Bluefrog Plumbing + Drain

I had a very slow drain from the kitchen sink (which tended to drain into the intervening downstairs bar sink.) I also had a leaking hose bib in the back lawn. It was easy to make an appointment. The day before I got a call from a tech letting me know he could fit me in that day if I wanted. Since I was working at home that day, I said great.

He quickly got the drain unplugged. It's a long run from the clean-out to the main line. I asked if anything in particular came out and he said it was just general build-up. He commented that on my 50+ year old house, settling may have reduced the slope in the line. He suggested regular use of one of the biological cleaners and that I run more water to ensure that anything that does go down the drain makes it all the way to the main line.

The hose bib could not be easily fixed, but in a way that I expected. It leaks in the open position around the stem and needs its packing replaced. I was unable to get the screw out to take off the handle so I could get to the packing nut behind it. Alas, he was also not able to get it off, even with an impact driver. Because its a freeze-proof bib, it would have to be cut off and replaced from inside the house (which is finished downstairs.) He gave me a quote for doing this and I decided not to do that right now. I was not charged for the attempt.

This is my first time using this company. I'm happy so far.

Overall, good service. We had a bathroom faucet changed out, and two outdoor hose faucets changed out. Was originally quoted $900+, ended up paying $1400+.

We had a slow drain in our laundry room. Ryan was great. He listened carefully, asked questions, and even suggested that some of the work we had gotten quoted maybe wasn't necessary (a huge relief considering the numbers!). He had creative ideas and left me confident that he understand the problem and the solution. He was even considerate enough to wear those little booties while in my home.  We haven't made a decision yet, but were very impressed with the level of service on our quote.

Ryan did a great job and was very patient with me since I had them install an unsettled whole house water filter. They also installed a Rinnai water heater and it's been rock solid ever since.

I had a leaking pipe in my crawlspace, so needed a plumber immediately.  Dealing with unexpected projects like this is one of least favorite things to deal with -- so many dishonest companies out there. Based on the excellent Google and Yelp reviews, I decided to give Blue Frog a try.  Jerome (owner?) was able to get me in that same day.  Ryan was my tech, and he was on time, professional, knowledgeable, and honest.  After he fixed the leak,  he waited for the city to turn the water back on, to double check his work. Decent price too!  Excellent company and would definitely use again.  Thank you Jerome and Ryan!

We were having a new dishwasher installed when the installation tech said they couldn't complete the install due to a corroded valve under the sink. I contacted Bluefrog and they had Jason out to my house the same day to fix the valve. He was in and out in a short time and took care of the problem for a lot less than what I was quoted from another company. I couldn't be more pleased with how our problem was fixed by Bluefrog!

We had an issue with our hotwater heater.  We called and secured the first available appointment.  Jimi K. came out, its great to have a plumber show up on time.  Our hotwater heater is in a closet in the laundry room.  He went to put on footies/boots which I said weren't needed but he said we do it on every call, I appreciated his courtesy.

He inspected the hotwater heater and saw we had a problem with our pilot light.  He took a part off, went out to his vehicle and came in with it cleaned up.  He said one part of the tube was clogged.  Instead of a new heater or new light/valve, he repaired what I had.  Saved me a bunch of time and money.   Their pricing was fair, they did give me a couple things to watch out for with my heater (I probably will need to replace it in 18-24 months).  It was great to know this so I can plan accordingly.   I would definitely use them again.   A good business with great service and fair pricing.

Working with Bluefrog was seamless. The technician was able to come out the next day for my non-emergency repair of the water supply line.  Customer service was great and the tech was clearly knowledgeable.  The best part - I found the prices to be very reasonable.  I would definitely use Bullfrog again for my plumbing needs.

I did not actually use them but I spoke to Jerome and messaged a couple of times he was quite helpful. I would definitely use this company if it was something I could not fix myself, and that is most things! lol

Blue frog. came out to provide a quote on the installation of a bathroom in our basement. It currently has rough in plumbing only. The technician was knowledgeable and obviously loved his trade. He provided recommendations and courses of action on how to get the project done most effectively. He then provided a quote within minutes of completing our estimate. We haven't moved forward yet on hiring but this company is currently at the top of our list.

I wanted to update my review. We had Jason Bandy come out a few times because even after cleaning our main line twice, still had issues of water backing up, toilet was bubbling and came out into our bathtub. We got it camered and there was a blockage at 50ft. We had to tear up our driveway and fix our sewer line which was several thousands of dollars but we found the issue was a major Fiber optic company rammed their conduit into our sewer line. After all said and done, we had to file a claim with said major company's contractors and they had to pay for our expensive repairs. Jerome, the office manager always answered my calls and got the invoices to the contractors and everything was fixed and paid for with his timely response. We now have outside cleanouts. Bluefrog has a 5 year warranty on our fix and we have not had issues since. I will gladly recommend them to others with plumbing issues.

The communications I had with them were regular and clear; these guys came out to bid on a job that the scheduled plumbers (McComb Plumbing) had gone to go another job in the middle of the same project I hired Bluefrog for and never returned) bailed on. They were able to come out the same morning I touched base and the rep/plumber, Ryan, was clear and no-nonsense. The bid came quickly through email.

The price was higher than I'd hoped for; I'd been told the job would be done by a team of two and take 4-5 hours; it was only one person and it took more than 8 hours. (A second guy did come for about an hour.)

The project was to extend a gas line to allow me to get a new range and dryer. Everything got set up and running.

I'd recommend them!

I described my issue as a scene right out of the Exorcist. A backup in the drain plus leftover beef stew down the garbage disposal caused an explosion of stew all over my basement last night. Jason came out this afternoon and took care of the problem right away. He was full of tips on everything from plumbing, to water heaters, to our camper, and even our wacked our rescue dog that locked himself in the bedroom :)

I was really pleased with their responsiveness from bid, to scheduling to the day of the work.  They were very flexible when I needed to update the install date as we awaited the water heater delivery.  They had two techs on site who were able to address the specialty water heater and its weight.  Great job.

Bluefrog was great to deal with! Ryan, our plumber, was professional, knowledgeable and completed the repair quickly. It's not cheap, but you pay for quality service, which Bluefrog provides. I would definitely recommend them for any of your plumbing needs!

Bluefrog is the best.  Ryan came out a week and a half ago.  They had a time slot earlier than scheduled and fit me in a day sooner.  Ryan quickly diagnosed the problem and gave me an estimate - which I approved.  He rebuilt the laundry standpipe (which had been leaking), rebuilt the T that joins the laundry drain and the main line which drains half the house.  Then he snaked the 50 feet or so all the way to the street.  I had washed an old blanket which disintegrated and created a clog in the cast iron beneath the basement concrete.  When he left, everything drained perfectly and I was completely satisfied.  Ryan also suggested using Bio Clean drain cleaner which is an excellent product.

We used Bluefrog to install our new gas heater.  Blue frog was considerate of our time with sending updates by text and email for tracking the arrival.   Jason was very professional, knowledgeable and polite.  He installed the new gas heater in a reasonable amount of time with attention to detail.  The price was fair.  We would definitely recommend Bluefrogfor any plumbing/gas needs.

We had a shower clog with standing water.  Called Bluefrog based on their yelp reviews - a real person answered the phone (no machine) and they had me scheduled for the next morning within minutes and confirmed the appt via text.  The next morning Ryan (the tech - nice guy) showed up right on time, assessed the situation, provided a fair quote, and did the work.  Problem solved - easy - and no surprises or gotchas.  Ryan even looked over my 20+ year old water heater and provided me with his opinion on it - without any BS or high pressure sales tactics.  THIS is how customers want to be treated - other companies should take note - I'm looking at you Rooter Town (see my review on them - quite a different experience).  Next time I need help with a plumbing issue, Bluefrog will be my first (and likely only) call.

We had a pipe / bib get damaged over winter due to the hard freeze. Didn't know it until we tried to use an outside spigot. Luckily was not leaking. Bluefrog had it fixed within a week even though the replacement part we needed was obscure and hard to find. Ryan was our plumber/service agent. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and informative. I will totally be using Bluefrog again.

I want to give them more stars because they were prompt and fast- but I had a very easy fix on my garbage disposal and just felt like the tech knew what was wrong and had me agree to a fee that was exorbitant to what he actually did- which took him 30 seconds for around $250.

Provided DIY tips that worked great (and without charging for a service visit). Could have made it complicated and talked me into paying a lot. Appreciate their honesty. Also very responsive and great communication. I'll call them again in a flash.

Bluefrog plumbing service was 10/10. They are very responsive. I called them for a tankless water heater replacement.
The area where the water heater was going didn't leave much room but they made it happen. I think most
Places would have walked away or turned it into a much more expensive job. Also, their attention to detail was superb. They made sure that I can still access my furnace filter after they outfitted some new pipes.

Blue Frog was awesome. They don't charge for their visit or quotes. The service rep was super helpful setting up an appointment. The technician Ryan R. was very punctual and professional. He didn't try to oversell us, and provided sound advice for the work we needed done. We elected a DIY fix, but if it doesn't work, we'll be setting up another appointment. No payment for visits or quotes is how it should be. Well done!

These company is fantastic - called them on Tuesday with a problem i was experiencing with my tankless water heater - they were out the next day and fixed the problem.  Ryan - our service guy was super polite, very clean and got in and out quickly.

When my shower started leaking behind the wall and I had to shut off the water to the entire house and even my normal plumber would not respond I called Bluefrog.  They immediately scheduled me for the sameday.  Then I was luck enough to get Ryan as my technician.  Ryan told me what needed to be done and got right to work.  It, at least in my eyes, was not a small job and began by cutting two access holes from behind the shower.  Ryan was both friendly and knowledgable and never seemed to mind my endless questions.  
He  finished the job, tested the new shower, and cleaned it all up cleaner than he found it.  I could not have been happier.  Bluefrog hs become my new go to Plumber.

I called at 2 PM on a Friday because I thought I had a leak they didn't have any appointments available but then they called me back they found time to come out at 4:30 on a Friday and check things out. I didn't have a leak but was relieved and reassured. They were so nice, didn't charge me. I truly did not expect that and was willing to pay a service charge. They were just simply amazing! Refreshing to find a company with a team that cares about the customer, knows their stuff and isn't price gouging. I really appreciate their support and wholeheartedly recommend them. I will use them for sure in the future when it comes time for a new water heater or anything related to my plumbing.

The fast response to what we thought was a minor problem was perhaps the most impressive part of working with Bluefrog Plumbing. We live in a 1924 home in Denver's Park Hill neighborhood and had a problem with our drain in our tub. Thinking that no plumber would want to help with such a small job we just dealt with the problem and kept putting it off. Upon explaining our issue to the Bluefrog team one evening after 5pm, they agreed to get in touch the next morning to schedule a time and in less than 36 hours from our call our tub drain was fixed. The Bluefrog team operates at a service level above anything we've experienced from similar contractors.

Bullfrog did a great job doing some home improvement-type stuff we needed done around our new house (installing new toilets and a new faucet/sink) as well as addressing some issues that came up on our inspection report like an inadequate sink drain and leaking outdoor faucet.  Would definitely use again!

Bluefrog Plumbing came out on a Sunday (Easter Sunday in fact)  to give us an estimate on a remodeling job we are doing in our bathroom. Curtious, through and a fair price and a quick turn around to send someone out to do the job in the time frame we need.

I had just purchased a house a few months back and never really touched the hot water heater, but the hot water was getting worse and worse.  The previous owner had installed a hot water tank booster (no idea why) and the cold water bypass pipe had a leak which I tried to fix which made the hot water pressure worse to the point of no hot water.  I made an appointment with Bluefrog on Sunday and they were able to get me in for a Monday morning appointment and sent Ryan Riggs out.  He was very knowledgeable and quick to give a couple of options for what to do.  In about an hour he was able to replace both the cold and hot water supply lines to/from the hot water tank at a reasonable rate and now I finally have full pressure hot water like I'm supposed to.  I was originally hesitant to use Bluefrog due to lack of reviews, but they have been pretty stellar and I know who to look to for any future plumbing/water related needs.

Replaced my leaking water heater real fast and at a fair price.  I had called 2 other plumbers who quoted me a much higher price.  Bluefrog beat their price and took the old heater with them.  They were real fast and professional.  Very happy with their service and will definitely call on them again.
