Best Plumbing Services in Minnesota

We recently moved into a townhouse in Inver Grove Heights that needed some plumbing attention. The shutoff for the dishwasher was completely frozen and it was our intention to replace the dishwasher. The kitchen faucet was also in need of replacement. We also had three toilets we wanted to replace that were badly etched/stained due to hard water. Lastly, the water softener that should have been there to deal with the hard water problem had been removed so we needed a new water softener installed. Being new to the neighborhood, we looked to Yelp to find plumbers who could handle the job. Based on positive reviews, we contacted Keith Nelson Plumbing. They were quick to get back to us and scheduled a visit to assess our needs. Justin came to our home and within a day we had a quote. We decided to go ahead with the entire list of items that needed attention. Justin and DJ spent the better part of a day doing the complete job. They both did excellent work and left the place spotless when they were finished. Justin even did some additional work at no extra charge. We couldn't be happier and will definitely call Keith Nelson Plumbing the next time we need plumbing help.

Mark has come out to my house to install a new water softener and a new toilet over the last few years. He responded quickly, was very professional, took the time to explain what the issues were, and always left the work area really clean. I would definitely hire Mark again for any plumbing issues. I hope he doesn't retire or quit the plumbing business anytime soon!

Called RWPH for a 50 gal Water heater replacement. Carrie was polite and explained their process to me in layman's English. Said a tech would be out 1st thing in the morning 7:30am. Garrett,  the owner showed up personally and went through everything with me. Quoted a good price. I explained I would have to postpone the install for a day or two until I got paid. With a gentleman's handshake we worked it out that I could pay for water heater now, installed and I could pay labor when I got paid.  Michael showed up with the new one and installed in less than 1.5 hours, amazing.i went to the bank to get the $$ to pay for it and found I got paid early. Called Carrie up and let her know I could pay in full. I asked about a Military discount and got another 10% off the original quote. Life saver...  Thank you Garrett, Michael and Carrie for helping us out. Further projects will be referred to Red Wing Heating and Plumbing.  Highly Recommend.

On short notice, Joe made time in his schedule to come out and diagnose my plumbing issue.  He gave me a fair price and an honest assessment, connecting me with the crew needed to to the job.  I absolutely recommend Joe and would hire him again.

I had H2C come out to check out my water heater problems, I had no hot water. The tech was really great, although we ended up replacing the water heater, I never felted pushed into doing so. The heater was very old, they said the could repair it, and gave me options and the pros and cons, and let us make the decision. He stayed and toke care of it right away, I know I made him work a bit late the night but he seemed very happy to stay and help. Price was very fair, and the service was outstanding. I will use them again for sure.

Why would anyone go anywhere else for plumbing supplies?  The store manager has an incredible level of knowledge of every potential fitting or device.  They are incredibly helpful and friendly.

I drive past over a dozen neighbor hardware stores and two big box home improvement stores to get here.  This is the place to go!

Jorge from Top Notch took care of my mainline tree root problem. I get tree roots every year or so it seems, and the guy I used to have do it retired a few years ago. The last few times, I've gone and rented an auger myself and done it, with moderate success. Last time was this summer, and now it started to back up AGAIN! Enough of this! Too sick and tired of hauling that damn machine up and down the stairs, pretending I know what I'm doing... so, a friend recommended Top Notch to me. They were great right from the start. Answered their phone, were polite, and gave me the rates and timeframe right over the phone. When Jorge came, he was personable, polite, and professional. He had my main line augured out in less than an hour, cleaned up after himself, and was exactly what I was looking for in a drain cleaner. Since I know the roots will be back in a year or so, it is REALLY nice to know I don't have to go looking for another drain cleaner. They were super responsive, respectful, helpful, and turned a stressful situation into a pretty easy situation. I would recommend them to anyone!

Paul came out in an emergency situation during the week after normal business hours to fix a sink in my property that the water would not stop running and wouldn't shut off. I called 3 plumbers expecting NO ONE to call me back since it was after 5:30pm. Paul called me back within 10 minutes, came out within 30 min and repaired my sink replacing not only my shut off valve but replacing my faucet on the spot after we realized that it was completely shot. To top that day off, he didn't charge extra or overtime for after hours. About a month later, we had another issue (old pipes) that caused a slow leak underneath and Paul came out again and repaired it. And on top of it, he knows White Bear Lake history and is great to talk to. He is one of the honest good ones in this business. He really believes in taking care of customer and not taking their money.

I had McQuillan come out for an annual check on my boiler system (new in 2011). The tech quickly stated that my flue was reading over 500ppm of CO (I never saw the readings). He said there was no chance of repair and that the only solution would be to turn the heat off immediately and to send a salesman out to quote me for a new boiler. This tech made multiple appeals to the safety of my family and essentially used these scare tactics to believe I needed a new boiler. I had multiple CO alarms in the boiler room that had not gone off. Quote for a standard efficiency boiler came out to over $14,000! I made a few calls and quickly determined that this pricing was several thousand higher than it should be.

Thankfully, I decided to have a second opinion come in for a new boiler quote. When that second company came in, he said that I absolutely didn't need a new boiler. Instead he recommended that a tech come out and do a proper check and maintenance. When the second tech came, he not only confirmed that I didn't need a new boiler, but also showed me that the flue was actually only reading 20ppm (totally normal). He confirmed to me that his measuring equipment had just been sent in for calibration in the last two weeks as well. He did clean and make some minor adjustments to get the reading down to 6ppm of CO.

All of that to say, I do not trust McQuillan nor their ridiculous pricing. Do not be enticed by their $69 check up as they will use it as an opportunity to scare you into buying something completely unnecessary for much much more.

Not honest; once he took his money, did not follow up on work that wasn't completed.  Never returned calls, needed to call another plumber to start over;  wasted $800.

Clint with True Blue Plumbing did a lot of work on my home when I moved in.  This included installing a new water softener, washer and dryer hookups, a new utility sink, a new hose hook up in the back yard, and a new kitchen sink.  

I was very impressed with the quality of the work for a reasonable price.  I wouldn't hesitate to use True Blue Plumbing again if I needed plumbing services.

A plumber from this company came to my condo last week, and repaired a whole list of issues in a very short time. The plumber who showed up was knowledgeable, talented, very professional, and brought all of the tools and parts needed to complete all of the repairs. I am very impressed with this company. I recommend this contractor to everyone. It is very difficult to find quality work at reasonable cost nowadays. This company is one of those rare finds. The bill came in lower than expected as well, so I am very pleased, and will use this company again. Another one of their plumbers was at my sister-in-law's place about a month ago. The work done at her place was also exemplary, fast, and very professionally completed. These guys really know their stuff, and they arrive prepared. Thank you Richfield Plumbing!

So, I had my sewer backed up and called Rol Air. They came out and $600 stated they had cleaned out the pipe and there weren't many roots. Two weeks later I had a more severe back up and called them again. They charged me $250 to tell me the same thing that it was cleaned out- nothing was coming up and it was likely a belly in the pipe. They don't do bellies. So I just had Roto-Rooter out here and they looked at the pipe and found ROOTS. Not a belly. They said there were quite a few roots in there likely causing the issue. So I spend $850 at Rol Air to do absolutely nothing. I will NEVER recommend this company. I have contacted the Better Business Beureau for taking advantage of me and charging that much money to not do their job.

The absolute worst company in Minnesota.
