We requested a sewer snake on a line going from an ejector pump to the main sewer line. The technician had no interest in trying to do the work, but he definitely recommended we replace our perfectLy functional hot water heater and put a water pressure regulator on our main line. Literally NO INTEREST in a problem focused visit to address the only issue we asked them to help with.

Anthony Rivera was very responsive and helpful in getting our new PHYN water detection system working properly. He took the time to explain why we were getting alert messages and then made a return trip to fix the problem. I recommend Anthony and Flatirons Plumbing without reservation.
Flatirons was great. The guys that came to do the work were on time, respectful, fair, and thorough. The technology used to keep us current on scheduling, transit, and completion was also simple and effective. Good job all around - will definitely use Flatirons again if I have another plumbing issue.
I wouldn't recommend anyone except Flatirons Plumbing. They came to a condo we were staying at within six hours of our call. They do not charge to come out and take a look. They gave us a quote for replacing the Fossett in our tub but also we're honest enough to say if we replaced a small part it would work. We were able to replace that part for under $20. That's a business who respects each customer. That's a business you can trust.

I do not recommend this company. Kyle was difficult to deal with and I wasn't sure if I hired him or he was my boss. Communication with Kyle was not good. I'm sure glad Flatirons has such a genius working for them.
The owner responded to my original post that the gentleman spent four hours on my job they did not they looked at the three potential jobs that they were going to quote and then waited for every single shower cartridge to be delivered to them outside of my house and proceeded to put it in in less than 30 minutes. I feel as I was significantly overcharged and I had no idea prior to the arrival that the $45 service fee was gonna grow to be over $700 for an out call fee.
Unfortunately Yelp doesnt allow less than one star! A tech came out to fix a thermocouple on our water heater. First, I had to weather his several attempts to tell me the water heater needed replaced. Then he tried to charge me $425 for a 30 minute job and a $20 part. Then he got angry with me when I said no way! So, I went to Home Depot and bought a $12 part and spent exactly 32 minutes changing it out. Water heater fired right up and runs perfectly. I called the company and asked what their hourly rate is for labor. She told me that the techs set the price for each job on their own and they dont have standard pricing. Stay away from this company, they will rob you blind!

Flatirons has successfully completed two major plumbing repair projects in my house. Their response time is incredible, communication from start to finish is incredible (including real time updates about arrival times) and the entire team goes above and beyond to ensure their customer service is amazing. They were able to diagnose a significant issue that was missed by multiple contractors who I'd brought in before. 100% my go-to team from here on out
The gentleman that fixed our toilet and leaking tub faucet was fast and friendly. Decent price and we will use them again when we need plumbing. Highly recommended!

They are advertised as having emergency services, but there are is no such thing, only a voicemail. Yelp needs to change that.

We've used this company twice now and they are amazing. On time, great communicators, thorough, considerate and professional. If you are hunting for a reliable, honest company - this is one.
Sometimes I wonder if Yelp reviews are written by relatives or friends of a company, but I'm just a homeowner and got lucky finding these guys.

Quick to respond. Did a good job. Was very nice and considerate. Asked before entering different rooms. Just wish it wasn't quite as expensive for them to drop the line. We could have gotten more quotes, to see if other places were cheaper but I bet prices would have been comparable to other companies. And we weren't sure about availability. We connected and and they were over with in an hr. He made sure the job was complete before leaving.
I seriously will not use them again. The guy came out, said he can fix the problem for 250, after two hours working on it, said it has more problem than he thinks and asked for 3000. He told me that I still need to pay the 250 even he didn't fix the problem. I felt stupid to pay him 3000, lesson learned. Never do that again.

Larry showed up on time, diagnosed the issue with my sump pump right away, and fixed it in less than 5 minutes. Thank you! This was supposed to be just a visit to diagnose and give an estimate but he was able to fix it quickly and didn't charge for the visit. Can't say that's every happened before...
Emergency pipe burst leaving standing water in basement. Receptionist was super responsive, courteous & empathetic. Tony was in my house assessing the damage within an hour, even on a Sunday afternoon. He was extremely professional, very thorough, adhered to Covid precautions & worked with our insurance. The price he quoted was way lower than we expected, given it was an emergency situation on a weekend. I already have and will continue to recommend Flatirons Plumbing to anyone, as these guys are great at running their family owned business.
Our sewer line backed up so we were excited these guys were coming over right away to get to the bottom of it.. Mark came over and did a sewer scope and said we needed to replace the whole line from the house past the clean outs. He said there was offsetting and bellying and that we needed over $10,000 worth of repairs. Turns out the offsetting is where the pipe goes from 4 to 3 and if we wanted to replace the whole thing we could do so for around $6,000. Also for even cheaper we could do just a spot repair or cleaning but we're never given that as an option. He was very short and rude as he overcharged for the scope and never gave us a report or a video which it says on there website is included. But now we know that they are just scam artists or just really bad at there job. I tried to be nice because I don't know anything about plumbing but now it's obvious they are just trying to take advantage of people that don't understand. Don't waste your time and money with this company. They deserve -50 stars. What a terrible experience.

I loved the service I received! I had a few issues one of which was a hidden leak. Kyle gave me an accurate bid and then spent hours fixing all my issues including finding that hidden leak. He was on time he was knowledgeable, polite and I felt completely comfortable having him in my house. I will use them again for any Plumbing issues I have
I called with an emergency water leak and I was unable to identify the location of the leak. Diana was wonderful setting up the service visit. Larry showed up within an hour. I don't have enough good things to say. Larry was quick and precise but took his time to educate me about the repair. Larry offered advice regarding future projects we are considering and based off the service provided, I won't be asking any other companies for a quote. If I could give 6 stars, I would. Thank you so much for helping to turn a rough morning into a good day.

Impressive at first. But $5000 later, we'd never use them again. We had a septic smell in our house. A guy we had worked with before at Flatirons came out to fix it. We had begun to lose faith in Flatirons and this plumber when, on the previous trip to our home, his solution to a problem was so inane that we will have to have it redone--and we paid $2000 for it. In fact, in under three months, we paid more than $5000 to flatirons, and yet they would not honor their own measly coupon for $40--the plumber didn't give it to them at the right time. They wanted to credit our account for the next time--but there will be no more next time. Anyway, the septic problem: the plumber said detecting the origin of a smell in a home was the hardest thing ever and in order to really do it right, he'd have to probably tear out some walls. We refused the service. Then we looked up a solution in YouTube. Guess what? We fixed it for under $20--by snaking the outside vent, then covering it with the appropriate cover.
I would highly recommend Flatirons Plumbing. The whole process was super easy. We had a backed up main drain and called late on a Friday afternoon. The person scheduling the call was super helpful and nice and worked with us to get an appointment scheduled as soon as possible. The technician was responsive, came on time, was courteous, quick, and got our drain fixed in no time. The whole experience was great!
Worked with Robert of Flatirons Plumbing today. We had a great experience. Robert is professional and very knowledgeable. Worked with us to find the best possible solution for our issue. I would highly recommend this company to others.
I called Flatirons Plumbing after I walked into my basement and found it flooding from my drain. Within 15 minutes of calling, Robert arrived at my door. He was extremely professional and kind. He went over the options with me and was completely upfront with pricing. He truly saved the day...and my basement as well. I have used this company before and each time they have been amazing. Technician, who I later learned was not even a plumber but an apprentice, arrived and without even trying to diagnose the problem I was having, quoted me $900 to replace my not-even-5 year old in sinkerator pro 333 with a 1/2 horsepower disposal that retails for $199. When asked for a lower cost option, I was quoted $600 to install a 1/3 horsepower disposal that retails for $99 and takes 45 min tops to install. Told the guy to take a hike!!! $500/hour is a pretty steep hourly rate for this work, I'd say.
This is highway robbery. Within the hour, I ended up ordering a 3/4 horsepower In Sink Erator via Amazon Prime Now for $197 and having it delivered within 20 minutes for $7.99. Hired an actual certified plumber to install it for $85. Total spend, $285.
Shudder to think what Flatirons would charge for a certified plumber to install a 3/4 hp machine. $1500? $2000??? Sky's the limit. BUYER BEWARE - they will send an apprentice out instead of a plumber, not even try to diagnose the problem, then quote exorbitant prices that have no bearing in reality.
Just had Flatirons Plumbing out to fix a job they quoted me after the first time I called about a year ago. I should have left a 5 star review back then but let's just say I'm doing it now for both visits. Flatirons Plumbing's staff is prompt, attentive and extremely detailed. Both times I've called them it was super easy to schedule an appointment and completely painless to sign off on the repairs. I cannot recommend them enough and I think the pricing is excellent for the quality of service they provide. They are thorough and know EXACTLY what they are doing. I would not hesitate to use them again or suggest them to anyone who needs help correcting remodel repairs or just some plumbing work done. If I could rate them higher than 5 stars I would!

These guys were great! Zack was on time and kept me informed of the costs all along. When the problem turned out to be more serious than I thought it might, he explained the problem and gave me the parts so I could see for myself. He was professional, efficient, and pleasant. I would definitely call these guys again if I have any plumbing problems.

Booked online and got a confirmation right away. I cancelled an important business meeting in order to stay home to meet the guy. Waited the full two hour window--no show. Called (got VM), texted--no answer. After 4 hours, called a different plumber (Dr. Drain) who got me in right away--technician was even early.
After getting the run around with the 1st company I worked with, I was fed up and called Flatirons. I called Saturday AM and Jim was at my place within 3hrs to look at my broken water heater.
He thoroughly explained the issue and discussed solutions. The job was much more in depth than originally anticipated but Jim didn't complain and knocked it all out for me on a Saturday. Jim has a great knowledge base and I highly recommend his services!

I had never contacted Flatirons Plumbing before, but based on other reviews, I called and spoke with Paul on a Wednesday with an urgent need. He was very gracious in helping me schedule an appointment for the next morning. They sent both email and text confirmations, which I really appreciated.
On Thursday morning, I received a follow-up text that John was headed to my home, right on time. He was extremely knowledgable and friendly, I completely trusted his expert analysis. My home's issue turned out not to be as urgent as I thought, but I wanted to post about them anyway because I think it's rare these days to find true experts in their field who are so pleasant to work with. Barret was right on time and immediately got to work!! Shoe covers and tarps spread everywhere prevented any mess which was much appreciated!! I was kept informed as he progressed on the toilet replacement and all went well until we turned the water back on and discovered that the main cutoff valve was now leaking! No problem for Barret, he had it replaced in no time!! He did a great job all around!! I highly recommend Flatirons Plumbing!
After the delivery and installation of our new washing machine, we discovered a leaky faucet connection. The service provided was professional, knowledgeable, and helped us with understanding other potential plumbing issues they could address when we're ready.

Flatirons is fantastic. I have had them come over for multiple jobs and they are always on-time, very nice, know what they are doing and get the job done great. I have had them come back for various touch-up work a few times and they have just been very accommodating to me and my family. I can not rave about Flatirons enough! From the moment I contacted them, it was clear they had professional and prompt service. I first emailed the company Sunday morning to have them come out and check out a weird issue going on with my shower. Within 30 minutes, they contacted me back stating they were able to come to my house to check out the issue the next day between 12-3. They informed me that they would give me a 30-minute heads up before they got there (which was SO helpful!)....however, turns out I didn't even need the heads up because they arrived exactly at 12.
John was so incredibly kind and helpful and walked me through the whole process. It was a pretty tricky issue, however, he started on it right away and did a variety of diagnostics to figure out the real issue (vs. masking the problem or jumping to the expensive/intrusive option right away). He spent a total of 4 hours and worked diligently throughout the whole process. He was such a nice guy, I know from now on he will be our go-to guy for anything plumbing related!
Again, I can't say enough about this company. It can be hard to find great people that you trust and enjoy being around, but Flatirons blew me away and I couldn't be happier! Thanks John for everything!

He fixed an ongoing issue I've had with a water boiler/heater for some time now within a few hours and everything is working great! Dave was able to get out to our house on the next business day to address a non-emergent plumbing problem. We were given a two hour window of time when the appointment was scheduled and received a text and a phone call at 20-30 minutes and 15 minutes out, which was made it easy to plan my day accordingly rather than having to sit around and wait all day. He was very knowledgeable about the issue and explained everything in detail to my husband and me. He was extremely professional, clean, and detail-oriented. He worked quickly and efficiently and had the problem resolved within a couple of hours, so we were very impressed. We will certainly be using this company for any and all plumbing needs in the future.

Outstanding service from start to finish--we appreciated the texts that provided updates, the calls to confirm services, and the prompt, professional customer service. However, what stood out the most was the exceptional service from Barret - he was knowledgable, friendly, and professional. We would definitely contact Flatirons Plumbing again and request Barret.

No one wants to wake up to a flooded basement but when we did Dave could sense the panic in my wife's voice and responded immediately. He was able to show up quickly and immediately went to work assessing what was wrong. He thoroughly explained my options and got started in diagnosing and solving the problem. A couple hours later he was packing up, the water was gone and the problem solved. He provided me a clear explanation of what caused the problem and what to look out for. Adam was on time and very patient in explaining the problem with my water heater. He gave me a fair estimate on replacement, and an explanation of all of the piping that would be replaced. He did the install, explained everything I would need to know about the new equipment, and charged me exactly the amount of the estimate. Adam was very friendly and made sure I was satisfied before he presented the bill.
I would highly recommend Flatirons and Adam to anyone needing a plumber.

I can't say enough about how great Flatirons Plumbing is. I've worked in real estate for 15 years. Finding an excellent plumbing contractor who I feel comfortable using as well as referring friends and clients to has always been a challenge. That was until I met Paul and his crew at Flatirons Plumbing. In my numerous interactions with Flatirons they have always been prompt, friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and honest. For most services they provide you with multiple options so you can decide which option works best for you. They also have a great system for booking, tracking your service, and paying your bill. If you need plumbing work call Flatirons Plumbing.
If you are looking for a plumbing company that is quick to respond, has the best equipment with a family small-business feel, looks at a problem systematically (looking at the WHOLE system, not just the tiny problem you might have), then this is the company for you. Dave Choka not only fit me in on the SAME day, but the price he quoted me was exactly what I paid (and not a penny more, even when the job ended up being bigger than he thought). In addition, he was thorough in his explanation to me, and a whole lot of fun to have in my home. Look no further - this is your plumbing company!

Great company!! I would highly recommend Flatirons Plumbing. They were able to get me on their schedule quickly and had dialog with me until the problem was fixed. Zach Demare was also very professional and friendly. He explained the entire process and took the time to answer all of my questions.
Mike was great. He came buy to look at my boiler late on a Friday afternoon and was able to troubleshoot it quickly so we had hot water and heat for the weekend. He was very kind and professional. I will definitely use him again.

Flatirons Plumbing was quick to respond to my request. They came out that same day within hours. They fixed my backed up drain and other plumbing concerns they had. They fixed the problem that day. They will now be the plumbing company I use in the future! Would definitely recommend them to others.
This is a follow-up on my earlier review on Thumbtack. It turns out the original problem we needed to be addressed was not resolved by the work we felt we over-paid for. Paul and Trevor were very nice but they did not diagnose the problem correctly.
