Evergreen Pest and Termite

I would recommend Evergreen. The reminders for next service days is spot on if changes to date or time is needed. Techs are very polite and respectful of me and my property.

I bought my house in 2011 and signed up for Evergreen's bi-monthly service. I swear in the 10 years I've lived there I've seen two bugs in my house. Evergreen is reliable, friendly, communicative, and reasonably priced. They provide heads-up e-mails to let you know when the next service will be; they are patient while I corral the dogs inside before they start their work; and are knowledgeable and friendly, answering any questions I've had and explaining additional treatments or services thoroughly. Highly recommended!

We've been with the company for 7yrs every time I call the lady dispatcher seems very condescending and bothered.

I've been using this company for years and always thought it was ok until ants got into my house a few weeks ago and when I called last Evergreen last week  and left a message to call me back to schedule something I got no return call. When I try to call in to speak with alive person all departments sent me to voice mail. I had to press the department for payment to get someone to answer and to look up my account and information if I was still on a contract. Poor customer service and no return call, and bugs still in my yard. I am taking my business elsewhere.

I had Lloyd come out this morning and so far he's my favorite. He noticed a crack in my garage door and pointed it out so that i was aware bugs are coming in from there,  he proactively put out bug traps in my Garage.

Since my 1st call with Evergreen i have had 0 sightings of scorpions (  I found 4 before calling them) and black widows.

Been with Evergreen for about a year and am happy with the service. I've wavered on doing it myself, but for now will continue having them service the home since I'm just too lazy. Sean has come out the last two times and is incredibly nice and thorough with the work he does. Knocking off a star from the original sales pitch. It was a door to door thing and was pretty pushy about making a sale. I did research after he left and found the pricing comparable to others, so went ahead with Evergreen anyway.

Also, thank you for finally getting sticky boards!! Maybe you've always had them, but I'd never received any until Sean's visit from last time and could probably use a whole stack to stick around everywhere.

In reading the prior (and some very old reviews) I would have to say it appears that Evergreen has been able to turn things around.  We are very pleased with our service.  Corey White came by yesterday and did an excellent job for us.  We have dogs and never leave our gate open and they always accommodate us by calling ahead so we can prepare and put the dogs away and open the side gate.

This time around since we were at the very end of our quarterly service window we did see a few spider webs around the back patio which is normal.  He even cleaned those up for us before leaving.  We have been in our new build home for just shy of a year and they have been servicing it since day one.  

We also have it in our contract that Scorpion service is to be done every time and they always do it.  We have never seen one in or around our property so either our neighborhood just does not have a problem or their original treatment and ongoing treatment has prevented us from having an issue.

We have been very pleased with the results and would recommend them to anyone.

We had Sean our today and he did a really great job and was very eager to take care of our needs. We have been using Evergreen Pest for the last 5 years and I tell anyone who asks to use them. We never see bugs and whatever they do for scorpions is working because our neighbors are always complaining about seeing them and I have only seen 1 in the last 5 years. I expect to have many more years of great service from them.

We've only been here two months, so in interest of that I am leaving four stars with room for improvement :-). However, I have no complaints.  They have been prompt and friendly, and the only bugs I have seen have been dead.  Sean came today and was courteous and efficient.  I would recommend.

I have had Evergreen for six years and have always enjoyed the service. Had Sean at my house today who offered to spray my garage as well as treat my house and asked me house the inside was doing. I greatly appreciate being asked additional questions during a routine service call.

I called Evergreen pest and termite control to come do a spray in and outside of my house. This is about the third or fourth time to have come out since I have moved into my new home. Where I live we have a few little insects due to builders digging up the ground. They came out did a thorough spray inside and out and also did a few other things outside. The billing process was simple and easy and they said try to schedule you for every three months. They will typically call you prior to coming out to verify you need to spray and it's that simple. They're willing to work around your schedule thank you to SHAWN for coming out and giving us exceptional service we appreciate you and your company For the services you provide. I received my first visit with Evergreen after switching from another valley pest control company. My technician Sean was personable and knowledgeable. He took his time explaining and examining indoors and outdoors. He offered tips to combat scorpions entering our home. I am looking forward to a long relationship with Evergreen and being scorpion free! I took advantage of their October referral special, my previous company never offered any specials to long time customers???

This company is the Best! Our tech Dean really went out of his way to provide amazing customer service and took his time to answer any questions or concerns we had. Dean and Robin advised us on all of our payment options and were right up front from the start which was very professional in my opinion. That's a main factor in what gives a company real, honest integrity. Evergreen is a company that earned my trust. Dean was quick, efficient, and very polite. Robin was wonderful on the phone. I'm going to give them 5 Stars! If there were more stars, I'd give them.

Also! To clear up one thing I noticed real quick. Any bad reviews on here are from people who have not even had the service or got some kind of advertisement delivered to their house and those reviews you shouldn't even look at. They're not even relevant to their service. Just focus on people who actually had the service. That's what matters. That's why we picked them. Thanks Guys.

We use their service every 3 months.  Never have any issues with scorpions etc.  Very friendly staff every time.

I have to give this place 5 stars based on the nightmare we had and the extraordinary lengths that this company went to make everything right!

We got bedbugs on our couch. Did you know that bedbugs don't like alcohol? Well we spray vodka on our bedding because it keeps it fresh and kills bacteria. Who knew the added bonus was that it also prevents and kills bedbugs. But, we don't spray our couch and somehow tracked them in!

Our HOA decided that even though we PAY per month for bug service, they wanted to discontinue service. And even though, they've notified other tenants of other units having it, they were going to push us to the way side.

My fiance fell asleep on the couch and they ate his face and ear alive. He had a horrible reaction and enough was enough. I called like 10 places, and spoke with Robin, who made no false pretense that she knew about bed bugs, but immediately put me in contact with Dean, a technician who specializes bed bugs.

Dean called me back within 10 minutes, after speaking with him, and his option, and vast knowledge. He came later that day (I think it was a Friday evening) and set it up for Wednesday the next week.

Within minutes, he found bed bug casings in the couch, diagnosed the problem and moved forward. Meanwhile the HOA had to do the due diligence and brought in their pest specialist who found NOTHING, of course, and reported that to the HOA so they were clear of responsibility.

Even though Evergreen was going to be expensive, it was worth it to NOT have bed bugs!!!!

Dean walked us through the process, and Wednesday came, and he made it all happen.

Well, who knew our HOA would strike again, and because it's private property, Dean happened to park in the red zone, and our bully pulpit HOA head, decided he wanted to harrass Dean, and THEN write US a ticket for $170 because he was our 3rd party guest.

i reached out to Robin, who reached out to her amazing manager, and not only was she willing to break out the payments so we could AFFORD this nightmare process, but she credited us the fine so we could pay it with the HOA.

Dean got in, and got the job done and the whole apartment. It sucked electricity (literally tripled our bill for 48 hours of this), and we got fines, but at the end of the day, it's all paid off. The customer service and support was WONDERFUL, the whole process is done, we are bug free, and in a heart beat we would recommend and use Evergreen again.

Be sure to READ the CONTRACT.  Young kid came to my door to sell the service to us.  He wouldn't take no for an answer.  I had questions about canceling our service if we moved or did not have use for the service.  He assured us at the time we could cancel but he did not inform us of the cancellation fee.  When we moved out of the house we rented, we wanted to cancel...  We missed the fine print that said there would be a cancellation fee....   The fee was not auto drafted until 5 months later.  They told us they attempted to call us but any calls that came in, no voicemails were left.   Don't know why 5 months later the fee was drafted but eh.   Not a fan of the pushy sales guy and Mis leading sales guy who wanted our service and didn't inform us of anything else but I guess our bad for not reading Fine print.  Call in customer service is non existent.  Good luck.

Not Recommended: 1) remember you are the customer and should not do research on pet's tolerance eating dried plant material that has been sprayed, unless you check with your Vet. 2) If you have to cancel a door2door contract for any reason, do not complain about the fee. You answered the door and should know after watching Wall St. that all contracts are one-sided. Or, do not do business at the door. Co. always right unless Real-ly wrong.

For some reason my original review didn't post. Anyway, I am a very satisfied customer and have been for sometime now.

The techs here know what they are doing and always go the extra mile to keep the bugs away.

I'm now convinced that consistent treatment is the only way to get these pests under control. My wife sometimes asks if we even need pest service now because we don't have any bugs and I remind her that pest control works and that is the reason why we don't have anything. It's a big difference from when what we used to do when we called whenever we started seeing bugs.

Good service, good price. Give them a try, we certainly like them.

Evergreen came out to my house and did a good job. They even followed up on the service they performed and made sure I was happy.

I had their service for about 15 months now and have not seen a scorpion since a couple months after I first started my quarterly service.  If you have any issues with pests they will come spray in between your regularly scheduled service.  The only reason I am giving four stars is because I did see a scorpion inside my house after they came to spray and dust but they do warn you that your service usually increases pest activity because their habitats are disturbed.

My husband and I have been using Evergreen Pest and Termite for about 5 years now. I can't say enough good things about this company. Sean is the most reliable and dependable technician, I request him regularly!

We bought our home & moved into it July '11.  The house had been vacant for approximately 10 months but pest service was maintained by the seller.  After just a few days, we had a cold-call salesman selling us their service.  

Husband agreed - stating that the previous owners disclosed scorpions and we had seen scorpions, crickets & spiders - all dead but evidence that they were there & being controlled by prior service.  We set up a date four our initial treatment.  

Less than a month later, I found a HUGE spider - quite alive.  When I smashed it, she erupted into a flood of a million little tiny spiders.  *gag*  

A week later, another spider.

A week later, a scorpion - quite alive.

We were retreated where my husband followed the guy around - showing him where to spray.  Hundreds of dead crickets were the result of the respray - but not a scorpion or spider corpse to be found.  

A couple weeks later... more spiders.  More scorpions.  ALIVE.  Inside my house.  In my child's bed... in the upstairs bathroom... in the downstairs bathroom... in the kitchen... in the garage.

We called back to cancel service & were told, Oh... you've never gotten a scorpion treatment.  You have to specifically ASK for those...

(Apparently, letting the initial guy know that scorpions were our MAIN point of concern wasn't enough.  We had to ask pretty please will you spray for scorpions, too?!)

We were also told, Well... this IS Arizona...  

Ok - so because this is Arizona means you don't have to stand behind your service?  You are selling me pest control.  I expect you to control the pests.  Finding scorpions in my kids beds is NOT under control.  If I pay you to kill bugs, I do not expect live scorpions in my house at regular & frequent intervals.

ps - I live in a well populated sub-division... not in a rural area.

We scheduled another re-spray... this time including a scorpion service.

Yep... you guessed it... a couple weeks later...

More scorpions & spiders IN THE HOUSE.  

My husband called - again - to cancel the service and now they are threatening us with a early termination fee because we have only been customers for 4 months.  Apparently, we are being held to a minimum contract term that was never communicated.

They will review our contract and get back to us tomorrow... if they do not let us cancel this understood contract for services that are NOT being provided, they're going to be seeing more of me than they will care to... I won't hesitate to become the thorn in their side scheduling weekly resprays.  

In summary, awful service for ineffective pest service.

I love this company.  Yes, I agree with the previous review about too many salesmen coming to my door, but I'm glad I finally sat down with the salesman and signed up for their services.  The exterminators are always prompt, courteous, and professional.  Charles was here today, and I have nothing but praises for his work and personality.  They are A+ in my book!

How many times is enough for ONE company to come to your door!? We haven't even been in our new home for one month and have already had your salesmen at our door 7 times. SEVEN. Your company is the reason we put up a no soliciting sign, which has been ignored repeatedly by your employees! I made the mistake of opening the door the first time thinking it was a schedule appointment we had for home care, but was met by your rep. He tried to use scare tactics with scorpions to have me sign for your service. When I wouldn't budge with an immediate yes, he asked me for a schedule of when my husband would be home to try and talk to him! That is unacceptable. I did fill out the stuff as we had initially considered your service, but after text messages from your reps personal phone asking when my husband would be home and if we had made a choice yet - I will NEVER use your service. Pushy behaviors, blatantly ignoring wishes on our personal property, etc., that's a big NOPE from us.

Evergreen has been treating our home for almost two years now and they have been great. We were new to the area originally and they definitely helped educate us on what to look for. They have always been courteous and we have had very good results because of the treatments. The one time I did see a scorpion between appointments, they came out a day or two later and re-treated the area. We are happy with the service and price.

We just received our normal service from Sean.  He was courteous and took the time to remedy a few things like a dirty sticky trap and a cobweb in our garage.

Evergreen Pest has been awesome, they offered us a good deal to treat our home, and we have never seen a scorpion on our property... ever! We do still have some pesky spiders in the back yard which is why I didn't give them 5 stars but I can't expect to never see a spider in my backyard... Shawn, the man that treats our house is always nice and very friendly to work with! We are happy Customers!

I have been using evergreen for the past two years. Never had any issues and they always come when scheduled. Had them out today and the person was more then helpful.  Overall I like that if there is a issue they are always quick to send someone and they always focus on areas that I point out. These areas could have more bug traffic then normal and they will either spray or put special traps down as well to help with this issue.

I have used Evergreen for about 7 years now and have felt like a valued customer ever since. They have always met my concerns and took any bug problem as serious as I did. Today they treated my house for termites and once again, they were swift and dutiful! Its almost like each serviceman is like an extended family member. I definitely appreciate their professionalism and know how! I recommend them any chance I get!!

We moved to the N. Phoenix area in late 2013 from So Cal. Evergreen came recommended by our daughter who uses them at her house in Desert Ridge. I called and talked to Robin and she was incredibly friendly and informative. Set up the initial service and the follow up a month later. The bug spray dudes were awesome. Had me walk with them on the first spray / treatment and explained everything they were doing and why. Came back today for our third service and again were awesome. Bottom line is we don't know much about bugs and scorpions and don't want to. Thanks to Evergreen and their most excellent service, we don't have to. Highly recommend!

Good luck getting a hold of this company by phone! I call and call and call. EVERYDAY. The phone just rings and rings and finally hangs up on you. I've been calling for days, all hours of the day and night. No answer, no answer, no answer. No answering machine, no message to what the problem is. Truly LOUSY customer service!!!!!!

Great service all around! Professional, polite, and most importantly they keep my home bug free! We have been using them for over two years and we are very pleased.

A young man knocked on my door and told me about their service and as we needed a  pest company we signed up. We have been very happy with what has been done and knowing that if there are problems they will come back out for free. They have been letting us know when they come through email which is convenient.  Hopefully the creepy crawlers will continue to be gone.

I wouldn't recommend this company.  There door to door salesman Zack W. can't follow directions.  Despite a no solicitors sign at our door he still rang the bell.  I advised him I didn't want his service or his card.  He still left his companies trash at my door with his name on it.

I admit, I had never seen a cockroach until I moved to AZ...also I didn't know what a black widow web looked like!  After our neighbors lost their home  we suddenly had big beetles outside.  After a little research I found out those beetles were roaches outside on our patio. I had tried to sell my husband on calling a exterminator but after getting insane price quotes and being told I had to take my three pets OUT of my house for 3 hours or so we kind of let it drop.  I mean the bugs weren't INSIDE, well the normal cricket here and there but not terrible just annoying.  Evergreen was dropping off their information in my community and after talking to Lehi, he showed us the difference between black widow webs and other spiders.  He walked us through everything and even better their products aren't terrible for my pets, no need to keep my animals out of our home for hours!  I also really respected the fact that when I had a question and he wasn't 100% he checked and got back to me once he had a concrete answer!  After that  I was sold!  They are fantastic!  If you find a scorpion or any bugs between visits they come out and fix it ASAP(in our case first thing the very next day!) and it's all included in your contract no extra costs.

Our guy that treats our house, Travis, is super punctual, polite and put together.  He always takes the time to explain or answer any questions we have.  He's just great!  

All in all I love these guys!  They are a great deal, they always are at your house when they say they will be.  Between the pet friendly sprays and knowing I can call them about any little bug and they are on it I would recommend these guys to everyone...actually I do lol!

So I'm shocked to see that this company has only 1 star reviews, it appears the 1 star reviews are based on home to home soliciting rather than the service they provide.  I hope the company improves on their soliciting, because I feel the service they offer is great.

We've always had fast and friendly service, it's easy to schedule the appointments, if we have any bugs in between our next visit they come out and take care of problem.
They were thorough with not only treating our home inside and out, but also spraying down our wall, putting powder in/around all entrance points and any cracks.

We see dead bugs all the time, so it's working!  Normally we have quite a few black widows, scorpions, and a cricket/roach problem...when we stay on schedule we have NONE of these!  We have dogs and kids, so it's important to stay bug free with little feet running around all the time.

These guys as awesome! The prices are very reasonable, the treatment is safe if you have pets in the house (after it dries, of course), and they are always happy to answer any questions. A couple of days ago my husband saw a black widow hanging around and building a web around one of our windows (obviously freaked us out), so even though we weren't due for our next treatment for about 6 weeks, we decided to schedule an extra treatment. I called them around lunchtime and someone was there by 3:00. They sprayed outside, around our doors and windows inside, and all throughout our garage- FOR FREE! If you buy a package and see activity in between treatments, they will come make it right. We will be using Evergreen for as long as we live in the Phoenix area.

We have been super happy with our service from Evergreen.  I moved from Ohio in June, and our bug guy has become one of my favorite people (even though I only see him every couple of months).  I hate bugs.  If I was the slightest bit unhappy with this service, I would have immediately hired another company.  Trust me.  However, SUPER pleased.  I would highly recommend to anyone.  In fact, my husband has added their service to his recommend resources page on his real estate website.  We will recommend to all of our clients.

We are customer 2151 and we have used this pest control for the 3 years we have been in Arizona.   we usually have the same tech Brian and he is professional and curtious.  we are very happy with there service and they are very responsible  to any needs we may have. highly recommend.

If I could give this ZERO stars I would. My boyfriend had service with this company on a quarterly basis. They were instructed to call each time they were coming so we could have someone meet at the house to let them in to do interior and put the dogs away for the exterior. Right off the bat they would just show up and then call saying they were there when no one was clearly there to put the dogs out. They did this for months! Then they just starting leaving their service slip saying they did the back yard and would call to reschedule interior yet we never received a call. They could not do the exterior of the backyard due to a lock on the gate that we have so they were only servicing the front yard and not calling to reschedule anything. We tried calling them to find out what's going on and nothing got resolved. They then stopped servicing all together cause we refused to pay for a service we were not receiving. We then received a letter saying they wanted us to pay them the remainder of the contract (mind you a contract we never received) and it was no small amount or they were sending us to collections. I have since called them spoke to a Robin and I asked her to pull all the service tickets and also the so called contract who informed me on 9/5 that she would email everything. 9/5 & 9/6 came and went and nothing received so I called and spoke to Robin again who told me give her til 9/8. 9/8 came and went and still nothing! Now, we have to fight with the collection agency because they wont cooperate. I DO NOT recommend them to anyone! I do not know of any pest control company that has contracts anymore other than 1 and that is only if you get termites. Other than that no one has contracts. They can not provide us with the signed service tickets nor this contract. Fed up and frustrated!

I had service for 3 years!  Still would find bugs and scorpions.  The house was treated on the 7th and on the 18th I found a dead scorpion inside, but on the 19th I found a live one!!  They said they would treat again, but after 3 years of treatments not working I'm done.

cust # 4390, We've had the service for three years and they come to the house every three months as they advertised. I do point out areas where I have seen pests in the past and they gladly spray extra in those areas. The main issue that I have is with scorpions, I don't like, don't want to step on them. They do spray where they believe the scorpions tend to have a nest, seems to work as I find dead ones every so often. When I find a live one, they do return to re-spray. If they could solve the scorpion issue so I never see another one, they would get five stars. Service is excellent

While the service is good when they show up, the company's punctuality within the confines of the contract are not.  Our service is usual completed 3-4 weeks outside our quarterly schedule.  I am a strict budget person and this throws our monthly finances off.  Furthermore, they never call before they come, so we get a quick run through and a flyer left at our front door saying they were there.  Have yet to have them there when we were home, so they could do pest control on the interior of the house. When you don't follow the law and inundate a neighborhood with your employees (even worse when your customer service rep states they will stay out of your neighborhood- soliciting is against the law_) and they show up and laugh because they know the cops won't enforce it...shame on you.  I hope your company gets no new customers.  Worse yet, half of your employees didn't have the legally required identification badge and your employees thought that was funny.  I don't care how proficient you are, you have chosen to break laws and think that's ok.

These guys are awesome. I looked for a bug exterminator after i found a huge cockroach in my sons bedroom.  My family just moved here from Oregon so to see a cockroach was not something i was the excited or familiar seeing too often. I called and the gentleman i spoke with gave me a great deal, even though i had no coupons he gave me a huge discount, and they came out the next day. He was so friendly, and we even had a short conversation about the area since we plan on buying in a 6months. He informed me i could transfer my service as well.  Then the guy that came out which was next day, was so friendly, he knew my neighbors, and was telling me that we live in a good area, and the schools were good, and even told me a pediatrician that i could take my kids to.  So nice, and so personalble, and so welcoming! I'd give this place 10 stars if i could, but i guess 5 will have to do. Highly reccomend! worth every penny, and the are very reasonable!
