Genuinely some of the best people we have had the pleasure of hiring to work on our house. Youngcastle Bathrooms are super responsive and great communicators.

Also, Dimitri is the best. He went above and beyond and is extremely knowledgeable without trying to get you spend extra money. He was always on time too and is extremely thorough. I'd hire him again in a heartbeat.

Our project took three weeks to complete, and it was incredible how non-invasive and clean Dimitri was, even through snowstorms. Plus, he was great/considerate with pets.

Once again, Kal's Plumbing to the rescue. Despite this company always being busy Rick called me back within the hour regarding my water heater leak. He assured me that I had correctly turned off the water to the tank, and juggled his schedule so that someone could be out to replace it first thing in the morning. Rick's son came out at 8:00 am and quickly removed the old tank, cleaned up the water, and put in a new maintenance free water heater. So happy with these guys. Amazing work ethic and master skills on every level. Two years ago they remodeled a bathroom for me. Love it!!

I'm so grateful that I found Mark and his company's information in the Villager!  He was booked out a week in advance but was able to squeeze us in NEXT DAY!  We were working with Contractors from Hell and they did something to cause the pressure in our shower to be non-existent.  He came over, identified the issue, fixed it on the spot and even took the time to explain it!  We were getting a General Contractor quote at the time (to fix CFH issues) and he even advised us to work with them first before he did anything to help with the dishwasher install.

Great rates, great responsiveness, very honest and trustworthy.  I'm so thankful to stumble across him and wanted to share with the Yelp! community.

Legend Services installed a new Day & Night brand furnace in our home today.  Their service was thoroughly knowledgeable and professional from initial visit to assess the situation, to their estimate, and the actual installation.  They arrived on time, completed the work very neatly in just a few hours, and cleaned up spotlessly when they were done.  I would highly recommend this company for heating, A/C and plumbing work.  Truly one of the most professional service providers with whom I've worked in the 29 years that I've owned the home.  Thanks for an excellent job!

John gave specific detailed feedback, weighed the costs and benefits of what actions to take, showed commitment to customer satisfaction and feasibility in price and functionality, and I got to learn plenty of baseline information about the specific problems that were occurring on my unit so I know why decisions are made.

Keith and his team replaced our water heater that also ran our in floor heating and our water softener. Very responsive to all my questions and gave me an estimate on the spot. I'd called 5 other companies and they didn't get back to me or gave me a very late overpriced estimate. Keith gave the best price and didn't play games. They came in to do the job quickly and finished in one day. They had already finished the job when another company got back to me on their estimate. Really nice and professional group of guys. We had some bad plumbing underneath our kitchen sink. Called up Rose Plumbing as my sister-in-law had used them in the past. They came out the next morning (earlier than they said they would!) and got everything torn out, replaced and working just fine in about an hour. Denny and his son were polite, answered questions, and wore masks to protect themselves and us. I always appreciate a good plumbing company and they were a very no frills get the job done kind of crew. Thank you!

These guys came out and fixed a burst pipe in my garage. They made a stressful situation Very easy to deal with. These guys are super nice and honest. I would highly recommend them.

By far one of the best companies we have used. Friendly, professional, and quick. Emphasis on affordable! We won't even consider anyone else. They came out the same day we called and we're done in an hour.  They explained everything and how it worked and gave us a ton of pointers. Very polite, professional, and thorough work.

These guys are a joke.  The bank I bought my house from sub-contracted them to do plumbing repairs on my house, probably picked them at random. I would never have chosen them.

Their guy sat in my basement smoking cigarettes, doing nothing, charging by the hour while he waited for the city water utility to turn on the water main.  I never asked him to wait in my basement. If I had been there, I'd have told him to do his job or get lost.  Instead, because he hung around doing nothing under the pretense of working, they got to charge me for three times the amount of labor they actually performed. The truth is, he was unable to do any work until the water main was turned on.  Very, very shady. They also charged me an enormous truck fee (around $70) just for getting off their duffs and driving a mile and a half to my house.

In spite of how skeezy this all was, I never disputed the fees or how they were calculated even though I knew I was getting screwed.  I didn't want to wade into the quagmire of smalls claims court as I was trying to get my house into livable condition.

The bank stupidly paid in advance for the work, cut them a huge check and told them to remit the remaining balance to me after they took their cut for their labor. Even with all of their hidden fees and questionable charges,there was still a sizable sum left over.

Well, you can guess how that turned out.  I had to threaten to sue them, file complaints with the BBB, and repeatedly call one of the plumbers at his other job before they finally cut me a check for the outstanding balance.  It took weeks to get my money back.  That money wasn't a gift from the bank.  It was slated for other repairs that needed to be done as part of our signed contract.  Everyone deserves to be able to move into a house that has a functioning toilet and running water.

It sure seemed like they were trying to rip me off in any way they could.  The bank made it easy for them, and they took every advantage they could of my situation.  

My advice: steer clear.  And if you are ever in a position where the bank you are buying your home from is paying for repairs to be performed, if those repairs are going to be performed after you move in, make sure you're the one choosing contractors and subcontractors.  And don't allow anyone to make bids who has bad reviews.  I don't know if Tschida Brothers did before, but they do now.

I would never do business with this company again.  They refuse to provide any pricing info over the phone, even basic hourly rates so you have a general understanding of how they come up with charges.  It makes it impossible to compare prices, and they know it.  I'm quite sure it is intentional.  They require a $50 truck fee to come out and give an estimate, which is fine, but by that time the customer is already somewhat trapped, especially if you have an urgent plumbing matter.  The technician charged me $650 for a job that LITERALLY took half an hour to complete: replacing 2 shut off valves.  Very routine, very quick, very easy.  I was stuck accepting their highway robbery price because it was a leak that shouldn't continue over night till the next day.   On top of that, they require a credit card up front to hold your appointment, but promise they won't charge it without authorization.  Fine.  I told them I was going to pay via check.  But they went ahead and charged my credit card anyway without authorization, and I had to have it reversed.  Just another hassle for a ridiculously overpriced service.

The WHOLE time, this plumber told me about how juicy his pear was. He told me it was ripe and other inappropriate things. It disgusted me and my 37 year old son who lives in my basement. He told me the plumber was fruity. I guess that explains why he likes pears. He left me in a state of confusion

Racist. Don't waste your time and money.
