We started our home renovations in April of 2021 with the hopes of being done by the end of the year. Unfortunately, while we loved the work that was done - it was left unfinished.

After tirelessly looking for someone that's dependable, knowledgeable and reasonably priced, we found Yuri. We brought him in to renovate our bar (that was left unfinished), and not only did he deliver exactly what I wanted - he surpassed my expectations, and he did it incredibly quick.

My girlfriend (who's skeptical of most handymen) was blown away with what he was able to accomplish in just a few hours. Right after he left, she told me that's our guy.

We had him back yesterday (5/23/22) to continue the work in our kitchen that was left unfinished by the previous person. He showed up on time, got to work, and got more done than I anticipated (this is a multiple-day job). Once again, my girlfriend was thrilled at the work he had done. Not only did he do the work we asked, but he fixed an electrical plate issue we had next to our front door. It's things like that, that really go along way with me/us.

I cannot recommend his services enough. I've given his number to several people ranging from the smallest jobs, to the big ones. Not only will we have him back, but now we're looking for projects around the house to add because we know the quality of his work.

In all the times I've dealt with handymen, builders, contractors, etc...he's the best. We are extremely happy that we found him. Any future projects we have - this is our guy.

Vic came out and fixed several problems with a house I recently inherited. He was professional and knowledgeable. And he was personable to boot! He takes pride in his work and his community. It was a pleasure to do business with him and he did a great job! I'd recommend him to anyone and use his services again in a heartbeat.

A Plus did a great job for me.  Bryan came out the same day I called for a quote. We set a date for the installation. They installed ceiling fans and wiring in 3 bedrooms and ceiling lights in the kitchen.  They even had their own drywall go come out and patch.  They were on time, professional and cleaned up when done.  I recommend them to anyone who needs electrical done at reasonable rates.

I found Steve's contact info through the Tesla charging installation page, sent him an email, and heard back very quickly with next steps. He was professional and easy to communicate with.

Anthony came out to assess the situation and give the estimate (30 minutes). He was communicative, fast, and friendly. The quoted pricing was transparent and in line with everything I had read online while researching. He came back out a few days later and did a fantastic job with a super clean install (2.5 hours).

They take care of coordinating the city inspection and permits, so all you have to do is be there to let the inspector access the panel and charger. The next day when the city inspector came out (10 minutes), he was very pleased and told me that they did great work - it doesn't get much better than that!

Steve called me a few hours later to verify that the inspection had gone well, made sure that I was satisfied with everything, and then emailed the invoice which can be easily paid online with no fuss.

Overall working with Steve and Anthony was a great experience. They'll be my first call for any future needs.

Prompt response and scheduling. Knowledgeable and through. I had him put a backup generator connection on the side of my house.  I am on the high fire shutdown list for Edison and will prob be using it quite a bit. I feel so much safer now. No more extension cords!

A kitchen zone of my electric went out. Granted, my house is old and had substantial wiring issues that needed to be addressed.  Declan came out on short notice, opened up a box that had been jury rigged by someone long ago.  He then acted irritated at my house, saying he didn't want to bid on the project, almost acting like it was not fixable without tearing the house down. This is of course his prerogative to not want to do a job. However I found someone after that too not only fix this problem area, but rewire the whole house for me, and adding a new subpanel at a reasonable price.  Declan was kind enough to not charge me the full two hours, just one, however he fixed nothing and just left me with a hole in the wall.  From my personal experience, if you have a job that is substantial, you may want to call someone else, or see if he will give an estimate before committing any money in case he doesn't feel like taking the job.  I see he has a couple good reviews here, so for simpler jobs perhaps he is a good choice, I wouldn't know.  Summary:
The good:
Came out short notice, was here over an hour but charged for 1 hour, did diagnose the bad neutral correctly.
The bad:
Fixed nothing, left a hole in the wall, was unwilling to propose a solution or bid on the project, made me feel like my house was garbage, and still charged me.

Sean and Steve were so helpful, attentive and friendly when working with them. I would recommend them to anyone looking for honest, reliable and quality service.

We called in to install our dish washer and stove. Ramon came in and did a great job. The price for the service is very reasonable that we had him also install our EV charger. He was very professional and efficient. We'll definitely call him back for other electrical stuff.

I called Dan with a sudden need for electrical help after a flipped fuse wouldn't reset. Of course this happened on a Friday. He called back quickly to let me know he was on his way to a job site that was far away, but he tried to help me over the phone and offered to come first thing Monday morning. Clearly, customer service is important to him, which is huge, especially in a time where contractors are in such high demand that many don't call back or make an effort with basic professionalism. It turned out that or problem resolved itself, but I would call Dan again in a heartbeat.

I've hired Rick now for two jobs in my condo. The first was a few years ago when I needed to replace my smoke detectors. He was very easy to work with and did a great job, so I hired him again this week to replace two ceiling fans. His associate Anthony was able to come by when it was convenient for us and installed both perfectly. He was courteous, friendly and professional. I also feel like the prices Rick has set are much more reasonable than most quotes I've gotten. Will definitely hire them again!

Where do I begin. I first contacted Smilys Electric to ask for a quote install an exterior outlet in the backyard. He gave me a good price and we agreed on a date/time. Ismael showed up right on time and went right to work. After seeing the quality of his work I asked about a few more items. He gave me a reasonable price and he ended up adding three outlets, two exterior lights on either side of the garage and a switch for them. The quality of his work is great and I was pleased with everything. Fast forward a few weeks to Xmas Eve and suddenly the lights in my kitchen were turning on and off and flickering. I called Ismael right away and he FaceTimed me to see if he was able to diagnose the problem. Due to the age of the breakers and symptoms, he determined it was a faulty breaker. He came the next morning (CHRISTMAS MORNING) and was able to replace the circuit breaker, tighten up some loose connections in the panel and literally save Christmas for us. Not sure if anyone else on the planet would do this for a customer, if I could give Ismael and Smilys Electric 10 stars, I would. Thank you Smily's Electric and Ismael for providing outstanding service and exceptional work.

Steve was great. He did a small job for me on a rental house that I own. I found him to be competent and he has reasonable rates. He diagnosed the electrical issues with my house in minutes. I will definitely use this contractor again.

They came in at the most competitive price and were honest.

They were easy to schedule and showed up right on time.  They got the job done in exactly how long they quoted and even proactively included me in verify the plug they installed work properly.  

They also cleaned up after themselves.  

It was a quick and great experience!

I contacted SD Electricity to convert my garage outlets from 110v to 220v so I can charge my electric car. Cosmin was super helpful and got this project completed over the same weekend I got in touch with him. Really great service. Ended up using them for replacing my A/C unit as well as some other smaller projects around the house.

He was friendly and professional, he was able to relocate my light fixture within 48 hours of me calling for a quote. Fair prices and quality work, I would definitely use his services again.

Rob installed an outdoor fixture for me this morning. How nice to find someone who is reliable, knowledgeable & so nice. Even though it was a fairly quick & easy job for him, he was very professional & made me feel most comfortable with my choice of electricians. He will be my go to electrician in the future, for sure.
