Marco is a great electrician and super nice! He diagnosed the issue promptly, and then replaced my doorbell chime in time for my condo sale, as I was able to schedule his visit quickly (within a day). Great experience! Thanks, Piper Electric!!

This is my favorite lighting store. Family owned. Dog friendly. Lots of ideas and everyone is very helpful.

I wanted to give GTD Electric a better review, but unfortunately they chose to be unprofessional and ignore my repeated attempts to resolve an issue.
In regards to the quality of the work, it was excellent and once they came out, fast. My issue is that I paid them in advance, my mistake, and they left without doing a final walk through with me. When I discovered some missing items I emailed them to have them come back out and finish; Work that would have taken ten minutes max. (There was one outlet that missing and two switch plate covers.) I emailed them several times, several days apart and was ignored; I tired calling and the phone went to voicemail.
I still recommend them based on quality of work, but I would recommend holding back 10% or so of the bill until you are satisfied with the work.

Marty with Silk City Electric is top notch. I needed someone with true expertise for my project and he delivered. He was friendly, honest and affordable. Will hire again. Would give 6 stars if I could!

I have had Scott do several jobs for me including two service panel replacements, and doing all the rough and finish electrical work on our kitchen remodel. Scott is a true professional, who is up on all current electrical codes for all areas he works. He is reasonable and more than fair in his pricing, and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone needing electrical work, big jobs or small. He is very friendly and a pleasure to have working for you. He does everything he can to explain in terms his customers understand, what the problems are, and the best solutions for fixing them. I will be calling Scott for all my future electrical needs.

Contacted Chadwick after seeing their reviews. We were not disappointed. From getting back to us quickly and keeping us informed of who was coming to our home and when they would be there. Showed up on time and completed the work in the time allottede and for the quoted price. We will certainly use them again.

This company is super sketchy.
The work itself was done fine, although the tech, Sam, seemed unhappy and irritated to be there. We had some light fixtures installed.
The sketchy part that is that this contractor refused to give us their W-9 after we issued payment. We are required by law to obtain a W-9 for any work over $600 from all contractors from our account to prove that we issued these funds and that the contractor received this income.
I called and emailed but they refused. Now it makes sense that they offer a 5% discount for cash-only payment (not even for checks) and refuses to give out a W-9 for any work over $600 (even though it is required by law) so they can avoid paying taxes.
It seems unfair that they charge market rate AND avoid paying taxes, swindling money from the average American.

We were in need of an electrician on the Sunday of Labor Day weekend so I reached out on Yelp for help and Eric at Copper Rose responded that day! He even came out on Labor Day to look at the problem and didn't charge us extra for that. He had the part ordered and fixed the issue within 2 days. The price was so reasonable and Eric was professional and helpful. We will be calling him for any electrical needs we have!

They only do estimates over the phone so expect to pay 2-4x more than the quote. It's also not 2 electricians that come like I was told, it's one electrician and an apprentice who admitted to us that he was brand new and didn't know anything. So really you're paying $185 an hour for one electrician and an assistant. Big difference. They'll get you in with their seemingly low price. The owner told me it would take an hour. I understand it taking maybe 2 hours, but 4 hours for 2 outlets is unacceptable. This company just has no idea how to manage customer expectations.
I specifically told them that the basement was unfinished for adding the wiring to the new outlet but when the electrician arrived he said he didn't have the right tool to do that. So he wasted time trying another route through the studs but found ducting that he could have seen if he had checked out the basement beforehand. Yes, it was visible from the basement but he didn't even bother to look before starting so he cut unnecessary holes in our wall and wasted a ton of time.
There was no foresight or planning with this company. He ended up having to run to Home Depot to get the tool and go through the basement like I originally told them. Then the owner threatened to charge me for the tool when I called to discuss the invoice and the wasted time, and he also tried to guilt trip me about wanting the electricians to work for free. You'd think you could trust a professional to know what they're doing but with this company you have to fully determine and plan everything ahead of time because they won't. I should have heeded the warning of another reviewer that the owner is argumentative but I gave him the benefit of the doubt.
Lastly, they also left insulation on the basement floor without putting it back and the cleanup was sub-par. Still had to sweep and mop after they left. I will say the guys that came to do the work were friendly and the actual electrician seemed knowledgeable. That's about it.
Update after owner's comment:
He is putting words in my mouth. He never offered to come out, just immediately gave me the quote of one hour when I explained what I needed. I never said it was a few inches, I told him it was a 90 degree turn on the wall a couple feet over. There was ducting--see attached pictures. It is visible from the basement. I wish I had inspected that sooner but of course I trusted the technician to know what to look for and make the appropriate action plan.
Once again, I did not ask for free work but wanted an adjustment for the wasted time and all he offered was $50. To reiterate, 2 outlets were more than $800 which is over 4x more than I was quoted even after his discount. It's hard to talk to him on the phone though because he just kept putting words in my mouth and guilt tripping me (as you can see from his response as well). I never specified an amount, I just simply asked if he could work with me on the invoice since so much time had been wasted that they could have easily avoided had they checked out the basement like I told them. He also never gave a quote on material so that extra on the invoice was a surprise as well.
When they ran into the issues, they said they were going to get it all taken care of so what did he expect me to do? Ask them leave with the place a mess and the wall left gaping open and nothing actually accomplished? My problem is that they could have so easily inspected the basement, realized their plan wouldn't have worked and done it correctly from the beginning. I was only asking a reduction for the wasted time. And if they had a vacuum to clean, they certainly didn't use it.
Let his response be an indicator of how he conducts his business. He's twisting the story, putting words in my mouth, belittling me and astonishingly sent a personal message antagonizing me.

Titus installed lighting and a wall receptacle for us. I originally went with them because their price was not only the lowest, but their availability was immediate (next-day service for first service request, same-day service for second request). My wife and I are very pleased with the work they did. They were professional, courteous, and thorough -- asking us for our preferences with positioning, etc.; cleaning up their work; and being knowledgable and patient as we worked with them to choose our recessed lighting layout. On a personal level, I was very happy to have Dakota and Nighwon in our home -- very nice guys who do great work. Marc Prinz hires great electricians, go with Titus; you won't regret it and you may even end up with new friends!

Bob has been working on my home for several months. He has been great to have around, as he is often willing to help me with projects I can't quite do on my own. To date, Bob has fixed outlets, framed out a door, patched drywall, installed flat disc LED lights, moved cabinets, taken out built-in bookshelves, tightened banisters... the list goes on. His pricing is straight forward and Bob will communicate any delays or decisions points as they come up. Highly recommend booking him for your next project!

Beyond first-rate service, from the person who took my first call and scheduled the work to the two young men who did the work. I had two lights replaced with ceiling fans plus a new electrical switch installed and an existing ceiling fan repaired for the wobbles. The guys were early, worked quickly and efficiently, gave me options, didn't try to oversell, cleaned up when they were done, and found the time to review my future lighting needs and provide an estimate. Even better, my dogs loved them -- a sure sign that all is well. I'll definitely hire them again without hesitation.

John Tanner came to the house and gave me a great quote on moving a gas line for a new stove. He got the job done quickly and professionally. From initial call to work being completed, they were very pleasant to work with. Quick responses to emails and excellent quality work. I definitely recommend them.

Ours is an old house with iffy wiring, or at least iffy to me. We weren't in a financial position to rewire the entire house. A friend recommended we call Mike at Mytek. He returned my initial call promptly and scheduled a look-see within a couple of days. When he came out he took his time to inspect the entire house, along with its two electric panels, one ancient, the other not so new either. He carefully explained our options and then sent a detailed bid sheet.
Mike turned out to be the perfect electrician for the job. He was thorough and persisted in figuring out the source of some extra-voltage issues we had. He did what needed to be done -- period. In other words, he didn't try upselling us. He explained what he was doing, and why, and patiently answered all our questions. Most importantly, he gave us peace of mind. And he did it for a very reasonably cost.
I heartily recommend Mike.

I've used Couper Electric multiple times over the past few years and they are just fantastic. The first time I called it was for a smoking ceiling fan in one of my kid's room, it was 5:00 on a Friday and I was afraid it was a fire hazard. Dave the owner of Couper stopped on his way home to look at the fan and took care of the immediate problem. When I asked him what I owed him - he said I owed him nothing, no trip fee, no service fee, nothing. He just wanted to make sure we were safe at and asked me to give him a call if we wanted to install a new fan. We have been using Couper Electric for all of our electrical needs ever since. Dave and his team of electricians are always on time, professional, do amazing work and have very reasonable rates. I can't say enough wonderful things about this company - they are just the best.

TNT installed some lighting for me but one of the units went bad. I've tried for weeks to get a warranty claim for the fixture, but I cannot get a reply from tnt.
Very disappointed. All I ask is for a call to the lighting manufacturer.
