Best Plumbing Services in Minneapolis, MN
Our sink and tub were totally blocked. Called Mike Justen in the AM and he was here by 11:00 and had everything working properly again in no time at all. Timely response, honest capable and friendly person all at a fair price. Perfect.

I initially loved these guys, but then noticed a pattern of always finding way more problematic and expensive things to fix beyond what they were called for. Last straw was fixing the AC by an extensive and expensive duct work addition, which did exactly NOTHING. Plus they left a dusty mess everywhere. So then they told me I needed to replace entire unit for 12k++. Except the guy I called for a second bid washed the outdoor condenser unit free of grass and dust and 18 mos later still working perfectly. I loved the tech super nice but COME ON!!

We were recommended to Marvel by our realtor, Lindsay Bjerke, and I'm so glad we were!
I got in contact with their team about a sewer relining service and had a quick and thorough quote to us within minutes.
We got a few recommendations and when Marvel wasn't the most affordable bid, they really fought for our business - so much so that a team member called me to talk through what they offer! I was so impressed that we decided to go with them.
They have a team of trained professions, and quick and efficient, offer a warranty/guarantee and take care of the permit.
A few weeks later, we were scheduled! The service took about 5 hours and you can't flush during that time. The team that completed our lining was knowledgeable and professional, and we feel good knowing we're in good hands if anything happens down the road.
After, they sent us our invoice and will have a video to us by morning showing the final product. Highly recommend the Marvel team!

I needed some gas piping done and got one bid for $1100. I called Weld and Sons and got a phone estimate for $900. I knew the bid might be off a bit as it was site-unseen but went with them as they were lower and very friendly and competent on the phone.
The work was well done and on-time.
The bill came to $1900, not $900.
When they were done it was up to me to schedule the inspection even though upon finishing the job, the workers stated that they would probably need a pressure-test. Something they would need to be there for.
I scheduled the inspection and the inspector asked for a pressure test. I had to schedule an additional inspection, coordinating it with Weld and Sons, and it passed without issue.
I then got a $222 bill for the additional inspection. After a few phone calls insisting that the original bill included inspection ( and that they knew this more thorough inspection would be required) they relented and only charged me $77.
The first bill clearly states If additional gas work is required by the inspector - additional charges will apply. There was no more work, they just didn't pass the first inspection. This should be their responsibility.
They did decent work. You can hire them but get the bid in writing and watch out for extra charges. Or find somebody without these issues.

I called Ouverson Sewer & Water in a panic yesterday. The woman who answered the phone listened to my story about another company pressuring me to make a fast decision about two, very expensive repairs.
At first, she told me that they are a small family owned business and that they fit their camera scope appointments in when they could, between other paying appointments. When I called back a half hour later, she spoke to me woman to woman and said it infuriates her to see people trying to take advantage of women and that she was going to make sure that someone would make it to my house that day (yesterday).
The Ouverson Sewer & Water Technician was at my house for maybe 15 mintues total. Within five minutes he had easily pushed his camera through a toilet paper clog that the first company had showed me an insisted was impassable.
Ouverson Sewer & Water charged me nothing, their technician (Matt) showed me that the water was draining through the pipe with ease and potentially saved me $7500 / $8500 that the other company was trying to fleece.
Ouverson Sewer & Water came highly recommended. I hope that you never need them, but if you do, you can bet they will be honest.

I wish we had called metro instead of Deans last year! Mitch came out- on time, having called ahead to let us know he was on the way, and did a great job! He was polite, knowledgeable, and tenacious. He showed me the cause of the issue and gave me prices before proceeding when the first fix wasn't the actual cause of the trouble. We are very pleased with his diligence- it was fixed finally and he had all the supplies in his truck so he didn't have to come back!

They came to install a water pressure reduced in my townhome community. It looks like that went ok cause it seems fine, which is why they get two stars instead of one. While they were there I asked them to install a sink I had bought new in box in the kitchen. They agreed on the price. Install reducer, install sink and a new insinkerator $1025. They said they'd call me if they were going to cut a larger hole in the sink cause the old one's hole was slightly smaller since they were afraid of chipping the counter. Didn't hear from them for a while so contacted them. They did cut and only told me after they did it. Had an RO system hooked up and asked them to remove it and leave it if it was easier. They left all the boxes, old sink, all the garbage and a leaking RO (reverse osmosis) unit on the laminate I just laid down for a remodel. When I texted them back about the garbage they said they'd come back and said they'd get back to me. Just dealt with it myself cause I didn't hear back and wanted it gone. Didn't seal all around the sink, and a part of the hole that they cut is visible outside the sink it's a small detail but important to me cause I've never seen that in anyone else's house. Told them that and that the sink was not quite level. Remedied some of the situations by myself again after telling them about it. They stopped responding. I'll post photos and the text exchange and no response when I get the chance later next week but thought I'd save someone a headache. They seemed to have done great for others.

I received amazing and prompt service for my emergency plumbing call! I had a plumber at my house within a half an hour of my original call. Toilet was so backed up it would not plunge for me and I had sewage backing up into bathtub and shower in a separate bathroom.
Andrew (#2766) was extremely thorough in diagnosing the issue. He removed toilet and snaked out pipe -revealing and resolving issue. I appreciate his shoe covers and floor tarp protection that he used when moving toilet. Andrew explained everything and showed me where the issues were. He told me how to prevent future problems and things to watch for.
Andrew called in Brian ( #1326) from their restoration team to check for water in my main floor ceiling. We had heard dripping and I was concerned about water damage. Brian was here within 20 minutes. No charge for this assessment service! Again, good information and explanation! Fortunately, no water concern in my ceiling!!
I have worked with a variety of plumbing services over the years. Roto-Rooter is by far my best experience!

It is the worst feeling in the world to walk into your basement and to be in standing water from your main drain backing up. We called Discount Plumbing for the first time and wow were we ever impressed! They were able to come immediately! They were more affordable than anyone else and that didn't mean sacrificing professionalism and knowledge to have an affordable service provided! Cory was our technician and he was so kind, professional, and knowledgeable. I cannot recommend Discount plumbing enough! We will definitely be calling them again in the future. It puts your mind at ease knowing you have a good plumber in your back pocket. Especially when you own an old home. Thank you!

I seriously wonder if the negative reviewers are talking about the same service. Eric was prompt, pleasant, SUPER respectful and responsible about COVID compliance (wore a mask, stayed 6 ft apart, washed hands etc), explained all the issues well, and in the course of our discussion about my home's many plumbing problems (observable with my own eyes), he recommended a few things regarding a kitchen renovation I was planning that saved me $$$. He also showed me how to do some basic maintenance so I wouldn't have to call him for a minor recurring issue. I was so pleased with his work on a bunch of annoying small repair jobs, that I have brought him back for multiple larger plumbing jobs.
My house had BAD plumbing when I bought it -- like multiple elements only held together with tape. Shortly after I moved in, I discovered one toilet mechanism was held together with duct tape. Later, when I got a new dishwasher, I discovered my dishwasher drain hose was held to the main drain stack with electrical tape and it had been causing a slow leak under my floating floor (if I hadn't upgraded my dishwasher it could have been years before I discovered this since it was hidden). I actually ended up paying for a second home inspection after finding this many instances of tape used for plumbing after I moved in, because they were not noted in my original home inspection (I'm going to do a brief side plug for StructureTech the best home inspectors who found all kinds of things I wish I'd known when I bought, I will never use another home inspector again in this state). It's pretty depressing to buy a new house and discover someone did a shockingly shoddy job with the plumbing. I fully trust Eric to steer me in the right direction and to talk me through my options - pros/cons/cost. At this point, over the year, he's fixed multiple issues such as small leaks and running toilets (I can repair a basic running toilet but these were more complicated), installed a new water heater, installed a new sink faucet and garbage disposal, hooked up my new refrigerator's water line. My sewer line backed up and when he was unable to come to the emergency, he recommended another company who could do the job for a reasonable price quickly. I have never felt 'upsold' or like he was unwilling to do a smaller job either (which I can't say about other repairs on my house).
Because so much work had to be done on this house, I got estimates on a few things from other plumbers, and I felt Eric was usually cheaper or on par with the other services while being more pleasant/respectful and providing better service. I had one service be pretty rude to me as woman, quote me an outrageous sum, and indicate they would nickel and dime every little thing. No thanks!
I also want to say having someone who takes COVID prevention seriously is a big stress reliever. Eric always worse a K95 high filtration mask, didn't touch his mask, didn't take it off, didn't have to be nagged about things, unlike some people I've had show up at my house without even bringing a mask.
Highly recommend.

Mike installed our disposal that we bought from Costco. He ran the disposal numerous times before leaving our house.
Thought he was concerned about something but he said everything is good. Lifted at that.
Next day ran the disposal and it has a sharp noise when switch is turned on. And sometimes a flash comes from switches.
Called Mike and his response was- fetter call the manufacturer. I didn't do anything wrong.
Well Mike. Nice customer service.

Would not recommend this company to even my worst Enemy. They are nothing more than rip off artist. Had a technician (used VERY loosely) come out and explain that our a/c unit was going to need some major parts replaced at an exorbitant amount of money $3000 or in his opinion to just replace the whole system for a mere $1000 more. Happen to get a second opinion on the matter and low and behold for less than the cost of these con-artists to come out and describe all the things wrong with my a/c unit we are up and running cool and comfortable. I did contact Alex and then also spoke to Greg to allow them to make this right. They chose not to even attempt to make this right. I would RUN from this company there are so many more out there that are better and that are actually TRUSTWORTHY. They will belittle you, talk down to you and this basically explains how they do business.

Selling my house and buyer requested a furnace tune up. Per ServiceToday's website will also conduct any necessary parts cleaning and/or minor repairs, test for carbon monoxide, and do a full check of all safety controls They failed to do that so I called and talked to Christi on the phone and they said those can be done at an additional charge usually. I was not made aware of this at all. I thought the $79 tune up was for everything. They also told me I had a cracked heater exchange via a remote controlled camera. I had another Company come out a couple hours later determine that my heat Exchange was not cracked. I showed them what ServiceToday showed me was a crack and they actually removed parts of my furnace to get an eye view and determined there was no crack and then also did a C02 combustion test which came back clean. I asked Christi why they did not perform a C02 test to assure the crack was there and she gave me an excuse that they see anything they red tag it and tell me to replace my furnace. After looking at other reviews this seems to be a common practice with them to get more business. Run as fast as you can from these scam artists. I will be disputing my charge on the my credit card and recommend everyone else to avoid them.

Full disclosure Sabre advertises on our podcast and that's one of the reasons we started using them. Our previous hvac co couldn't figure out what was wrong with our furnace and kept wanting to put in s new system. Sabre fixed our furnace and we didn't have to install a new system! They do a great job and come out promptly. Highly recommend.

These guys certainly know what they are doing - without a doubt. I was happy with the analysis, and the work that was performed. I think my problem is fixed. The issue I have: I was overcharged. I paid $495 to have a capacitor installed ($10 at Home Depot), and a heat sensor installed (another $10 at Home Depot). I understand they had to run some tests, etc., and that a person has to make a living, but what I paid for these materials and services was extremely steep for an analysis and 2-1/2 hours of work (we can debate whether the job needed to take 2-1/2 hours). Even still, $235 an hour after subtracting $20 for parts and a simple installation is borderline ridiculous. Will I call them again? No. I will, however, do my homework before hiring anyone to do work at my home. Lesson learned: Don't trust anyone. Even nice people hired for repair work. It's the world we live in...
Two stars: only because they knew what they were doing and were able to come to my house, same day. Otherwise, I'm disappointed.
Update: I see Tiger issued a response to my post. Tiger seems to suggest premium parts were used, therefore, the cost is reasonable. Really? Come on, we are talking about $10 parts! A condnser is a condenser is a condenser, and a sensor is a sensor is a sensor. I'm thinking the public is much more savvy and can spot a fluff response from a service provider a mile away.
The only thing that came at a premium was the bill! Bottom line: Tiger is good, but charges way too much . . .

I think it is terrible they don't tell you on the phone they charge to come out and give you an estimate 95.00 dollars. Every plumber I have had in the past gave a free estimate. For that reason I won't use them. They should tell you before they come out not while they are already here!
