They don't keep their word. The tech never showed up to the set appointment. No call, no show. Finally, 50 minutes after the appointment I receive a call. I missed the call. I called back 10 minutes later and Donna who answered the phone tried to immediately blame me because I didn't answer a call 50 minutes after the appointment. Saying with a blaming tone I've been trying to reach you, you voicemails full. Hoping I would doubt myself, fold and believe I was at fault. Talk about playing a game rather that having integrity and admitting fault.
Then she said her tech was on the way. I was nice enough to let her know that since it was 70 minutes past the appointment not to send the tech. See how that works? I had the courtesy to call and save the tech a trip rather than just standing the tech up and then argue about it later on the phone.
Unprofessional, zero integrity, confrontational, argumentative, zero responsibility, aggressive behavior, zero respect for the public.

We highly recommend them. John is very professional and knowledgeable. We needed a gas line added for a gas stove and a water heater installed. Not only did he do an excellent job, but his prices were stellar. He got the job done in a quick time frame and did excellent work! If I could give him 10 stars I would! Thank you John! Integrity and honesty is what you will get with John!

These guys were great! Zack was on time and kept me informed of the costs all along. When the problem turned out to be more serious than I thought it might, he explained the problem and gave me the parts so I could see for myself. He was professional, efficient, and pleasant. I would definitely call these guys again if I have any plumbing problems.

Taylor was very quick to respond at 5pm on a Saturday. He arrived within 30 minutes, was able to diagnose the problem and get us back up and running. Friendly, responsive and did not push expensive replacements as first response. Great overall experience.

Friendly, on time, and affordable. I needed some plumbing work done on the home I recently purchased. I was told the price would be $92 per hour for any work done, and give an a quote for two hours plus parts. I got charged $270 for two hours of labor and parts for fixing a leaky drain, installing a new kitchen faucet, and water line to a refrigerator. I find for the time and labor that being fair and right on par of what being promised. I would recommend Nance Plumbing to anyone and use them again for any of my plumbing needs.

Wow- what an amazing company and great group of folks to work with. We just can't say enough about the quality of service provided by these guys. We had water coming out of our pressure tank on the weekend- they called first thing Monday morning and had it fixed shortly thereafter. Always nice to find a quality, honest, and fair company.

When Todd inpsected my hot water heater, we discussed the fact that it had plastic valves and fittings that would prevent a full flush of all particles because the larger ones would not fit through the small diameter plastic drain valve. He also warned me that, because of the age of the unit and the very nature of the plastic material and exposure to heat, the plastic valve could fail during the removal phase and cause other problems. I approved his suggestion to replace the existing plastic fittings with brass ones--and trusted that he could handle any resulting issues. (It is essential to me that a contractor has the skill and knowlege to complete a job--and the professionalism to make it right for the customer.)
Todd, who is the owner/operator of the water heater repair company knows what he's doing. He successfully replaced the valve, flushed the system, showed me the particles that had been accumulating in my hot water heater for years--and charged me a fair and reasonable price for the job. The hot water heater no longer makes the rumbling noise for which I sought his services--and I have his contact information; I will contact him for future plumbing needs.
-Just some added info, I had first contacted a plumber who had worked on a friend's plumbing. He told me that because my water heater is located in the attic, that he would not do the job at all unless I wanted the water heater replaced--and relocated to the garage. I was glad I went with Todd instead.

Thomas was great -- he came over after hours to ensure that my house was not going to burn down. He checked all the outlets on that circuit and replaced my GFI. I plan to do more work with them in the future.

A backed up drain in the basement was causing my Dad some frustration and he was content to pull out the yellow pages and play plumber roulette. I suggested we use Yelp and find a highly rated plumber. Unfortunately, our experience didn't live up to the reviews.
The entire experience was unpleasant, but our primary issue is that we found their lack of communication and professionalism inadequate.
The technician showed up late and unprepared to our morning appt. After abruptly leaving and promising to return 45 min later he never showed. We called and left another message. The dispatcher returned the call an hour or so later to tell us he wouldn't be back until the evening. After another no show we called to cancel the appt (an unpleasant call which only served to underscore the lack of professionalism.)
Providing timely communication, ditching the answering machine and staffing the phones and providing a courtesy call when the technician is going to be late would all go a long way in alleviating frustration.
In the end we went with a competitor who showed up 45 min after we called and had the problem solved in 15 min.

Had a great tech who performed a basic tuneup of our furnace. Had tech Phabian Gomez who was both knowledgeable and transparent about the work that he completed. Add in a seasonal $50 discount and I have zero complaints with the experience.

Another successful service from Sunshine. Did not know that water heaters needs to be drained yearly to prevent build up of chemicals. The hot water we use to take showers and cook food is now cleaner. Order a Plumbing Inspection now which includes a water heater flush because I bet most homeowners don't have a clue on what's in their waters.
Technician Rocky L. was very knowlegeable and I recommend him for plumbing problems.

I just called to schedule an appointment to have some maintenance done in a home I manage. I was told I needed to be there in person - which doesn't work for me - everyone has always been comfortable working with my current tenant and billing me later. They said, We don't bill so we will need the money upfront. NOT USER FRIENDLY at all!!! Best of luck with your business practices.

WARNING! EVERYTHING THIS MAN SAID IS A LIE!!!! STAY FAR AWAY. STOLE 11,000 for a Rough in. READ response from the owner with caution. permit with the city was FRAUDULENT! (Pulled on a random name not his own, actually under an expired license) OWNERS HAVE HAD SOOOOOO MANY WORKMANSHIP ISSUES WITH THE PLUMBING SINCE HE LEFT THE SITE!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!
See photos that prove Mr Cs is LIEING !!!
I feel so awful for the people he's currently working for based on recent pix. He'll take all you're money & never come back to the job site. Give it just a year or two and your plumbing will start to blow! We offered legal assistance for him to work out his employee Dave stealing $7000 of our project monies. He disappeared after that so we think he was in on a scam of some sort! He pulled a Fake permit (in his Daddy's name) for our job took $11000.00 & never finished the job! Jeremy Carter cannot be trusted in the plumbing industry.
BEWARE! DO NOT LET HIM NEAR YOUR HOUSE!

Do not use this company! owner is not a master plumber and pays a master plumber for the use of his license. He does not pull permits and cuts corners, His 1 year warrantyis as good is as his word which is not worth the paper its written on. Michael Beadle lies and states hes been in combat and portrays himself out to be a former soldier but has no military background whatsoever. Please do not fall for his lies,

Ladies do not fall for his lies. He looks for women and uses them for his business and never pays them.

This is such an overdue review, but something has to be said about what my mother and I dealt with with this company.
A few years back, we needed our hot water heater replaced, so my mother called Applewood and they came out and got us a new tank and installed it. The first red flag is that it cost over $2,000 for a new water heater and installation. A $900 dollar tank had $1100 worth of installation charges? Hmm. That should have put us off in the first place, we needed it, but we sure did pay for it in the long run.
Fast forward 5 months down the road. Spring time finally and I get down in the crawlspace to turn on the sprinkler system for the upcoming season. There is water EVERYWHERE. Every bit of the floor was damp and there were mushrooms growing in the crawlspace. I had no clue where it was coming from and freaked out. I thought it was my washing machine leaking back behind the wall. I crawled back out and when I removed my little trashcan next to the heater, there were mushrooms growing out of the carpet. Literally had busted through the seam next to the wall and started growing.
Luckily, I had a friend who's father was plumber and he offered to come take a look before we called AppleWood again. When inspecting the water heater, he noticed a piece was missing from on top of the tank which prevents water from escaping out of the top. Due to the slight decline the tank was sitting on, the water had been slowly leaking out of the tank for over five months, behind the wall and all into the crawlspace. All because the technician did not install the tank correctly. We took pictures of everything and started calling Applewood.
We ended up having to have our walls ripped apart due to mold, and had to have all our carpet replaced. We fought for about a year for Applewood to pay for all of it, because the evidence was there that the tech did not install the tank correctly. It was such a horrendous process and I would never wish it on anyone. They price gouge, and their work is not up to par.
