Mike the plumber was introduced to me by one of the other workers at my new property in Saint Clair Shores. Mike helped install my new water heater in my basement and then assisted with a few other projects around my house. Mike was very knowledgeable and helpful so I had him come back and do pretty much all teh plumbing work throughout the whole house. I save a ton of money by using Mike's Pipes and the workmanship is as good as it gets.

I have called this business twice to get work done. They are definitely my go to! They suggested 2 brands for new faucets, both come with a guarantee and free replacement parts! A leak was repaired, as well as a kitchen flood! They provided me with the requested paperwork for my insurance company, quickly.
Their work is effective & efficient. They were also a little flexible with my work schedule. I still need a quote to replace my sink, but the work they did was great!

I called Best Plumbing at 1:10 PM on a Saturday. The guys were out here within twenty minutes. They were friendly and professional and before I knew it the problem was taken care of. The charge was very reasonable, especially for a weekend. I plan on calling them for any problems in the future, as well as yearly maintenance. Thanks, guys.

I have used Gary for years now from everything to installing the water line in my new fridge to replacing toilets and shower cartridges. He even helped me winterize my house one year when I moved for a few months during the winter. He is extremely reasonable and outstanding at what he does. I would never use another plumber. Today he came to my home first thing and stood by his warranty on a toilet. No charge to me at all. Gary is one of the only people I would give a stellar rating to because he is that good. It's funny the a man of professional standards, would come at me with such hostile feed back, truth is I don't drink, and the cans in the yard were left by your staff. We waited for you to be done with the job ( which to this date still ain't done). As for the camper I was living in well we where waiting for you to finish the job so we can move into the house. So as much as you wish to come cross at me let's just say all mine are facts and just like you said when the property was stolen, your not liable for your guys. Well I know in my business I'm responsible for anything that happens during my services on the property this includes my staff. So say what you will you started this job mid summer and here we are in the winter and still no bathroom. We have had to move into other arrangements till spring because of your abilities to leave a job unfinished, as for you claiming to spend more time with my spouse while you sir are married, well look out guys he doesn't care about vows. Some people just don't know what doing good business is.

Pricing is outrageously high and unfair!! Had a technician come out to my house to unfreeze my kitchen sink pipes. He told me it would be $585 for the first 2 hours of work, and $350 for every additional hour.. I agreed to the terms, however the tech was only there for 30 minutes as he resolved the issue. He then asked me how I was going to pay for the $585. I asked why it was still the full amount if he was only there for 30 minutes?? He wasn't budging and said that the price is set per job, not by the hour, so that I save money. Well, I can tell you that I certainly didn't save any money. By that math, they charged me over $1,100/hr. This is completely unethical of this company to charge that way. There should be a proration if the technician did not take the full 2 hours to complete the job. I can understand if the tech took the full 2 hours, but he didn't. I then called the company to explain why I feel this was unfair for the amount of work/effort that was completed. They told me that a supervisor would call me back that same day to try and resolve my concern. I never heard back that day. I called back the next day to follow up and they said the supervisor was on the phone and he'd call me back. It's now been 4 days and I have yet to hear back from them.. I will never use this company again and urge all consumers to stay away!

We called Paul Scott plumbing based on a friends referral. We had water back up in our basement in Berkley. Every year we need to have our drains snaked and we were a few months late on getting it done, so we had back up through our floor drains. They came out and said they could only get 30 feet out and did not know why and gave us a quote for thousands of dollars to have an outside clean out put in because they said that is more convenient for them. They charged us more than what we thought we were going to be paying and they did not even complete the job. Me and my husband both tried calling multiple times to speak with someone about our experience. They said only the guy who came out to do the job could speak to us and that he would call us. He never called us back. This past Christmas weekend we had water back up again through our drains. We had a different company come out and snake our drains. They had no problem getting through and opening up our drains and they charged less than Paul Scott. I am very upset the way we were treated by Paul Scott and I think they were only after money. We are a young couple and I hate to say I think we were being taken advance of. Do not recommend Paul Scott Plumbing.

I've been working with MTP on a service request through my warranty company since June (it's now September). It's been a back and forth battle between the two to get a camera approved to diagnose an issue. I called MTP today to let them know the latest after talking with my warranty company.
What do they tell me? Oh, our camera broke and we no longer have it, so you should contact your warranty company and have them assign the ticket to someone else. Talk about a slap in the face, especially after working with them since June to get this camera approved.
And on top of that, they keep telling me the camera is never going to be approved. Why do they care...that's my issue with my warranty company. But to just tell me oh by the way, our camera broke, so have your company assign the ticket to someone else...what a way to wipe your hands clean of the whole situation. Customer service at it's worst.
