Nytech Heating and Cooling Plumbing Service
Fantastic service, could not be happier with Nytech!  We had a problem with our furnace on the coldest day of the year.  Another company came out and tried to fix it last year and charged us each of the 4 failed attempts to do it...the problem came back.  Nytech came out, fixed the problem quickly and charged us a fraction of the price of the other company (and on a weekend!).  Dan was professional, courteous, friendly, and really knew his stuff.  I will absolutely use Nytech for all my future HVAC needs.

JK Plumbing Plumbing Service
I found JK Plumbing via Yelp. My expectations were exceeded by John from the moment I first texted to get onto his schedule, to the time of job completion.

John came and looked at my job, a small bathroom renovation, and priced it for me. He was then able to do my job the next day due to another job cancellation.

John is so courteous and efficient and very tidy. His communication is great. He fully and clearly explained what the job entailed and his initial estimate was spot on. His prices are very fair for the quality of his service and obvious skill.

John offered great advice with my bathroom fitout which I greatly appreciated.

I am extremely happy with JK Plumbing and would highly recommend that you reach out to John for any plumbing projects you have. You can be completely confident in him, his team and his great work and professionalism.

Our sewer line backed up so we were excited these guys were coming over right away to get to the bottom of it.. Mark came over and did a sewer scope and said we needed to replace the whole line from the house past the clean outs. He said there was offsetting and bellying and that we needed over $10,000 worth of repairs. Turns out the offsetting is where the pipe goes from 4 to 3 and if we wanted to replace the whole thing we could do so for around $6,000. Also for even cheaper we could do just a spot repair or cleaning but we're never given that as an option. He was very short and rude as he overcharged for the scope and never gave us a report or a video which it says on there website is included. But now we know that they are just scam artists or just really bad at there job. I tried to be nice because I don't know anything about plumbing but now it's obvious they are just trying to take advantage of people that don't understand. Don't waste your time and money with this company. They deserve -50 stars. What a terrible experience.

FairPoint Heating & Air Plumbing Service
My fridge water line leaked and caused pretty bad water damage late in the afternoon on Saturday. Unfortunately the fridge water line valve broke not allowing us to turn off the water unless we turned off the main water valve. I called Tyler and he was able to have Mitch come out to fix our valve within 1.5 hours of calling. Mitch was able to fix the valve quickly and also gave us a recommendation for someone to come out and assess our water damage. Thank you so much for coming out so quickly when we were in a bind!

Bill Nance Plumbing & Heating Plumbing Service
If you are looking for a company that operates its business with honesty and integrity, look no further than Bill Nance Plumbing. This is the second time in the last couple of years that we needed to call a plumber and we could not be happier with the service we received.  Our hot water heater started to leak so we needed a replacement quickly.  I called the office at 7:00AM and by 10:00AM Nate was at my door.  The price quoted on the phone was more than reasonable and the job was done quickly.  I cannot recommend this company any more highly.  If you need a plumber, I don't think you will be disappointed by the quality of the work and fairness of the pricing.

Sky Country Pump Plumbing Service
Les just came over to help us with a chloroform problem we had in our well. We had another repair group come over and charge us $300 to chlorinate and didn't look into our UV system to properly diagnose the problem. Therefore, we still had a positive chloroform test.  Les however, figured out what the problem was and even showed us how to both chlorinate and de-chlorinate our pipes without charging us.  He only ended up charging us for the house visit at $90.  We will absolutely use these guys again. It's great to see such an honest and professional team.

Thomas was a great person to work with.  I made the mistake of not realizing  I had GFI outlets in my garage which is what tripped the system.  He was helpful, informative, and knowledgable.  He even was kind enough to waive the normal fee.
I am keeping his info around for the next time something comes up.

Drain Genius Plumbing Service
I noticed a back up at my basement drain, and called Drain Genius.  Dwight answered the phone and set up an appointment to fit into my schedule.  He and Shilo arrived on time and quickly cleaned the drain.  In addition, they put a camera down the line to check for breaks.  Luckily, there was no further problem.  They were professional, clean, and considerate.  You can be sure I will be calling them for annual checkups!  Their charge was quite reasonable and consistent with other drain work I have had completed in our home.  Thank you!!

Blue Sky Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electric Plumbing Service
Absolutely horrible service and obscenely expensive.  They installed a hot water heater which was ok, but a bit of a mess that I had to clean up upstairs where they installed it.  However, they left me with a water hammer that rattles and slams my pipes every time the toilet is flushed, but they then claimed weeks later when I called about it that it was not their fault or their problem (and yes they would be happy to charge me a big fee to fix it).  It did not exist before the hot water heater was installed.  The manager was supposed to call me about this, but could never be bothered.

I also found, when I looked around in my crawl space to see if I could fix it myself, that they had ripped off all of the insulation around my vent to the furnace and also left that pile of insulation and all of their scraps for ME to clean up.  Super expensive for the install because they knew I had few other choices, and then they wanted to charge me another huge fee to fix the water hammer that they created by not properly draining and testing the system after the hot water heater install.

Now I have a HUGE mess in my crawl space to clean up, I have to buy new insulation and re-wrap my venting and try to fix the water hammer myself since I am now so far in debt from the water heater that I simply can't afford to get it fixed by someone else.  Very disappointed and disgusted in this and all of the other work they have done for me lately.  I will not be using them again for anything since I am not interested in having my pocket picked (again) while they then leave me with a big mess to fix (again).

Note:  tried calling the manager as noted below and he never called me back.  Comments here are only for Yelp readers, apparently.

Sunshine Home Services Plumbing Service
A lot has transpired over time about this problem, so what I am writing here is to the best of my recollection.  I have emails I can provide for some of this, but of course verbal communications were never written down verbatim.
On January 9th, 2019, Sunshine installed came to my home to replace a central humidifier for me.  Four days earlier (January 5th, 2019), I had had a brand new Rheem gas water heater installed by another contractor.
The Sunshine technician found he had to drain a water line as part of the humidifier installation.  He could have drained the water into a bucket and dumped it in a nearby basement bathroom.  Instead, he thought he'd save himself some time by draining the water directly into the nearby emergency water heater drain pan.  At first, I thought nothing of it, as I assumed the technician knew what he was doing.
A few hours after the humidifier installation though, my water heater went out.  The status light was indicating a problem with the fuel sensor (a sensor to sniff out potential vapor/gas leaks).  I opened the access panel and found that the water in the drain pan must have wicked up through the vents in the bottom of the water heater.  The inside bottom of the water heater was all wet, and the water was even wicking up into all the insulation in the walls of the water heater.
I called up Sunshine to alert them to the problem.  To their credit, they quickly sent out a technician to fix the water heater.  The technician after a bit of study (he was somewhat unfamiliar with Rheem water heaters, as Sunshine installs only Bradford White water heaters), he was able to get and replace the fuel sensor and get the water heater working again.  He did mention to me that he had no idea why the Sunshine technician who replaced the humidifier would be so stupid as to drain the water into the drain pan.  Of course, there was still a lot of water inside the water heater, and he had no way to get it out.  He suggested leaving the access panel open, in the hope that the water would eventually evaporate from inside.
A day or so later though, the water heater went out again.  This time the status light was indicating a problem with the igniter.  I called Sunshine again, and this time William Frew, the owner called me.  I explain the situation and how it looked as though the water heater would need to be replaced.  He told me that that was NOT going to happen, but that he would personally make sure that the water heater would be repaired and all would be put right.
Mr. Frew came out personally to see what was going on.  He was able to replace the igniter and get the water heater working again.  He also found out that the original technician who had replaced my humidifier, besides screwing up my water heater, had also botched the humidifier installation.  Mr. Frew was also able to get that fixed as well, all the while mumbling about how good help is hard to find these days.  He again promised me that he would make sure that all was taken care of.  I even got him to agree that, if worst came to worst, and the water heater kept going out, he would indeed agree to replace the water heater.
A day or two after that, the water heater went out again.  This time it was again the fuel sensor.  As I happened to at that point have a spare fuel sensor, I was able to replace it and get the water heater running again.  From this point on though I have left the access panel off, and the fuel sensor pulled away from the water heater, in case it was water vapor that was causing the problem.
I also had the original contractor, who installed the Rheem water heater, come out to take a look at things.  He observed all the water inside and informed my that my Rheem 12-year warranty (one of the main reasons I selected this particular water heater) was now likely null and void.  He also told me that his installation warranty was also unfortunately, null and void as well.
I email Mr. Frew about the new problem and asked for his advice.  He replied that he really didn't know what else to do.  I replied back again asking for advice, or where we should go from here, but never received a reply back.  Over the next month or two, I emailed Mr. Frew many, MANY times, but never got a response.  It was only after I called the main office, as well as emailed Mr. Frew again, suggesting that I'd be leaving very negative feedback on every website I could find, as well as possibly bring lawyers into this that I finally heard back.
Sunshine emailed me that they would like to send out a technician to check up on the water heater and perhaps replace the fuel sensor.  I replied back that that would be fine, but I wanted to know first know what the long-range plan was if errors kept popping up.  The only reply I received was again asking me if I wanted to set up an appointment with a technician.  I again asked what the plan was in case this did not permanently fix the problems.
Eventually, Mr. Frew again contacted me, asking what wou

Unreliable. My appointment was rescheduled twice before they changed the date. I had stayed home from work to be available for the appointment, and it is very frustrating for them not to fulfill their end of the bargain. I went with another company that jumped though hoops to fix my air conditioner. Not recommended.
