ABOUT BUSINESS OWNER


Clear Flow's founder has been working in the Septic industry for many years. During his time working with the other septic companies he mastered the ability to solve most septic system problems at a minimal cost. The employers would charge the customers 4 or 5 times the actual cost, paying the technician that actually did the work pennies on the dollar and pocketing the rest. That's when he made the decision to open his own company with the intentions of providing excellent customer service, quality work at a reasonable price.

This company is horrible. I called and set up an appt during the week and when the day came I was waiting on them the whole day. I end up calling and they said that I didnt have an appt and they mistook me for another customer. So they said they would come the next day. So I am waiting again for a few hours and end up calling the lady in the office, Amber tells me that the owner said he doesnt service the area and there would be a fuel surcharge and thought we wouldnt pay it so she took us off the schedule. She was real rude and unprofessional and the supervisor got on the phone and made excuses for her saying she is having a bad day. So I have lost two days of getting my septic pumped out instead of calling someone else.

TLDR; Terrible customer service, no follow up communication, rude and dismissive admin. Not interested in helping you diagnose an issue or repair/replace what's broken unless you want to pay for a completely new system you don't actually need.

I very rarely write reviews but in this case feel my neighbors and potential customers should be warned. I contacted Clear Flow 3 weeks ago after a neighbor recommended the company's septic services with a recurring issue I had with float switches failing after about 2 years and needing replacement. The nice admin who took my call could not provide a price for a new float switch over the phone and insisted that she would have a contractor in my area come out for a free quote the next day. Got a confirmation text that someone would be there by 9am and they showed up after 3pm. Charged me $175 for a service call and spent about 10 minutes putting the tank alert and float switch cables into some pvc. The breaker continued to trip as it has in the past when the float switch went bad so I called back for help. The admin offered to send someone back to investigate since I had already paid for a service call and the tech did not as far as I know diagnose the issue. No one called or showed up. Another week goes by and I call again early this time and spoke to Shaun who said a tech in my area would call within 45 min. No one called or showed up again. I call back the next morning at 9am and speak to admin asking if someone was coming out today and explained that no one has come since the first appt 3 weeks ago and I'm still having issues. She sounds flustered and impatient and says she is just getting in so needs to log into her systems. Puts me on a brief hold and comes back as the rudest admin I've ever spoken to telling me somehow this is my fault even though she realized no one ever sent me a quote for repair or recommendation for resolution to my recurring issue.  They send me a $895 quote for a brand new pump when my pump still works and in the past it has cost less than $200 with other septic companies to replace the float switch. The owner/admin is now trying to say they explained to me that they don't replace float switches all along and they had advised me to contact another company 3 weeks ago? Just a bizarre and completely unexpected excuse for their poor communication and terrible customer service. My neighbors have had their septic systems pumped by this company and liked the price. Perhaps pump outs are the only service Clear Flow can handle.

I needed emergency septic services that I had to get resolved asap and they sent someone out within an hour and were able to resolve the issue. I'm super grateful that they were able to fit me in when no one else could and they were helpful, kind, and I would definitely recommend them to my friends.

So I needed a drain field and a few of my neighbors used Clear flow.   I called to have it done.  I paid the deposit. I heard nothing for weeks.   I called after 3 weeks and was told they have no idea when they will be out but the permit was submitted.   The next week I had to stay home from work due to a sick child and they just showed up.   No call or text or email.   They said the inspection would be the next day and they sent me a text for the remainder of the bill.   I was at work when it was inspected and the hole filled in.    When I got home I saw all of the gravel all over my yard that was not there prior to the drain field replacement.  I sent an email.   No response. A few days later there is a guy sitting in a clear flow truck in front of my house with a couple of piles of gravel and drain field garbage.  Three business days later I open an email with a lien on my house because I did not pay that day??????  

They can communicate about the Lein and that is it?    What kind of business does that??????

I paid their balance.   I wanted to talk to someone but no communication.

Got services done by this company back in November 2022. A lady came out and only drained one side of my tank proceeds to tell us we need to get the other side replaced where the filter is which would cost 8 grand. It is now June 1st 2023 what should have taken 3 to 4 yrs to empty took a few months. Got another company to come out and they told me she did not empty our tank fully. I paid a little over $400 with this company to be taken a fool of. Do not go with this company. Worst company ever.

To say vote 1 star is more than I would actually give for this company. They gave me an invoice for doing a new drain field, covering it in sod, and putting a riser on (all clearly dictated on the invoice). Once they finished the drain field they tried to talk my wife into paying without having done the sod, stating that the installer grossly underbid the project. Once I spoke to the owner and explained it was all laid out on the invoice he reluctantly said he would install the sod. Day of the install came and they didn't have enough. The owner stated that he didn't allot for any more sod and he wasn't going to finish the install. Therefore, they ruined my entire yard, had someone who self admittedly doesn't even know how to install the sod complete the project, and then left me with a frankenstein mess. Pictures to come shortly. I will be making a website soon to show their shotty work and poorly installed sod.

Our job failed inspection because the electrical work for the new pump for our septic was done incorrectly. Their electrician connected to an existing light switch that turns on our wall sconces in the front great room. If that light switch stays on to run the pump then our front room is always lit. They told us to just turn the switch on so we could pass the inspection & then basically it was our problem.
They wanted us to pay the balance even though the inspection failed. We said we would gladly pay when the job was complete and we had passed inspection. They supposedly fixed the issue and immediately charged my credit card before giving us confirmation that we passed inspection or giving us time to confirm on our own. When my wife called to get answers on what was happening and give them a different credit card to charge (it's still unknown if we even passed inspection or if the electrical work was completed by a licensed electrician), she was immediately screamed at and berated by the owner of the company to the point where she had to tell him to shut up so she could try to solve the problem. If a company is that defensive without any provocation then that tells you everything you need to know. I would never recommend this company to anyone needing a new septic or drain field.

we were quoted a price on the phone prior to our service. we then were charged an extra $250 upon service. i do understand extra charges but that possibility should have been revealed to us during our initial call. horrific customer service. worker extremely rude,

I highly recommend! I was having septic issues every couple of months while using another company. That company said that my septic tank and drain field were fine, but I would have trouble when having guests over. Embarrassing. One Saturday while having family over the entire septic system shut down. I called every septic company in the city for hours to help but nobody responded on the weekend. Finally, I was able to get in touch with Shaun who came out that day and drained my septic tank. I explained that I was having the same issues every couple of months and he diagnosed that the drain field wasn't draining properly. He and his crew at Clear Flow came out and installed a new tank, pump and drain field in a few days. The secretary was very helpful and kept me up to date regarding the permitting. The county wouldn't be able to inspect the drain field until Monday and it had to be left uncovered over the weekend. It was a small detail, but nice to know. I was waiting a little bit to write this review but fast forward a year and half later and the septic system still works great! I can enjoy lot of guests, wash clothes, run the dishwasher, take long showers and flush all the toilets without any problems. They really know there stuff. 5+ stars!!!

DO NOT use this company.  They do not show up when scheduled and do not call to let you know that you know that they will not be coming. We had to call them to find out that the technician was not in and that they would not be coming out.  We were told that they would be out the next day at 9 am.  They did not show up until almost 12 pm.  They never communicated anything while they were here and left without saying a word.  Two days later, they came back and finished the drain field and then the main office started blowing up our phones for the final payment.  There was a dispute over what amount was owed, and the billing office was very rude and uncourteous.  We finally spoke with the salesman and he verified that the amount that we said we owed was correct.  No one ever apologized.  I would never recommend this company to anyone.  STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!

Beware!! Worst septic service company...
We hired them 3 years ago when we moved into our home. They diagnosed (in writing) our issue to be a compromised drain field due to lack of filter from the tank to the field. Rather than just pump out (which we had already paid for when the problem arose), we hired them to replace the entire drain field. No where in our documents for the new drain field did it say there was not a filter included, and we requested one showing them their written receipt from the pump out and diagnosed the bad drain field. Over $2.5K later, we are all set (so we think) ... since there was no filter for the flow out to the drain field, the SAME issue has recurred and we are back at square one. This is like going to a mechanic and being diagnosed with a bad engine due to no oil filter, you replace my engine don't install a filter and allow the same damages to occur to my new engine. This is a SCAM! They say the filter is not required by the county ... but it's on their documents that I NEED one to prevent this issue from happening. You've taken my money, you've cleaned up/repaired damages... but you never resolved the issue which was diagnosed by ClearFlow to begin with. I've already contacted the State's attorney's office... and I'm not done yet!!

I called in Saturday evening with an emergency septic issue. The woman on the phone scheduled an appointment between 2-5 pm the next day. They never showed. I called and Amber said she called multiple times. I verified my number- they had it wrong. I then stress my immediate need if services. She called the tech. Billy called me and said they could maybe get a tech out - but the cost would increase. I reminded him that this was their companies error and they should cover that difference. He said that he didn't disagree but that's not how it works. Once I got my point across- he said he see what he could do and would call me back. At 6:30 pm, Billy said he'd be out in about an hour. After an hour and a half - I texted and called with no answer. I called the office. Amber said she couldn't get a hold of him either. Now I have to pay for a hotel for a night and still have my problem waiting for me tomorrow. But I actually work at my job- so what can I do ? I told Amber that they all deserve to literally deal with crap everyday and I truly meant it.

Worst septic tank company of all times!!!. They installed a 667ft drain field, 1050 gallon tank 1.5 years ago to the tune of 10k.   We were having toilet flushing issues and had another septic tank company come out to drain the tank and found out the baffle is not connected and laying at the bottom of the tank. I called and spoke to rude lady at clear flow septic  who said the county approved it and end of story. She said they could replace the tank but no repairs. Stay away from these guys at clear flow septic.
Low quality work and very poor customer service. They claim to be family owned which typically would mean great support and quality workmanship.
In this case, none of that is true.  Stay away from this septic company!!!!!

I've lived in Orlando for about 15 years, and have tried several septic companies in the area. This company not only is great with prices but also courteous in treating their customers. They came and pumped my tank with absolutely no issues. And didn't try to sell me everything under the rug. Definitely will be my new go to!!!

Stay away!!  Worst experience ever! They failed a test that they never inspected.  They showed up late, was rude, and left after saying they would run water from a hose outside hose for 45 minutes.  Wife came back 15 minutes later (had bad feeling).  They were gone!  Took pictures time stamped.  Called their main office today to share experience.  After letting them know what happened, was again treated rudely.  Told I should go get my certification if I know so much!  Main office said we don't run water from hose.  Why then did my wife have to help him find outside spicket at HIS request?  It gets better, after they admit they didn't get to run water because we left, they accompany the report with a $6,000 estimate to install a drain field! Yes, on a system they never inspected.  Real estate agents, lenders, title agents, and the general public, BEWARE
