Nick and Shelly were so nice. I stopped in to this contractor supply company to see if I could get some lighting that I've been looking for, and if I found it I would send my contractor here to pick it up for me but they did not have it. They were able to give me a couple of ideas that who I could contact.
If I was an actual contractor I WOULD go back.

I have used A Current Electrician many times over more than 10 years. Scott is exceptionally competent and fair. Please keep in mind that when you hire Scott, you are hiring a true professional with very high standards who does it right the first time. He's not a fly by the seat of his pants kind of person. Scott shows up with a meticulously stocked truck. He does class A work, and charges a fair price. I can't say enough good things about him. If you want it done right, hire A Current Electrician.

Bill and his crew did a fantastic job wiring up a wall. I asked him if he could make it early in the morning (I start work around 6AM) and he agreed to show up a 6AM to finish the job. He was at the house promptly at 6AM and got the job done. Very professional...no mess left behind. Highly recommend All Wired Up Electric for your electrical needs.

Hot Tub wiring. Needed power safely established to the new tub. The tub was completed early and I accepted. This led to a last minute scramble for an electrician. Luckily John at Reliable Electric had time that fit the tub delivery. I prefer small business owners as a rule and found his work exceptional. He listened to what I wanted. We discussed the options in detail. The plan was decided and implemented quickly. John is smart and honest. He completed the work in a timely fashion. The cost was more than fair and he was upfront with no up charging during the process. I would not hesitate in recommending him to anyone.

Bill Swan, the owner of Highplains, is not only very knowledgeable but he is also very nice and has always been very fair. He has helped me with various small jobs over the years and quickly gets to the heart of the problem and has always been reasonable in his charges. He is the kind of businessman everybody wants to do business with, and the kind that have become all to rare these days.

I contacted four different electrical contractors. Only two returned my calls. Louis Lucero with High Caliber Electric and Jason Quynn with Quynn Electric both came to my house to give quotes on the work that needed to be done. Louis left a quote with me before he left. Jason said he would email the quote to me the following day. After two days I called their office and was told that they were still waiting for pricing from their supplier before giving me a quote. After a week I didn't hear from Quynn Electric and had High Caliber Electric do the work. Louis replaced all the circuit breakers in my box, after 40 years they were starting to fail and not trip. He ran a new line into the living room and installed additional outlets. He also ran some new outlets in the garage. He also diagnosed a rather serious problem with the wiring in our living room where a neutral wire wasn't installed correctly and we had arcing issues. I was very pleased with his work ethic, professionalism, knowledge and friendliness. Any problems he found he took the time to show me and explain what he was doing to correct the problem. He also patiently answered any questions I had. I felt what he charged for his work was more than fair and reasonable for the time he invested. I highly recommend High Caliber Electric. They do honest, excellent work for a fair price.

If you want to find electricians who will get the job done in a professional and honest manner, GRAF Electric is the company to go with. Fielding was able to give my husband and I a detailed assessment of what could be accomplished and what would be the most affordable option along with other options. He also checked in to see the progress of the work and was accommodating to any changes or additions that were asked for. Orlando and Johny were excellent in installing all the ceiling fans and fixing the electrical issues found in the house. They were very knowledgeable and took the time to investigate the unique wiring to the house in order to do their job correctly and safely. They always cared about the satisfaction of the customer and doing a great job. They explained in detail the issues found and how they would approach the issue to resolve it. They ensured to keep the area as clean as possible and were methodical in how to do the various tasks around the house without much disruption. They were all kind and professional, which is hard to find nowadays. I highly recommend them if you need someone to resolve your electrical issues. Thank you GRAF Electric.

Absolutely fabulous workmanship. Very knowledgable, professional, thorough and works in an efficient manner. Tyler was able to repair my unit after 2 other companies were not able to find the issue! He found and resolved the issue very quickly and communicated all issues as he repaired my unit. Tyler respected my time and my home. I can't speak highly enough of him. Start with T2. You won't be disappointed, I just wish I had!

This is my second time using Jack and he is wonderful! The first time was to hang new light fixtures in my house and the most recent was a thermostat that wasn't working. Long story short, it was more than the thermostat and turned into issues with our boiler. Not only did Jack help to get someone over for the boiler, but he helped us get multiple quotes from people he trusted and even offered to drop off electric heaters while we were dealing with the issue. We will be calling him again!

We needed an emergency outlet repair at my father's home and Elijah @ JM electric was able to be there in just a couple of hours. Excellent communication, called to let us know when he was 30 minutes out....and, even then, he was early! The associates were very friendly and Elijah was very patient with our elderly father, explaining exactly what he was going to do and answering all of his questions. I found JM from a referral on Nextdoor and we were very pleased!

I contacted 3 electricians for quotes to replace the electric throughout a 1907 home and install a new panel. Carry the Light had the best solutions and the best price. His crew was professional and worked through unforeseen issues. Steve also helped me to work with city inspectors and get service hooked up again with Xcel. Highly recommend Carry the Light.

Ideal electric is the electrical contractor for KB homes at the Westwoods Mesa development. Since buying our home last year there have been many problems with electrical being the biggest problem. Our breakers keep tripping and I am absolutely certain we are not overloading them. The first time I filed a complaint the electrician that came out admitted to me that the panels that were installing were cheap and they had to replace other panels another homes. Now it appears they are back-tracking and trying to put blame on we the homeowners. After several complaints to the warranty department at KB, the owner of ideal Electric came out to my house and looked around and then proceeded to give me a lecture about how to plug in small appliances and where and when to use them. Apparently we cannot use a coffee maker and the toaster at the same time? So much for breakfast.
I felt this gentleman KB sent from ideal electric (apparently the owner) was rude and condescending. We still have a problem with Breakers tripping but I am unsure what to do next. I would advise people do their research before buying from KB Homes in the Denver area especially when they use ideal electric.

What a disappointing company. First time writing a negative review but the service and company ethics are so egregious that I found myself compelled to let everyone know what happened to me.
We had blue sky plumbing come in and give us a bid for an evaporating cooler in early summer. We had a previous bid given to us last year by them. I called their head quarters and asked if the bid was still good from last year. They asked to send the 2015 bid back to the the guy who wrote the bid. So I did. He made some cost adjustments but submitted it back. After we got back from our vacation I called and said I was ready to move forward, they notified me that the person who wrote the bid no longer works for the company but would honor the bid. So I signed and gave the 50% deposit. Contract signed.
2 weeks later the installers (last Friday) came in and wanted me to sign a waiver that they are not responsible for shingle damage, which was the 1st problem, the foreman said it was a no go without the waiver being signed then and there. He went into the attic and said he could not do the job because the entrance into the attic was too small for his equipment and the joists were 13 inches apart rather than 16 inches apart and that I would need a framer to frame around the joist and make a bigger entrance into my attic. None of this was in the original contract, which I told him. He proceeded to tell me that that original employee no longer works for the company. I told the foreman that the original person's employment is not my problem, we have a signed contract and they have accepted my money already.
I told him to forget it, don't touch my roof. They left. I called their headquarters and the lady, who I had been dealing with the whole time, was rude and didn't bother to apologize. She said my money would be returned in 2 days. Never heard back from them.
I'm still wondering if I have legal recourse for their breach of contract. I'm sure they would have been all over me if I had breached the contract on my part.
But there you go guys, that's what happened to me and our house. I'm a reasonable person but this is completely unprofessional for a company of this size. I will be taking this complaint to the BBB as well.
