Rising Phoenix did a fantastic job on the exterior of our house. Detailed and professional.  They even removed an old satellite dish for me. We feel like we have a brand new house when we drive up to it. The stucco repair was well done and they took the time to ensure that the whole house was washed and any peeling paint was scraped off. I can see the quality difference compared to other houses that have been repainted in our area. We will definitely use Rising Phoenix for any painting job that we need done. Juan was on top of everything.  Quick responses and honest quotes. He even told us that he was probably not the cheapest because his crew ensures quality work. They were worth every dime.

We just relocated to AZ and had the entire interior of our new home painted by Alex's painting.  They did an awesome job!  We LOVE it.  Juan and his partner (name began with an M) were great.  The were thorough and perfectionists!  I honestly cannot day enough great things about them.  I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for a painter!

Unfortunately this company did NOT go an extra mile... in fact I am sure they didn't even go a single mile from their office/home given they no called no showed to our scheduled appointment.  Called and left voicemails to give them another opportunity however no one got back to me.  Truly disappointed given we had a great discussion over the phone yesterday scheduling the appointment.  Could have had a beautiful new home in Arcadia to add to their profile!

After having ABFP do a great job painting my interior on a tight schedule right before the 2021 holidays, I contacted them to do my exterior last month. They fit me right in and got the job done in less than 2 days despite the summer heat. Their painters were very friendly, polite and right one time, and Scott stopped by on day 1 to confirm my HOA-approved color and answer my questions. Prior to painting, they also did a lot of stucco repair, and the end result looks fantastic. I recommend them for both interior and exterior jobs!

Look no further! Alexander Juarez painting exceeded our expectations.  They're the best pricing, and provide the best services compared to others in The Valley.  They came to pressure wash the house a day before and repaired all of the old surface flaws .  My house looks refreshed (updated).  We have received nothing but compliments from our neighbors. I've hired 5 different painters over the years here and in California, a couple were decent, two were horrible but by far the best has been Crash of Rhinos Painting.  
Not only was the paint job itself superior, they pay attention to every detail both in the prep work and communicating with the customer.  In the past I've had a painter scribble their estimate on the back of an envelop.  But after walking the property their estimator gave me a multi page detail scope of work, which included the materials they use, exact colors for each aspect of the job and a break down of cost.   Within an hour of each end of day I'd receive an email detailing what was done that day with photos and an outline of what to expect the next day.
I can't say enough about their entire staff, best experience I've ever had with a painting company.

Alex responded quickly, over to do the project for a competitive price, kept in contact, did a beautiful job, clean up afterward, and helped me move some things back into place. I'd hire him again in a heartbeat.

~TL;DR~

I sat on this review a few weeks while I thought through, and sought lessons that could be learned from the experience. Since I signed-off on the work, I don't expect any action from the company. However, the experience matters so I will share.

I have a new-build. This is my first home. I wanted to paint my interior doors black. I specifically wanted my doors to be sprayed, NOT brushed or rolled.

I confirmed and re-verified this at every step... then the crew arrived. I was pressured to allow rolling and brushing to make the crew's job easier because they didn't want to do all of the prep work required to spray (prep work that was already outlined in the quote, and that I was prepared for). No one communicated to me a NEED to change the method. I was told by the crew, and the manager, not to be concerned with any difference in quality.

There were also a few hours in the middle of the multi-day job where the manager attempted to get me to pay 80% of the original cost, MORE, to resolve defects in the workmanship. (More on that if you read the full review via the link)

Well folks...here I am with brand new doors that are painted that have clear evidence of rolling and brushing, which is why I wanted them sprayed in the first place. I am pleased with my color choice...it is STUNNING! However, the workmanship and customer service left a lot to be desired. Perhaps the discount that was running at the time of the quote resulted in reduced effort, and workmanship?

Again, I don't expect anything from APC because I signed off on the work, and terms are terms. Lesson learned.

I am quoting with another company to have my brand-new doors sanded and repainted to achieve the look I wanted the first time...had my initial request to spray been honored.

I hope your experience turns out better. I believe they are capable of the many things they advertise. However, my experience was sub-par.

Excellent company! From start to finish, they were amazing! On time, professional, great suggestions, and finished exactly on time! They used high quality materials were  meticulous, and paid attention to detail. I will definitely use them in the future!

I cannot say enough good things about Annie and Frogstar Faux Finishing!  

I have been wanting to do a faux wood finish on my garage door for an eternity!!  I had some structural water damage to a window ledge in the front of my house and needed to hire a carpenter to repair and rebuild.     Because my house had not been painted in 5+ years, I decided to paint the entire house instead of just the new ledge.

When I met with the painter, I asked him if he did faux painting and he didn't.  He quoted me less that I had budgeted for, so I asked him not to paint the garage door and started doing my research to find someone to do the paint treatment and PRAYED it was within my budget.

I came across Frogstar Faux Finishing and emailed Annie to get a quote.  She was very responsive and gave me the basic information I needed to set up an appointment time.

She arrived on time to meet with me and we talked about what I was looking for and she gave me some suggestions and the estimate which was exactly the number I had had in mind.

I emailed her some photos of what I was hoping for and answered some of the questions she had for me and we booked the date.

Prior to the date, she stopped by with some samples which both were exactly what I had asked for..  one a few shades lighter than the other.  

The first day was prepping and priming and the second day was finishing.  She was so sweet and sent me photos along the way of her progress!

The finshed result could not be more perfect!   It was EXACTLY what I asked for and has given my house so much character, charm, and curb appeal... Neighbors are stopping by to give us compliments all the time!  

Annie has the greatest personality and is incredibly talented!  I can't wait until I have money in my budget to do some distressed-look paint treatments to my kitchen cabinets... Annie will be the ONLY one I call!!!

Great painting company! Definitely would recommend to anyone who likes fast, efficient, reliable and affordable painting and drywall services! The owner Justin was very polite and very professional about his work! They did an amazing job repairing our drywall and painting our new home! We will be getting our exterior painted shortly by them as we are very pleased with the interior work completed!

We hired them for popcorn ceiling removal & retexturing. Their pricing was very fair, & they were professional & courteous. Terry, the franchise owner, kept us well-informed regarding scheduling, & the crew showed up on time every time. They were the only company that included caulking around the edges of the ceiling to avoid gaps after the popcorn was off & the ceiling retextured. Everything looks amazing, & the crew left the jobsite very tidy. I would highly recommend this franchise.

Mike and his crew were great throughout the process. Originally they did some light work on a few rooms in our house then the knocked the exterior out of the park. Great crew, great work so happy we used State 48 Painting!

Ralph came out, gave us a fair quote, and we hired him. They painted our walls, baseboards, doors, and the garage. They also were able to get us in rather fast, which was nice. The paint looks great and my house looks brand new. The only room for improvement would be in the cleanup. The shower door and our floor had some paint, also some of our furniture wasn't put back. Other than that, they showed up on time, worked hard, and the painters were friendly and professional.
