I noticed water coming down my walls and a water bubble forming in my ceiling above my bed in the master bedroom. My AC unit is in the Attic above my bed so I turned off my AC and the leak stopped. SO I looked on Yelp to find the best HVAC company and had them come out. Dean came over, wore those shoe protectors to protect my flooring and went to work. Long story short I could tell that he loves what he does and takes pride in providing 5 star service. His company makes sure he has all the necessary certifications and schooling and tools necessary to do his job. He wowed us and we signed up to be a member for on going HVAC tune ups.

I called on a Saturday, and the owner gave me a bunch of free expert insight, which ultimately resulted in me opting out of purchasing any service. The experience was extremely reassuring for my opinion of the integrity of the business.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this company. We called them to come work on 3 repairs. The first 2 were very simple yet we were charged $168. The major repair was to unclog our shower drain that was not draining. The plumber was unable to drain it because the handyman who redid our bathrooms 4 years ago washed grout down the drain which overtime formed into cement. Therefore it needed to be addressed from the outside by digging under the house to replace the p trap. This company quoted us an outrageous amount of $7800!!! We had 3 other companies give us estimates which came out to $3800, $4600 and finally $2650. Obviously we hired the cheapest one and the job was done perfectly! Clearly pure plumbing is money hungry, so beware!

I called out Schrader to unclog a toilet, $20,000 later I get rude customer service when calling in to pay.   We appreciated the first find for 4,000 which required replacing a sewer line interface. Then the second $4000 find to put in a clean out valve. Then after all that, they find rocks in my pipe and I have to replace the whole sewer line for $15,000.  They could have run the camera the first day as requested, found the rocks, then replaced the sewer all together for half the price.  Thats all fine, but the price for the sewer was nearly double other quotes we got calling around.  We decided to be loyal, give them the business. However, they were late to work EVERY day. Sending us text messages every day saying they will be here between 8-9am, then showing up at 10 or 11, then take a 2-3 hour lunch break and leave at 3.   So they wrapped up the work, it was really solid plumbing and hole digging...hence the two stars.   What really pissed me off was the incessant calling between 8-5 when I have non-stop meetings. Work was done on Thursday and by Monday we are in collections.  I called Monday morning to pay and suggested they should text us like they do for the late plumbers every morning to remind us to pay or provide an online payment system.  The lady on the phone was SUPER rude and dismissive of the ask. Needless to say, stay away unless you like to pay extra for plumbing and deal with toxic customer service.

Horrible communication. They never call back. They never sent us the technician notes and it's been almost 2 weeks. Use another company

This plumbing company is the best at slab leaks. Jr, Randy and the whole Staggs Plumbing team are professional, ethical, time efficient, and they get the job done at a fair price with no mess. GREAT!!

My sewage drain collapsed on July 3rd. Professor Plumb gave me a call that day and sent me to the top of the list since we had no way to drain our sewage. They did an excellent job, and got us back into our house in two days.

I had an emergency after hours plumbing issue that was affecting my home and the unit next door. I called the big name plumbing companies and no one answered. Jason answered right away and was at my home within the hour. He was professional and courteous and actually made a stressful situation lighter. He was clearly extremely knowledgeable and did great work. I highly recommend this service and will definitely be using them again.

Excellent service in a timely manner for a fair price. Clearing the plugged drain down the roof vent in less than 30. Landon Called ahead with 20 minutes notice and was early, smart, polite and very helpful.

These guys came out right away the day I called them and diagnosed my leak and since it was late evening, they turned off the water to that area and returned the next morning. They found exactly where it was and fixed it, cleaned up the area and since I had to leave before he was finished, texted me a picture of the completed work. They texted me when they were on the way both days and were very polite and respectful and were willing to work with me on the cost. I would definitely recommend them!

Absolute replaced our water heater.  JJ and team were fantastic and a pleasure to have in our home.  The front-end support with Debora was also great - as usual.  Clearly they are and continue to be the gold standard for service and quality of workmanship.

Blacktie did backfall work in our foundation to fixed a plumbing issue. They dug over 40 feet of tunnel to do this work in 2109.
The work was undertaken by gehan homes, our builder who paid blacktie. It was an expense of several thousand $$$$( I was not shared the details but I know based on a quote provided by Berkeys).
I never thought that I would have the sewage backup problem however
in 2022, less than 2 years later, the exact same problem of sewage backing in bathroom  started in the exact same spot Blacktie fixed. Now they want to charge us monies to fix it again - Didnt we have warranty ? I never thought that the problem would occur again and gehan homes was handling the repair, an expense of over  $10k so we didn't think much of it. We were just glad to ge tried if the disgusting sewage backup. Blacktie's work was  backed up by ONLY a year's warranty  while other companies give a 5 year warranty for the same job!
Clearly seems like Blacktie did not have faith in its own work by shortchanging us on the warranty terms.

I would be very careful giving  an expensive repair job to Blackie since they dont stand behind their own work.  What a disappointing experience  with Blacktie in DFW area!

We were scheduled on Monday afternoon from 12 to 2pm.  I called him around this period, no one answered.  Then I messaged him via Yelp, no response as well.   Late afternoon, I got his message On my way! Will catch you tomorrow .    Not reliable , no response, waste time .

Jason was amazing and answered any question I had. Very informative about so much. Showed up before time mentioned and completed the job very quickly.

I would like to thank  Direct Source Plumbing for coming to my rescue.  They did an outstanding job. I had called a different plumbing first to diagnose my problem. The first plumbing company said that I had a slab leak. This company told me that I had to options to fix the problem.  One was to re-pipe  the plumbing through the attic, which was less expensive or they could tear up my slab, which was more expensive. They were also going to have rip out my walls to get to the pipes. It was then going to be up to me and my insurance company to repair the damage they created. I had a very uneasy feeling about their assessment of the situation. I called Direct Source Plumbing for a second opinion before any work was done by the first plumbing company. The Direct Source plumbers  took the time to listen to my concerns and then proceeded to do a follow up inspection. The Direct Source plumbers found the source of my leak within minutes. They said it was NOT a slab leak at all. They discovered that I had a leak in one of my pipes in my sprinkler system. All the other work that the first plumbing company was going to do  and CHARGE me for was unnecessary and also fraudulent.  Thank you again Direct Source Plumbing for coming to my rescue.

I'd like to add my accolades to these folks. Had to have the two hot water heaters replaced in my attic after one failed after nine years of service.  Guess that's about their lifespan in Texas. Got several quotes and believe me when I say these guys came in thousands less than the big name guys around town. They installed the same equipment in a timely  and professional manner. I learned that these are the only folks I'll call for my future plumbing needs!!  My highest recommendation!

My garbage disposal was leaking and I needed a plumber. Michael Hairston had great reviews. I was not disappointed. He called me back pretty quickly. Because he wasn't sure if something was loose or if the disposal needed replacement until he looked at it, he recommended I purchase one at Home Depot or Lowes. If replacement was not needed I can always return it. My disposal stopped working before the appointment date. He came, checked it and replaced the disposal very quickly. I would definitely call him for other plumbing needs.
