Dustin Was Very Honest, Professional, & Gave Awesome Service

Dustin Ferguson from FPS Plumbing came to my house right on the appointment time to fix one of my toilets that was leaking water out of the toilet tank into the toilet, about every 10 minutes. The toilet would turn itself on to refresh more water into the toilet tank. The toilet tank valve needed to be replaced, and within 20 minutes Dustin was able to take out the old toilet valve, and totally replaced it,  with a new one. He also snaked the toilet, so it would have no problems sucking down any items in the toilet very quickly. Dustin has a very relaxing and professional personality and double-checks everything to make sure it's perfect.  Dustin has a very nice FPS Plumbing truck, and I love the FPS Plumbing Logo on the truck. If I have any Plumbing problems in the future, I will definitely call to bring FPS Plumbing to my house again. Dustin is very trustworthy and answers all of your questions while he's working. Fireplace repair:

There aren't too many businesses that repair gas fireplaces in the valley, but I'm glad that ICE does! On Monday I submitted a yelp quote, set up an appointment for Tuesday AM. Here are the highlights:

1. Front office staff is polite, knowledgable, and communicative. I received a text letting me know my tech would arrive in 30-45 minutes and he did.
2. Ricky was very thorough in his inspection, sharing his knowledge of how my fireplace works and what common issues are.
3. Extensive troubleshooting - he didn't rush to suggest that I needed a whole new unit and when the problem seemed to be a pretty expensive repair, he went out of his way to make sure that there was not a cheaper option.
4. There was a cheaper option! He let me know I just needed to replace my wall switch.

I only had to pay for the service call ($69) and swap out a switch, which anyone with 5 minutes and a screwdriver can do.

Honestly, learning how my fireplace works was worth the service call. Very happy and would recommend these guys to anyone.

We were referred to Excel Plumbing by a neighbor who has used them for both residential and business needs.

We needed to have a garbage disposal installed as well as a couple of other minor items; Cindy, the customer service person was extremely friendly and helpful to set up the appointment and Kevin, the plumber, was very knowledgeable and professional.

Kevin was very detailed oriented and ensured the job was done well and did a great job with cleaning up after he was done.

Excel was reasonably priced and the plumbers don't work on commission, so there's no pressure to purchase additional and/or unnecessary services.

We plan on using Excel for any plumbing needs that may arise in the future.

Active Plumbing.. A TOTAL RIP OFF. The company was a referral from Southwest Gas. I set up an appointment and they were here on time. When I initially called, I was told that it would be $49 (ish) for the service call. When the repairman arrived he told me it would be  a minimum of $267 as he had to diagnose the problem before the repair. I'm a senior citizen and cannot afford THAT luxury. Now, back to the problem at hand. While the repairman was in my house, I called Active Plumbing. The repairman left and went outside to his truck. WHILE I was speaking to Active, the guy just DROVE AWAY.. YUP - DROVE AWAY. The woman at Active said 'WHAT? Never heard from them again. I wouldn't give that company the wrong time of day...

Requested a quote for a shut of valve to be placed for my stove. Upon Rooter Ranger arriving to my home, I received a quote for over $300 to place a valve. Not to place a new line or even to connect the new stove to the valve, I literally just needed a shut of valve added so RC willey can connect the stove. I even asked the technician to walk me through what he needed to do & I was pretty confused when he said he just needed to turn off the gas and connect the valve, that's it.  Luckily, I was able to call the next plumbing company on my list who sent someone over to add the valve for $150. $125 for the minimum service fee to come out and $35 for the valve. Simple, easy, price makes sense. Took less than ten minutes. Not really sure where a quote of $300 for a valve is coming from, even the plumbing company that came to place the valve were extremely surprised. I will say the technician who came out for Rooter Ranger was very kind but that's pretty much it. I will definitely be letting others know not to go through here, the work and the price should be congruent.

Nick is amazing! I asked for a quote through yelp and he was able to get it fixed in no time at all. With other companies they would show up and not even provide an estimate! He is very responsive and really cares about his customers. His prices are also competitive compared to other plumbing companies who charge a ridiculous amount to change a faucet. I will be contacting Nick for my plumbing needs in the future. If you have any plumbing issues, don't hesitate and go with True Drain!

I'm torn about reviewing this company. Two years ago, my AC unit failed, and they came out and replaced the compressor. They were prompt, professional and explained everything in such a way that, even at 2700 miles away, I understood what I was paying for. Of course, I called them when the unit failed again this year, but something about the company is very different. I am not sure if there was a change in management/ownership, but I would certainly hesitate about calling them next time. This time, not only were the parts that failed not covered by their warranty (of course), they were hugely expensive. On top of that, the technician told me it might be a good idea to replace the entire inside unit, which coincidentally, would cost the exact same amount of money as the outside unit. To the dollar. On top of that, the technician decided to save me some money by not replacing the thermostat because it didn't really need to be replaced (even though I told them to replace it) and a week later, there was a short in the thermostat (how does something with that little electricity running through it have a short?) and it actually caught fire. Luckily, my tenant was home at the time, so she could shut the breaker off. But now, they have to go back out there, and will be charging $200 to do so. I probably should have just told my tenant to take $100 off her rent this month, go buy a thermostat at Lowe's or Home Depot, and install it herself - I feel like she probably would have done a better job. I would recommend that, if you have another option, you call that company first. This company will do the job, but they are neither fairly priced nor particularly honest.

I had Delbert come out from GFC plumbing on Wednesday. He did a sink and disposal install, fast and clean. Made sure everything was working correctly and didn't have any leaks. Great job- thanks

Called to get an estimate on pipes that were rattling and rumbling for a couple of days. Julian came and diagnosed the problem quickly and gave a reasonable price for the fix. Excellent work and professionalism. Hopefully won't need any more work done in the future but if we did we would definitely call Repipe express again.

Outstanding service. Super professional and a very detailed worker. Paul doesn't leave anything to chance. He considers about 10 possible outcomes just so you have options and know what to expect.

I wanted a new single bowl sink installed in a short period of time. Paul accommodated and came by first thing the next day to make an assessment of what I needed. Initially, I called a few people looking for a good plumber and I told Paul I was going to call him back after I got a few more quotes. He actually called me back to let me know of things to ask all the plumbing companies I was calling to make sure they were equipped to handle the job. Now that was awesome! I decided to then go with Paul.

So he came and we found out that the sink I blind purchased on Amazon was a bit too big for the hole that it would sit in. He recommended me to either return the sink and get a new one, or get someone to cut the granite. I went for the granite option since this way I would have the sink I bought and wanted.

Long story short, a company came and cut the granite and he installed the sink immediately afterwards so I had zero downtime without a sink.

Would definitely hire again and recommend him to everyone I know that needs any plumbing work. He's just an overall cool and professional guy which leaves you completely satisfied with his work.

We live in an old home and had a major flood coming from our bathroom. I called several businesses and S & A was the only business to get back to me in a timely manner. They were fast to come out and give me an estimate. Sam and his team were amazing!  They worked hard, fast, and efficiently. The team is professional and friendly and did A++++ quality work.   I really appreciate that they were in contact the entire time, letting me know what was going on the with the work process. They also returned all my calls and answered any questions I had (which were a lot). S & A are also very reasonably priced, and there were no surprise charges! You dont have to use a huge company to get great results.   I highly recommend this business and they have all my future business!  Thanks Sam and Team!

I am the realtor who have been using this company for years because I personally know Walter and he had always been honest.

Recently I referred another client to him, they are an older couple, unfortunately, they were taken advantage of.

The operator first told my client that the valve wasn't properly connected.
I called for the details for my client, she then told me the valve was actually fine, just wasn't turned on all the way...

So I asked:  $175 to just turn on the valve?
The operator:   No it was the service fee to send out the technician.
I asked:  $175 to just send out a technician? Most importantly, you never disclosed it?
The operator:  ...our technician spent time to get there...it was 1.5 hours...
At this point, what she said didn't make sense anymore.

I felt really bad to referred my client such a dishonest company, so I paid for their service fee.

I will not be needing the $50 coupon because neither my clients nor I will ever use this company again.

I bought a house with a brand new water heater with the Always Open contact information for the warranty.  When I called after I closed on the house because the water heater was malfunctioning, I got an extremely rude representative who hung up on me and told me he didn't know how I got his information.  If I could give 0 stars I would.

Consumer beware, I thought they were a reasonable and reputable company, they came out to give me an estimate to install a faucet in my wet bar and a few other handyman type of plumbing repairs and the estimate was over 750$ they are insane! I'm in the wrong line of work obviously lol. I chose not to have the work done, so they've been harassing me with phone calls 3 times a day to collect 25$ service fee. I have no problem paying the fee but the rep literally just called again and expected me to drop what I was doing to give her payment over the phone. I don't think so! I told her send me an invoice and then I'll pay you, she still insisted on waiting on the phone till I checked my email for the invoice! Crazy!! Meanwhile, they never gave me a copy of the job estimate and expected me to pay for a job that maybe should cost around 200$ at the most.
