David came out this afternoon to troubleshoot a tripping circuit breaker in our 1930s era house.  Friendly and professional.  He gave us several options and we definitely will call him when we are ready to proceed.

Bill was personable, knowledgeable, and dispensed valuable advice regarding various issues around the house. Upon arrival he immediately dived in to diagnose the problem with our ceiling fan and was of great help! Very pleased with his expertise.

I am an out of state landlord so it's always nerve wracking to try to hire someone for my house in San Diego.  I had two handymen flake on me before I found Pelayo.  The 5 stars on his yelp account definitely helped me feel comfortable. Sergio was on it. He responded right away to my yelp contact request. He was persistent and attempted contact three times with my tenant before reaching her and then was able to go out the very next day.  The repair was completed within the timeline that he quoted even though it ended up being more extensive than he originally thought from the description.  I will definitely contact him for future repairs on the property.

Chris did an excellent job for us.  He made repairs and minor modifications in our house and installed beautiful in ground landscape lighting in our yard.  We will soon be moving to a new home and plan to contact him again for all of our electrical needs.  He is on time, very professional, works very neatly and carefully, and really wants to please his customers.

In a two day span Matthew installed 3 new ceiling fans, demo a light box in our bathroom, installed a new bathroom fan, installed 6 can lights, and ran wires so my new electrical could operate from wall switches. I was impressed with his work ethic and professionalism. He did fine work and look forward to using him again.

I can't thank Matt enough! We had a sump pump go out on our patio right before a big rain storm. He came over right away to get things back up and running and then even came out short notice on a weekend to fix some wiring that a plumber had done. Lastly, he offered such a reasonable rate that I insisted on giving a little extra to try to say thank you for saving our day...twice!

I was lucky enough to choose JP Electrics for the install of a 14-30 NEMA plug.  He gave me great insight into the job and shared great ideas.  It was a pleasure to work with him!  I already referred him to my in-laws for another job!  Thank you!

Referred by a neighbor who had his EV charging station installed. I called and left Dave a message, was called back within 15 minutes. Dave had me send him some pictures of the electrical panel and location I wanted charging station installed to start a quote. After reviewing he felt it was best to come out to verify the scope of the job. Contacted him on a Wednesday and he came out the next morning.

We reviewed what I was trying to do and he made recommendations. In the end he recommended  installing dedicated 240 plug, which was the least expensive option.

Installed on Monday. EV is now on a level 2 charge wife is super happy going from 12 hours to 3 hours for a full charge.

Communications is great and timely showing up for appointments.
Would not hesitate to use Dave again.

Dave helped install a ceiling fan in my house with vaulted ceilings and a Lutron dimmer switch for the fan. His professionalism was evident in how he handled the work with ease, and he was extremely knowledgeable as well. He worked very quickly, accommodated times when I was available and took care to finish the work with detail.

His rates are very affordable for the service he provides, and I highly recommend him for any electric job, and I will definitely get his help with any future work at home!

Chris had great prices, and great availability. Brought him in to add recessed lighting in the kitchen and move some wires and switches around in the midst of a remodel. He was communicative and friendly!

He ended up puncturing a water line while cutting into my concrete/plaster ceilings. Obviously not a great phone call to get, but he was proactive about getting the water shut off and paying me back for the cost of a plumber to come in and fix the pipe he broke. As frustrated as I was that I had to have extra work done to fix the mistake, Chris took responsibility for it and for that I'm grateful. A trustworthy hardworking guy.

The work that he did get done before the pipe broke is gorgeous. I wish he had been able to get the rest of the work done, but will have to wait for things to dry up first and get the plumbing fixed.

Wins:  The electrician responded to my initial quote request very quickly. He gave me a reasonable price and included an additional quote for some other work that I wanted to do.

Opportunities:  Unfortunately, when we scheduled an appointment, he tried to reschedule at the last minute (just a few hours before the appointment) under the guise of needing more time for the additional work. I informed him that the original appointment would be the only time that I could do it and requested to just do the original work, and leave the other item until a future appointment.  The story then changed to, oh well, I can't do ANY of the work at the original appointment time.  I was forced to reshuffle my entire day and make other arrangements.  

Recommendations for improvement:  If are required to make a last-minute cancellation, please do your best to notify your clients as early as possible. When that occurs, please use full disclosure when discussing the issue.

I purchased a new electric vehicle and needed a charger plug installed in my garage.  I reached out to several electricians to get an estimate.  Some never called back, refused to give a ballpark estimate without charging a fee to come do an evaluation, etc.  Anthony responded promptly to my request and immediate gave me a quote for the entire job including all supplies.  He was very reasonably priced, communicated well, showed up when scheduled and the work was completed in a professional manner.  He was very pleasant and professional.  He even waited while I tested out the charger on the car.  Everything was great.  I would definitely recommend him and refer him to anyone needing electrical work.  Thank you.

Glad we waited!

I found Pablo after researching on Yelp - I originally called in late December and he was courteous and up front with me that it would take 2 1/2 weeks to come out, he was scheduled 17 days out.  My issue wasn't dire critical, so I waited and was glad I did.

He confirmed his appointment time via text with me and re-confirmed the day before.  We scheduled it for 3pm and he also messaged me to let me know when he was leaving Plano (even though he showed up at 3:05 for a 3pm appointment).  He cleaned out one of my main drainpipes then removed an old filtration system without asking for anything more.  He was professional, courteous, and fair.  He had a nice invoicing system via his smartphone and even made it a point to show me his standard price list when we were doing the invoice.

This was my first time using Pablo, I got the impression from my conversation with him that he keeps some time on his schedule available and can see existing clients faster.

Legacy Plumbing came out and did an excellent job in installing our faucets and addressing some water pressure issues. Kelly McGinn took the time to not only fix our problems ... he showed us some tips to take care of them on our own in the future.
