Allen was really professional and got the 2 jobs done with in an hour. Explained everything and got our new garbage disposal and are now able to get our dish washer installed.
Alfredo Ramirez was professional and very efficient. Great service!!
Gabriel was great! Thorough, informative, punctual, polite and clean! He kept me up dated throughout the work and was able to clear out a clogged drain! My drains are working very well now. Good stuff!
Mario was great and very responsive. Fixed our problem and have me all of my options for a solution, very communicative, thank you!
Do not recommend . Poor workmanship. To expensive not reliable work done not finish . Had to call a real plumbing service. Wanted to take advantage of the situation
They responded quickly and had availability within a couple hours when most were not available. Nice people great quick service! Very fair and competitive
July 2022 we had a large plumbing issue in our home. There was a water leak and sewer leak. We hired Rooter-Hero to do the job. They said we needed to finance the job through their financing company Good Leap to wait for the insurance pay out. They said the job and would only take a couple weeks and everything would be done & Everything would be put back drywall painting all that stuff. RooterHero caused structural damage to our home that was built in 1969. They exposed, asbestos without testing any materials before performing work, expose us physically to asbestos as we were still living in the home during the first week of the project. Once it had been discovered that they had exposed everything to asbestos insurance company, put us in a hotel, and eventually into a temporary apartment, which we are still currently living in we had to hire Servpro to come in and evaluate as well as a remediation company for abatement. I had to go and have x-rays of my lungs and do a pulmonary function test to establish a baseline in case I ever develop mesothelioma. While we were living in the hotel our English bulldog developed severe lung issues and fluid build up and had to be euthanized. The negligence of this contractor has caused us so much unnecessary stress and anxiety and the fact that we have are STILL displaced from our home and the damage being so bad that our insurance company has stated that rooter-Hero did so much damage that it was a complete interior renovation.
Alfredo Ramirez is very professional, explained the situation and got to work. Not only did he come by at 7pm after a full day, but he also fixed the issue. We had a flood due to a blockage just shy of the main sewer line. We found the clean out and he ran the snake. He cleaned up the area and made additional recommendations. Great service and competitive pricing. We highly recommend this company.
Alfredo Ramirez fixed the sink flow back-up and disposal quickly and professionally. Highly recommended.
Mario had a job tasked to him that was plagued with challenges. The job took some extra time but he continually showed up and pressed through for a 100% job completion. Thank you Mario.
Great communication, prompt response and service. Tyler was a pleasure, as was his apprentice, sorry can't remember his name, would definitely use this company again!
49 trip charge just for an estimate for a simple copper pipe leak. I provided pictures and it's an exterior pipe that should be an easy fix. Laughable.
One of my furbabies was missing for over 24 hours when I decided it was time to get some help from a pipe camera. My technician arrived within 30 minutes of my call and was set up within 5 minutes to run the pipe camera into his den. After not locating him in the rabbit den, Rick moved the camera to the turtle's den and there he was. Stuck, injured, but alive! I would have had to tear both dens apart to accomplish what Rooter Hero did in 5 minutes. I am eternally grateful and they've earned my business for life. Thank you!
Alfredo Ramirez was amazing. so nice and polite and very professional, definitely using him again for my rental properties.
Alfredo Ramirez responded to my emergency need of replacing a leaking water heater. He was very friendly, informative, and went above and beyond to get the job finished the same day, on a Saturday!
Great service! Alfredo had great communication, was on time and very detailed in his work to replace a broken toilet with a new one. I would highly recommended Rooter Hero and Alfredo for your plumbing needs.
Alfredo Ramirez is the best, he went above and beyond! He helped get our water back on so quick and was so nice and helpful. Best customer service ever! Will definitely be a return customer!
Place charges $49 just for an estimate- Every other place in the valley will come check it out for free. This place is a rip off.
Call them up and the Jung person that shows up didn't even open the water to see how slow the drain was he just try to convince me to flush the lines for $ 2300.00 dollars
Also they charge me $59.00 just to tell me that.
I had the same job done for 600.00 from a very reputable company.
Stay away
My parents water heater pilot light would not come on. I received a quick response to have JR come out to the house. Excellent communication, timely, very informative, and was able to get the light going again and they have hot water! Thank you JR, we appreciate your help.
My neighbor's bathtub was leaking into my unit, and I am so glad I called Rooter Hero to diagnose the issue. Alfredo Ramirez showed up quickly and was able to get to the source of the issue with minimal drywall cutting and displayed the utmost care for my property. They referred me to a water restoration company who was on my property assessing damage within an hour.
Alfredo has also been incredibly responsive with any questions I had after the diagnosis and rapidly provided a repair estimate to the property owner and handled all contact with them. If I ever have another issue with leaking water, or need any plumbing work done on my unit, I'm calling Rooter Hero and specifically requesting Alfredo as the technician.
Had my main water line valve fail on me early on in the day Monday morning and Alfredo Ramirez came out that night and had it fixed first thing the next day. He was so knowledgeable and willing to answer all my questions! If you are looking for a guy who knows his stuff, look no further! Thank you Alfredo!
Alfredo was as good as it gets, hard worker and got the job done even though it was later in the day. I'll be a new customer because of him. Great job
Alfredo Ramirez did a great job thank you for the good work and keep it up the good work
I am sure they are great for emergency dispatch. But if not, they charge $49 to come out and provide a quote. I had specific needs due to a remodel and had pictures. I am not going to potential waste $49 just to find out what they are going to charge to do the remodel work.
Jared and Israel took care of all my problems and they were able to get my plumbing working. I had leaks and clogs and a busted pipe. Rooter hero is probably the brother of Hercules because they saved the day and didn't allow my pipes to go to hellheim.
BEWARE ABSOLUTE SCAM!!
I scheduled an appointment with Rooter Hero Plumbing due to a clog in my hall bathroom tub. The technician arrived at 9:30am and began his work. He continued to work for a couple of hours before I entered my master bathroom and observed dark murky water filling my shower floor. By 6:00pm, I was left with neither shower in my home in working order. The technician stated he and his boss will be at my home the next morning at 10:00am. Upon arrival (BTW he was 20 minutes late), the manager entered my home never introducing himself and had already begun belittling his technician. He did not look my direction while speaking; therefore I assumed he was not speaking to me. He then proceeded to say, well, are you coming? Aren't you the homeowner? After a brief peek of his head into each of the bathrooms, he explicitly let me know I had big problems and we need to sit at the table and discuss what needs to be done. Once at the table, he told me that we can get my homeowners insurance company to pay for the new plumbing, but we need to create a water leak that will result in water damage. I stated to him that I do not have a leak. The manager then looked at his technician and stated that's what we got this little guy for. He stated he works with my insurance company all of the time and already has 4 claims processing and that they know him by name. At this point I knew exactly what he was doing; therefore I asked him to leave my home. He immediately got up from his seat and swiftly walked out the door as if I were wasting his time.
Had a kitchen sink backup that needed attention. Rooter Hero is exactly that!
Gerry was out in one hour. Most other plumbers that I called were booking out 24-48 hours . Gerry was not only extremely knowledgeable but he took pride in doing the job right! The cost was very reasonable and considering the quality of the work it was an amazing value. Save yourself some time and call Rooter Hero first.
very bad experience.. we called to schedule an appointment and told us someone is going to come the next day.. we were waiting the whole day and me and my husband took a day off at work for this but no one came, we called and they said nobody can come since they only have one guy working that day and did not let us know until the end of the day.. so they said we are going to be a priority the next day and someone is going to come since there's more people working as well. My husband waited again and when no one came for the scheduled time he called to follow up and they said that no one can come because the guy who detects leak only work on weekdays. Very unprofessional, wasted our time. We could have start calling other companies earlier. Don't ever contact them.
Criminals! I called rooter hero after a guest at one of our vacation rentals was having difficulty using the garbage disposal. Rooter hero sent someone out that day to take a look. The guests were not there, so I let them in the house remotely. The technician called me and told me I had to contact his supervisor. I called the supervisor Joseph and he informed me that the garbage disposal was broken and to replace it there were three options. Good better best All ranging between $550 to $1,000 installed. He said that they charged by the book, so even though the job may only take 20 or 30 minutes they can charge upwards of $500 plus per hour for the install.
I told Joseph I don't like the way they charge nor what I agree to pay that price. After many calls I found a different plumber that quoted me over the phone. The new plumber would use a heavy duty model for $175 and charge $125 for the install. Once the new plumber came over and took a look, as it turns out the garbage disposal is not broken at all! Some sort of Allen wrench somehow got down the drain and was obstructing the garbage disposal from turning freely. Now that is an honest plumber.
Either rooter hero is completely incompetent, or they are greedy criminals creating a racket. I tend to think the latter. Of course everyone needs to make a living, I just prefer to pay people that earn it. I don't need to be swindled into parting with my money Just because I don't have to be at the property. I do not trust these people nor should you!
The person that came out with the camera did not find the clean out.
He advised me more than likely be out side the window of the room he had his camera head. So I dug out this 6x4 4 feet hole. Did not locate it. I called another plumbing company the located it with in 15 minutes. It seems your camera guy passed right by them by about 8 feet and not in the location he disclosed.
It was actually on the side of the house that went into the room where his camera was.
First called you I had to fix a leak in the kitchen it was never tested after it was supposedly unclogged we had to call you back the gentleman came out the second time at night and unclogged it. Your cameraman came out the first time and said he didn't have the small camera to fit down the side openings do you have to reschedule. Another month goes by he comes out and then he completely did not see the clean outs with his camera. Then I had to call another company that actually did locate the drain clean outs.
Very disappointed in your service and You're scheduling. Always late or rescheduled
As a previous tradesmen I hope that this message translates into better training for all of those that were involved.
Here is a pic of the trench I dug to find the main drain line.
Do not recommend. I called because we had some bad smells coming up a few drains. I was given a high pressure sales pitch that I needed a Hydro flush that would cost thousands of dollars. I'm assuming the tech thought I was unintelligent or an easy target. If my husband would have been home I believe the tactic would have been very different. What makes this even more frustrating is that he didn't even look into the drains or pipes before saying this should be our solution. Based on other reviews, it seems that this company has a history of trying to scam people with major solutions that they likely do not need. He called his manager and said that I wasn't happy with this news...
But actually I wasn't happy that he didn't even try anything before offering a solution that was thousands of dollars. We just had some bad smells, not any major back ups. Then he tried to charge me for a trip charge. Obviously, the manager said to waive it. If I was to guess, the technicians are working off a commission for these types of repairs. Our neighbor came over later and helped us flush the drains and it was fixed. Turns out we didn't need the $3,000 repair after all.
Trust issue with this company. They verbally said $185 for a snake out, or $400 if they had to remove the toliet. They only had to use the snake and thought we would be charged $185 RIGHT? No, our credit card charge was $275 because we signed the receipt for work being done and trusted that the charge would be what they said.
Don't trust anything they SAY. Next time (see below) I will ask for a written quote and THAT quote will be signed before they ever do the work.
However they responded quickly and got the problem taken care of in the first visit, so they did earn 3 stars for that.
I want to give a better rating because our service guy was nice when speaking to us, but the performance of the service and customer service following is AWFUL. My mom had a guy over that I didn't catch the name of that was installing a toilet in one bathroom and fixing the piping to another in a separate bathroom. They needed to access the gas line for something, which is fine. We have an above ground gas line access point in our backyard where we just installed fresh grass in November. I'm not exactly sure WHY they needed to dig out a foot size hole inches away from the ABOVE GROUND access point, but they did. They completely destroyed this section of grass below, pulling out even the sod??? So there's no way any grass is growing back in that spot. I tried to put it back after they left and watered it down but it's not happening. One of our bathtubs is chipped now, and they left all of their tools here? I would assume the guys who were here (initial service guy who then called his supervisor to come out for help) were scam artists if they weren't driving a company van.
I'm very angry. The grass was expensive and the was not one reason to tear that much, if any, out. My mom has called them TWICE since it happened and each time it's I can take a message and never hearing from them again. What a trash experience, and customer service. I would recommend anyone else over them. Plus our pipes were never fixed so I'm not sure what they really came out here to do.
They also slung rocks all over the grass area where I run my daycare and have my kids that are all under the age of 2 and eat rocks. That was nice of them
We called out Rooter Hero when we noticed the bottom of our toilet leaking. We thought, might as well get this checked out and anticipated it was a small blockage. They sent out a plumber promptly (within an hour) to scope the sewer lines. He then showed us that our entire sewer line was collapsed or collapsing, cracked, overall in terrible shape. We were at immediate risk of a catastrophic backup - definitely not how we expected our calm Friday at home to go. We live in a 1954 house with original cast iron pipes, so we can't act completely shocked. Rooter Hero immediately went to work getting us a quote, getting a team put together (two project managers, plumber, apprentice) and said they would get started the next day.
The job was 2 weeks long and was MAJOR. Our backyard, laundry, and both bathrooms had to be excavated and these guys were at the house every single day right on time and were there when I got home to give me the low down on what happened throughout the day and what would happen the next day. I never had to ask for an update - these guys were timely and extremely informative. One day we forgot to turn the AC off and dust was ALL over our house. They promptly rented a fan and collected all the dust before I got home - no cost to me. The level of service we received during this job was incredible and the best I have received from a contractor.
Post-job, these guys went to battle alongside me with our insurance company. Our insurance company clearly did not want to pay a fair amount for the access/egress of the job that our policy allowed us. Mike and Adam over at Rooter Hero dealt with my insurance claims adjuster for almost 2 months after our job ended - sending updated invoices, breakdowns, arguing about why I was entitled to more, etc. These guys easily could have left me to deal with this myself, as most contractors do, but they didn't. Because of these guys I was able to get a fair payout from insurance.
Overall, fantastic experience from start to finish.
Run the other way. Did not fix my problem. Tried to sell me me three plus thousands of services I did not need. Got another plumber who fixed the clog they could not find in less than 15 minutes.
Rooter Hero Plumbing and Air
We had a loss of cool air and neded repair on evap. cooler. Tech showed up within 2 hours of my call on a hot summer day, but after 5 minutes he had to leave because of feeling ill.
When I called back to see if we could have another tech come to work on our unit, they tell me they have only the one tech who works on air conditioner or evap coolers!
I also asked about an estimate of charges for replacing a water pump in the cooler and was told they need to look at it first and would not provide any kind of estimate! Every company we have ever dealt with always have had set charges for things like replacing evap cooler water pump so that their techs know what to charge the customer when they are on the job. Saying they need to look first before providing any estimate seems very dodgy to me...
Called them to clear a restaurant floor drain a simple job they had done a few times for me in the past for around 150.00. Today they sent a tech who quoted me 475.00 for the same job... got someone else. Too bad they used to be a decent operation.
These guys are great! Fast, friendly and very skilled. Highly recommended.
We had major plumbing issues due to old galvanized steel pipes.
The workers had a lot to do with digging out our septic lines and old pipes going to the septic tank.
We had a verbal contract and were told that the quote included any unforeseen problems. During the work my husband was told they would have to charge more. We had to put a stop to the project until we contacted the boss who finally agreed to stick with original quote.
During the work we had a hole put in our year old tub. This was fix with a patch. Than I found out that my tub well not hold water.
Still waiting on someone from the company to come out and fix this.
We have called the company and told that someone was going to come out the next day and no one showed or called. We called the company again and was told someone would come out Friday or Saturday but no one has come.
I feel this company is very unreliable. We have a 3/4 finished project that we cannot get completed.
To update on June 17 Rooter Hero company is finally reaching out to us to solve our issues.
Nightmare situation. All elderly in today's world are from the old school whereby if you have a project needed done you call an established company (for an estimate) and you know his/her word is good. In today's world you'd better be prepared to get 3-4 other quotes and STILL do the research yourself. Better yet read U-Tube, get the tools you need and dig in. I am still dishearted about the entire sequence of events which led to me being out more than $2,100 for 'work' that I would never have bought into had I known from the get-go it would end up being a huge hassle. The kicker was being offered a 'dyed in the wool' loan offer that the salesman knew didn't have a degree of validity. The list goes on but is too stressful to dwell on. I just say this as you heard in Shawshank when the warden was ripping off the county there are more ways to skim off the top. Beware!. The only good thing I can say is that the technicians were professional in their demeanor yet I still question why when he replaced the one and only leaking valve that a 2nd one started leaking which in turn made him say he'd send the supervisor (salesman) out.
WTH! The only positive comment I can give is that the technicians themselves (as well as the manager although we went round and round) conducted themselves in a professional manner.
Our plumber, Chris, was incredibly quick, courteous and kind. He accurately assessed everything wrong with our toilet and fixed all of the leaks! Their pricing was fair and the work good! Rooter Hero Plumbing, give Chris a raise!!!
The technicians were nice, but it started wrong from the beginning. First, all I wanted were my pipes scoped on house I have an offer on. They refused to give me a quote over the phone and said they needed to see it first. When they got there, they said it would cost more because they had to go in through the roof, then pressured me into signing up for their subscription service model (which I did and now regret).
One technician showed up and clean the lines, but said his manager would come and do the video. We waited about an hour and he never showed. We ended up having to reschedule. He came later and took videos and said they all needed to be replaced, but the videos they took didn't show anything because of the glare of the sun. He had recorded the videos with his iPhone so I couldn't actually see any of the issues.
End of the day, couldn't get a quote over the phone, showed up late, quoted me for an estimated $15 - 20 K job, but couldn't show me the proof because I couldn't see the videos and I had to ask multiple times just to get the useless videos.
I called another company and they quoted me over the phone and also said they didn't charge extra to go on the roof. I would definitely recommenced calling around before going with Rooter Hero.
About 11 months ago, we spent a great deal of money to have our drain line jetted to clear an obstruction. At that time, we were advised that within a year, the company would return and camera inspect the line at no charge to make sure all was still OK.
We scheduled a visit for 02.16.2021 between 2pm & 4Pm. At 3:55pm, we received a call stating that they were short handed and would not be coming. After complaining that they had just wasted 2 hours of our time, they agreed as a courtesy to send someone the next day (02.17.2021) between 2pm & 4pm.
At 4:00pm (again after waiting 2 additional hours), the technicians stated they did not have the camera equipment and could only clear a clogged line. They left after about 3 minutes. I explained we did not currently have a clog, but were advised they would camera the line to insure all was OK. After speaking to customer service, I was told I did not tell them what equipment they needed to bring! I do not recommend this company to anyone expecting decent customer service.
Bad service. Work by Danny resulted in flooding of my home and follow up by his supervisor Louis resulted in yet another leak from the valve that was installed due to poor workmanship. Finally had someone named Cody show up at my home without anyone advising that they were coming and demanded that I come home to let them in. Worst service I have ever received from anyone in the service industry and resulted in thousands of dollars of damage to my home. Please do NOT do work with these people.
Originally scheduled for Tuesday. They called and rescheduled for 10-12 on Friday. Received a call at 2 on Friday saying they needed to reschedule for the following week. In the meantime, I called Flush King. In 1 hour from the time of my call, Flush King had completed removal and replacement of the Pressure Regulating Valve. Don't waste your time with Rooter Heroes. Call Flush King instead.
They did ok on the drains but were messy. We had to scrub the tub and do other clean up after them. Not too happy about that.
We called on a Saturday at 2pm and they were able to give us same-day service. Isaac showed up on time with a great attitude. He immediately went to work and fixed both sinks and cleaned up after himself when he was done. Fast, professional and friendly service. Price was right too. 5-Star service!
Very unorganized. They sent a service tech to my house for a estimate . First and last time working with these guys.
I see reviews made by unhappy customer because they either do not want to know the price or they have a handy
Man give them a cheaper price. I appreciate Rooter Hero. I appreciate what they stand for and the integrity they bring. If you do not want to know the truth about your plumbing call some one else. This company will tell you everything you need to know and give you options.
Great work on this company I love the fact that they contacted me the son, on everything before they started their work, I really appreciate the fact that they weren't trying to take advantage of my elderly mother Mildred, Joel And Alex did amazing work with our water heater I really do recommend them
Super fast, super honest. Will definitely call these guys for any plumbing needs we may every have in the future! Came out the same day we called for a problem with our toilet and tub. Fixed the issue and didn't even charge us because it was such a simple repair. He cleaned everything up and was very nice to work with. Highly recommend!
Finally found a plumber that can get my drained fixed. He knew exactly what the problem was and fixed it. He was a Quick and Efficient Plumber.
So far so good!
My rental property in Phoenix had a slab leak and water flooded up into the bathroom and the adjoining room. These guys came out immediately as my tenants were freaking out. It was a big Job and took 2 days but they fixed the issue and and it didn't cost me an arm and a leg. Just an arm lol. Great job guys.
I had a great experience with Rocky who came out and did a camera snake on my property. He offered an affordable fix to a complicated problem and I was very satisfied with the workmanship and customer service. I will definitely keep them on hand for any and all plumbing work I need in the future!
Had someone come out to give me a quote for a plumbing problem we had. They quoted me over $1000 for a job that cost $200 elsewhere. The guy was pushy about starting immediately. He did end up calling a water damage company to come a look at the damage and they ended up charging thousands just to dry a small area. I wouldn't recommend this company because I felt overcharged and pressured into having them do the work.
Septic backed up Saturday afternoon - eeesh.
Called them and they dispatched Jason. He was professional and friendly and got the job done for $77! Back in business. Pleased to not get oversold and get emergency service with no surcharge.
So happy and highly recommend.
Thanks again Jason!
This company is nothing but an insurance fraud. They came to my house for clogged bathroom drains, ran a camera and decided that I needed to have my bed removed, the bedroom needed to be jack hammered to get to the clog and they wanted to completely restore my cabinets and three feet of my wall. My floor, tile by the way, never had water on it and it certainly never touched the walls. The water did not even back up enough to come out of my two inch shower floor.
They just wanted to bill the hell out of my homeowner's insurance and were adamant that THEY were the ones that talked to my insurance company, not me. They had a sub-contractor (AZ Packout) come and haul my bed away and they put it in storage. Why not in another room in my house?! The whole experience was very sketchy, so I canceled it the same day 11/9/17. But the sub contractor did not want to return my bed. He wanted me to wait until Monday when he found out that I was not going through with the restoration. After many phone calls and a lot of arguing with AZ Packout, who was trying to charge me $400 to return my bed, Rooter Hero said they would eat the bill for that and my bed was returned to me on Saturday, 11/11/17.
Funny thing is, I had another company come out and I did not even have a clog where they said I do. Complete insurance scam. Make sure you look up their ROC#. When I did, it was suspended.
azroc.gov/forms/details.…
Ron from rooter hero was great very informative and attentive the company as a whole was impressive I called them and the very next day took care our needs I highly recommend them.
Keep looking for a plumbing company. I can't trust this one.
This review ironically follows Rooter Hero's previous Yelp review from the original owner of the home my daughter recently purchased. Here is the rest of the story.
Rooter Hero installed a water heater about a year prior and the problems were apparent to me when looking at the house and presented the concerns to the buyer during the transaction.
And here they are, The temperature and pressure relief valve were not plumbed to code. The building code requires the line to be copper (it was plastic) and it must exit the building to prevent flooding and/or scalding of people and it did not. They did replace the plastic to copper, but Rooter Hero allowed the pipe to terminate in a drain pain that would have overflowed in seconds causing damage to this home as well as the one underneath it. This was unprofessional work and clearly not to code even after bringing it to their attention. The second issue was the vent ducting connecting to the water heater to the vent pipe. It wasn't secured with screws, it was didn't have the gentle upward arc to the vent pipe required to vent combustion gases safely. The pictures show the deficiencies clearly. The vent pipe actually dips downward. What is not visible in the picture was a tear resulting from the tight bends. This was a carbon monoxide source.
When I shared the pictures you see here with two contractors I have used in the past they both said this work was substandard and not to code. I took this information and spoke with Lawrence, the general manager who shared he doesn't know California building codes as he is from Canada and has only been working for Rooter Hero for 3 days. His defense was that the work was done and the customer was happy. I reminded him that the home owner is not a licensed plumber. I don't hold him responsible. He was not the professional here. I also spoke with Adam the plumber who insisted that the vent and the T&P lines were properly installed and to code, though he was willing to sell me a Watts 210 T&P valve that would solve the problem for an additional $1200. This was the correct remedy. The job should never have been sold as it was without the Watts 210. The job was sold out of compliance with building codes. Clearly he was aware of the correct methods but left the property in an unsafe condition. It was shared that the original plumber from Rooter Hero was fired for doing poor quality work, and Adam came in twice after. Rooter Hero was on site three times that I am aware of, and even after concerns were shared, left the home dangerous to life and property with measured high levels of carbon monoxide and a job that was not done to code.
I had the issues resolved by a licensed contractor. He was shocked when he measured the carbon monoxide prior to the repairs as well as the overall lack of professionalism of the work. So the former owner of the home gives Rooter Hero a great review because he was told that any deficiencies with the job were corrected. The owner was pleased that there was no charge, yet completely unaware that in reality, even after the replaced pipe, the 1. T&P line was still not to code. 2. The vent leaked carbon monoxide because it was not correctly installed. 3. No sediment trap for the gas line was installed and required by code and 4. No expansion tank was installed. Yet that customer thought he was well taken care of. Sorry, but the work was substandard and totally unprofessional. I would expect this kind of work from an unlicensed laborer. Rooter Hero had no business leaving the home in that condition.
I am speaking to you from the viewpoint of a parent whose daughter would have taken possession of a home that could have caused her illness or death even after Rooter Hero's was notified of the concerns.

Efficient and professional service. Needed a shower drain snaked. The company I had been using before suddenly stopped offering the competitive snaking deal that had made me their customer for years. I called around for quotes - $120, $130, $140 - and Rooter Hero offered a price with one of their coupons for $77 - SOLD. And I was super impressed. The technician was punctual, professional, clearly trustworthy and worked efficiently and cleanly. I will be calling Rooter Hero from now on and I will recommend them to all my friends and neighbors. And when a bigger issue presents itself, Rooter Hero will be the first call I make. In the end, cost is the driver, but it is important to know that Rooter Hero offers quality, reliable work which puts them at the front of the line for me. Price around for the work you need, but know that this company will do the job well and they will stand by their quote, so definitely weigh that heavily when choosing who to hire.
Edit: I am leaving most of original text of the review, but have updated it with additional info.. The manager did reach out to me a couple days later and we had a good discussion. Apparently the guy that was scheduled for my repairs just walked off the job and was not reachable by anyone. As a business owner myself, I can empathize with the situation. I don't blame the business for this, however the manager did acknowledge that if they had better internal communication between teams, they could have rescheduled someone else once they were aware of the problem. In the end, I had another company complete the repairs so I cannot say good or bad about their actual quality of work.
Original:
Had a plumbing repair scheduled for a Thursday afternoon. The technician called me a few hours before hand, he was stuck on another job and asked to reschedule for Sunday afternoon. I said fine, but please keep in touch and confirm beforehand. He said he would. I never heard from him and nobody showed up Sunday afternoon.
The guy did not respond to my texts nor did he answer or return my calls.. so I called the company to find out what was going on. The lady told me I was scheduled for Monday at 3pm.. This was not correct, and when she looked into it, she saw that I was originally scheduled for Sunday and did not know why it had been changed. Also, I was never notified of the change and I would not have been present. But anyway, I was told the technician had already checked out for the day and they did not have anybody else they could send out, and there was nothing they could do. She said she would try to reach the guy and I could work it out with him. But I have received no communication at all, and it's disappointing that the person I spoke to did not seem to have the ability to resolve the situation herself.
This company has wasted 4 hours of my time and 240 miles worth of gas.. 2 round trips (one for the estimate and then today when the work was supposed to be scheduled). Totally failed to deliver.
Louie came out to my house after 5 p.m, my whole house was backing up, I was freaking out, but Louie came in and noticed my stress right away. He came in talked me through the process and let me know this was very common. He had my drains running in less than an hour. He showed me on camera my issue, I had roots in the line, he was very nice and very knowledgeable, he explained to me how other customers on fixed income tackle an issue like this, and it happen to work. I appreciate your hard work and your honesty, this company has gained my trust because of guys like him.
Had a kitchen sink backup. Carlos B. was at the house in less than 2 hours after calling it in on a Sunday afternoon. He took care of the clogged drain, got pricing immediately on other products and services that would help prevent this situation from reoccurring a 3rd time, and was not at all pushy with sales. Carlos was courteous, friendly, and I will definitely use them again! The only thing that was a little confusing was the website for the local Rooter Hero seemed to have outdated coupons compared to the ones being offered. Nonetheless it was still a great deal.
These guys are con artists. Our pressure vacuum breaker was leaking, so I contacted Rooter Hero to fix it. Someone came out and quoted us $1019 to replace it. He said the part alone cost $600. A quick Google search revealed that the part could be obtained for less than $100 from Amazon, Home Depot, or many other places. We said no thanks. We had someone from another company come out a replace the part for $100. Rooter Hero plumbing literally quoted us more than 10 times what another company charged, and lied to us about the cost of the part.
Based solely on scheduling and not getting an estimate. I made an appointment to have a bathtub drain and a bathtub valve reworked and was told someone would be there between 9 am and 11 am. I received a call the day of the appointment at 10 am from a lady in the office telling me that the guys just left a meeting and my appointment was next scheduled so they would be there closer to 11 o'clock. I waited until 12 o'clock and heard nothing. After i left because i had other things to take care of i received a call at 12:15 saying they would be there in 30 mins. They showed up finally at 1:15 and i wasn't there because i had other things to do. My nanny answered the door and they told her that they would call me to reschedule because they missed their time frame. No surprise to me, they never did. Im not sure how good they are at actually doing the work, but scheduling and estimating definitely needs a lot of work.
An update from my original review: Rooter Hero reached out to me after seeing my review and apologized for any inconveniences. They also tried to make up for my first experience with them being a bad one. The job i had them come take a look at has already been completed but I will give them another shot to earn my business and trust again in the nearby future on another project.
My garbage disposal stopped working and they came to check it out very quickly. Another company wouldn't even come out to see the issue but Daniel came out and gave great, honest recommendations. Daniel was speedy and did a great job. I would recommend this company.
Unfortunately zero stars are not possible. This company is incompetent and dishonest. We had a leak under our kitchen sink and called what we thought was Steven's Plumbing. We were not informed, but as it turned out, Rooter Hero had bought out Stevens. Three plumbers came to our home. They put a camera down the sewer line without asking if the charge would be accepted and fixed the plumbing under the sink. This took over three hours. The end result was a $402 charge. After they left, the leak under the sink was much worse. They also advised that our sewer system need to be flushed, a $2,500 cost and that our sewer line would need to be replace, a $22,000 cost. Correct, $22,000 you are not misreading. They forgot to press record when they put the camera down the sewer line but assured that the line had not been graded properly and the joins were compromised. They also offered coupons and a payment plan to help us with the nearly $25,000 needed to correct our serious plumbing issue. We then called three more companies. All three, after scoping the line, stated there was minimal to no problem with the sewer line. One of the companies, Parker and Sons, did not charge for the call because their policy is that second opinions are free. Parker and Sons is now our go-to plumbing company. Rooter Hero, you had your chance.
I called the day before to schedule the unclogging of my main sewer pipe.
They gave me an appointment for 9:30 .
The next morning a representative called me around 10:15 to inform me that they were so busy that they couldn't do my job that day.
I cancelled the job and found a plumber in Tempe with great reviews on Yelp.
I called and 3 hours later the job was done for a lower price.
Bottom line- they're too big to take care of you -
A big shout out to Rooter Hero Plumbing!!! I'm so impressed with their customer service as management immediately responded to my complaint and worked with me to resolve my issues within 24 hrs. So my complaint is now a compliment! It's nice to know that there are big companies out there that truly care about their customers!! I will remain a very satisfied long time customer and recommend their services.

Below is what I experienced and posted on my Neighborhood website about the Rooter Hero Plumbing location that I used on 2/01/17. To date I have not received my receipt nor a report providing condition of the pipes & where issues are located. My email to the office requesting this info has not been responded to. Needless to say I am calling the office today as my kitchen pipes are once again clogged. (I do have to note I've used Rooter Hero for 4 years but it was a different location and had great service.. I didn't realize they were independently owned & operated).
Did I get ripped off?

Kitchen sink/DW backed up on Wednesday...plumber came Thursday after I woke up to a flooded kitchen & family room. Apparently the soft water conditioner comes on during the middle of the night, does it thing, backed up sink & dishwasher & water was everywhere.....good morning! Company we have used for 5 years came out. Tried to unblock clog in kitchen sink...couldn't clear. Then went to main drain out front.....still couldn't clear. Sink was still backing up after both snaking jobs. So plumber said they would have to use a camera to find the block @ $275...I ageed but it took an hour for his supervisor to get here with camera. Supervisor said main drain was totally blocked and we need a hydro jetting done on our pipes (they told us this in 2013 but at $4,000 we refused). No problem since until now. So supervisor tried to talk me into it again @ $1000's and he would work with me on monthly payments, etc. Asked if I could afford $94/mo. Said sorry but no can do. So then the plumber guy came back in with a different snake machine. Snaked it again and able to use sink & dishwasher. indicated he made a small opening in our pipes???) Then he was writing up the bill & wanted to charge me $77 for unclogging the dran plus $275 for the camera! Whoa.....I had already discussed not paying The $77 since theiy indicated customers would not be charged if it wasn't cleared on the first try & supervisor agreed. So it was removed. However I have been doing some research and I think I got screwed big time. There are plumbing cos on Angies List that only charge $340 for hydro jetting!! So I'm waiting for my email bill from plumbing company and I will move forward. Seems like it never stops & you can't trust anybody! Not sure what to think.
Laundry room & kitchen were backed up, Mario and Josh showed up within 2 hours and had the drains free and clear within 30 minutes! Professional, polite and didn't leave a mess. Thanks for showing up so quickly on a Friday afternoon and getting the job done! I would recommend Rooter Hero again.
Where is the 10 stars button. This is the first plumber in Phoenix that has shown me honesty, compassion, and integrity in my last 20+ years that I have resided in Phoenix. They went out of their way to help me out after I had many companies drop the ball with me. Everything that they said they would do, they did and my sewer line was replaced in record time by a friendly professionals that are licensed, bonded, and insured. Look no further because these are the guys you can trust to get the job done at a fair price and on-time. I will definitely be using them again as their customer service is impeccable.
I called Rooter Hero because my garbage disposal was clogged. They sent Bobby out promptly. He unjammed my disposal and left me a tool to do it myself in the future. I appreciate the extra time he took to teach me about disposals. I'll definitely recommend Bobby and Rooter Hero plumbing in the future.
Chris Ball did a great job on our 2 toilets! Came out same day on a holiday and no extra charge. Very fair rates for their services completed. Best part is they did a scope with a camera of our plumbing so we could see for ourselves what was going on. Didn't try to upsell us and actually said we didn't need new equipment as the previous plumber claimed. Will definitely use again!
My water heated sprouted a major leak on the night before Easter Sunday. I called Rooter Hero and they were professional and sent someone out within the hour. This is why they get any stars. The tech came out and shut off the unit and said he would be back with another guy the next day between 8-10am to discuss my options. At 10 the next morning I had not heard anything yet so called and was told I was scheduled between 10-12. It would have been nice to get that update but ok. At 11 I got a call from a manager that said it would be later in the day but he would give me an hour's notice so that I did not spent the whole day tied up waiting. A half hour later I got a call from a different tech saying he was on his way. I asked about the hour warning, since I now was out running an errand, and was told he could wait an hour if needed. The new tech came out and said that I had a special heater so it was going to be expensive and I might as well get a new tankless unit. This was the extent of the option discussion. He did not even provide any guidance on the pros/cons of a tank or tankless unit. I asked how much each option would be and he said the tankless was about $6800 and the tank would be more but he needed to get more info on Monday morning to be sure. He said he would get me a quote by noon on Mon. That was over 3 weeks ago and I never heard back. In the meantime I got more quotes and the highest quote I got was at least $3000 LESS than the Rooter Hero quote and this was for replacement of the exact same type of special heater that I had before. I honestly feel that the quote from Rooter Hero was so outrageously overpriced that they were embarrassed to put it in writing. They made two trips to my home and if they had they just given me a fair quote they would have had a sale and a loyal customer and a good review but instead they hoped I would just say yes to the first outrageous quote. They were so sure they were out of line that they never even followed up. Such an odd business model, especially during these times when they had a cash customer. Beware of these guys and always get more quotes.
The technician did a good job cleaning our air conditioner but we paid with a credit card and had fraudulent charges that same day and the next day. I called them and they said they would check into it. It's very inconvenient for me, though.
David and Jason,
Installed an ADA toilet that was very difficult to find due to the type of installation required at my Sun City home. I highly recommend these two men. They kept me informed of all the special parts they needed to find in order to get this done correctly.
Rooter Hero gave me prompt assistance with a water line leak. Technician Gabe came out just a few hours after I called. Although he could not perform the repair that evening, he explained this issue and shut off the water. He called in the morning as promised. He and another technician, Adrian, came out the next day and performed the service as promised. They were polite and professional. I would absolutely use Rooter Hero again.
We had service from Danny which was awesome and effective. He came in and diagnosed the problem and fixed it quickly. We will make sure to keep calling Danny for plumbing needs.
I had a water heater that bursted and flooded the garage and underneath the pedestal structure of the house. Got an insurance claim and had everything dried out and pedestal structure reconstructed. Rooter hero did the removal and install of new heater, it was professionally done and very good job to Bobby, appreciate it. Insurance company had asked me to hold onto the old broken heater for a while but in a few days was adviced i can dump it already. I just had city do bulk trash pickup for me before this so i was told they would be able to pick up for me in 6 weeks else, i had to pay a fee. I thought of calling Rooter hero and sure enough Bobby came to pick it up and dump the old heater for me. Going beyond expectations, thanks!
This is the best experience I've ever had with any type home improvement company. They kept me updated on what they were doing, what was done, and accurate timeframes of when the work would be finished. The plumbers were clean and friendly. No one even pushed me to buy anything (which is one my favorite things about this experience)!
My home was left intact and clean. Not grimy and dusty like other companies have left my home...
I absolutely plan on continuing my business with this company.
My landlord called these people on a Sunday to come and snake out our drain. The plumber they sent was very nice, clean and professional. He looked at our problem and I took him to the drain clean out in the backyard. He commented that there are supposed to be 2 drain clean outs; one going to the main and one going to the house. He then went to his van and called the landlord. After about 15 minutes, the plumber came back and said that the landlord is going with another company.
The landlord called me after and informed me that they originally quoted a price of $79 to snake the drain. However, when she talked to the plumber, he quoted a price of $300 due to the fact that there was only one clean out drain.
The plumber could have at least tried to snake the clog before calling the landlord. It would have been a better experience and they could have lodged their concerns with the landlord and provide an estimate afterwards.
I am surprised that I have to write this when I see the other 5 star ratings, however, I do feel like they tried to pull a fast one. I have to say that if I were paying the bill I would have sent your plumber packing as well.
This company is AMAZING! About a week ago I noticed that my shower was draining very slow and my toilet was as well. I thought at the time that this was a minor issue and would be fixed with just a simple clearing of the drains.. When Mike came out, he was able to get them going again but he did say that there would be bigger issues if I did address them soon.. He worked with me since I was on a tight budget since I am a single mother. At the end when my pipes were fixed I was a very happy customer and pleased with the work they did.
Don't bother with this company. We called these clowns for a problem with my plumbing, 3 young unprofessional guys showed up, looked like they were partying all night, and walked around with their hands in their pockets and didn't even look at my problem. Just kept rattling prices ; $300 to touch a pipe, $300 to go on the roof, $300 if they take their tools out,.. etc so much for a free estimate what a waste of time. They wanted to tear out the tile floor and knock out a wall to try and figure out what's wrong !!?? What a joke.
Lousy customer service. They called an hour before 2 hour window when we went out, and didn't leave a message. Wasted two hours waiting for them to call/ show up. When we called at end of window, they gave another 2 hour window from 6:30pm to 8:30 pm. When no one showed up by 7:30, we called and they stated something came up and would not be able to come tonight. Horrible communication, and would not recommend.
I purchased a home in Sun City, my plumbing had a backup. I called Rooter Hero to snake the line. I asked if the can send a camera down the line at which they performed at no charge. Although the results came back with the old cast iron piping being completely shot. On the monitor you can see the cast iron had rotted out almost the entire length of the pipe to the street. It was just terrible news and very pricy, so i got several bids for a full pipe replacement procedure called Pipe Bursting, where they bore through the excisting piping with a new ABS pipe, pulling it through hydraulically. Rooter Hero gave me the best bid out of several of the valleys top compeditors. Being that over 25 years ago I had 5 contractors licenses, one being plumbing, I can tell you they did an excellent job in a professional manner. I would recommend Rooter Hero without reservations, they were a hard working crew, Rocky the Supervisor was very knowledgeable, along with Adam, Chris and a couple others were excellent plumbers. Use these guys, you won't be disappointed! .... Thanks guys...Ron
Had some issues to start but Rooter Hero worked hard to resolve them. thanks
If you're a landlord, property manager, or HOA, these are the guys you want on your team. They offer corporate accounts so billing and scheduling is quick and painless. Their pricing is very competitive, and the service technicians are highly knowledgeable and able to communicate effectively throughout the process, from scheduling to job completion. They fit multiple units of mine onto the schedule the same day I called, and all of my tenants had great things to say about the tech's professionalism and courtesy. Plus, all of their employees are background screened and drug tested, and as a locally owned franchise, Rooter Hero keeps my money here in AZ. Thanks guys.
PS...Service tech Raymond is the man...thanks Ray!
Dan was able to resolve a lot of plumbing issues for us. He is professional and a really good plumber. I had a few major issues and the company was able to find a resolution. Plumbing issues are no fun, but Dan is a trustworthy professional.

Felt extremely ripped off. Paid almost $500.00 and my drain still doesn't work. We definitely misunderstood pricing structure we expected 300.00 and paid almost 500.00. I would get my pricing in writing with these people and also some kind of guarantee. Won't call agian and won't refer any one.
I've never negatively posted on line before. In Dec. I hired ROOTER HERO to fix a clogged toilet. While they were here, I hired them to do some extra work. My tech said he would replace my bathroom sink drain. He said he did not have the right part, but would call me within a few hours to install the drain. 5-TIMES he made appointments with me and never showed-up and never called to cancel. I called the manager and he did not return my calls either. I would never use or recommend this company.
I had a badly clogged kitchen sink. I tried plunging it over and over again, I snaked it up to about 9 feet, and used a thing called drain king which shoots water into the pipe from your garden hose (yes, I sealed the vent) and I finally gave up..I found this business (Rooter Hero) in the yellow pages, the paper kind, old school. The ad promised 79.00 and they delivered on that. I was going to use another popular Plumbing service but then I read alot of bad reviews on them, mostly on the high cost of what many customers said thought was not a big job. The plumber that came to my house (Alex) was nice, professional and professionally snaked it up to 80 feet. He had my sink clog free in just a little over 15 minutes. I was relieved in so many ways. And I thought the 79.00 cost was very much affordable. I am a real customer who lives in Peoria, AZ

Fast service actually came earlier than promised My drain was clogged in kitchen had already had someone else try and fix rooter hero came to the rescue they fixed my drain fast reassembled the sink checked for leaks and made recommendations very friendly no hidden fees Thank you rooter hero you are my new plumbing hero for sure
My garbage disposal clogged the night before and I had to wait until I got off work to call. I called around 4:15pm and Clarence was at my house by 6:30pm! He was so kind and professional. He explained everything he was doing, cleaned up what little mess was made and put everything back under my sink perfectly. I would recommend Rooter Hero to anyone needing plumbing services.
I received the reply to my review from the owner of Rooter Hero. He asked me to call him directly so I thought why not.I wasn't sure what to expect, but he apologized for his delayed response and for the terrible service I received. He has new management now and would like to make it right, he said he will refund my money and send me a gift card which i received today. So I want to say Mike (the owner) did what he said he was going to do and thank you for keeping your word. That is what a honest business man does.
We were so empressed with the service we received. The plumber was such a gentleman Chris and so clean. I will always use them in the future. Im very happy and I have other jobs for them to do. I highly recommend them very professional.
What I want to tell you about this company is that this is a great company that I had to deal with. My Kitchen sink got clugged very bad, on the outside of my house, and it was clugged for about 3-4 month. I was trying to fix it myself, it hepled for a little while and then same problem over and over again. So I called one company, who couldnt tell me the price for cable drain over the phone, so when they came the waned to charge me $225, so I said that ROOTER HERO charges only $77 for the same job, and they left. So I called ROOTER HERO, they showed up in about 30-40 min and the guy, name SORO, told me that my problem wouldnt go away if he would just do a cable drain. So he suggested to do a complete water jet cleap up for less than $300. So he did, and now my problem is solved!!! Also, he gave me 2 year warranty on this. I Think this is a very good deal!!!
Rooter hero was great. Had a back up of sewage on a Sunday morning, arrived by 8.30am. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Had to come back the next day (a holiday no less) to run a camera thru the pipes. Ended up having to replace pipe due to root damage. They did the job quickly and professionally,
Highly recommend to all!
Our office toilet clogged and we were unsuccessful at plunging the problem. We only have 1 toilet, so it was a bit of an emergency to get it fixed today. I called a handful of plumbing companies, and all stated they would have someone call us back to schedule a same-day appointment. Rooter Hero was the ONLY company to follow through! I called around 12:00pm, and received a call back around 12:15pm. I was given the name of our tech and an estimate of 60-90 minutes. Don arrived right at the 60-minute mark in a clean work van, as well as, a clean uniform. He introduced himself and quickly got to work. Cleared the clog and provided friendly recommendations to avoid the clog happening again in the future. Before paying he asked if we had a coupon, and I did. He took a copy with him, and charged me the exact price as listed on the coupon. No surprise fees! He was friendly, professional, and our plumbing hero! We will definitely use Rooter Hero again if we need these types of services. Thank you!
Joey and Justin came on time and did a wonderful job unclogging drain. They were extremely fair and customer oriented to ensure I was satisfied with the work before they left. I appreciate their work and the customer service provided. I will be a future customer.
Called at 11:00 at night on a Sunday. They were there within minutes, and had the drain cleaned out in less than an hour. NO price gouging here! Very reasonable pricing! A++
Highly, highly, recommend Rooter Hero for any plumbing issues you may have. Not having a regular plumber, I found Rooter Hero on the internet, and was so pleased with their service and prices I felt compelled to write. First off, it was Joey who came to the house, professional, personable, friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and explained what needed to be done and the cost of the service before the work began. Two toilets leaking, one literally overflowed, no one was home, and water everywhere. Joey installed all brand new equipment in the overflowed tank, and sealed the leak on the other toilet, all for $100 total, I think they had a coupon that day. Joey went out of his way to ensure everything was working properly, was there between the two hour window I was given and called prior to arriving with the exact time he'd be there. I was so impressed with not only the quality of work done, but the extremely professional demeanor of Joey, one heck of an employee at Rooter Hero. Again, I will always use them in the future if need be, and would recommend Rooter Hero to anyone who may have plumbing issues, great company.
My window for service was between 9-11am today. I've called the office 3 times and each time the plumber is on his way. The last time I called I said I was going to call a different plumber and the person said I don't blame you. We've waited ALL day and no one has shown up. I wouldn't refer this company to anyone for anything!
Rooter plumbing was great!! Arrived in a very timely manner. Very courteous and fixed the clogged line within minutes. I would definitely use their services again.
despite a problem at first, I am a satisfied customer now .Tony T , a supervisor, made everything work out very well.
These guys tried to rip me off! I had a clogged drain so they quoted me $79 and sent out their rep. Really nice guy, he said he suspected I have a BIG problem but snaked out the drain anyway and I paid my $79. He said he and his master plumber boss would come back with a camera and figure out exactly what the BIG problem was. Sure enough, they came back with their camera and figured out how BIG my BIG problem really was. it was $4000 BIG. I said I'd think about it, not really believing them because I'd had the drain snaked before and it worked fine and since it had just been snaked again, it would be good for now. 2 days later, the drain backed up again. They said the only thing that would fix it would be the $4000 repair. I decided to call out another company and they cleared it with a cutting blade for $125. The 2nd company said that Rooter Hero didn't really snake it properly in the first place, they just ran a half-inch snake which reclogged as soon as a piece of toilet paper went down the drain. I knew what they were telling me didn't make sense and I'm glad I didn't trust them. No one should. These kinds of thieves should not be allowed to operate the way they do. Shame on you and shame on you Rooter Hero. One day, you will realize that thieves never prosper.
Hired them to come snake a slow drain a while ago. Arizona is hot but the man smelled horrible, like extreme body odor, cigarettes and bad breath. He walked through our carpeted home with his dirty shoes on, walked all over my bath mats before I could move them (and obviously did not move them himself or put on shoe covers like most nice companies do). He then tried to say that the drain could not be snaked and the flooring needed to be pulled up with extensive plumbing repair ($$$). When we told him we would have to think about it and it was not something we could do today, he was suddenly able to pull up the clog and solve the problem. I do not trust this company and would never hire them again. I feel bad for the innocent people who are tricked into their upselling, scheming ways. Yes people write bad reviews when they are upset, but there is a reason there are mostly bad reviews on here.
Fast. Prompt. Courteous. I called mid morning...they answer their phones! Amazing..no voice mail no automated craziness, a real human being! They took my information and with-in one hour I had an appointment for the same day. Daniel the service technician showed up on time as promised by the company. Daniel was friendly, professional, took care of the problem quickly and efficiently! I will definitely refer them to everyone and if I need this type of service again they will be the first company I call! Thank you!!
Rooter Hero to the Rescue! We were taken advantage of by a con artist working under someone else's contractors license. This person sold us many thousands of dollars of services to remodel our shower and after many excuses and delays, the shower was semi-complete. However, with the first use, it is obvious the shower was plugged. The other company called Rooter Hero to diagnose the problem when they could not. Rooter Hero discovered not only a pipe full of cement (under the slab of our home) but also uncovered the shoddy workmanship the other company did, using only temporary connections to smaller pipes than normally used. In fact, the temporary connections were already leaking! We had been taken advantage of a had a true mess on our hands BUT Rooter Hero has been with us every step of the way. They operate with true integrity and have done a perfectly correct job with the utmost level of professionalism and a level of customer service and support that is often unheard of today. They have helped us document and provided pictures of the incorrect work so that we can hopefully recuperate some of our money from the other company. They have provided caring, emotional support to us during this stressful and difficult time. I would not hesitate to use this company again and I will always sing their praises far and wide. THANK YOU ROOTER HERO!!
