Placido's Lockshop

I used this Lockshop on Sat having used a Mercedes Benz mechanic who couldn't figure out my ignition situation on my SL500. Placido came recommended from another Phx Lockshop who assured me he'd know exactly how to fix the ignition & lock. He gave me a price up front and was on time for the appointment at my house . I live on the East side of Phx but because he was recommended from another locksmith I was more than willing to use him.
He took his time which was great. He took the old ignition out and analyzed the new ignition he put in. He's price was more then reasonable. I'd wish I'd found him a month ago having spent way more then I wanted to with others who just thought they knew what they were doing.

Found this guy on Craigslist.  Or a phone number on Craigslist that dispatched him to my house to fix a stuck ignition and was supposed to fix my driver side door lock.  Long story short my car now has no alarm, the door panel is broken, he busted out my lock on my door and dented in my ignition. Now I can't use my fob to lock my doors or pop my trunk. He wanted 400.00 bucks to straight up damage my car.  He blamed it on the age of the car and now his dispatcher is harassing me.  If you need a locksmith please look elsewhere. Not only is my car not fixed now I have more parts to replace.  I will be taking this to the BBB at a minimum.

Easy way to get things done. Placido showed up early for our two PM appointment to fix my ignition on my Kia Soul. I had called my regular locksmith (Who I have referred to my contractor friends) and never received even a callback. Placido is now my go-to guy for locksmith needs.

FIND SOMEONE ELSE!!! THIS GUY IS A TERRIBLE PERSON. My child had been admitted to Children's Hospital, upon being discharged I discovered I had lost my key. Placido told me he would arrive in 30 minutes or less. He showed up an hour and a half later, got out of his truck and said, "I know I told you $250 but I do not have the faub I can only do a regular key (he told me on the phone he had the faub). I told him I needed to call my husband and pulled out my phone. Placido then yells at me "SCREW YOU! I'm leaving!" He then got on his car and drove away.

This is probably the best service I received. I had lost my keys to my Mercedes Benz and I called "Plácido" to come out and help me. Within 25 minutes he was outside my door step. He was very professional and knowledgeable. Pricing was fair and honest; the dealer tried to charge me 800$. Highly recommend Plácido! Best work in the valley.

I went there based on a recommendation of a friend/client of mine. My car needed a new lock remote programmed. I was not disappointed in Placido. He is very kind, talkative, educated, and professional. He has deep knowledge of locks and related things. He fixed my car's remote in just twenty minutes. I was very pleased with him. I can only say" keep up the good work!!!". The only thing was that he uses Square as a credit card accepting interface, and I think he and his clients would be better of with another solution. That said I would give this good guy 6 (SIX) STARS. SUPER!!! THANK YOU FOR HELPING ME!!!

Used the request a quote feature - he responded almost immediately - came over to our office, fixed our locks and left. Process was super simple, quick and will definitely use him again if need be!

He fixed my locks, He is so professional. I highly recommend him. He is very helpful and friendly. he has a very good team. I called them last minute but they still helped me out and that's what I like about them.
