Firebird Lock and Key

I was very pleased with Firebird.  The locksmith was very responsive, came out the same day, was friendly, and did a great job picking the lock for my lost key for my rooftop carrier spending extra time to get everything right and was very fair with his price.

This is a 1 man shop with an overachiever owner, Paul, who was great. His prices are way more reasonable than the others, he answers his phone and was very responsive. Showed up in a sweet ambulance converted to a work truck...it did make a family member nervous to see it out front but it made for a good chuckle. Paul made a new key for my car in excellent time for a great price, hard to beat it, will definitely be my go to guy moving forward.

We just moved into our new home and needed the mail box rekeyed. I called a couple of places, Firebird was one of them but agreed to give the work to another company. It was a Friday afternoon and we were going to meet at 4/6pm. I get a call and the other company wanted to now charge me triple from the quoted price. YOU'RE FIRED!! (insert trump voice).

I called back Firebird and told them I fired the original locksmith and would like for them to take care of it. We agreed Monday morning we would meet. I got a call Monday morning with a time frame and a promise. Paul was there on time and the work was done quickly and efficiently. Customer service is a lost art these days and I really appriciate it when I experience it.

Paul took care of us and I will call again for any other locksmith situations.

This is how things are done

I needed a 2nd set of keys (and fob) for my truck after my wife's purse was stolen.  I called my local Chevy dealer and they wanted $400 to replace the fob and program it.  True value wanted $120 to replace and reprogram the fob.  I got Paul's number (Paul Sunderman, owner of Firebird Lock and Key) from someone who had recommended him via the NextDoor app.  I called Paul and he came out ( he provides mobile service) to my house in just a couple hours.  He not only replaced and reprogrammed me a new fob for $85 , but he also cut me a new replacement key for my truck (a key with a chip in it) for $85!  
OUTSTANDING service and everything works fine - all for less than half what the dealer was gonna charge me + he did it at the convenience of right at my house!

Needed a key / fob for my Toyota RAV4.. Paul the owner called me back within 10 mins, we  scheduled a time and he told the total price (fair price compared to the dealership). Paul showed up to my house on time, honored his price, took a look at my broken fob offered to fix that as well. So I have two keys now! He was very professional, friendly and fast. Highly recommend this local business.

Exactly all the things I checked off. Arrived as said and in a very timely manner (in his bad a$$ ambulance turned into locksmith truck.) Has a great personality. Knows his field. I could go on but all in all a great guy/company/locksmith! I would refer to anyone in the East Valley. Side note I have a relative who is a locksmith but lives out in Glendale. However, I liked this guy's knowledge, experience, and up to date in technology. (Shhh... I didnt say that haha)

The owner (Paul) is a great guy! Very friendly and good sense of humor. He was super flexible, as I had to change my appointment several times. No issue! He has been in the business for a long time and is super knowledgeable. We had to get a replacement key FOB for our Infiniti and he came back with very reasonable pricing (less than half the price compared to what the car dealership quoted us). Thanks Paul! I had a great experience with Firebird Lock and Key. Paul made it easy by coming to my work, came early for our appointment, then cut a perfect key for my somewhat obscure car. He was very knowledgeable about cars in general and made the whole interaction easy.  I will definitely use Firebird for all of my keys and locks in the future.

Paul has amazing customer service! My car registered a "bad key" this morning, and he was over promptly to help fix a new key. He was personable, efficient and completed the job in minutes! His prices were more than fair for his excellent service. Definitely keeping his card on hand if I ever need with a different vehicle. Highly recommend!
