Todd's Water Heater Repair - Install

Today I had a new water heater installed by Todd's rep, Alan. The work was completed very quickly and neatly, with no mess or worry. He took time to explain all of the settings, point out the hot spots to avoid when in the service room, and even gave energy-saving recommendations for those times when we're traveling. The parts and service guarantee is above average at 6/3 years respectively.

This is a family owned small business that relies on word-of-mouth recommendations, which I am happy to provide.

These guys are great! When our water heater went out we called around to some other companies and got quotes that Todd's beat by $1600!  They gave us advice at 9:30pm when most other companies wouldn't take your call. Alan was here the next day to install the tank on time and was professional, friendly and did a great job, Highly recommend Todd's.

Highly recommended, and did a great job.  Todd's responded very quickly to our tankless water heater unit failing and leaking water, and quoted us a fair price on a large new one. They came the next day, and their plumber Alan did an excellent job installing a new unit in our tiny utility room  (and stayed late to finish).  It works perfectly, and he cleaned up the area completely before leaving.

I was in a pinch and needed my water heater and master bath shower looked at so I sent a message on Yelp to get local quotes. I chose Todd's based on their rating and by how friendly Todd was with his prompt responses. He was very accommodating and said his team can take a look at my issues-no problem . Alan, my assigned tech, reached out to me within hours and I got on his calendar the very next day. Alan and Juan were on time and super helpful with all my plumbing concerns. They drained my water heater and gave it a good tune-up and immediately resolved my issues. No messes either. Although they typically service bigger jobs like water heaters, Alan also took a look at my shower faucet since it had been dripping. 2 hours later they helped me with my water heater, shower leak, and helped me replace my kitchen faucet. A+++ service! I now have hot water, no more leaks within the master bath, and I love my new kitchen faucet. The best part? They were transparent, trustworthy, professional, and tactful through it all and my total bill was super affordable - all things that are hard to come by. Thanks guys!

I highly recommend Todd's Water Heater Repair.  I called them on Saturday and the lady answering the phone was extremely pleasant and helpful.  She has me send pictures of my old water heater to Mike.  He called me within 15 minutes and thoroughly explained the replacement process and asked me questions about the current unit.  He explained the replacement process and any add-on's to give me a total cost.  Mike just installed my new water and was true to form.  Everything he explained to me was what he did when installed the water heater.  When he was finished he explained everything to me and how to maintain it on a yearly basis.  The entire process was transparent and I'm very satisfied with Todd's!   Mike certainly made a difference and he did a good job!!!

This company is great! First, they were straight with me and recommended a Bradford White tank rather than Rheem or AO, both of which have a horrible record of breakdowns and terrible customer service. Next, they gave me an all-inclusive price that was $650 less than other companies. Third, they are a family business, stand by the products they sell, and are wonderful to work with. Lastly, they did a great job installing, then teaching me how to flush the unit in a year or two.

The reviews are spot on.  Our water heater went out, called Todd's at 7pm at night, was given instructions to send info and pictures via email, Mike called me next morning w/ thorough details and a quote.  He even offered to come out that evening to install but we scheduled for following morning.  The quote given was slightly lower than another bid we received.
Mike called 30 min before arrival, showed up, got the work done.  We live in an old Victorian with steep steps to basement.  Basement is mostly dirt dig out w/ small space for water heater.  Not the most pleasant work spot but Mike made it seem like it was business as usual.  Got it done in less than a few hours. Nicest guy and clearly knows his stuff.  Water heater looks and works great.  Highly recommend!

I found Todd's from the great yelp reviews when our water heater went out and started leaking all over the basement.  I sent a picture and got a call right away with a quote and a few hours later I called back to schedule the replacement for the next day.  The installer Alan was exceptional!  He was  friendly, knowledgeable and did a wonderful job replacing the water heater and also our water pressure reducer valve.  From start to finish this company was fabulous and I would highly recommend them!

I needed a new water heater and installation and selected Todd's Water Heater Repair because of the excellent Yelp reviews and good pricing, which was more affordable than any other business I got quotes from.  Very quick response and very accommodating in scheduling me quickly which was important because I did not have hot water for 2 days.  I worked with Alan.  He was able to give me a quote over the phone after I sent him several pics of my existing water heater and location/setup.  The price he quoted me was exactly what I was charged - not a penny more or less. I got 5 different quotes for a water heater replacement, and Todd's came in the most reasonable. I worked directly with Mike, who is not only knowledgeable but patient and friendly. He accommodated on a Sunday morning, and texted me each step of the way. Everyone I had contact with was kind -- a breath of fresh air when you're in a stressful water-leaking situation (right before a vacation, no less!). Thankful for this small business and the folks who run it.

We had a wonderful experience with Todd's Water Heater Repair recently.  Todd called us back right away after we put in an inquiry with him for a quote.  He advised us that he would install other brands of water heaters, but that he would want a picture and look at our current set-up in our basement to see what would be 100% right for our situation.  We only knew a little about replacement water heaters from what we had just learned from a local big box store, so Todd's expertise was invaluable, and we ended up purchasing a much much better, efficient water heater than if we had just relied our own limited knowledge to make the purchase.

Todd arranged a date for his team to come out and offered a great price.  His team was very courteous - no handshaking and safe distancing (coronavirus), job got done quickly, and best of all the new water heater is awesome!  We have everything we wanted from the replacement - a new water heater that allows us to have plenty of hot water, and no competing with the dishwasher, clothes washer running at the same time.  We have it all now with a great new unit.  Highly recommended to anyone who needs a Water Heater repair or a new water heater!  Five Stars.

One of the reasons why I chose Todd's Water Heater Repair was because of the excellent YELP ratings and I wasn't let down. Mike responded to my messages quickly and answered all the questions that I had. i could tell he was knowledgeable and provided options that worked best for me. He arrived within the 2 hour time block and texted 30 minutes ahead of time.

He replaced my water heater quickly. When he was finished, he answered all of my questions and explained the warranty and yearly maintenance.

Todd and his crew were OUTSTANDING from start to finish. I put out a bid request on some plumbing work to multiple business owners that came up on Yelp, and Todd was quick to respond, and his quote came in significantly lower than most. Some others were trying to charge $300-$400 for what ended up being a 1-2 hour job, which is like highway robbery given the straight forward work, which was just literally swapping one sink for one that was nearly identical. Todd came in very reasonably priced, and was even willing to go outside of his normal scope of work to get me taken care of, and he also got me scheduled in quickly.

He kept up a good line of communication, and was very friendly over the phone.

His tech arrived within the arrival window, and was super friendly, and even wore booties to protect my freshly refinished hardwood floors, which was an added bonus!! He took careful instruction of my needs, and executed on the job flawlessly.

Our new sink looks fabulous, and I couldn't be more thankful for Todd and his team. I am absolutely going to consider his company for when we replace our water heater, and go tankless in the near future.

I don't often give five star reviews.  Normally a four star is about as high as a business can expect.  I love the pizza at Big Bill NY. . .but is it good as a Coal Fired White clam in Connecticut?  No - so no five star for you big bill

Todd's water heater is a rare exception.  I contacted several businesses via yelp and Todd promptly replied.  He outlined options and suggested a water heater I  had not thought of (my old one was Rheem and that is all home depot sells).  Reviewing the water heater online I found the reviews/feedback was similar to Todd's recommendation.  

They are ready to schedule quickly (since people have broken water heaters) but I had some time.

Even during a pandemic and a snow storm they showed up within their window, and got the work done in the time.

The price was exceptional . . .which was amazing since the service was so good.  Todd beat the other offers I had.

I also advise you to watch out for home depot. This isn't their dishwasher or appliance install. . .they toss you to a local business. . .I went to home depot a week ago. Within that week Todd contacted me, arranged a date, and installed.  Home Depot hasn't called me back!

Mike is not only the best plumber, but the best contractor of any kind I've ever worked with, bar none.

He replaced my water heater only a few hours after I called the office, the day before Thanksgiving.  He was on time, efficient, friendly, and most of all, trustworthy.  He also charged a very reasonable price.  And rather than trying to sell me on a bunch of expensive upgrades I didn't need, he specifically advised against them.

I asked him to come back a couple weeks later for a different, unrelated add-on to our plumbing system.  Once again, he was on time and texted when he was on his way.  After he arrived, I told him some new information about our plumbing system which made the add-on a bad idea.  He explained everything I needed to know in a way that made sense to an average homeowner.  And he didn't charge me anything for the trip, even after I offered to pay.

Stop searching on Yelp.  Just hire Mike for whatever plumbing job you have.  I promise you won't regret it.

Our water heater failed, so I called and left a message.  Mike called back and was able to come out same day and do a full water heater replacement.  It was late in the day, but he made it on schedule, the installation was quick and super clean, and he gave me some pointers on how to extend the life of the heater.  I'd definitely recommend Mike's services for water heater repair/replacement!

This place is LEGIT and so professional. I had my water heater replaced- the technician was on time- completed the job within the time frame quoted and did not up charge. Very reasonably priced- great quality and excellent service. I will be using them for all my plumbing repairs from here on out.

Woke up on a Saturday morning, no hot water, not able to light heater pilot, dead water heater.  Called Todd's, received a call back within 20 minutes.  On a Saturday.  Tried calling several other repair services, no response ( until Monday).  Todd's is a small local company, my fav to support.  My old water heater was more than 10 years old.  Technician Mike explained service required, then texted me with pricing, very reasonable pricing.  I opted not to pay extra for weekend service, and scheduled an appointment to replace water heater on the following Monday.  On Monday Mike texted to let me know his arrival time.  New water heater installed by 10:30 Monday morning.  Mike took the time to explain how the new heater worked, service warranty, operating instructions, yearly maintenance requirements.  Very professional service.  You can't go wrong, choose Todd's!

My water heater suddenly started leaking Friday afternoon. I was able to schedule a next day install of a new one with Todd's Water Heater. Mike showed up on time and was very helpful throughout the process; answering all my questions.

Florentino did a fantastic job replacing the very old and corroded GI line to my water heater with newer copper and pex. He kept me informed throughout the day over text and pricing was very reasonable. I'll definitely be coming back!

Mike installation was very professional. He wore a mask, which I was looking for. There was no surprises on cost. The quote was exactly as stated. Furthermore, it was great to hear, how to keep the water heater maintained. I am very happy that I have a commercial grade model. Todd's is a smaller company that depends on providing great service that huge companies are lacking.

My roommate and I woke up to a serious issue - no hot water!! With this recent drop in temps there was no way we were showering in the cold. After speaking with our landlord about options for getting the water heater checked out, we were referred to Todd's! Being fairly new at living in an actual home and not an apartment, this whole ordeal was incredibly daunting for us and we were nothing but worried about logistics and cost, especially being in an older home with a hard to get to heater.

We called up Todd's and they were able to get a tech out to us very quickly. Chris was incredibly helpful and personable, being ignorant renters we were really relieved to receive great service. Chris quickly identified the issue and was able to fix it on the spot! Since it was a simple issue, the price was incredibly fair for the service. It's rare that you find this kind of service for the price! Plus, he went the next step to let us know of a couple ways to conserve on our water heater costs which is helpful for learning young adults. I call that a slam dunk in customer care.

A property inspector discovered our water heater was leaking both water and gas so we were in a hurry to have it replaced ASAP.  Todd and his crew were able to give us a reasonable quote over the phone only with a few photos. He was super responsive and got the job done quickly and even discounted the original quote when he found out I was a teacher.  We look forward to using them again in the future!

Called because we smelled gas. She asked what brand and model. I told her and she said they wouldn't work on it because it's sold by a big box store and not very good. I researched for months and this brand and model gets great reviews. Guess they didn't think they'd make much money off  of us with either repairs or replacing it (it's less than 6 months old).

My 37 year old water heater was replaced by Todd's Water Heater Repair.  When I contacted them they responded quickly and I spoke with Mike. Mike was very personable and explained my water heater options clearly.  The price he gave me was the best of the estimates I had received.  We set an appointment and mike arrived promptly.  He got to work right away and did a very professional job on the installation.  As he worked, he explained everything that  he was doing any why he was doing it.  He finished the job in a timely manner.  Before he left he explained everything I needed to know about the heater.  Next time I need a plumber I'll call Todd's.

The water heater went out at one of my rental properties so I began looking for a company to replace it. I called about 4 companies 3 of which didn't answer and after leaving a message never called me back. The folks at Todd's answered and had their lead technician, Allan call me back within a few hours. He had us send him pictures in order to properly quote us. I previously received the quote which ended up being $900 more than what Todd's was charging.
I scheduled with them and although they got behind schedule they maintained contact. They ended up arriving at night and installed it. I think most companies would have just pushed it to the next day, but they stuck to it and got the job well done.

Todd was a great help when we needed advice and a possible quick water heater replacement for the sale of our home. While we were lucky in that we ended up NOT having to replace the water heater in the end, Todd called me multiple times to answer my questions and was willing to squeeze me in to get the job done. His price was very fair. I would highly recommend calling Todd for a quote if you are in need of this type of service!

Our hot water heater went out suddenly. We called a big company and their quote was expensive. Todd took care of us. They sent out a repairman quickly and was able to get it replaced for cheaper, faster and friendlier then the first company we had out.

Mike came out the next day after our water heater had a fatal leak. The entire experience was professional, informative and helpful. The water heaters they use are better quality and made in the USA. We got a walkthrough on how to light the pilot light and how to do yearly maintenance. I have found a great plumber, finally!! Highly recommend these folks.

Worked with Master Plumber Mike on replacing an aged out water heater. He took the time to talk to me about the options and gave a thorough breakdown in pricing. The quote for the replacement was great and they didn't upcharge for anything extra. The quote over the phone was what I paid. Mike was professional and efficient on the install. Left the mechanical closet looking great. It was also extremely helpful in expaining the continued maintenance of the device. Overall great experience.

They went out of their way to meet our needs with a replacement water heater. The installer was professional, knowledgeable and very friendly.

Todd called beyond his business hours to make sure our needs were met and followed up better than I could have hoped to make sure we were satisfied with the product and service.

One word of caution though - the water heater on the lowest setting will blow your mind with the hot water flow and temperature, even on the lowest setting.

Tony did a great job installing the new Bradford White water heater. They are a bit expensive however with the install cost the same as the water heater cost. They came out the same day I called..

I was nervous to venture into the world of water heater repairs. Can you say adulting?
I found Todd's and gave them a call. From the first conversation I knew I was in good hands. They were very helpful educating me about their services, not at all condescending, like a friend chatting with me. They made sure not to pressure my girlfriend and I into using them, even suggesting we shop around to be sure we were getting the best deal with them. We were so impressed with them that we booked them right away even though the next day was the soonest they could get to us.
We were so happy we chose Todd's. Our repair technician showed up just when we were texted to expect them, he explained to us where they get their materials from and I felt relief that good warehouse supplied pieces were going into our home. The price we were quoted was what we paid (no hidden surprises or beating around the bush). I forgot to get a receipt and when we reached out for one they emailed it to us in just an hour (I love a prompt response and knowing I'm not going to have to keep pestering someone).
I'm so happy with my experience with Todd's, they were exceptional every step of  the way. They're my guys from now on!

I called at 11 on Sunday, Allen was at my house with a new water heater a couple of hours later. He was super polite, got the job done in less than an hour, and even tightened the screws on my door knob on his way through.

He also answered my dumb questions, which I always appreciate.

When I saw the water seeping out of my old tank, I was prepared for a long, hard day of waiting and worrying, but, man, this was painless. I'm thoroughly impressed with the company, and with Allen in particular.

Working w/ Todd's was a great experience.  They were very upfront about the rates and flexible on install date.  They had me send them pictures so they knew what they were working w/ for the size of water heater and where it was installed.  My water heater is in an outside closet/storage so I didn't even have to be home for the install.  I left town for a few days on business and when I got home my new water heater had already been installed.  Easy peasy.  Would def recommend these guys!!!

Awesome customer service and great company to work with. They scheduled me right away and got the water heater installed. Fair pricing and did it all over the phone with photos. After being delayed by another job, Mike still worked into the evening and got the water heater installed in a tight space easily. We had some issues with a boiler leaking afterwards and they went above and beyond to figure out what was going on and charged a fair price after multiple trips out and spending a lot of extra time to make sure the boiler was working properly even though it was not part of the original estimate. We are very appreciative of their hard work and customer service.

Todd's was super great.  I had an old water heater and wanted to replace it before I had an emergency situation (been there before. don't want to be there again).  I used Yelp to get a quote.  Todd's quote was very competitive and reviews were strong.  They scheduled it quickly, arrived on time and did the job very well.  Would highly recommend and use them again.

Alan and his helper did an excellent job replacing my hot water heater.  Their price was fair and they were able to come out the same week and perform the work.  I would recommend this company to others and will use them again if another issue requiring their expertise arises.

The Saturday before Easter, my husband discovered that our water heater was spewing water like a fountain. He had to turn off all the water to the house. (Not the greatest way to spend the weekend.) I turned to Yelp and found these amazing reviews and called Todd's. Chris called us back within a couple of hours and agreed to send someone over to at least see if we could use our backup water heater until a replacement could be installed. TINO came and did just that, so at least we had (cold) water Sat night.
Then, on EASTER SUNDAY, TINO came again with a second man, to replace both our (very old) water heaters. Their pricing was better than ANY body else and their service and responsiveness were AWESOME.
When we discovered that (only) one sink inside the house was no longer working after the water heaters were replaced, TINO again came by the house the next week to check on it, discovered that the washer on the water spout was clogged, cleared it and was on his way, at NO ADD'L CHARGE!
If I could give these guys more stars I would. FABULOUS EXPERIENCE!

Have been shopping around for a plumber to replace my 18 yr old Water Heater. I received marginal responses all due to Covid, I assume. But received a prompt reply and call from Todd's. They asked for a description of the job w pictures. I had a competitive estimate in hand the next day. Scheduled for two days later. They texted 20 mins before the start of the promised 2 hour window and mentioned they were on the way. Arrived on time. Two guys did the work. Mike came by and helped troubleshoot our issues with the garbage disposal and was great. He explained what issues were having and why the disposal was not working properly. He was responsive, attentive, and knowledgeable. All of the characteristics of someone you entrust to work on your home. Would I recommend Todd's? Hell yeah!

The worst feeling is when you are looking forward to a hot shower and you turn on the faucet and ice cold water comes out. This happened to me a few weeks ago. I immediately panicked and turned to google. Unfortunately it was not just the pilot light. I went to Yelp and found Todd's. I called and they were able to come out and look at my water heater that day. Come to find out we had a cracked tank which resulted in having to get the water heater replaced. Todd's prices were fair and reasonable.

These guys are great! After reading all of the awesome reviews on their page, it was kind of a no brainer to go with them when I needed my hot water heater replaced. I called in and spoke with Jason, he had me send some photos in so that he could give me an accurate quote for the new water heater.

After I sent in the photos, he called me right back and gave me a price and let me know his schedule for the week. He had a few openings the next day, so we got me scheduled quickly. He arrived right on time at 9 am, everything was all said and done by 11am. He was super efficient and left everything as clean as it was when he arrived.

These guys were fantastic - had a really tight area to get a 20 year old gas water heater out and replace it with a top of the line water heater that if cared for will last a lifetime.... They cleaned up after themselves and did a great job! I highly recommend them - I had called around and checked out the the Home Depot thing too - everyone was in a couple hundred dollars of each other - But Todd's was the only one with so many 5 star reviews.

The service they provided here is insanely awesome and fast!! I needed a plumber stat since I ran out of hot water. My hot water heater was pretty new so it was random and unexpected! It was honestly kind of a stressful situation but the staff made me feel better and promised to help me ASAP! They got a plumber over right away to do the repair. Their plumber (sorry I cannot remember the name for the life of me) was really sweet. He filled me in on a bunch of stuff I wasn't sure on and didn't make me feel bad for not knowing a lot about water heaters in the first place. I will never call another place ever again for water heater trouble. They are so nice to work with and get your hot water turned back on so fast! Best company in Denver hands down!

After requesting about 5 quotes through Yelp, I decided to move forward with Todd's water heater. I appreciated how a technician didn't need to come to my house to assess the situation, but rather I was able to send in pics via email for replacing my hot water heater. After sending in pics, I was texted and called by Chris two days later. Having the ability to text completely eliminated phone tag, and was more convenient for my style. I appreciated the explanation on price, and education regarding permits and general maintenance tips. While price is absolutely a consideration in any home maintenance project, hot water was something I did want to compromise quality on. I like the Bradford reputation, and have been pleased with this so far. Installation was on time, approx 3 hours, and the tech Emilio was friendly, courteous and efficient. People often say they want to support local, and working with this company is a nice way to do that! I will definitely refer people here in the future :-)

My freezing experience wasn't caught on video however, as my ice bucket challenge came from my own damn shower head. Since the amazing footage will never be seen, here's how it played out...

Shrieking and shivering, I leapt from the shower and ran to Yelp; all the way shouting expletives directed at Elsa and the icy curse she clearly put on me. (Wow, I'm spending too much time with my nieces!!) but I digress... I prayed to the power of Yelp, which is where Todd and his God's came to my rescue.

As you can imagine, I was not in the best mood. My nipples could cut glass for God's sake!! I needed help, and thankfully Todd and team were super helpful and accommodating.

Before long I was back to splashing around in a hot bath, enjoying a glass of wine... and chilling the bottle in my own version of an ice bucket challenge. In the unfortunate event you are reading this, heed my advice and call Todd's. Let them work their hot magic, and you'll be singing their praises for many showers to come.

Such friendly service! When my showers were freezing cold (just as winter was starting up!) I was miserable and started trying to find someone to help me fix it. So glad I found Todd's Water Heater Repair! They were flexible with my schedule, didn't have a ridiculous waiting period for appointments, and got the job done fast. It was a breeze working with them and the work is quality.

Master Plumber Mike at Todd's Water Heater Repair took care of us. We had a 50 gal. Power Vent Rheem water heater that had not failed but the Power Vent fan ran constantly. We talked to Mike who explained that the problem is due to built up sediment that cools faster than water and so the water heater is constantly turning on to heat the sediment in the tank. He talked through the options and we choose to replace the water heater with the brand he recommended which is a Bradford White (commercial grade) water heater. He said call around before deciding to go with his quote. We did and determined that he seemed to have the most expertise and was friendly and accommodating to our needs. Today he came in with a mask and was quick and efficient. He checked on some other plumbing issues that we had in our house per our request. We will definitely use Todd's plumbers for our plumbing problems in the future!

Walked in to my utility room to find water all over the floor - not good! Found Todd's on Yelp (thanks, Yelp!) and due to the good reviews, gave them a call. I also called a few other places but these folks were able to get to me the quickest for a fair price. Todd referred me to Jason (I believe his LLC is Bulldog Plumbing) who was great to communicate with and, while booked the following day, was able to get out here the day after and replace our water heater. We now have a brand new heater for a fair price, no hassle. Thanks, team! Would definitely use them again.

Our old water heater started spraying water all over our garage. After looking up Todd's Plumbing and seeing and seeing the great reviews I called them and a plumber was at my house within two hours. As suspected the tank was blown and it was time to replace our 10+ year old water heater. By dinner time he had the new water heater installed.  We choose a Rheem high efficiency, 50 gallon gas water heater. Now we have plenty of hot water for a family of 6 and looking forward to many years of hot water and hopefully a little bit smaller gas bills.

The experience was very good, or at least as good as an emergency plumbing expense of this scale can go. I did some quick online shopping before and after talked to a friend who had to do the same thing and I am confident we got a very good price as well as great service.

Noticed water all over my basement floor.  Yup, was the water heater.  I turned off the main water coming into the house and began my search for a plumber that worked weekends.

First plumbing company I called wouldn't even give me a price over the phone. Second company gave me a good price, but told me they couldn't get a plumber to my house until Monday.  Plumbing service #3 quoted nearly double the price as plumbing service #2.  Next I called and spoke to Todd. He quoted me $50 more then plumbing service #2 but offered better water heater and could have a plumber at my house that day.  I was sold.    

New water heater has worked like a charm from the get-go. Every aspect of the installation was explained. The price included a new pan, new flex lines, valve and an alarm in case of a water leak. No nickel and dime extras, how about that?

I came home one afternoon to a strange noise in the utility closet and found it very very wet.  I shut off the water to the water heater and the gas. I called four different emergency plumbing services to get estimates of cost and schedule time.

Todd's gave me the best approximate. estimate and could be there the next morning.  When Sam arrived the next day the concrete floor of the closet was mostly dry and the water heater had pretty well drained. His truck was stocked with 2 sizes of water heaters and everything he would need. He looked the situation over, carefully and patiently explained what repairs needed to be done to bring my old hot water heater up to current code.  And he even said for my size home and just 1 person living there, that I would be happy with a 30 gallon hot water heater instead of a 40 gal that had been there.  That made me and my credit card a little happier.

He had a great bag of plumbing tools and systemically worked to remove old water heater and fittings.  Then came the new hot water heater and all the new fittings.  He cleaned and sweep up old wet junk in the corner and under the water heater's wood stand.  

Now, I have hot water again and a utility closet that is cleaner than it was to begin with

This is easily 5 stars because of the service, integrity and professionalism! My entire experience was positive - from my first contact with them through completion of the job. When I first called, the receptionist answered and was very polite and friendly. That's refreshing on its own! She got down all of my information and answered as many questions as she could regarding my hot water heater.

When the technician Chris called me back he told me that the water heater needed to be replaced. Given some experiences I've had with other repair companies for different jobs around the house, I always do some research online to make sure I'm getting the straight story. After researching online and since the water heater was leaking, I knew he was being genuine. He also wasn't pushy and totally understood when I said I wanted to do some research first.  

Chris showed up on time (wow!) and had everything ready to go. He had already bought the new water heater, brought all of these parts and even took the old water heater out for me. He was so professional and was so easy to work with.

My water heater broke in the middle of the night and the owner, Todd, returned my call right when he got into work at 7 am. I felt pretty desperate because I needed hot water and really wanted my  heater replaced ASAP.

He scheduled me for that afternoon and sent Sam and a co-worker out, who were so nice and professional. When they were finished, Sam showed me the work that was done and explained everything to me. It is so amazing these days to get good service and quality product. I have a 6 year warranty on the water heater and 1 year labor. Don't hesitate to call on them.

2 days after I moved into my new home, and on a Sunday night, the water heater started leaking from the relief valve.  I  called around to a few different water heater repair services but Todd was the only one that called me back right away.

After asking a few questions about my water heater he headed my way.  It ended up being a pretty quick fix. Since he has a minimum service charge of an hour so I had look over a few future plumbing projects.  Pretty cool guy.

When Todd inpsected my hot water heater, we discussed the fact that it had plastic valves and fittings that would prevent a full flush of all particles because the larger ones would not fit through the small diameter plastic drain valve.  He also warned me that, because of the age of the unit and the very nature of the plastic material and exposure to heat, the plastic valve could fail during the removal phase and cause other problems.  I approved his suggestion to replace the existing plastic fittings with brass ones--and trusted that he could handle any resulting issues.  (It is essential to me that a contractor has the skill and knowlege to complete a job--and the professionalism to make it right for the customer.)

Todd, who is the owner/operator of the water heater repair company knows what he's doing.  He successfully replaced the valve, flushed the system, showed me the particles that had been accumulating in my hot water heater for years--and charged me a fair and reasonable price for the job.  The hot water heater no longer makes the rumbling noise for which I sought his services--and I have his contact information; I will contact him for future plumbing needs.  

-Just some added info, I had first contacted a plumber who had worked on a friend's plumbing.  He told me that because my water heater is located in the attic, that he would not do the job at all unless I wanted the water heater replaced--and relocated to the garage.  I was glad I went with Todd instead.

Let me start this review by saying that I CANNOT believe that these guys are 5* rated on Yelp and are the #1 rated water heater repair company in Denver. My experience, outlined below, was absolutely terrible.

I called Todd's Water Heater Repair two days ago after seeing their other (mostly great) reviews on Yelp. They talked to me for about 10 minutes and told me that they were so busy that they wouldn't be able to even look at the problem until the next day. So late yesterday afternoon, the plumber from Todd's, Bill, came out to our house and spent less than 10 minutes with my wife. I was out of town on business at the time and couldn't meet while he was there, but since we are currently without hot water, the sooner the better. While Bill was there, he determined that our water heater needed to be replaced. He decided, for whatever reason, that he needed to put in a power vented system, and quoted us a price of $2500 to replace our existing water heater (which was not power vented), and do some duct work. After I got home, I talked to Bill and he told me that several things in my house weren't up to code (not true), that my house inspector should have noticed the things that weren't in code (no way).

After my interaction with Bill, I decided to shop around for other water heaters. Within a couple of calls, we received two quotes at less than half the price that Bill wanted to charge us, including the duct work, but just using a standard water heater rather than a power vented one.

Once I received the other quotes, I called back into Todd's Water Heater Repair and explained to them that I wanted to cancel Bill's install. I told them that we were dissatisfied with the price  they had quoted us and that we wanted to cancel. The person who answered the phone was extremely rude to me, to the point that I had to hang up the phone. Then 10 minutes later, Bill called me directly and wanted to charge us $125 for coming out the day before to look at the existing system because I needed to respect his time. I told him that this seemed crazy considering he was only at our house for 10 minutes, but that I understood that everyone's time is important. I explained to him that I was extremely upset that he tried to upsell us on a power vented water heater when it was completely unnecessary. He eventually lowered the fee to $75, but still expects us to pay it.

Bottom line: Do NOT use Todd's Water Heater Repair - you could get ripped off like I almost did.

We are so thankful for this company! Everyone we talked with and worked with were amazing! We were in a bind when our hot water heater went out at night and they had fixed the next day for a fair price. Very responsive and so helpful! All around just great experience with this company!

We had no hot water.  After we had unplugged the water heater a couple of times, a flashing light reappeared.  It looked as though it was flashing to show something was wrong with the gas valve.  However, after awhile the heater came on.  This was not normal activity for a water heater. It's frustrating not knowing what to do.

The gentleman that answered the phone was polite and accommodating as he tried to work with our schedule to get a plumber to our home.  He was also reassuring when he said the water heater was not dangerous.

A plumber came out the next morning.  By this time, the water heater was acting normal again.  It was as if it had fixed itself.   We didn't know whether to cancel or have them check it out so it wouldn't happen again.  The serviceman was very nice.  He checked everything he could on the heater that seemed to be working just fine.  He assured us it was working the way it should and to give them a call if anything happens again.  He needed to see it when something was wrong.

Unfortunately my hot water heater went out late Saturday.  I called a few other plumbing companies, but none were able to locate the part I needed and told me I would have to wait until after the holiday weekend (in other words not before Tuesday).  Todd's had the part on their truck and was able to have a plumber out the next morning to fix it.  Chris, the plumber who made the repair was a very cool and down to earth guy.  These guys really saved me from three days without hot water (if not longer).  Highly recommended.

Todd's Water Heater was great! (I worked with Chris and Alan). From the very first time I contacted them, they were super responsive and helpful. I contacted them several weeks ago, unsure I needed a replacement or not. They suggested I try a repair first and since I am in Longmont, they normally don't do those here and suggested I call someone local when instead they could have pushed for the install which they do up this way. So, I called a local person who came out and did what they thought might be good enough. Unfortunately, the water heater continued to leak. They had provided me a quote which was significantly higher than the one Todd's gave me. So, I called Chris back - he had all my original info and quote and we got the install setup. Alan came out and did the install - he was very professional, friendly, efficient and was in and out very quickly. He explained everything to me and both he and Chris communicated with me on arrival time through text several times that day. They were awesome and I would highly recommend Todd's for a water heater replacement. I doubt they could be beat! Thank you, Chris and Alan!

One of our tenants called us at about 5:00 in the afternoon and said there was water in her basement bedroom and that she thought it might be the hot water heater. She was right, but it was 5:00 p.m.. A plumber friend who was nearby took a look at it and said he couldn't get to it that night but that it looked like it was getting ready to blow. This heater was in the duplex before we bought it and when it was installed no one put in a cut-off valve to the water line so we had to turn the water off the water main which affected all four units in order to have the hot water heater replaced.
We stumbled onto Todd's business online and called, almost certain that no one would even pick up the phone, let alone be willing to come fix it. But they were able to have one of their excellent servicemen, Alan, come over after 7:00 p.m. and he stayed till the job was done. He had to go to 3 different Home Depot's looking for some parts in order to hook our new heater up since there were some peculiarities with the old house.

Alan's work ethic, communication, competence and tenacity made me think I was living in small town Mayberry where everybody knows everybody and you can't stay in business if you don't treat people right.
This is never a given living in a larger city.

And to top it off, we were charged the same competitive price that it would have cost for him to do it on a normal day.

It is a Sunday morning and I have a cold shower. With my luck, my water heater stopped working while my husband was out of town. Since he normally handles these things I called him right away. He told me that someone from Todd's was going to give me a call back and schedule the appointment. Once they called I explained my situation. I wasn't even expecting a company to be open on a Sunday let alone come do plumbing work the same day. Chris came over and looked at my water heater. He was very kind and even had a good sense of humor. He turned back on my pilot light and was out of the house with 20 minutes. The company was even gracious to take my husband's credit card info over the phone since I didn't have any cash or checks at the time. Extremely impressed!

Called when I discovered the water heater was leaking. A plumber was out within an hour, and within 2 hours a new water heater was being installed. Everyone was punctual and professional. It turned out the existing water heater was under warranty. Given that, however, we still had to pay the cost of labor to get the new water heater installed.

Our water heater decided to leak on Tuesday night, the week before Christmas, I called Todd's water heater repairs. Chris had me text him a couple of pictures of my existing water heater, he had a quote for me that night, and a new water heater installed by noon the very next day. Excellent service, very friendly. I was clueless when it came to my water heater acting up and I decided to call Todd's Water Heater Repair! I was fortunate enough to be seen right away which I know doesn't always happen. He was able to find and fix the problem, gave me helpful advice, was kind & professional! Would definitely recommend and use for the future.

They were wonderful.  He fixed my existing water heater by calling the manufacturer to find out a flaw in that particular model.  By doing that, it fixed the problem, and they sent the part he needed for him to install in my water heater. It was exceptional service.  He is my hero!

These guys did a great job. Jason was the guy sent to my house. I have a really difficult setup because the water heater is in a very small space and my pipes are very brittle old plastic. The pipes were also in front of the heater making it very hard to get the old one out. Jason found a smaller style of water heater because a modern standard one would not fit. My old water heater was so clogged with sediment that they had to let it drain overnight. They returned early in the morning got the new one out quick and got the new one installed. But of course there was a crack in a pipe under the house. After multiple trips into a very small and unpleasant crawl space full of more plumbing surprises they got the pipe fixed up. They also replaced the plastic pipes going into the heater with copper ones. I really appreciate their patience and for not gouging me on the price.

Spoke with Todd about what I wanted and he went over all details about my different options. He even encouraged me to get other quotes. In the end I went with Todd because of his ethical approach to sales and pricing was in line with two other plumbing companies. Todd could have totally sold me a more expensive water heater but thoroughly reviewed my options and left the decision up to me. No pressure sales.

Todd new his stuff. Installers arrived on time, were very knowledgable, clean and showed me how the new water heater worked. Very professional team of installers. I will use Todds for all my future plumbing needs. It's a good feeling to know there are still good, fair and honest people in the world. It also feels good to support a local company and now a big box chain.

I came home from work on a Friday and didn't have hot water at the kitchen faucet. I found a waterfall down the side of the water heater. I first called Applewood who wouldn't give me any estimate over the phone. On Saturday evening, Applewood left our house with a quote for about $3200 for a standard 50 gallon water heater install on Sunday. I then called Todd's Water Heater Repair and received an over the phone quote for less than half the cost for a Monday install. It was worth one more day without hot water to save that much cash. Jason was assigned the job. I sent him pictures of my current water heater. Jason and I discussed options and he ended up getting us a great deal on a higher BTU system. Now we still have hot water after filling our new, large master bath tub. The install job looks good, was handled professionally and fairly. I would call Todd's again and already recommended them to a friend.

I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because the price increased substantially ($400) when Jason discovered we didn't have an expansion tank to meet new code. That should have been a question they asked me at the beginning. I also wish they would have asked about installing a drain pan to direct water toward the floor drain. I'm sure a drain pan would have been an inexpensive add-on that could save basement water damage. I also don't like how much tension is on the gas line. Jason could have used a longer flexible gas line instead of flexing the gas pipe coming down from the ceiling. No major complaints. Just enough little things to make it 4 stars instead of 5 for me. I still recommend calling Todd's to replace your water heater.

Our 8-year-old Rheem hot water heater began to leak yesterday morning.  I contacted this company around 8:00 am and by 11:00 am our new water heater was installed and running as promised.  The gentleman who answered the phone was very cordial and helpful.  He gave us a time frame for when his service person would show up.  The water heater repair technician was on time, professional, friendly, and helpful.  He patiently answered all my questions.  I was very impressed with this company on every level and would recommend them without reservation. Nice to work with a plumbing service that has a good work ethic and excellent social skills!!

Found this company on Yelp after our water heater went out one morning. It had such great reviews it seemed like an obvious choice and I was not wrong! Called and on the same day Jason came out (after texting he was on his way - great communication on their part). Jason and his helper replaced the water heater, took the old one away and made sure the put down protection for our wood floors. Would definitely recommend Todd's Water Heater and Jason who is under Bulldog Plumbing.

When my 12 year old Rheem started dripping from the safety valve, I took a chance on Todd's and I was not disappointed. It was a Monday, and Todd scheduled me that same day.  Todd and Jason were both very knowledgable and professional, answering all my questions. They were tidy cleaned up everything quickly. and And they quoted a reasonable price.  The install was better than the original. I highly recommend them.

I had used Todd's Plumbing Service to install a tankless water heater last November, and it was a great experience.  Recently our garbage disposal stopped working, and I procrastinated for several weeks before calling Todd's. They were able to arrange a plumber to come at the time I was available.  When the plumber arrived, the garbage disposal was magically working.  The tech still checked out everything to make sure it was not a fluke and then did not charge us.  I will be a customer for life!

Super service!  Todds was able to fix my water heater after another plumbing service told me that it needed to be replaced.  They were clean and fast. The price was great.  I would definitely have them do more plumbing work.

Amazing customer service. Not only did Jason and Antonio squeeze me in to come out same day to install new shut off valve so I could have at least cold water to my house when my water heater broke, but also squeezed me in to replace my water heater less than 24 hours after my initia cal. They even showed up half an hour earlier than originally planned which is unheard of!! I will definitely be going with these guys for any future plumbing needs.

The other day i noticed that the water heater wasn't kicking back on. Todd came out and did an inspection resulting in 3 options: Clean/maintain current equipment, replace part, or replace full water heater (least expensive to most). Having just moved in 4 months ago, we hadn't factored in a full replacement and thought a clean/maintain would give us an indicator of how serious it was. Went through with it and haven't had a problem with the water heater since. Great job guys! Fast, clean, and efficient.

A leaky hot water tank is always unexpected.  I called Todd's and spoke to Justin, who empathized with my predicament and worked to get me scheduled for a replacement.  I can not express enough how pleasant of an experience this all turned out to be.  From Justin who scheduled the install, to Bobby who performed it.  Everyone I dealt with was so nice and helpful, and they worked to get my emergency taken care of quickly while still servicing their other customers and commitments.

I called Todd about a problem with our water heater on a Sunday morning.  He listened to the problem and then explained that it was common with our brand of water heater to simply clean out an intake screen and the issue would be solved.  He asked me to email a picture of the water heater to confirm his thinking.  I did.  He called me back and walked me through the process.  His professionalism and willingness to take the time to help was commendable.  I will definitely call him again the next time I need plumbing help.

After my first experience went so poorly, Justin reached out to me and apologized for what happened. On the second attempt at an estimate they called me to confirm, showed up on time, and gave me a fair estimate. They even called back after the estimate to offer me a discount because of my first poor experience. I haven't decided what I'll do, but I appreciate the effort to improve and make up for what was clearly a mistake.

Did a lot of price shopping for a water heater installation since mine was on the fritz.  Todd's was not available to come out and do the install but referred me to 'Just Plumbing, Inc.'  The owner arrived within an hour, quoted me the lowest price, didn't try to up-sell me with things I didn't need, and had the new water heater installed and working within two hours.  Thanks to Todd's for the referral.

A friend recommended Todd's to me when I was searching for a reliable company. I had been looking for someone to help do a small repair and an overall maintenance check on my water heater before moving. When I called I actually talked to Todd himself and he answered all of my questions and was able to give me a quote over the phone. He made sure that Jason would be at my house before 5pm that same day. Since I wasn't going to be there on time I was able to give them my garage code so that they could start the work. They offered to make a few upgrades and when I declined they were polite and not pushy. I appreciated the suggestions and advice from them though. Todd, Jason and their team know what they are doing and have a wide range of knowledge when it comes to the water heater industry. I called Todd on a Thursday or Friday to get pricing on a new water heater.  He called me back very quickly and gave me pricing and a lot of helpful advice. I got two other bids and his was comparable to the lower of the other two, and I decided to go with him because he had been so helpful on the phone.  We scheduled the work for the upcoming Monday.  Todd was very responsive to all of my phone calls and he showed up exactly on time (no 4 hour window or anything like that, just a time he would be there).  He removed the old water heater and installed the new one including expansion tank, safety drip pan, and emergency cut off.  A part as provided by the manufacturer was not working correctly so Todd substituted in a more expensive one that he had in his truck for no additional charge.  He also took care of a few small things around the house while he was here and gave me advice on another project.  He did a great job, was very punctual and responsive, very helpful, and overall was great to work with.  I would definitely use him again.

Todd was able to get someone out the same day we called. The water line to our water heaters had worked itself loose and caused both hot water heaters to short out. We were lucky the water kept running, as it was obvious it had cased an electrical fire. The fronts of both waters heaters were scorched. Not only did they replace both waters heaters the same day, Todd also encouraged us to call our insurance company and file a claim. We had no idea any of it would be covered. He was right! Not only did the insurance cover the water heaters, but it also covered Serve-Pro to come out and dry the areas, spray for bacteria, and place fans. They returned and removed all the sheet rock, insulation and wet cardboard that had been left on the floor of the crawl space by the previous owner. They will also replace all the insulation and drywall once the area is completely dry. All this extra work was covered by our house insurance and about 1/2 of the work Todd did for us. We would never had known we could claim this damaged until we were encouraged to look into it. Without Todd's encouragement these repairs would have cost us a TON of money. We can't thank him enough.

We had a new hot water heater installed. We had a complicated old system, with a holding tank and instant hot water lines. Over the years, we had other plumbing services look at the system, none of them appeared to truly understand what we had. Todd understood immediately.  We also found out Todd does more then just water heater repairs.  Our garbage disposal was old and needed to be replaced. Todd was able to swap it out at the same time he did the water heater install.  Great service!

Todd's set up an appointment right away. Anthony Lewis with N-E Pipe Plumbing came out and determined he could repair my water heater and I did not need a replacement. They weren't able to complete the work the same day as the initial assessment. However, they bent over backwards to meet my schedule the next day and did a fantastic job. Anthony Lewis was courteous, knowledgeable and did quality work.  I definitely will contact them for future work.

My water heater started leaking, and needed replacement. Called this company, and got a very professional response and advice from Justin within about an hour.

We had another company out twice to fix our tankless water heater that was delivering uneven water temperatures. It was never fixed. With a friends recommendation we called Todd. They sent out their tankless water heater specialist. In under an hour he diagnosed the unit, discovered error codes and fixed the problem. I will never call anyone but Todd's  when I need water heater or plumbing help. This company really knows what they're doing!
