Matt and team overcharge (period).  The companies business model is $ over customer satisfaction because of supply and demand.  I paid 4500$ agreeable then they added 600$ bill for a total over 5,000$ for simple pressure tank and blow out!  McCullough's in forest lake and others charge 1500$??  If you want work done and you don't care about personal customer service this may be the company to regret later :-).

Look else where!

My 91 year old mother's outside faucet was leaking water inside her basement. I called this company to do the repairs. They were responsive, however they charged my Mom $1195 for this repair!!! In speaking with other plumbers and friends that have done a repair like this it would be $100 in parts. So that means they charged $1095 to perform the necessary repairs!!! So, that means they charged $500/hour for labor. I feel they took full advantage of an elderly person who had no idea what this repair would/should cost. I would highly recommend that you don't use this company!!!

Beware of this company. Matt's Plumbing billed me for $385 for 20 minutes of time that required no tools. I e-mailed them and requested that they contact me to discuss the over charge and the have completely ignored me. I have reported them the BBB also.

Worst Plumber ever! Came to my house to fix
a water pipe banging problem. Billed me $500
for a water hammer and installation. After he left
the problem continued. He would not re-visit the
problem with out further charges. Had a
professional look at the situation and found out
the problem was due to leaking toilets...which he
fixed for very little cost. That solved the problem.
Shame on you Matt.

Matt is great! Super helpful, responsible and a great problem solver.  He can help with picking out fixtures. Also not as pricey as some of the big name places.

I had a plumbing semi-emergency in the midst of the grief and financial crisis surrounding my husband's death in June. I called Matt's and they were able to make an appointment quickly, but at a time I was not home. I asked them, and they agreed, to call me with a quote before doing any work. I told them we were recently bereaved and in financial crisis. Sadly, they did not call me and talked to my inexperienced son instead.  Charged me $975 to replace two silcocks and two boiler drains. This at a time they knew our world was rocked. I talked to SEVERAL plumbers and contractors and they all told me it could have been done for half or less. I have reached out again and again to them to make this right. One star for doing the work.

I am writing this review in a bit of disappointment for Matt's Plumbing Solution's.
This review comes from my experience and my brother as well.

I headed a bathroom remodel which was in an older home, 6x8 bath. The initial bid was $5290 to remove a toilet and sink and radiator, replace lead drain pipe and install a shower head line and reinstall the components.

When the tear out was done and ready for plumbing changes, Josh incorrectly measured the drain height to the stack. It was believed that the stack was going to need to be lowered and with a change order, it would cost $3500 more.
When I was upset with these findings, his attitude was very unprofessional - basically stating something along the lines of well I can just wrap up what has been done and you can have someone else do it in a laughing sense.

When you are the customer facing thousands in repair, this is not a joke. You are not making light of my blood pressure at this point.

When the change order came, I never noticed the statement for the drain-line change.
The tub drain ran over to the sink, and then to the stack in series.
So while I didn't notice this in the change order,  $2390 of the $3500 was apparently for a 3 foot section of drain removal and replacement. All verbal communication was about a stack-pipe change out. When I proceeded with the work, they then found that they incorrectly measured it, and we would not need to change out the stack.
Great. Moving forward, I had already paid up $4500. By the time all the remodel was at the point of tiling, the tub was not level. I call them up and Josh said he leveled the tub and the tub was not leveled with the room but the world.
I know how to use a level. It was clearly NOT level. He said he was going to swing out to take a look at it, but never did show up. Mind you, I was getting pretty upset with the services by this point anyway because I did not like his attitude.
I moved forward, and once tiling was done, and it came time to put the plumbing back into place, I was told that $3587 was due up front, and $790 after final inspection. RED FLAG -
This difference reflected the shower hardware AND the apparent drain change from the sink and toilet. $2390 for 3 ft of pipe!
All in all the plumbing work would have been $8877 for a 6x8 bath. Outrageous.

So, we spoke about this and I called out on the ridiculousness of the $2390 for 3ft of pipe, which Matt was not being at all forgiving on,  and that ended the work with this group. Forced as I was to pay the $2390 difference, I went to town completing the rest of it myself.

I should have listened to my brothers warning.
In his experience, his wife and him had MPS add a water softener system. In which was hooked up completely wrong, failing to separate the softener system from his sprinkler system, and also took all day to do the install...

I really did like Matt, he seems to be a more personable guy, but Josh is unprofessional. They will nickel and dime you, and holy crap do they over charge. Be warned.
