 miles TOPS round trip distance from ace hardware & two grocery stores . ALL OF THIS - the 13 miles trip for the 20$ shower drain gasket kit took 1.5 hrs which I was billed for and have no way to verify. ) The apprentice for the most part was installing it as a learning moment ( which I am all for teachable moments but not when I am paying $200 per hour), but was not quick at all . The entire process lasted 3 hours and the installation itself despite the slow pace of he apprentice was the quickest part ( 30 mins). For something I could've done ... I paid $600.00. I will not EVER,EVER, EVER  use or recommend this company again . This was a huge mistake .

Great company prompt response to my voicemail. Diagnosed problem over the phone with a quick text pic of the problem. Showed up earlier than expected but called first. Whole job was done in 30-35 minutes. Very reasonable for what we had done! Will use them again from now on.

Great service at a fair price. My pipe burst from the recent freeze and Stephen got it fixed in the next day even though most places were only able to come during   expensive after hours. He responded quickly to my Yelp project request and did everything as expected and held to his estimates. He was a gracious guest in my house and fixed things exactly like I requested. He added stop valves to help avoid losing water across the house in the future and insulated all of my pipes to prevent future freezes. I would definitely recommend and will be contacting him again for future handy man needs.

When our water heater kept shutting down we tried several fixes to be cost effective and Dave and Matthew were always very responsive to quickly swing around to resolve the issue. Even if that meant coming by after normal hours to look and address the issue. They will always shoot straight with you and I have never met a nicer person than him.

I called Cary Plumbing to fix a leaky shower head.  I had previously called ARS and they told me the valve would not come off and they didn't want to force it or it would break.  They said they would have to replace the whole inner workings of the shower and to do that they would have to go through our closet wall.  We would have to disassemble our shelves and then get someone to come in and patch the big hole in the drywall that they were going to have to make in order to get in the shower.  All in all it would have cost us over $2,000.  There was something about the ARS guy I didn't trust.  So we called Cary Plumbing.  Marcus Tush was the technician who came out and he fixed it!!!!  He was able to get the valve off with several different tools and some patience.  It turns out the cartridge needed replacing.  He charged us $125.  He was very nice and professional.  I am so glad I called Cary Plumbing.  I will only be using them in the future and would recommend them to anyone and everyone!

I needed a new hot water heater installed and Mr. Mayo drove over to my house and hooked it up without any difficulty at all.  His services, communication skills and professionalism were all excellent.  And the cost was most agreeable.  Highly recommend!!

After inspection I agreed to proceed and they determined the issue and saved me significant money compared to other quotes I received. I would highly recommend Roto-Rooter for their customer servcie and quality.

They recently did a drainage project for me in the swale area between my house and my neighbor's house. They did a very good job and it functions very well as can be verified by the intense rain we have had recently. The key is - know what you want done, agree on the deliverables, and keep them accountable.
