A four-generation family business that's reliable, friendly, and quick. We got an appointment right away when others had weeks-long waiting lists. John and Paul are a great team and even course-corrected when a different carpenter messed up. And Mrs. Hovde was gracious when I lost the invoice! I hope we don't need their services again, but they'd be my first call if I did. Thanks, John!

My husband and I had an awful plumbing leak and were concerned cause it happened on the coldest day yet this winter (-20 below!). I tried calling around the area only to get voicemails - with many businesses locally not opening their doors until around 8:30AM - and I was making these calls at 6:30AM. In addition, some mentioned that they weren't traveling more than x amount of miles for service due to the cold and windchill. Howver, I decided to give this company a call and Wayne answered! He was not only helpful, but guided me through everything on the phone until he could get a plumber their and provided his cell phone in case I needed to contact him prior to the tech coming. Wayne moved things around on his schedule - in regards to priority - and scheduled the visit to our home as #2 for the day. Connor came to our home and was really very nice, professional, and guided me through what I should look for and keep an eye on. He fixed our issue in a quick amount of time and offered much insight based on his experience. He was great (and so was Wayne!) and I definitely couldn't recommend this small-owned business more as they are honest, reasonable, and prompt with their services!

Can't say enough good things about these guys!! Our general contractor, Corey, was SO responsive and easy to work with. He communicated every step of the way on an interior water damage insurance claim involving mold. He made sure if there would be any out-of-pocket costs, we would know about them. He handled all of the communication with our insurance adjuster at lighting speed! Start to finish, he had the project done in less than 2 weeks. The previous general contractor we'd been communicating with (different company) drug his feet for months after our insurance asked for a more detailed quote. Corey and his guys provided everything necessary immediately! He stopped over on a Friday and had the bid to insurance by Monday. Everyone that came out were timely, friendly and got the job done to our expectations!! Thank you!!!!

03/01/16 = Tom and Jim came out to our house to repair leaking plumbing under our kitchen sink. They also installed new fixtures that we had purchased. They showed up early and were friendly and professional. There were a few curveballs due to the 1958 construction of our house. No problem with these two pros...they had all the repairs and replacements done in a few hours. They took the time to explain to us what the problem was, and how they were going to fix it. Not only would I call them again if I needed to...but I wouldn't mind if they were our neighbors. That's how nice they both were. Truly a credit to their company and a testament of great service from Marks Plumbing Service.

I had the pleasure of having Stillwater Plumbing install a Rinnai tankless water heater in my home. They were very prompt for both the estimate and the actual install. They exceeded my expectations and we're very happy with our new water heater. John patiently went over all the ins-and-outs of having a tankless water heater with me so I feel confident with the new unit. They cleaned everything up after they were done and left my house as clean as it was before they started, definitely a nice touch. I will be working with them again in the future for my plumbing needs!

Local small business. Nick is a Licensed Master Plumber. Very affordable. He provides quality, honest, guaranteed service. We called him out for a project one time and he didn't have the specialty equipment - he didn't charge us, made a referral and then followed up with us later to make sure the work was complete. That kind of concern from a business is rare. Highly recommended.

Steve is an amazing plumber!  He was able to come and fix our leaky tub pipe in less than 30 min and did a fabulous job!  He was professional, courteous and a wealth of knowledge, explaining everything to me as he worked away on my rusty pipe. I will definitely use Steve again in the future for any plumbing issues that may arise and I strongly suggest you do the same!

I have a property I rent out and I read the reviews on Yelp and called Geno based on the positive reviews.  Well, Geno gets another 5-star review from me as well.  He coordinated with my tenant to arrange a time to stop by.  He gave me a quote over the phone, but the problem was so minor, he did not charge me the full amount.  I certainly do not expect this result every time, but it will certainly make Geno my first call in the future.  The tenant was very pleased with the repair as well.  Thanks Geno!

The Appt. was set the day I spoke with a customer service rep.   She said I was on standby but with in a few hours Eric arrived. Eric was kind, friendly, speedy and knowledgeable and he didn't mind my cat being nosey. I highly recommend Benjamin Franklin.  It was very affordable too.

We used Hometown Plumbing to fix a leak in our new house.  Mike came out, gave us an estimate, and fixed our leak. He was timely and professional. He also gave us a few tips on common issues he has seen in homes like ours, so we know what to look for and how to manage future issues. Glad we found a plumber we can trust!!

Do not hire. Hired Dean's to help me while remodeling my home. Plumbing and electrical. The staff was friendly and they appeared reliable. On the second job I hired them for, I purchased their club membership program. Which allows for free in-home consultations and inspections. They called me to schedule an inspection on my plumbing. They called the evening of and canceled. They wanted to reschedule for June. I said sure. They never replied...
I hired them again to fix a leaking drain on my sink. They called an hour before the scheduled visit to cancel. The staff was rude and condescending over the phone. I had used vacation from work to be present for the repair. When complained about my inconvenience, the girl on the phone became snarky. I'm a busy person (like most adults) and it is important to not be jerked around. Time is money...Once they get your money, they don't seem to care about you. I wouldn't trust the company. The guys I met were nice, but they are a mess. Over priced, unprofessional, unorganized-and unreliable. $3000 for 15 feet of gas line and 3 outlets installed. You'd think they would care about their customers. ‍

I love Uptown Plumbing, Heating & Cooling. They always send amazing technicians who are on time, friendly, courteous and competent. Today Joseph V. installed a Pristine Air Filter for me. He was terrific and completed the job in no time. I highly recommend everyone at Uptown!

This auto filled Loved that they showed up in a mask.  Funny, because that's ALMOST exactly why they're getting one star. It left out *didn't*. My pipes broke and I had water spewing. My usual plumber and everyone else I called was backed up two weeks. Theae guys could be here in 4 days max and possibly the next day so I went with them. I wasn't thrilled or happy when the guy showed up without a mask on.

Walking into someone else's house in the middle of the worst disease outbreak in a hundred years and you won't wear a mask because [you're] sick of this Corona crap? I'm so glad to get your medical opinion. And thanks for letting me know that the next time I have plumbing issues I need to call my dentist.

Extending basic countries is your responsibility. It's not something other people should have ask you to do.

Scheduling was a challenge.  I was told the installer would be arriving at a certain time and they never showed up.

The appliance required a bracket that was screwed into my hardwood flooring.  I understand the bracket is a requirement, but when the appliance was slid back in to the bracket it was installed off center (and not by a small amount, it was several inches).  The installer did not take the time to center the appliance on the wall and now more holes will have to be drilled into my flooring.  Simply taking the time to take a quick measurement (under 1 minute) and this could have been avoided.  

While leaving with the box the appliance came in one of the installers broke a light in my garden lining the pathway.  He then attempted to stick it back in to the ground as if it was fine.  I told the guy it's broken and asked him to just leave it be.

The installers wheeled this same box up the path when they first brought the appliance to the house, they knocked over a cage that I had protecting a plant (but nothing was damaged).  They didn't hit any of the lights on the way in, there is no reason why one of my lights needed to get damaged on the way out.  It was a careless mistake.

Customer service for MN plumbing took no accountability for their mistakes.  The woman could care less offering no apology and simply said talk to Best Buy.

There were also hidden charges associates with the job.  The installer screwed a valve on to the pipe before connecting the appliance.  I estimate the valve cost less than $5 at Home Depot.  It took him under a minute and they charged $130.  

This company does poor quality work, they have poor customer service skills, and they over charge.  Do yourself a favor and NEVER let MN Plumbing into your home to do work.  There are other companies in the twin cities that are far better options.  I hope this review saves others from having the negative experience that I have had.

We needed a kitchen faucet replaced and called All Ways Drains as they were recommended to us by other residents in the building.   Matt K. Was at our house within 4 hours and he was friendly, professional and clearly knew what he was doing!    Our experience with this company was excellent and specifically with Matt was fantastic!  And, while I do hope that it is a while before we need a plumber again, Matt and All Ways will absolutely be our go to from now on!

Had leak under tub at house we were refinishing and initially the plumber did the job quickly and at fair price. After renovations on house complete, the tub having never been filled or used, we tested tub and it leaked into room below. Called the plumber at least five times and when he would answer, he would put me off and never called me back.  Ultimately, he refused to remedy the faulty repair claiming, incorrectly, that he had sent a bill for a later 10 minute look see, and we had never paid it.  This was absolutely false.  Poor work quality and absolutely worst customer service ever.  DO NOT USE - there are many other good, responsible plumbers in St. Paul who are more trustworthy and will at least try to stand behind their work.
