Best Plumbing Services in Minneapolis, MN
So, my kitchen faucet decided to go berserk and I seemed to exacerbate the problem trying to fix it.
Well, I searched and got a quote from a few companies. I'd booked with a different company, who texted at the last minute that they weren't going to be there on time. Not getting a new time, I reached out again to those who had responded.
Metro had originally stated that they could come out on Friday. I didn't want to wait that long, so I got on their list to see if they'd make it out on Thursday. I was contacted a short time later that someone would be out between noon and 4.
Relieved, I got back to work. It was close to 3 when the nice young man arrived. I let him in and ge went right to work. Less than 30 minutes later, he'd cleaned out and tightened everything that caused the issue. The cost was $120.
This was a quick, inexpensive repair with very friendly service. I've already given their name to a friend who's having plumbing issues at his home.
Thanks Metro! I know who to call when the need arises again.

**Update: after posting this review I was contacted my management and reimbursed to replace the bottom of my cabinet. I'll update my review to a 3 star from a one star because my cabinet is being fixed but I still believe this mistake shouldn't have happened in the first place and did cause an inconvenience on my part and my cabinet won't really ever be the way it was. **
I had a clog in my kitchen sink about 2 months ago. They came in and took apart the plumbing under the sink and couldn't find the clog and put it back together and went to the basement and found the clog down there. That was all great until I realized a few days ago that the kitchen sink has been slowly leaking the entire time (I don't often look at my plumbing unless there is a clear issue and haven't touched the plumbing since the technician was out) and now the cabinet beneath the sink is completely waterlogged. I spent hours trying to look up videos trying to figure out how to fix the leak only to find out that the guy who came out just didn't put a washer back on the pipe to seal it so water wouldn't come out. This happened the day before my one year wedding anniversary and on a Sunday. I called and the tech guy seemed really sympathetic but also told me he wouldn't come out that day because he didn't have time and wanted to check with his manager who was supposed to be returning to work that Monday. He told me he left a message and the manager still has not called me back to follow up to try to resolve this issue. I feel it is pretty unprofessional to miss something like a washer and now my cabinet is ruined and I had to fix the leak and go buy a new washer (who knows what happened to the old one) and YouTube how to fix the issue myself. Granted I'll admit it was not that hard of a fix but replacing the cabinet will be a huge one and a pretty large cost of money on my end for the mistake of a company that could have easily been avoided. Sure I should have maybe checked more frequently to make sure there wasn't a leak after the technician left to avoid it taking me this long to notice but I also didn't think that I should have to check my plumbing regularly when I paid for a dI'm disappointed that no one has bothered to try to fix the issue and I will certainly not be recommending this place for business with how much damage was unnecessarily caused to my home.

Came out the same day we called for service and fairly quick. We had a leaky shower faucet. My first go to is usually to dad, but he and my husband couldn't fix it; enter Big Dave.
He came out fairly quick, got the issue fixed and left us with a very resonable and fair bill.
Nice to have a quick and reasonable plumber nearby.

We had been in our new home roughly 24 hours when raw sewage began pouring into our basement from the floor drain, the shower drain, anywhere it could get into the basement. I was about to call one of the big names when I saw a great review of this local company. I called in the early morning and Nate pulled up before 2pm. He was a rock star. He dropped the camera probe in, found the obstruction, augered it out, and inspected the pipe's entire length for future problems as he went, talking me through his findings. He then cleared out my decomposed drain cover and cleaned up everything he touched, as well as some of the mess that was already there. Great service, great advice, easy going, and the cost was less than I've paid in the past for other companies (by a good margin). I've already made a calendar entry in my phone to call McDonough's every two years for preventative maintenance on the pipe. We can go back to loving our new house again!

Steve is the best in the business! I made the mistake of calling the big name company, and paid the price (literally). Then I found Steve; saved money and I'm confident things are done right when he leaves. Never going to use anyone else

I highly recommend Chris at Dependable Drain for your plumbing needs! We've used him multiple times for our home and rental, his prices are fair, can schedule you in promptly and does good work.

I recently purchased my first home and the water heater was making a ticking sound and was not working (It was very old). I called A.J. Alberts plumbing and they sent someone out who was very helpful and did a great job installing a new water heater quickly. From the customer service to the product, it was 5 stars all around. They have since installed new toilets and sinks in my house and I will call them for all of my future plumbing needs!

I had a major leak with my cold water piping upstairs that caused a leak into my downstairs bathroom. I needed to shut off the water in the house to eliminate further damage. I placed a call to request service and got an immediate response, with somebody out to the house that afternoon. The issue was in a tricky spot, but Bruce took great care. He was a true professional. I felt like his only client. I would absolutely use this service and request Bruce again!

Customer service nightmare! Called two weeks ago to schedule a reconnect after we moved our gas meter inside to out. Refused to come give any quote prior to the day of. Once here, now without any gas to our house, he says the bill was $2,068! But it gets better we can't reconnect until after a plumbing inspection which was over a week plus out! Wanting to leave us without gas for heating or hot water. He also said he needed to rework all the lines and it would be six plus hours of labor. Thankfully, we called another hvac company who was able to be here within 1.5 hours to reconnect our line for $1,200 and did all the work in two hours! The only thing the are the champions in is screwing customers over once in a corner!

Our bathroom sink had a leak and my handy husband was not able to repair it. We called Boldt Plumbing. Logan was our technician. He arrived on time, which is very important to us. He introduced himself right away and he was very pleasant, easy to talk to and made sure we understood the situation. He was quick, efficient, and seemed very knowledgeable. We were and are very satisfied with his service. If / when we need plumbing services again we will definitely call Boldt. And yes, Logan left our home very clean.

I am writing this review in a bit of disappointment for Matt's Plumbing Solution's.
This review comes from my experience and my brother as well.
I headed a bathroom remodel which was in an older home, 6x8 bath. The initial bid was $5290 to remove a toilet and sink and radiator, replace lead drain pipe and install a shower head line and reinstall the components.
When the tear out was done and ready for plumbing changes, Josh incorrectly measured the drain height to the stack. It was believed that the stack was going to need to be lowered and with a change order, it would cost $3500 more.
When I was upset with these findings, his attitude was very unprofessional - basically stating something along the lines of well I can just wrap up what has been done and you can have someone else do it in a laughing sense.
When you are the customer facing thousands in repair, this is not a joke. You are not making light of my blood pressure at this point.
When the change order came, I never noticed the statement for the drain-line change.
The tub drain ran over to the sink, and then to the stack in series.
So while I didn't notice this in the change order, $2390 of the $3500 was apparently for a 3 foot section of drain removal and replacement. All verbal communication was about a stack-pipe change out. When I proceeded with the work, they then found that they incorrectly measured it, and we would not need to change out the stack.
Great. Moving forward, I had already paid up $4500. By the time all the remodel was at the point of tiling, the tub was not level. I call them up and Josh said he leveled the tub and the tub was not leveled with the room but the world.
I know how to use a level. It was clearly NOT level. He said he was going to swing out to take a look at it, but never did show up. Mind you, I was getting pretty upset with the services by this point anyway because I did not like his attitude.
I moved forward, and once tiling was done, and it came time to put the plumbing back into place, I was told that $3587 was due up front, and $790 after final inspection. RED FLAG -
This difference reflected the shower hardware AND the apparent drain change from the sink and toilet. $2390 for 3 ft of pipe!
All in all the plumbing work would have been $8877 for a 6x8 bath. Outrageous.
So, we spoke about this and I called out on the ridiculousness of the $2390 for 3ft of pipe, which Matt was not being at all forgiving on, and that ended the work with this group. Forced as I was to pay the $2390 difference, I went to town completing the rest of it myself.
I should have listened to my brothers warning.
In his experience, his wife and him had MPS add a water softener system. In which was hooked up completely wrong, failing to separate the softener system from his sprinkler system, and also took all day to do the install...
I really did like Matt, he seems to be a more personable guy, but Josh is unprofessional. They will nickel and dime you, and holy crap do they over charge. Be warned.

My experience was Roto-Rooter was very positive and easy. I had a clogged drain in the furnace room, it overflowed causing damage to carpeting in the adjacent room. The problem was caused by my food disposal unit not chopping the food properly...turns out the unit was broken. The tech spend 20 minutes unclogging the drain in the furnace room, and cleaned up the mess he did not create, from the overflowing water. Removed my broken disposal from the kitchen sink then reattaching all the piping and adding new (I chose not to replace the disposal). Within 20 min I had their Restoration team looking at my ruined carpet in the adjacent room, got a quote, 30 min later a 'clean up' team was dealing with the carpet. Everything got taken care of in a timely manner, the quotes were reasonable (though who hates throwing money at clogged drains). I would used them again.
My only complaint is that on the bill there was a charge for a service that did not happen, SO make sure you check the bill closely.
