FPU came out to my house twice to fix a couple of leaky sinks. They responded to my request for a quote through Yelp within an hour, had a plumber out the very next day. Wade was prompt, friendly, and professional. Both jobs cost exactly what they quoted, not a penny more. I am sure their other plumbers are great, but I'll always request Wade, he is great. I'll use this company for my plumbing needs as long as I live in Lakeland.

The guys are awesome.  Mike came over late Friday afternoon to do an install.  He was professional and worked late to get the job done.

I had a potentially warrantable problem with a leaking pipe. The company that supplies the ingredients for the CPVC pipe manufacturers gave me 2 licensed plumbing companies in Orlando.
I'm sure glad I chose Belzer Plumbing to help me out. Every step was a breeze communicating with this company. Rosin called me back promptly, and I was able to speak with the Service Manager (Ray Belzer) directly due to the complex nature of the problem I had.
My appointment was less than 48 hours later.
I was hopeful for a good technician to do the job. I didn't get a good one, I got an outstanding one. Rob Singer was/is on point with his expertise in the industry. After a brief discussion, he evaluated my problem, recommended the remedy, and after waiting for the piping adhesive to cure on the pipe joints, counselled me on the existing CPVC in my house.
I will recommend Belzer Plumbing and Rob Singer without reservation.

Called them up to help my elderly parents install some sinks. They were blown away at how helpful, personal, and thorough the person that came out was. They treated my folks like family, and I would recommend them to anyone.

No Pete, I WOULD avoid...

On Tuesday when I turned on the water faucet in the kitchen I heard a loud noise and I opened the cabinet under the sink and we had the Niagara Falls of leaks. The filter broke and the water was gushing all over the kitchen and into the dining room and when I opened the door to the garage the water went out there as well. I started to frantically call plumbers and DeWitt was I think the 3rd or 4th plumber I tried to call. He asked me to text my address and he would come right out. This was around 4:30pm when most plumbers are finishing for the day. Thankfully one of our neighbors was able to come out who used to do maintenance where we live and he was able to shut off our water by the meter. When the plumber came he was pretty shocked as to how bad it was and he saw that the filter was cracked and said he could fix it immediately for $100. Deal! He fixed it promptly and also got in touch with a restoration crew who came out that day and helped set us up with fans and moving everything out of the way until 10:30pm. Very nice guys. The plumber also said we needed 4 new valves before those go bad and that he could return the next morning around 8:30am. Around 8:30am the next morning he called us from Home Depot and had the valves and came over and charged around $65 for each valve. He was very kind and he came right away even at the end of a business day and helped us so much. This was so stressful as my mom had only been out of the hospital for just over a week and it's one thing after another. He is a new plumber here and a very nice young man and i recommend him to all in the NSB area. He went above and beyond I think especially the first day when most plumbers charge a $75 flat fee just to show up to the door. We will definitely use him again!!!!

We called late at night and got an answer right away. Since it wasn't an emergency, we scheduled for the next morning.

It's rare that a company answers their phone on the first attempt to contact and schedules right away. Great service!

This company was supposed to call me within 24hrs because they were assigned by my home warranty company and 3 days later I still haven't heard from them. I tried calling them several times and just got voicemail but the inbox was full. Evidently they are ignoring calls.

DO NOT use this company.  They do not show up when scheduled and do not call to let you know that you know that they will not be coming. We had to call them to find out that the technician was not in and that they would not be coming out.  We were told that they would be out the next day at 9 am.  They did not show up until almost 12 pm.  They never communicated anything while they were here and left without saying a word.  Two days later, they came back and finished the drain field and then the main office started blowing up our phones for the final payment.  There was a dispute over what amount was owed, and the billing office was very rude and uncourteous.  We finally spoke with the salesman and he verified that the amount that we said we owed was correct.  No one ever apologized.  I would never recommend this company to anyone.  STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!

Jesus, just spoke to a man who is the owner of the business??? So rude!  There was nobody answering the phone and once the phone went through, I was told don't call again and again!! we can't answer your call!. OMG, never heard anyone telling customers never call!  Also their prices are outrageously expensive: $159 for installing a dishwasher? $139 for installing bathroom sink faucet?  Wow, am I a gold mine he thinks??!!

Mr. Smith not only did not complete the construction job for which he was contracted on my house, he signed a document that he would complete the job or give up all profit on the job if he did not finish the job. He was given an advance payment of $5000 based on this assurance to cover his shortfall in materials to complete the job.  He subsequently walked off the job and attempted to file a false lien on the job, which caused me significant issues in refinancing, but was cleared because it was untrue. He then changed the name of his business in an attempt to avoid the ramifications of his unprofessional actions. He did not respond as required to filing debt claims during the closing of his business. Although he may no longer be on Angie's list, we originally got his name from that service and no longer use it because of Mr. Smith's poor and unprofessional performance.  As part of the bathroom modification an expensive controller under his control and accountability went missing.  I determined later that he incorrectly powered the controller via extension cords. To this day, I don't know whether he damaged it by this action and then tossed it to cover his actions or whether he took other actions with it to disrupt my ability to complete the job. I do know that I had to go through great difficulty and expense to obtain another controller and finish the job. Mr. Smith also returned expensive marble slab I already paid for and kept the proceeds which were not his. On at least one occasion he launched his boat on the private lake behind our house without permission and fished with a friend when he was billing us for work on the house.  He did this at a time in which he was significantly behind schedule on the job.  The end date had to be extended several times because of his poor performance, almost causing me to lose the bank financing. I recommend anyone considering the use of this or any contractor check the FL DBPR records prior to signing any contract. I believe this job was above his ability and instead of doing the right thing by the customer and seeking help from the OEM, he chose to give the appearance of completing large proportion of the easy work and abandoning the most critical and valuable work.  This caused us great harm and expense. We completed the work with some of the same sub-contractors he used, even though he attempted to turn them away from the work. I will never use Total Plumbing and Construction I, II, or any other number he chooses to file his next business under.  Ask yourself why he would close a business and open an identical business with a similar name?

I would give the father a 5 star rating, but the grandfather and grandson a zero. I had a back up drain, the son shows up and could not finish the job, due to he didn't have the proper equipment. So he said and i quote i be back tomorrow and no charge for the second visit. the next day, he change his mind and charge me! What can i do my drain was clogged and couldn't use my bathroom. never called them again, too bad i used them a lot and use to recommend them to everyone, but now forget about it!

You call, leave a voicemail, he won't call back. This guy was contracted by my home builder to do the plumbing in our new home, and we've had three issues in the 2.5 years we've lived here. Of the three times, he called us back ONCE to tell us he couldn't do anything. The other two times, he didn't bother to call back at all.

This company is always responsive to my phones call and shows up during the scheduled arrival windows. However, I recently had them replace a solar water heater that was leaking for approximately $1800. After their install the solar portion of my system stopped working. I contacted the company and asked them to come take a look as this was well within their 30 day labor warranty window. I was told by an employee that they did not have solar techs and I should contact a company that did. (They specifically referenced a sticker that was moved from the old tank to the new one and was for the plumber that originally installed the system.) So, I contacted another company with solar techs and had them come out. Per their investigation, when my solar water heater was replaced, the tank temperature sensor for the solar system was not switched to the new tank. The new company charged my $160 ($95 for the service and $65 for the part). I contacted Paul Wilson Plumbing and explained what had caused the issue, asking if they would reimburse the cost since the problem resulted from their error. The representative said they would speak with the owner. A few weeks later, I was emailed and told that I should have called them before seeking a third party. So my contention is this: (1) I should have been told that they did not have solar techs at the time I requested to have my solar water heater replaced. (2) The reason for their refusal to reimburse the cost directly contradicts what occurred when I first reported the problem to them.

I have used Service One several timesal times in the past.  Generally speaking they were responsive, repaired my AC and cost was as expected.   I contacted them directly for a quote on repairing 2 toilets.  Tech came and actively sought to build up the bill.   Final quote was $750.  I thought this was exhorbitant and declined.  Paid them $49 trip charge.

Tech was rude when I declined.

Service One responded here to Yelp.  Declined.

Went to Home Depot and purchased 2 Glacier Bay double flush elongated toilets on sale at $99 each!!  Hired a handyman and paid $160 to install

I normally don't write reviews and if I do then majority of time are good rewievs. This one took everything out of me. I called and asked if they do estimates for plumbing. The ladys ( never gave me her name) responds was that they are very busy for the next few weeks ( understandable) and they are short handed because nobody wants a job. My respond was ( in a funny way) wow really? And she said yeah in a really nasty tone. Before I could say anything , for example, that I can wait and call back for an appointment because I was not really in a hurry , she hung up the phone. When I tried to call back the phone was ringing forever and went to voicemail. I will not recommend this company to any of my friends
