Let me say upfront, I recognize that I am the fool for not requesting a quote before requesting service so let this serve as a cautionary tale. I chose to call this company based on the many 5-star Google reviews stating great service and fair prices, close proximity to our address, and prior knowledge of rekeying costs. I submitted an online request from Shon the Locksmiths website and asked for 5 locks to be rekeyed on 3 exterior doors. My son called to confirm the appointment made online as we didn't receive confirmation. He arranged from them to come the following day.  I was shocked when my son called me this morning to tell me that technician said the job would be almost $800 and that our home insurance should cover it. I asked to speak to the locksmith who had already started on one lock. I told him that our insurance would not cover the cost and it was my understanding that rekeying locks plus a service fee should average around $35 a lock. He told me those prices were good 2 years ago. I asked him to finish the one lock he started, and we would figure something else out. My son called after the technician left and told me that he charged $429 for changing 2 locks on the front door which was a $229 service fee and $100 per lock. I decided to call a couple of other locksmiths to see if I could justify this "2022" pricing and obtained two different quotes. Both quoted $15 to rekey each lock and one locksmith charged a service fee of $55 and the other locksmith charged no service fee with multiple locks. That is a total of either $75 or $135 for our job versus the price gouging amount of $729. How do they justify charging such exorbitant prices? I called the owner who told me he needed the technicians name which we didn't have. He stated he had no easy way of knowing who came to my son's home but would try and figure it out and call me back. I found it rather odd that he had no idea who he sends to a particular address. I did text him the technician's cellphone number from my son's caller id. I'm still waiting for a call back to see if there is anything Shon the locksmith can do to rectify this situation.

technician to my home within the hour. The technician arrived promptly and was able to replace the broken lock quickly and efficiently. He was very professional and even gave me some tips on how to maintain the lock. The service was excellent and the price was very fair.

Alon is the best locksmith. Period. If you're as lousy as me at remembering where you left your keys you better have this contact stored in your phone.

I needed to replace a lost vehicle key that had a chip. Local Ace Hardware had to order the key and it would take 5 days to arrive. They wanted $90. Local auto dealer wanted $150 and would need to have the vehicle for a couple hours. I called Dave and he was available in less than 2 hours, came to my location, made the necessary key in less than 10 minutes, and total cost was $75!!
Excellent timely, convenient service for a very reasonable cost. Highly recommended!!!!

Frankey Does It Locksmith came to my rescue when I was in need of a locksmith. All others said they were booked up or had other clients to see. They were able to unlock my car as I had left my keys inside and I was able to get to work on time. I have had hired many landscapers in the 15 years I have been living in the house I live in. Compared to the work that Superior View-Property Physical Operations has done for me I do not think I ever had my yard done before. My yard looks better than when I moved in. My yard never looked this great! No one can beat thier above and beyond service for the fair price they offer. Best Landscaping company out there.

Seemed a smidgen pricey ($85 to get into the car), but the customer service was fantastic.  From the S.O.S. phone call,  to the signing of paperwork,  it was all said and done in less than 30 minutes.  

The owner was super friendly and arrived very quickly.  We were into my car in less than 5 minutes.  The best part was that he inquired as to what type of insurance I had and urged me to look at my policy to see if any roadside coverage was built in to the plan, and told me to file a claim if I did. Unfortunately I didn't have that coverage but I thought it was really stand up of him to tell me about all types of coverage he recommended.

I would definitely use this business again, but hopefully I won't have to;)

I went there based on a recommendation of a friend/client of mine. My car needed a new lock remote programmed. I was not disappointed in Placido. He is very kind, talkative, educated, and professional. He has deep knowledge of locks and related things. He fixed my car's remote in just twenty minutes. I was very pleased with him. I can only say" keep up the good work!!!". The only thing was that he uses Square as a credit card accepting interface, and I think he and his clients would be better of with another solution. That said I would give this good guy 6 (SIX) STARS. SUPER!!! THANK YOU FOR HELPING ME!!!

I had locked my keys in the car. I was quoted $50 over the phone. When the tech arrived it was $185. I just broke the window out and replaced it for $40.

I really should expand on how shady this company is. When the tech arrived he asked right away what my car insurance company was. He states my insurance will reimburse the lockout service. Maybe some insurance companies offer that type of coverage but I have never heard of it. If some insurance companies offer this type of coverage I would think $35 to $50 is what would be covered. Of course this is all done so you will go ahead with the overpriced service. Then later you find out you have little or no coverage and have already paid $185.

With the dozens of other choices in the Valley. It is just best to try someone else.
