Cedric Prichett was a pleasure to deal with from the first call and text message to the visit  to our home.  He said what time he would come to the house, he arrived as he communicated he would and his team proceeded to quickly identify our problem as many wall sockets were dead and lots of lights and other  appliances weren't working in different parts of the house

They had all the right equipment, knowledge and know how. He explained as he went.  He replaced damaged breakers, I think this was a small job compared to others he must get, but it was big for us and he handled the job with skill and confidence.

We had been searching for a professional licensed electrician and lo and behold Yelp came through with a great lead and now we know we will call on him again.  

I recommend him, highly.

Cedric does his job and disappears. He doesn't respond to follow-up calls if something goes wrong with the installation.

We paid a lot to install LED lights that were supposed to have 22yrs warranty and three out of 12 bulbs have stopped working and Cedric doesn't respond to calls. Terrible product quality installed and terrible service.

Can do better for the price.

I called him directly, explained my house situation, scheduled with his secretary confirming the cost of the operation (already grounded outlet, need to change it from 2 to three prong) $150 when the agreed upon was $120 initially, and $110 at a local union electrician who did odd jobs on his off time. He comes to my house and seems in a hurry to get started, I ask him to confirm the price and he goes from $120 to $150.

IN retrospect I wish I had just said no right there, but our fridge was out and the Kitchenaid Service repairman said to change the outlet or else they wouldn't do the operation. I felt like he took advantage of us in a bad time sensitive situation. Would not recommend. The change in the price on the spot after two confirmations is a huge red flag. This was after missing the appointment the day before. Unprofessional.

Scam Alert!!!  Half a year ago I paid Cedric $1,300 as a down payment for work on a rental property.  He never did the job, rescheduled dozens of times,  eventually agreed to pay me back.  He didn't pay.  If you had a similar experience please contact me.  I'm a lawyer and I'm getting together a group of his scam victims that will pursue legal action to put him out of business.

I had Cedric install some recessed lighting in my living room and a year later, it is still awesome!

Cedric and his team do quality work. Great customer service, honest, reliable, and fairly priced. I would definitely hire them again. Highly recommended.

Cedric not only did the project that he came out to do, he also was kind enough to fix another issue that he noticed while he was here, my entry buzzer stopped working and he installed a new buzz-in unit thingy in minutes and it works great now.

He was on time and his prices were reasonable.

Cedric is professional, conscientious, and affordable. He did great work for us (a huge project) all within budget, and completely in line with the city inspection process.  I couldn't recommend anyone better!

Cedric and his team installed multiple lights in my home and did a wonderful job. They were professional, patient and meticulous. I would surely re-hire Cedric to do more work in my home in the future. He is difficult to get in touch with but it was worth the persistence.

As others have said here, Cedric is incredibly professional and responsive, and extremely reasonably priced. He's done a few projects for me, all of which I have been completely satisfied with. I would strongly recommend him to anyone for electrical work of all kinds in the Jersey City area.

Cedric is an amazing electrician who helped me connect all my home theater equipment with new outlets and made sure that all where protected from brownouts, surges, etc. His work is impeccable.  I recommend him to do any electrical work for me and everyone else. Great job!!!

Cedric made an appointment and did not show up. Extremely unprofessional!!!

He installed two ceiling fans in my rental property about two years ago.  It was not an easy job since it required removal of gas pipe and was in a very tight space. He did not lose  his coo. He did a very professional job and it was at a very reasonable price.  I am now going to call him again for another ceiling fan installation.  He is very agreeable and does everything needed for the job.  We both were in the Navy at different times; and he was a Navy Electrician.  I was Navy Interior Communications about twenty years earlier.
