I have been buying properties for 17 years and Michael accomplished what few other plumbers will even attempt. he was referred to me from a friend in common and went and looked at my clogged drain the same day. I had six inches of water in the basement AND my stairs to the basement collapsed from the previous plumber who attempted it and broke them with his heavy equipment. Mike went the same day, got his equipment down there and worked on the drain until he got it freed up. excellent communication. great pricing and incredible service. thanks Mike. I appreciate the excellent service.

Another reason to go with Aaron Swift Plumbing ... apparently I over paid my bill by $100 and they mailed me a check. I would of never known. Thanks!

Have used them three times for different situations. They have always responded quickly and taken care of the problem at a reasonable price.

I called Nelson Brothers amongst a few other plumbers before making my decision on who to go to. A lady named Jennifer picked up initially was very helpful in addressing my questions and scheduling my service appointment for the next day. Rob called me the next day within the time range specified by Jennifer the day before and told me that he would be there shortly. I, however was still at work and could not be at the house at his specified time. Rob was very considerate of my time and told me that he would wait for me which was about 2 hours. When I arrived home, Rob went straight to work and explained everything he was doing, why he was doing it and answered any questions I had. Rob was very polite, friendly, and knowledeable. In the end, Rob fixed my clogged drain in no time, gave me some advice and went along his way. Thank you Rob! I highly recommend Nelson Bros. A+ in service!

I have used this company often for 2 different houses, and many different jobs. They are polite and friendly, and hard working. I would also like to say that they are perfectionists. ..do it right the first time, so no problems in the future. I've had pipes replaced, furnace fixed, wash basins replaced and bathrooms fixed and or redone. I would highly recommend them! Reasonable pricing compared to other companies.

Woke up to flooded basement. Went on Yelp and Allied came up. They came within 20 min. of the call, 40 minutes later after cleaning the main, flood was gone! Great service fair price and I would highly recommend them to anyone who likes good quality and efficient service at a good price! 5 stars!!!!!

Leo and his crew updated the old galvanized plumbing in my home. As a young, first-time home buyer, this was a big expense but the outcome was great. The water pressure issue was resolved! Excellent work. Many other contractors and the City Inspector complimented the quality of the work. Very pleased.

Tried to price gouge me last Saturday on a water heater malfunction that they installed 7 months ago. Said I needed a thermocoupler but the pilot tube was actually cracked. I needed a whole new water heater which was warrantied by the manufacturer but I had to have another plumber come out because this plumber left because I wouldn't pay him 400 dollars to install a new thermocoupler. Not professional, safe, or customer service oriented. Note the plumber just called concerning this review. He called my husband a liar and threatened to come over to our house because he only lives a couple blocks away to kick my b@@ch a$$ husband's butt. Very unprofessional and threatening

It saddens me to be giving this company a 2-star rating. This was my experience.
I needed an electrician to remove a wall fan, venting my kitchen to the outside. I yelped an electrician, and got 5 added quotes from Yelp. Darin, the owner of Burton HVAC, was the very first response, and he gave me a low-ball quote of $85 fixed rate.
Well, they weren't rated on yelp, and had zero reviews. Their page said they had been in business for 19 years, and had electricians on staff, among others, so I decided to try googling the company to see if I could find anything else out about them. They had 5 5-star ratings on google. This being said, I assumed they were trying to increase their presence on yelp, by taking a loss on a few projects in order to get some 5-star reviews here. So, I decided to give them a try.
I called the number given in Darin's response, only to be met with Hello. It took me aback, and I had to ask twice if I was reaching Burton HVAC. I was, and Darin said he could come straight over! Unfortunately, it was a Wednesday or Thursday when I called, and I told him I would not be available until the following week. He could choose his date and time to visit, but it couldn't be Monday. Darin told me Tuesday at 1pm would work for him, so I put his visit on my calendar. He also asked me to text him my name, address, and the time and date of the appointment so he could add it to his calendar later.
On Monday, I received an invoice via text for the services he was going to provide. I've never been billed before meeting the service provider before. And on Tuesday at 11:47am, I received a text message saying that my appointment at 1pm was 'coming up'.
At 1pm, my son took our dog and left the house for an hour trying to get him out of the way during the service call. No one had arrived at that point. At 2pm, my son came home from lunch with our dog, and was surprised to see the fan still in the wall. I had not received a phone call or any communication from Burton HVAC at this point.
I texted Darin and said Weren't you supposed to be at my house at 1pm today? His response was Yes I was sending a technician your way and he should have been there at 1:00, let me see what's going on.
Darin called me 10 minutes later to tell me his technician was working on a job that was running over, and he still needed to do another job after that before he could see me! He then stated that he would just come over himself to do the work. I said that would be fine, and then he told me that it would be another 2 to 4 hours before he could make it to my house. I clarified with him that it meant he would be arriving at my house sometime between 4pm and 6pm. Darin then asked if I would like to be kept in the loop, and I told him Yes! Please let me know what is going on.
Well, 4pm came and went, 5pm came and went, and 6pm came and went, and STILL no contact from Darin or anyone at Burton HVAC.
At 6:24pm Darin texted. It read Okay if it's not too late I'll be heading your way. That will put me there at about 7:30
My husband was home, and was definitely not happy with the way things were going, but at that point I just wanted the work done. I was not confident that the guy would be able to be on time on any other day, and I didn't want to waste another 7 or 8 hours waiting again, so I told him We'll be here. And he responded with On my way!
Well, as you can guess, 7:30pm came and went without word from Darin. At 8:04pm, Darin texted I'm about 5 minutes away. He arrived by about 8:15pm... for a 1pm appointment.
Darin and his co-worker were very nice. They were obviously having a long day, but still trying to do the best job they could. I realized after they arrived that (I'm 99.9% sure) neither one of them were electricians.
They worked really hard to remove the fan from the wall of my house. It was in there good. Then, they just cut and capped the live electrical wires and dropped them in the wall of my house! An electrician would have known that doing that is a violation of building codes. My husband knew it, but at the time, I did not.
Anyway, the two gentlemen both worked hard while at my house. The fan is removed. They even put a towel in the hole and taped a bag over the opening to keep bugs, etc. out until we can have the gap sealed properly.
After they left, I returned a microwave cart to the area below the fan, and plugged it into the electrical receptacle there. After their visit, there is now no power to that receptacle. We now need to have another electrician come out to properly remove the electrical wires in the wall and fix the outlet for our microwave.
I feel Darin bit off more than he could chew with my job. He needed to send an electrician & if one wasn't available, he should have rescheduled. Or perhaps he should have never quoted my job in the first place.

I feel sorry for anyone who deals with this company of bandits. My nephew had his inducer motor go out last week in the sub zero weather and made the mistake of calling this company to repair the furnace. I feel that this company took advantage of him because of the cold temperature (-5 degrees). They charged him a service call of $65.00 that is about average and no complaint, but the inducer motor that was online for $325.00 at more then one website. Thornton and Grooms charged him a total of $900.00, he was at work so the next day he called them to question the bill and they said it was correct. And tried to sell him a service plan so he can save money in the future, Buyer Beware

These guys are a joke. Sent two plumbers at two different times to fix two sinks, a toilet and shower faucet. One gave me a quote and left. The other was a boy that obviously couldn't do a mans job who left saying that he would get back to me. Nothing, left me hanging. The woman who answers the phone told me they didn't want to do the job. DJ Murray is a joke and clearly not plumbers. Don't waste your time.

I just called to get someone to come out and look at my AC unit and was told to call back in the morning to schedule an appointment. My question is why have a call center if they don't have the power to schedule an appoint to have someone come out in the morning? Not good at all!!!!

He is a better lawyer than plumber. I know this because after he flooded my house he threatened to sue me when I wouldn't pay his bill. His insurance covered about half the damage costing me thousands and his bill was a few hundred. Then he liened my house and left me powerless. Also, he operates under a couple of names and locations so he is impossible to track down. His name isn't Al by the way.

i work for a different plumbing company. had a run in with one of your guys. very cocky and looked to have took the job we were hired to do, caused from customer confusion. very bad buisness practice. would not recomend.

Does not seem like the person who answered the call is interested in coming out to do the work if it's after 5.

They should not be billing themselves as any type of handyman service or contractor. Their work is unprofessional and substandard. They left the job site and absolute mess, our entire house covered in dust, with wet mud still dripping from corners and ceilings, and having sanded through their own mudding to drywall tape. They should be ashamed to even suggest that they know how to do drywall or mudding.
