Best Plumbing Services in Minnesota
Our sink and tub were totally blocked. Called Mike Justen in the AM and he was here by 11:00 and had everything working properly again in no time at all. Timely response, honest capable and friendly person all at a fair price. Perfect.

WOW!
They got me even though others told me a four week wait. The issue was fixed fast and professional. I would call the company back for any plumbing issue. I am very happy with all parts of the service starting with the phone call to the headquarters to the visit from the plumber. THANK YOU!

I called Ouverson Sewer & Water in a panic yesterday. The woman who answered the phone listened to my story about another company pressuring me to make a fast decision about two, very expensive repairs.
At first, she told me that they are a small family owned business and that they fit their camera scope appointments in when they could, between other paying appointments. When I called back a half hour later, she spoke to me woman to woman and said it infuriates her to see people trying to take advantage of women and that she was going to make sure that someone would make it to my house that day (yesterday).
The Ouverson Sewer & Water Technician was at my house for maybe 15 mintues total. Within five minutes he had easily pushed his camera through a toilet paper clog that the first company had showed me an insisted was impassable.
Ouverson Sewer & Water charged me nothing, their technician (Matt) showed me that the water was draining through the pipe with ease and potentially saved me $7500 / $8500 that the other company was trying to fleece.
Ouverson Sewer & Water came highly recommended. I hope that you never need them, but if you do, you can bet they will be honest.

Shane and Chad from the Metro Drain Division were at my home yesterday to complete a trenchless pipe repair (relining) project. I hired them because I trusted them to provide a great solution instead of the solution that benefits only them. These guys were pro's and they did not have to dig up my basement to completely reline my drain pipe. This was a far less invasive process and they did the whole thing in less than a day. I rarely say that I am 100% satisfied but it is true with Metro Plumbing. I will never use another plumber in my home.

We had Tony's Plumbing install a water softener, change over some faucets and replace a garbage disposal. They were very friendly and professional. I would highly recommend them.

We had water just pouring out of a pipe when the upstairs shower was used and found out that the neighbors in our duplex were having similar issues, our tech Fred (#4155) was just awesome. He did all the work from one unit. He explained how the issue was affected for both units and just fixed it from ours because the neighbors weren't available. Thanks Fred, you saved 4 people from having to share one shower tomorrow morning!!!!

One month ago, I called Discount Plumbing to snake my mainline. A guy came out, spent an hour and a half complaining about how hard it was to snake my mainline and how he should be charging me more for it. Then, yesterday, my mainline backed up again. I called another company based on a neighbor's recommendation and had the job done right. (Discount plumbing used a much smaller auger than the latest sewer cleaner.) Also, Discount said they would send a person out to put a camera in the mainline, but no one ever showed up once the appointment was scheduled. I will definitely not be using this company again and do not recommend them to anyone else.

I seriously wonder if the negative reviewers are talking about the same service. Eric was prompt, pleasant, SUPER respectful and responsible about COVID compliance (wore a mask, stayed 6 ft apart, washed hands etc), explained all the issues well, and in the course of our discussion about my home's many plumbing problems (observable with my own eyes), he recommended a few things regarding a kitchen renovation I was planning that saved me $$$. He also showed me how to do some basic maintenance so I wouldn't have to call him for a minor recurring issue. I was so pleased with his work on a bunch of annoying small repair jobs, that I have brought him back for multiple larger plumbing jobs.
My house had BAD plumbing when I bought it -- like multiple elements only held together with tape. Shortly after I moved in, I discovered one toilet mechanism was held together with duct tape. Later, when I got a new dishwasher, I discovered my dishwasher drain hose was held to the main drain stack with electrical tape and it had been causing a slow leak under my floating floor (if I hadn't upgraded my dishwasher it could have been years before I discovered this since it was hidden). I actually ended up paying for a second home inspection after finding this many instances of tape used for plumbing after I moved in, because they were not noted in my original home inspection (I'm going to do a brief side plug for StructureTech the best home inspectors who found all kinds of things I wish I'd known when I bought, I will never use another home inspector again in this state). It's pretty depressing to buy a new house and discover someone did a shockingly shoddy job with the plumbing. I fully trust Eric to steer me in the right direction and to talk me through my options - pros/cons/cost. At this point, over the year, he's fixed multiple issues such as small leaks and running toilets (I can repair a basic running toilet but these were more complicated), installed a new water heater, installed a new sink faucet and garbage disposal, hooked up my new refrigerator's water line. My sewer line backed up and when he was unable to come to the emergency, he recommended another company who could do the job for a reasonable price quickly. I have never felt 'upsold' or like he was unwilling to do a smaller job either (which I can't say about other repairs on my house).
Because so much work had to be done on this house, I got estimates on a few things from other plumbers, and I felt Eric was usually cheaper or on par with the other services while being more pleasant/respectful and providing better service. I had one service be pretty rude to me as woman, quote me an outrageous sum, and indicate they would nickel and dime every little thing. No thanks!
I also want to say having someone who takes COVID prevention seriously is a big stress reliever. Eric always worse a K95 high filtration mask, didn't touch his mask, didn't take it off, didn't have to be nagged about things, unlike some people I've had show up at my house without even bringing a mask.
Highly recommend.

Mike installed our disposal that we bought from Costco. He ran the disposal numerous times before leaving our house.
Thought he was concerned about something but he said everything is good. Lifted at that.
Next day ran the disposal and it has a sharp noise when switch is turned on. And sometimes a flash comes from switches.
Called Mike and his response was- fetter call the manufacturer. I didn't do anything wrong.
Well Mike. Nice customer service.

Would not recommend this company to even my worst Enemy. They are nothing more than rip off artist. Had a technician (used VERY loosely) come out and explain that our a/c unit was going to need some major parts replaced at an exorbitant amount of money $3000 or in his opinion to just replace the whole system for a mere $1000 more. Happen to get a second opinion on the matter and low and behold for less than the cost of these con-artists to come out and describe all the things wrong with my a/c unit we are up and running cool and comfortable. I did contact Alex and then also spoke to Greg to allow them to make this right. They chose not to even attempt to make this right. I would RUN from this company there are so many more out there that are better and that are actually TRUSTWORTHY. They will belittle you, talk down to you and this basically explains how they do business.

I called due to a nicked gas pipe. The employee arrived timely however spent about 5 minutes then said he was not able to fix. He said he could call his supervisor and get him over in a couple of days. Since we could not wait 2 days he said he would turn off the gas. Took credit card info and left. I ended up calling a competitor who came out, fixed the problem right away. When we told him the Service Today person made sure the gas was off he said well It is was not shut off at the main. Seems like the service today tech just wanted to get the heck out of there. The only thing Service Today managed to do was to charge $75 for telling me he couldn't fix the issue. I will not be calling Service Today again

Everyone makes mistakes and accidents happen. It's part of life.
However, when a company repeatedly makes blunders which cost you money and then refuses to make it right, that's just bad business. Personally, I had to take vacation time over six days and spend an additional $700 too because of their errors.
My wife and I built a new home last year with Sabre as the HVAC and plumbing contractor, and we've had an incredible amount of trouble with their quality, craftsmanship and customer service.
Here's is a quick rundown of the trouble we've had with Sabre:
-The technicians at Sabre installed our HVAC system wrongly causing cold winter air to be forced into the house instead of passing through the furnace. This caused our winter heating bill to be $100-$150 more than the average for the winter months. It was eventually fixed, but in the end, their mistakes cost me money.
-Because of the issues with the HVAC system would couldn't use our lower level during the winter. The temperature rarely crept above 60 degrees. At night, the temperature rarely got above 55 degrees, despite our thermostat set at 70 degrees. The problem was eventually resolved, but it took over three months and six service visits to get it done.
-Our 2 Zone HVAC system and thermostats were wired backward. The heat control on the thermostat was wired to the AC system, meaning the AC would turn on when the heat was supposed to. This meant we were greeted by a blast of cold air when the heat was supposed to turn on. This should have been found during inspection but was not. Again, Sabre had to send someone out.
-Technicians had to come to our home six times over two months to fix the problems above. Yes, you read that correctly SIX TIMES. This forced me to take unnecessary time off and lose even more money. You know it's ridiculous when you are on a first name basis with the technicians.
-Finally, we had a natural gas line installed during the building process. I spoke with a rep from Sabre and was quoted over the phone $292 for the job. To my surprise, I received a bill for $550 after it was installed. This price was never agreed upon at any point. I would have paid the bill without much thought, but because we had so much trouble, I was extremely annoyed. I paid the bill, but the company should have compensated us.
Save yourself the trouble and take your business elsewhere.

The most unprofessional and unpleasant business I have ever worked with.
They have workers who have no idea what they are doing but will charge you anyway.
The owner only cares about money and not about customer satisfaction. They will lie to cover their poor performance. BEWARE.
We had a terrible experience with this company.
1. They were 6 hours late
2. We were charged a late fee, when they said they would be there on time
3. They told us they couldn't find a leak in our AC even though they have admitted to us (we have email evidence) there was one.
4. They said they would refund us immediately if we changed our review (we updated our reviews with our agreement and raised our rating of them), but they didn't. Eventually through Facebook we found out they changed their mind on our refund due to our slanderous reviews. I guess they don't want everyone to know the quality of their business. A respectable business owns up to their mistake. We called a different company (McQuillan bros) who said these leaks were obvious and were able to point out many more details than the technician from this company.
Also, in response to Dustin, why would we call back a company that didn't do the job correctly? We wanted it to be actually fixed and not just wait for someone who didn't know what he was doing to fix it again.

I think it is terrible they don't tell you on the phone they charge to come out and give you an estimate 95.00 dollars. Every plumber I have had in the past gave a free estimate. For that reason I won't use them. They should tell you before they come out not while they are already here!
