We had a leak in our outside water faucet. Called Roto-rooter and they came out and said we won't know what's wrong until we break into the wall and we won't repair the wall afterwards. Uh no. Troy came out and took a look, gave us an estimate and scheduled to come back. Fixed the leak and what was messed up in the wall. He is reasonably priced and a good guy. I'll 100% use Troy's Plumbing again for any issues moving forward. Support small business!

I called to get assistance with clogged drain.  Assistant was very pleasant and got me scheduled pretty  quick. Trey (tech) was running a few minutes behind, and assistant called to give me a heads up. Tech did a great job and cleaned up before leaving

This is a HUGE SHOUT out to the amazing team at Troy's Plumbing in Winter Garden. Right after we moved into our new home, we discovered that a 20 year old oak tree roots were basically strangulating our sewer line, which caused our entire system to backup. Total nightmare! We thought it might break the bank, but not with these guys. They went above and beyond the call of duty to help us, and within 24 hours our system was completed fixed. And they came in under what I expected to pay. Truly amazing!!! Thanks to the owner Troy and his son Trey for doing such a great job. I can't say enough good things about these guys, so if you need help with your plumbing give them a call.

Scheduled an appointment several days out for a Friday morning. Thursday I got a call saying they were running behind and wouldn't make Friday.

Ok, things happen, rescheduled for following Monday morning. No show, no call. I called at 3:00 and got some excuses. Was told they would be out around 3:00 the next day. No show, no call again.

Glad I didn't stay home from work 2 days in a row...oh...wait...I did.

Love Troy, charly and the rest of the workers! They did a great job on replumbing our house! They were always very professional and on time! We have had no issues with our house!!! Thank you and will be a returning costumer!!

They rushed in the door.  Grandfather said hurry up I have an appointment to the grandson who was doing the work.  My husband already had the sink apart.  They snaked the sink which took about 20 minutes.  I asked them how much he said $185. I said you have not even been here 30 minutes he said ok $250. How rude. I would NOT recommend. Over priced and rude.  Call someone else.

Over priced. They showed up on time. Stayed for a hour and 15 minutes and charged  
$225 to unclog a sink.

I would give the father a 5 star rating, but the grandfather and grandson a zero. I had a back up drain, the son shows up and could not finish the job, due to he didn't have the proper equipment. So he said and i quote i be back tomorrow and no charge for the second visit. the next day, he change his mind and charge me! What can i do my drain was clogged and couldn't use my bathroom. never called them again, too bad i used them a lot and use to recommend them to everyone, but now forget about it!

Waited hour and a half for a scheduled appt, no show no call. Called office and given excuse about scheduler. Told they could be there in 30 minutes to an hour. Sorry, bad first impression. I build houses for many years and I understand being late, but always call.

Hired Troy to run propane lines from tank to pool heater and back to grill and propane disconnect.  He does quality union style work.  A true craftsman.  And a veteran.  He simple does it right.

Had such an awful experience with Troy's plumbing. We have a very basic shower faucet leak in our master bathroom that needed to be fixed. They came to check the issue out and said they needed to order a part. It took a very long time for them to come back only to fix the wrong shower. They have a knack for promising you they will come but they never show up. It's been over a month since we have called them to fix the most basic of plumbing issues and it's excuse after excuse and promise after broken promise. They then have the audacity to tell me they can't come back until they have authorization from the home owner. They say they didn't have authorization but attempted to fix the leak initially and then also sent the owner of the house a bill. So apparently no authorization to fix but authorization to bill? We said forget it and we would go with a other plumbing company. We were more patient than we should have been, and it's disappointing especially because they are trying to expand as a company

I never leave reviews let alone negative reviews but this company compelled me. I would give them -5 if that was an option.

I had a clog in my bathtub. The plumber came and I showed him what's going on. I asked him for a quote, he said if they have to run a machine from the roof it will be $430+ but if we don't have to run the machine then it will be $100 to $200. He spent literally 7/8 mins in the crawl space, used a chain snake and removed the clog. He charged me $300. I asked him what was the reason for this bill since that's not what he quoted and is not a comparable rate. He is like this is The charge. He lied on my face that he never said $100 to $200. I tried to talk to him really nicely but he was so so unprofessional in his behavior which honestly made me write the review.

He left saying he will send me a bill. Then his dad Troy who is the owner called me after an hour and asked what happened. He said they had used the expensive machine and actually charged me less than $430, what's the problem, why would you charge me less if that's the rate? Lie after lie. I told him that wasn't the truth, they didn't used the said equipment. Then he spoke to his son and called me back again, saying this is the right charge, the rate is $200-$500, and we charge just $150 to even take a look. how do you want to pay.

This is not a matter of paying $300 in place of $150, this is about how they conduct their business and treat customers and that matters. They are a fraud company.

Had Troy's Plumbing out to look at two jobs I needed done. The office scheduled them for a Friday at 3:00 pm.  When they didn't show, I called the office and was assured someone would call me.  I called the office on Saturday day and the answering service assured me  someone would call.
They didn't.  Called Tuesday and was promised another call back. They did not.  BEWARE. They will waste your time too.  I was a previous customer and this is how they treated me

Please do not do business with this company.
1.  Took half of my money, then they would not come to finish the work, took 3 months to install 2 tankless water heaters.
2.  Troy's son came to my house drunk, told me he was still drunk from previous night. I reported to Troy and he replied that his son was his only option for me and there was nothing he could do.
3. They installed water heaters incorrectly and now we have carbon monoxide leaking into our living room.
4. I had to call Ferran plumbing, they could not believe how bad Troy's plumbing had done and are working after hours to repair his work due to the dangerous leak Troy's plumbing created. (I also have 2 very small children)

These guys are not pro's, Troy talks as if he is your best friend (and he is a very nice man) but the quality of work will cost you in repairs, poor response time, and unprofessional behavior made me post this to warn everyone.

If I could give them a ZERO...I would.  

I opted for Troy's Plumbing because they were the highest rated on Next Door.  I called them on a Thursday and had an appt for the next morning at 9am.  I called them at 10am when they hadn't made it out and was told they were on their way because they stopped at another location beforehand.  I called them again around noon and left a message with their answering service.  Never received a call back.

If something comes up and you can't make it, the very least they can do is spend one minute to call and let you know they won't be coming out.  Especially if it's due to an emergency, which mine was.  Troy's Plumbing LIES.

Troy's plumbing didn't respond to BBB complaint. Troy's plumbing falsified invoice and inflated prices.

Do NOT do business with Troy's plumbing.  I called and scheduled an appointment to have my garbage disposal looked at. The rep gave me a time between 10am and 12pm. At 1033am I got a call saying he ran into something at the current clients house and reassured me he would come between 12pm and 2pm. At 327pm when no one showed up I called them. The rep again reassured me he was on his way. So at 502pm when they didnt show up I called them again. This time I called they informed me that the office was closed and they were an answering service. They couldn't reach the plumber but could only leave a message for Monday morning.  How dare them have no respect for their customers.  They wasted my entire day for absolutely nothing to be done! Call someone else.  0 stars

I had a faucet on the outside of my house that broke an I checked with some people at my church and they recommended Troy's Plumbing. He came out the very next day (Saturday) and fixed it and helped me with a couple of other problems! I highly recommend him. The cost was actually less than I had expected! Great job.

Troy's Plumbing did not show up. I had to bust my butt to get to my house in Winter Garden, from Orlando, to meet this plumbing company at their scheduled time.
After waiting a couple hours past the time, I called their office and was told that the plumber was tied up on another job but that he would be there for sure. I asked why they didn't see the need to at least call and let me know, and the office person's response was, Oh I guess I should have called.
Well, after many more hours of waiting and no plumber, again no phone call, I concluded they didn't want my business. I had a service business for over 30 years. I can't imagine how I would have been able to stay in business treating customers like they did me. I should send them a bill for my time!

I needed a plumber this morning when I found a backed up toilet belching sewage all over my recently refurbished floors. I called Troy's on the referral of a friend and I am so glad I did. Troy was a complete professional and clearly explained what he would be doing, how long it would take, what I should expect and what it would cost. His prices were competitive and fair and he was at my door in no time at all. I would highly recommend Troy's Plumbing without hesitation. Thank you for being there when we needed you Troy!

In response to Scott G, $225 is a pretty standard rate depending on what you had the person doing.  Not even sure how your clearly fake review made it on Yelp with no friends and no other reviews.

Troy's re-plumbed my house. We are beyond the 1 year labor warranty, but I will let you decide whether this was an acceptable installation.

Recently, I had to call a water damage mitigation company because a pipe fitting was never glued together. The fitting is located in the ceiling, BTW. The fitting finally popped and my house flooded.

I called Troy's crew in and it turned out to be the same installer from the re-plumb job. The grandson took one look at it and said that he couldn't believe it lasted that long.  I have photos, BTW. In the meantime, while they were there, the grandfather broke the shutoff valve in the garage.  Basically, they shrugged it off and left. They did glue the fitting - no charge. They just left the broken valve.

So, big insurance claim. Troy's took no responsibility for the poor workmanship and the insurance company said they would be following up with Troy's for reimbursement.  I am not hopeful for that outcome.

There's more!  They forgot about the outside faucets during the re-plumb job and did it after I reminded them at the end of the job. But they installed those pipes to the outside faucets in front of the ingress to the house - meaning that the house shutoff will not turn off the water supply to the outside faucets.  They installed buried pipe through the yard for the outside faucets. But they only buried it 2 inches deep!  Last month, I accidentally cut the pipe while gardening and discovered that I had to go to the street to turn off that water supply...

I went out to shut off the water at the meter and found that, to my dismay, that the meter had been connected incorrectly - sideways.  When I shut off the water at the meter, it snapped off from the connection to my house.  Imagine a massive geyser shooting into the air in front of my house!  It was connected with cheap, brittle, irrigation grade PVC pipe!  I fixed that myself with some emergency direction from the City of Ocoee meter guy.

There's more that I recently contacted them about and I have not gotten any response. I could tell you about it but I think there is a limit to the length of the review here.

Hire Troy's plumbing at your own risk.

Had Troy's Plumbing scheduled for a job on a Tuesday.  They had to cancel due to installer being sick.  I was very understandable.  Rescheduled for Thursday and they were no show, no call.  After talking with them, they said I'm on their schedule for Friday now.  On Friday, no one showed up.  After calling the office, they tell me they are on another job and didn't submit our permit in time to have it done per the schedule they gave me.

I've had these excuses from them on past work and just thought it was normal for them.  If you're a professional business, communicate with your customers.  Tory's Plumbing doesn't have what it takes to get jobs started or completed.  They've failed.  They will waste your time.  I was a previous customer and this is how they treated me.

DO NOT TRUST TIM!!! this guy came out to fix a leaky valve on my shower head...said it would be 650.00$...had it done by another company in winter garden and paid 150.00$ for the entire job, replacing the head , valve, and the on off switch...

Troy's  plumbing was called for an estimate for a simple plumbing repair.
During an estimate before I accepted their bid they damaged my bathroom by cutting large hall in the fiber glass shower enclosure. Didn't even notify me. I had no idea that they did that. Few weeks later Tenant start complaining and I called Troy to see what happened and where is my estimate. He knew nothing about this royal screw up but promised to fix it. After weeks asking for estimate he Proposed an estimate that was more then double from others since now they had to fix large uneven hole as well. I agreed to this because my back was against the wall - no other plumber was willing to jump in the middle of this. Some even said it's not fixable.

Since then  Owner Troy Stone did and said everything possible to avoid responsibility of coming back and fixing their screw up. He probably knows that he can't because they  damaged it so badly. But won't admit it and kept rescheduling and making excuses for 10 !!! Months.  I gave him every benefit of the doubt and was more then patient. Last I heard from him about 3 weeks ago that I need to wait until he is available. Yet business runs as usual and plenty jobs gets done but not mine.

Bath is still sitting Inoperable and no other plumber wants to touch fixing damages Troy's plumbing did.

I worked with hundreds contractors in my life both professionally and personally. Troy Stone is by far most unreliable. Sure some jobs go just fine. But if god forbid they mess up your job he will not own it, will not stand behind his work, will avoid you, make empty promises and just hoping you get so frustrated that you will go away.

Honest, reputable contractors stand behind their name and their work. Not Troy Stone. The way this was handled ( or not handled) is just mind blowing. I do believe in karma though...

Find another contractor, this one is not trustworthy

They came to my business to clean out some floor drains.  They were there a little over one hour and charged me $330.  Rip off!  My doctor is cheaper!

Called Troy's Plumbing to get an estimate for replacing a garbage disposal that I supplied.  I was told by the call taker that Troy would have to come to the house before he could give me an estimate. I was not told about a trip charge of $55 until I was presented with the bill. Troy said that the person who took the call should have told me. I agree, but she didn't. His installation price for the disposal was also $35 higher than 3 other licensed plumbers who had given me estimates over the phone. Buyer beware.
