I've had these guys out to my place 3 times since New Year's as the plumbing demon is at our house for some reason lol. They always stay to finish the job even when it turns into an unexpected nightmare, are easy-going and very knowledgeable. They have a snake with a camera on it which I thought was so cool plus they are reasonably priced. I also never have to wait long to get an appointment. So I am def going to keep them as my goto-plumber.
I found JC plumbing the service on accident when searching for the plumbing supply store on Thousand Oaks blvd with a similar business name. Luckily I kept their Yelp profile on hand when I needed help replacing a hose bib that had seized around the anti siphon valve.
I liked the easy communication by text during scheduling, they also got the job done with care not to do damage to the wall.
I found them to be very patient and helpful, would definitely recommend for replacement work.
Our toilet had been acting up for some time. Unfortunately, I realized this was going to be a replacement issue. So I called JC to come out and quote both replacement and repair. We all agreed a replacement is the best move. JC did not charge me for the first visit, I purchased a toilet and had it delivered. They came out, did the replacement, and charged a very reasonable price.
I will definitely call them for any further plumbing needs. These guys are responsive and great to work with.
When I put out a request for a quote to numerous plumbers through Yelp, JC Plumbing was the only one to come back with an actual quote, and a reasonable one. There was some confusion with the appointment time, but they came out later in the evening to make sure they got the job done. It ended up being a more difficult job, so the price ended up being a little more, but still completely reasonable. They were quick and professional and did a great job.

Found JC Plumbing on Yelp - so glad they were available to help and were located nearby!
My daughter's house in Simi Valley somehow developed some type of shower-related water leak. We needed someone good to get here quickly and find the source of the leak. We called JC Plumbing based on their great Yelp reviews - Julio called back immediately and said they could be out within the hour. They kept their promise: Julio & Cesar arrived on time and explained their method and cost. We agreed, they proceeded (removing some Sheetrock, filling the shower pan with water, watching for source) and they determined that the shower pan construction (hot mop) had failed.
Although JC doesn't reconstruct hot mop shower pans, they gave us exactly what we needed today: great service, quick response, methodical work and the definitive source of the problem. We now know what to do for our next step.
By the way, another plumbing company that we contacted (before calling JC) said that their first move would be breaking up the concrete slab to discover the leak. Thank goodness we hesitated on that other company and called JC Plumbing - we saved ourselves a world of hurt!
Julio and his brother came and resolved my plumbing problem this afternoon (Saturday). Oh, did I mention that the clogged sink started just this morning? These professionals displayed top-notch expertise with a friendly smile and on-point punctuality (same-day service!!). I will def use JC Plumbing in a heartbeat again!
With all the different plumbers out there I chose JC after reading the reviews. There was one review that stuck out to me of them not showing up and I figured it was just an error on their part. I made my appointment days in advance and today they were a no show. They didn't even have the decency to call. I guess they don't need the work. A complete waste of my day waiting around for them. It's just common courtesy. I wish I had called someone else. I wouldn't give them the time of day now.
Arrived earlier than time frame given, after calling to confirm it would be ok. Very courteous, professional and friendly. The job they did was not the one they came to do, however they we're able to take care it promptly, professionally and left no mess to clean up! Great job!

Do yourself a favor and call JC plumbing. I requested a quote today after the another plumbing company cancelled our appointment two days in a row. Cesar came by just a few hours after I requested the quote. He's here right now fixing the issues and I wish we called him first instead of dealing with the headache with the other company. replaced. Julio installed my new kitchen faucet & re-directed pipes for my new sink. He also replaced 2 under sink valves that were leaking & reinstalled my garbage disposal.

They came out to check out my leaky toilet which I thought had a broken wax seal, he came out and said that it might have been a single incident but that otherwise toilet was in good working order but gave me the option of changing the wax seal just in case. I appreciated the honestly and ended up just swapping it out for peace of mind. Very professional , i think he may have even tightened up my toilet paper holder that was dangling and I had been meaning to fix haha. He also threw in a free inspection of the toilet drain since they were gonna be removing the toilet. Thanks guys !

We had issues with the toilet downstairs Julio came out to take a look-- ended up needing the toilet replaced and hose/valve replaced him and his team came got the job done and were very professional and honest.. I recommend them for plumbing work. I will definitely contact them for future work if needed.
Had a leak in our ceiling, they were able to make it out the very next morning and knocked it out in less than 2 hours. They did an amazing job and super friendly
As someone in the trade mostly public works I would expect some degree of courtesy and respect for the knowledge I have obtained through the years of my construction project management experience. Always have two or three people bidding on the job at the same time.
Having invited five professional plumbers to my house in order to do a take off and submit a proposal to me for the entire plumbing of my garage conversion.
I tried to speak to someone and get them to sharped their numbers but the attitude was not acceptable for respectable businessmen.
Not only was their communication poor, I found their price to be almost outrageous.
You have competitive pricing and luckily we have received more complete bids with less than half the cost. I chose to go with a with licensed C-36 that's been in the business for 30+ years & 15 year guarantee.
Word of the wise, invite several trades to your project at the same time. Get these guys to bid more competitively and hold them accountable for price gouging. I'm giving two stars only because I actually received a bid. Not complete or detailed mind you. I hope this review sheds some light on your decisions.
JC Plumbing and Julio is the best! I had a situation with a water heater leaking in our garage for a month and a half because of American Home Shield. AHS's people wanted to charge us $10000-$15000 on the side for repairing the water heater. It was a total joke and is is AHS. But I decided to take the payout from AHS and have someone replace the water heater myself. Of course I would be getting less than what it would actually cost to rapid and there was a bunch of additional damage to the drywall and studs. I called different contractors in the area describing the scenario and asking how much it would cost roughly and when the could do the job. I had a day off that day and was really hoping in the back of my mind that it would be really great if I could somehow find someone that could do it TODAY and just get it done. I was like, please God it would be amazing if we could get this done. I called Julio and told him the same thing I had told and asked all the other guys. He responded by saying, I can do it right now if you want. I was kind of in shock, like is this for real?!? It's no coincidence that it was called JC Plumbing, because Jesus Christ this is amazing! Julio was at our house in a short time and knocked-out the water heater install in just a few hours. He even told us we didn't need to worry about the studs below. He pulled away the drywall to show us it would be OK if we let it dry and replace the drywall later. Don't get ripped off by the American Home Shield vendors or by some of these other plumbers. I'm pretty meticulous and do most of my home repairs myself. I can say Julio did a beautiful job installing the water heater and cleaned everything up after it was all done. I highly recommend JC plumbing to anyone in the area.
Julio came in to do the quote. He was great. He explained what he felt needed to be done and why and what could be waited on. He made me feel comfortable. They did a great job. I feel the price was extremely reasonable. I would highly recommend.
Unfortunately my cartridge for my shower was nowhere to be located due to it being discontinued, however Julio was awesome with recommendations and even drove around trying to locate the part. No charge was pushed on me for the inspection and effort on their part which probably any competitor would have done just for showing up.
Regardless JC Plumbing is in my contacts from here on out and will use them in the future!

Julio came out to save us on a Saturday afternoon when nobody else could send us help. It was a minor leak and he handled it quickly and got us able to use the sinks again before dinner.
On a different day, he came out to replace the old water valve from the street to our home, which was leaking after 35 years of use. He replaced the leaking valve and helped us by putting in a pressure regulator to handle the overpressure which caused the leak to start.
We're thankful for Julio and his team and intend to use them again when we need a plumber!
Julio replaced our kitchen faucet and installed a new water purifier and a faucet for the pure water. He did a great job. I'm very happy that I found JC plumbing on Yelp.
Ceaser came out within hours of me calling JC Plumbing. He was on time, professional and let me know what he was doing and what was the issue every step of the way. My plumbing situation is a bit complicated and I needed a Rooter company to fix the issue however, Ceaser was open and honest in telling me what I needed which I greatly appreciated. Would definitely recommend!!!
I needed my main shut off valve replaced and a leaky valve repaired. Based off Julio's great reviews here, I reached out to him. He came out and gave me a quote to fix the system to make it right (not a quick fix) with a quote which others in the industry told me was a great price. The best part was his responsiveness which got rid of the issue right away and put my mind at ease!
Professional. On time. Came with all materials and finished quickly. Made sure my hot water heater was relit before leaving (they were working on something else). But the big thing is that they gave me an estimate over Yelp (I sent a photo). It was a very simple valve install job, and instead of everyone else wanting to charge to come give an estimate, he just gave me one and followed through on the price.
I had a great experience with JC plumbing. They had come highly recommended by my handyman, responded quickly to my request to come out and take a look at a drain on top of a flat part of my roof that wasn't draining properly. Cesar quickly diagnosed the problem -- a clogged filter at the bottom where the pipe drained on the side of the house. Since it was a simple fix (at least simple for him!), he didn't even charge me and told me how to fix it if it happens in the future.
Such a pleasure to be helped by honest, straight forward professionals like Cesar and his brother Julio. I will definitely be using them in the future as plumbing needs arise because I know they'll be honest, transparent, help me understand the issue and resolve it.

Our 7-year old kitchen faucet developed a leaking valve, and we decided to replace it with a new model rather than repair. JC Plumbing quickly responded to me with a quote for the installation only, as I purchased the new faucet the next day. I have tried many plumbers in the area and they were all happy to charge me for a job that would inevitably result in more work in the future. After living with the problem for another few years, I worked up the courage to try again and thank JC that I found JC plumbing! Cesar and the other gentleman who came were so helpful, clean, professional, and most importantly honest. They told me exactly what it would take to fix the problem once and for all and we couldn't be happier with the work! Julio and Tony came to repair a leaking main water shut-off valve required in order to install a dishwasher. They came within the hour and assessed the needed parts, fixing the leak by replacing the valve. Work was quick and efficient, along with courteous and polite service. I had another plumber come in twice, because there was a leak through the wooden floor from the toilet. It leaked for about a year, and couldn't figure out why it was still leaking. I ended up calling JC Plumbing. He was able to come in soon enough, and after checking under for various potential damage, he knew right away that I had to get a new toilet installed. He also recommended that I should replace parts of the wooden floor due to future possible molds and warping. He even offered to pick up the new toilet from Home Depot and bring it in himself. So, all in all, he was very helpful in solving this issue. The price was very reasonable too! Im a very satisfied customer!

I'm writing this review to show my deep appreciation for JC Plumbing. I used the Yelp business locator app to find a company that could help me replace my washer's drain pipe, since the one I had was incompatible with my high efficiency washer. Out of all the companies that responded to my request, Julio (JC Plumbing Owner) was the fastest to respond and was the most reasonably priced. I also liked that he offered to send someone in-person to see what I needed to get done, so that I could get a more accurate quote; he did not charge me to come out, like some other plumbing companies do. I also liked that when Cesar and Peter arrived on behalf of JC Plumbing, they never tried to pressure or upsell me.
Once I agreed to their service, they went and purchased the parts they would need to use for the job, replaced my old washer drain pipe, and left the area nice and clean. They then walked me through the work they did one final time and reassured me that if there was any issue with their work, they would gladly return to fix it at no cost to me. Cesar even handed me the receipt of the materials they had to purchase for the job, which really impressed me; it showed me that these guys are the real deal. From beginning to end, these gentlemen were honest, efficient, respectful, professional, and most importantly mindful of the health and safety of me and my family by wearing masks and using gloves the whole time they were at my property. I HIGHLY recommend JC Plumbing for your plumbing needs. I will surely be giving them my business the next time I have a job or project come up.

Very happy with the service we received from this company. Initial phone call was pleasant and Cesar was very transparent with the types of cost we were looking at before he came over. After hearing the description he was able to give me a range of what we were looking at as far as cost.
Another positive...we called at the end of day on a Friday and they were able to schedule us in for Saturday morning with a time range of 9-10am. They arrived as scheduled and worked fast to unclog our drains. After looking at the problem they were able to quickly identify the actual coast of what the service would be.
Upon finishing the service they explained why the clog occurred and were able to identify a service that would help us alleviate future problems. They were honest, with all costs and guaranteed our work performed for 30 days. We will definitely be using them in the future.
I had a toilet leak inside my wall. I called JC Plumbing. They came out and explained the scope of possibilities of why the leak was occurring.
They were able to repair the problem (needed new wax ring on toilet) and their prepare fees were very good. I highly recommend JC Plumbing. They are honest and you can trust their work! I will be calling them from now on for all of my plumbing needs.

I called JC plumbing at 5pm after discovering I must have a water leak in my wall. They had someone here in an hour and he was able to fix leak to stop further damage. I will definitely call them again.

Once again JC to the rescue. I put potato peels down the drain on Xmas. I know not smart. I messaged JC on Monday about 1 PM and he was at the house about 5 PM. He had the drain cleared about 45 minutes later. He did a great job and was super friendly. His prices are beyond reasonable. I highly recommend JC Plumbing!
My tub/shower drain was not working. Cesar came and quickly diagnosed the problem. The repair was significant and required accessing the pipes below the house. Cesar and his brother worked so hard. They were very tidy as the repair took 2 days and always respectful of my property. Cesar also worked hard to keep costs as low as possible. A really great experience for a difficult task and repair.
Called 2X & was able 2 get Julio & another guy 2 come out 4 a leaky toilet. Julio was very cordial, straightforward & thoroughly checked out our toilet. Dx'd three issues & suggested us 2 replace the toilet. Julio gave us a quote for installation of a new toilet, but we'll have 2 provide a new toilet @ our own cost. All in all, it was a very nice First Time interaction & we will contact them after the holidays 4 installation.
We had sub flooring hot water leak underneath our kitchen floor Julio showed up as promised. Gave a very reasonable quote and started on time and finished on time. Would definitely recommend this company. Clean up could have been a little more through. But the fact he was good and worked long hours to get us back to normal made a little dust was worth it.
Julio showed up on time and went right to work to fix my clogged kitchen sink. Unfortunately, after snaking it a couple of times it remained clogged and he said it needed to be hydro-flushed but his hydro-flush machine was broken and wouldn't be fixed for a few days. After spending about an hour Julio said that since he didn't fix it he wouldn't charge me anything. Before leaving he pointed out a couple of pipes under my sink that needed replacing and suggested that I have a clean out port added to make future repairs easier. He also recommended a couple of other plumbing services I could call to have the work done because I couldn't wait while his machine was being fixed. Julio is honest and fair and I highly recommend him for all your plumbing needs.

Julio is my new go-to for any plumbing repairs or projects. He just replaced a garbage disposal in a rental for me. I love that he does the work himself. I called him and explained the issue. Julio is very friendly and told me the cost for him to come out and what it would cost to replace the garbage disposal. He came out the next day and showed up on time and got the job completed at the price he told me. After the work was done my tenant text me to tell me what a nice guy Julio is.
We needed a very old gas valve updated for our new stove. Messaged JC pluming and got a very fast response with a price. They were on time, very friendly and the job was completed without any issues. Highly recommend
My brand new touch sensor kitchen faucet suddenly stopped working after a month. My regular plumber couldn't come for a week so I called JC Plumbing. They were able to come within 2 hours, they called on the way to confirm arrival which I really appreciate. It ended up being defective batteries. Honest plumber, assessed my rotted out water damaged bathroom faucet and told me I needed to order a new one and that he would not charge me for this visit but only charge me when I had him come back to replace. Great customer service and followed up and did a great job installing new Brizo faucet. Charges were reasonable and not over inflated.

I had a drain problem and called JC plumbing. This honest and helpful man told my husband how to fix it using FaceTime so that he could see the problem. With his help, my husband did the repair quickly and JC plumbing did not charge us anything. This is helpfulness and integrity that we rarely experience. Thank you JC plumbing.

I called them for broken garbage disposer and fixing my air gap. They showed up on time and were able to fix the problem pretty quickly without any major repair. The best part was the service was free of charge as they were able to fix my disposer without a major repair. They were true professionals and would hire them again in a heart beat.

Julio was extremely helpful with my plumbing problems. He made sure to wear a mask and answer any questions I had. I needed some repairs to my Condo bathrooms and kitchen faucet. I am very impressed with this company's work.
They were wonderful!! Our main drain backed up on Thanksgiving. They were able to come out in about an hour. They were friendly and very quick. I will definitely call them again!!
JC Plumbing (not to be confused with JC Plumbing 'N' Things in Thousand Oaks) is a very good plumbing resource that I will keep at the top of my list of plumbers to call in an emergency. Julio was easy to reach on the phone during my plumbing crisis, responded with a very quick service call, wore masks on the job, had competitive rates, and did a great job overall. JC Plumbing is great; would highly recommend them. Our toilet's water supply valve broke; they came quickly and fixed it at an affordable price.
The only plumber around interested in getting here at 6:30 on a Friday night. We were busy all weekend and had a completely clogged kitchen sink. He was a lifesaver! Not to mention fast, knowledgeable and nice! Amen for JC Plumbing.
The water in my tub would not shut off due to a faulty cartridge; this forced me to shut off the water for the entire house. I called JCP and was able to get hold of Julio very easily. He came out the same day and fixed the problem (he had the required part in his truck). The price was competitive and the work was perfect.
We've used JC a few times now and they have been very responsive and performed excellent work. They installed a new toilet and fixed a garbage disposal. I highly recommend them to anyone with plumbing needs.

We had a main sprinkler pipe leak and the leak detection company referred me to JC Plumbing. I called them for an estimate, and they came the next day on time as promised. So, I asked them to fix the leak. The plumber was Cesar, and he was very friendly. He and his team were very professional, and they knew their stuff and cleaned up after the work was finished. Everything went very smoothly.
After a week or so later, I got a small leak in the pipe they fixed in the different location. So, I called them, and Cesar came right away to fix the leak covered by the warranty. While we were turning the water on after the leak was fixed, one of the faucets overflowed by accident and created a pool of water on the tile floor. It was so sudden I did not know what to do. Then, the Cesar came in the house and saw the situation and right away he brought his wet-vac from his truck and sucked up all the water and made it almost dry. He did not have to, but he offered to help and did not even charged me for his service. So, I highly recommend them, and they will be my go-to plumber from now on. Thank you!

These guys are honest and fair. Needed two grab bars installed in the bathroom for my father and Julio charged us a very fair rate. He even came out in advance at no additional charge just to make sure the quote given was accurate based on the layout and what needed to be done. The initial quote was 150-250 and after coming he said it would be 175 (that's a sign of someone honest, because he could have easily just said 250 just to get that extra money). I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to get grab bars installed. They didn't even crack the tile in the shower when they drilled into it. They take pride in their work!

I called JC plumbing with an urgent need this morning (failed pressure regulator). Not an emergency, but I explained that we were leaving on vacation and I wanted to make sure the house water pressure was not too high while we were gone (it was over 100 psi.) Julio said he could take care of it that same day and he followed through!
I sent Julio pics of the old regulator so he could show up with the right one for my house, and it worked out great!
He was slightly delayed due to a previous job, but communicated very well on his arrival time and took care of the job as promised.

I manage several properties in Ventura county, and have hired many different plumbing companies for various jobs, and JC are the best. They have done everything from slab leaks to installing dishwashers. Every time I call them they start their day early, or work late to get the job done. Took 3 hours to clean a difficult drain from the street to the back patio. Did not give up - it was full of roots. Next step would have been very costly had they not succeeded. Will use next time..
Excellent. They showed up when they said they would. They knew exactly what needed to be done and their estimate was fair. They showed me what they were doing and explained why and even offered me the bad pieces they replaced. They made sure everything was done to code and didn't leave until they had cleaned up. Awesome!!!!! Would definitely call them again. Caesar went above and beyond to help me out with a main line clogged with roots. My new go-to plumbers!!! I've had quite a few bad plumbers in my past, but everything was great with these guys. From the initial phone call, to the actual appointment- which was on the same day, so I'm even more grateful. Caesar and his partner worked in the dark for a few hours to get the job done. And they couldn't have been friendlier. He even invited me to look over his shoulder as he worked so he could explain things to me. Very impressed!
We just had a new kitchen faucet installed by Julio and Tony and was very satisfied with their quality of work! It wasn't an easy install as plumbing replaced was old and corroded, however, they handled the job very professionally and in reasonable time. Kudos to both!

We had an outdoor drain pipe that was leaking. Julio came out, diagnosed the problem, told me what would be required to fix the issue. They had to hydro-jet the pipe because roots had grown into the pipe. They cleared the line. Reconnected the line and tested everything out. This was my first experience with them and I know for sure I will use them again. They were honest, fairly priced, and easy to work with.

They were sent out from my home warranty claim which happened to get denied because it was a broken water main. They gave me a fair price showed up on time and completed the job in one day as promised. Replaced the grass they dug out and cleaned up. Very professional. I would hire them in the future.
These guys are awesome!!!!! I called and Julio answered and said he would be by. He was on time, very professional, wore a mask and gloves, and just a real nice guy. I told him I had pulled everything apart in my sink and thought it needed to be snaked. He opened up the pop up and pulled out the clog. This is the one place I didn't check. Julio stayed to ensure there were no leaks or any water buildup. It was a simple fix and I wasn't charged. Julio was awesome and did not take advantage. I appreciate his integrity and will use him again and refer him to others. Great guy and wonderful company.
JC Plumbing was recommended by some neighbors as my kitchen sink had a leak. I called JC Plumbing on a Thursday afternoon and by Friday they were doing the repair. After they finished my husband asked if they could check our drainage from our washer as it had been backing up. Julio, the owner, put a camera down by the street and found the line rotting out under the house. He gave us a fair estimate, including the work already having been done, and started work Monday. Julio works with 4 of his brothers so they worked quickly and efficiently. They dug a trench around the house so we could have a new line without having to go through the floor of the house. They drilled through the patio concrete and then replaced it after the new pipes were in place. They were always neat and tidy throughout the job. They also guarentee their work for 10 years. These guys are great! Showing up early and working well past 6pm. Don't hesitate to call JC Plumbing for all your plumbing needs! They're in my contacts list as my go to plumber for any future problems.

Had a clogged kitchen sink/garbage disposal. Julio was the first to respond to my requests for estimates, and said he was able to send someone out immediately. Within 30 minutes Cesar and an assistant came and cleared the clog in about 10 minutes. They then put a camera through the pipes and showed us where the grease problem had been. They recommended a thorough hydro cleaning of the pipes to avoid future problems, but didn't pressure us into this service . They were both very courteous and professional. The price quoted, $39, was what they charged, and was the lowest of 3 companies. This was a Tuesday evening about 7pm and they didn't charge extra for a night call. They also wore masks in light of the covid 19 outbreak. Would definitely use them again!

I found JC Plumbing on Yelp and I'm glad I did! Cesar saved the day! I had a bunch of glitches with a freestanding bath tub that I'd ordered as well as the tub filler but he saved me from having to jackhammer up the brand new floor and devised a clever solution to get the tub filler to work in a tricky location. He kept me posted on when he could come over - even on days when he was super busy - and didn't leave until he got the job right! Very highly recommend!
