I bought a gas range from Best Buy and paid for installation as part of the order, along with a gas line. When the tech arrived, he told me he could put a valve in for $120, but it wasn't required. I told him I did not want it and only wanted the installation, so he began work. He finished and charged me $120, and when I told him I thought I'd already paid for the install, he responded that install is separate. I thought I'd misinterpreted my Best Buy order and didn't notice it wasn't included, but later investigation revealed I had in fact paid for it. After talking to Best Buy and CRST (the logistics contractor), they pointed me back to Master Plumbing. I was told the gas valve I explicitly declined was in fact installed. I recommend making sure everything is crystal clear up front with this company, and get the terms in writing before they begin work.
