Greg came by the next day after i called him ,,as i had a minor leak on a Kitchen Faucet , that was in my Townhouse here in Apple Valley....the Faucet was 19 years old....He replaced my two supply stop valves ( hot and cold) so that we could actually use the shutoffs( they were frozen and un-useable) !! I bought a Delta Kitchen Faucet, the Greydon Pull down, TOUCH type faucet-AA battery operated....Greg did a wonderful job and took his time, and is super friendly, and NOT in a Hurry at all....he made sure that there were no leaks prior to leaving,,and i will definitely use him in the future, vs my old standby Genz Ryan, as They are approx. twice the money for the same work....LOVE Apple Valley Plumbing Co...and wont use anyone else in the Future !! thanks Greg !!!! We have used Madetzke and Gust three times. We have had a tankless water heater, new sink, new water shutoff, ice maker line, and gas stove. Amazing service. Always on budget. Curious. I would and do recommend to everyone. If you need a plumber look no further.

Lange's Plumbing & Heating have provided us with superior service for years. Jim and his crew have been quick to respond to our needs, efficient in their work and always priced fairly. It would be easy to take advantage when there is no heat in the middle of a cold Minnesota winter or suddenly you find your hot water heater has failed........they simply respond like professionals.
Fast, fair, friendly and with the quality workmanship we need. For us it is Lange's Plumbing and Heating!

Friendly and informative on the phone in helping me to select disposer. Plumber came when promised. He too was friendly and competent. Cleaned up after his install. This is a multi-generation family business, and I appreciate that.

John showed up within the time window I was given, wore a mask, and did the work with zero issues. They also quoted me a price over the phone which was very reasonable and charged me that exact amount when they finished. Very happy with them and I highly recommend.

Our long time home gave us a nasty surprise when our sewer line broke (due to old age?). I spoke to Ron and Kevin, and they told me what I was getting into for cost on the project. While no one that I know budgets for a sewer surprise, the cost was reasonable for the work. The day the work was done, I tagged along with the crew just to see the whole repair happen. Everyone was a good sport -- truly great guys -- and they had the repair done and the street back to normal within 4 or 5 hours. The final cost matched the bid, and Ron even made extra stops to repair the sewer cap inside the house. A great experience for a situation we weren't anticipating.

The technician, Justin, was great. Personable, knowledgeable. However, I was told someone would be out last Friday between 8am and 4pm. No one showed up, no one called until today about 30 minutes before Justin showed up.

Take a look at Michael S's review of Aqua City Plumbing. Mine is VERY similar. This took place when my daughter and I both lived in Minneapolis (a few years ago).
Aqua City Plumbing (and Dave the owner in particular) is a classic example of a business that takes advantage of people who need plumbing work done NOW, and who trust that they will get an honest and competitive price. Not the case with this company. Others have noted that Aqua City will NEVER give an estimate over the phone (not even a rough ballpark figure). And they charge about $79 just to come out to give an estimate. What kind of business is that? But people who have an Aqua City magnet on their refrigerator or phone book (like my daughter) still fall for this scam. In my daughter's case, they came out and gave her a $700+ estimate to replace two shutoff valves on either side of the water meter. She didn't know how much work was involved, and one valve connection was dripping on the basement carpet, so she accepted. The work took about 1.5 hours. I called later to complain about the outrageous charge, and I told Dave that the valves cost no more than $20 each. I asked him how he came up with the $700+ price, and he basically told me that it was none of my business. He said that my daughter accepted his price quote, so he did nothing wrong. I told him he took advantage of her trust, her lack of plumbing knowledge, and her desperation to get the leak fixed. I also told him I contacted two other plumbers, and they DID give me an estimate over the phone. Both estimates were between $200 and $300. My message: Check out reviews before choosing a plumber, and don't just refer to the magnet on your refrigerator. If my daughter would have done this, she would not have called Aqua City Plumbing to begin with.

I have mixed feelings about Ike's, the gentleman we've had to our house twice was more than kind, professional, and explained everything that he was doing. However, he didn't really get to the route of our issue and when we notified them they were a less than professional with us.

Barnes Plumbing was recommended to me by a Facebook friend. I hadn't used my shower for over a year because of a leak in the pipe inside the wall. The technician (unfortunately I can't remember his name) came all the way to my house in the western suburbs. After checking and testing everything there was no leak! Apparently sometimes this happens, maybe a piece of rust or sediment blocks what was obviously a small leak. He recommended placing a water alarm near the pipe so we would know right away if it leaked again. Very friendly and professional.
Best of all, when asked how much I owed him, expecting to pay for his time and all that travel, he told me nothing! He didn't do any work so I didn't owe any money. I was shocked, I've always paid for service calls in the past even if I didn't have work done.
Highly recommend. Superior service.

HORRIBLE. The guy they sent out Dave didn't figure out where the leak was and decided to just leave and expected me to pay when he busted the wall and did NOTHING to fix the leak. Do NOT hire these people. VERY DISHONEST.

Several friends recommended Dad's. A toilet in my house was running on and the shutoff valve at the wall was stuck, so the only way I could keep it from running was to shut off the water supply to the whole house! Pretty inconvenient. Within hours of my call Dad's sent out a couple of guys who replaced the warped flapper that was causing the leak, and also fixed the line to a bidet attachment in another bathroom that hadn't been working right.
There is something weird about their phone. They list two numbers on their website. I can't remember which one worked, but the first one I tried went to some weird answering system that wanted me to jump through hoops to reach them. I hung up and tried the second number and got through right away. So have a bit of patience, try both numbers, and you'll get good service.

I called to find out why they never came out like they promised after getting my furnace and A/C put in. They said they would come out in the Spring to check on things. That never happened. They said they would contact me. It never happened. I can't recommend them as they will not come out even after I called them years later to make good on their promise. The lady I talked to said they came out and they never did. No proof of any kind. Now they say it's too late. Wow!

No idea of the quality of this service as they never showed up for my scheduled tune up appointment. I waited over 2 weeks for an appointment and when the person didn't show up I called them. First I was told I had the wrong date. I did not have the wrong date. They called me back and said they had to reschedule my appointment but had FORGOTTEN TO CALL ME. We had cleaned out the furnace room and were awaiting the results of the inspection to determine if we could do another home improvement or if we'd need a new furnace in the near future. They REALLY caused problems for us by doing this! I wouldn't waste my time with this company as they are obviously unreliable and have little concern for anyone's schedule other than their own. There are better providers out there who will put their customers first.

Made an appointment with this company the said they were booked out for 11 days. Jim Anderson called way past his appointment time of 8 AM at 10:30 am saying he was having trouble with his truck and he would be here in a hour. Jim arrived around noon and he says he needed a longer hose and a permit from the city and that he would be back this afternoon. Jim never came back or called .So I Called the city and he hadn't got the permit or every been there. I left a message for him after 4 pm and he never called back. Jim finally calls the next day and says his pump is broke and he would call when it was fixed. I told him no thanks and we would find someone else. We called a different sewer Co. and they came out the day same.
