Best Recessed Light Installation in Chicago IL

Another great install.  He installed two bathroom fans an six recessed ceiling lights in the family room. Excellent work and very professional. Arrived on time and did the work on budget. Highly recommend their service.

We used T & D to install new circuits for our apartment. Marcus came out to review and quote the work.  He was very knowledgable and answered questions in a way a person without any electrical background could understand.

The communication was top notch. Marianne handled the logistics and updates in a very timely manner.

Also, I accidentally overpaid at the site because I forgot about the deposit. She caught it before I did and called me an hour later to refund the amount.  I was floored by how quickly, and proactively they reached out.

Greg was our electrician and he was very quick and efficient.  He finished his work in well under the expected amount of time. He required very little direction, explained what he was going to do and got to work.

The actual cost came in under the quoted amount - which might be a first for me.

Finally, we experienced an issue that didn't show itself until the next day.  I called and they were out immediately the next day and resolved it.

To me this last part was phenomenal.  Sometimes things happen, but it's how people respond to the situation that leaves a lasting impression on me.  Their response was fantastic.  

After everything, it's abundantly clear that they care about their customers.  They are trustworthy, knowledgeable, and make you feel comfortable about the whole process.

I will be using them for all future electrical work and would strongly recommend them to anybody else looking for the highest quality work with the best customer care.

Great Experience.  We set the appointment up with Neville (only through text messages after leaving a voicemail), and it was super easy.  Johnny arrived in the time window he said that he would, he was really nice and accommodating. He didn't have a problem with my gigantic dog, and I enjoyed hanging out with him for a couple hours while he corrected a lighting problem and hung a light fixture.  The pricing also seemed very reasonable, we'll be using them again in the future!

I used Kinetic Energy for big project; second story remediation removing existing knob and tube.  I can't say enough positive things about my experience.  Ted, Ivan, Isaac and Carlos did great work.  They were punctual, respectful, friendly, and cleaned up every day they left. They know how to get around old Oak Park houses.  Communication was very good. I added a few things to the project list and they were patient with me and happy to complete all of the additional work.  I would not hesitate to hire them again.

Noel and Kieran are absolutely wonderful! Very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable with their trade. The work they performed to run a new circuit for my EV Charger was done perfectly and exactly as requested. They did a wonderful job of cleaning up after the installation. We have had Chris and Mike to our newly purchased (but older) home on four occasions during the past 12 months. They have upgraded electrical outlets, switches, lighting, hard wired smoke alarms, and thermostat systems. They are responsive, professional and efficient.  They have taken time to ensure internet interface of the Nest Fire/carbon dioxide alarms and doorbell. Recommend them highly.

I had a dining room light fixture that kept flickering on and off. I also needed a GFCI installed for the garbage disposal & outlet by the kitchen sink. I called Monday and spoke to Maggie who was very pleasant and professional. She advised me to get a new light fixture in case the old one was not worth fixing. An appointment was made for Wednesday morning. Lukasz, the electrician, was on time and did a terrific job. Installed the new dining room fixture & had him do 3 GFCI's in the kitchen.

I had an excellent experience with this company today. Within an hour of being contacted by my landlord, I received a call asking when the electrician could stop by. Being after five and a holiday week, I was surprised. He said he would be here within a half hour and he was. The electrician was knowledgeable, quick, and very pleasant in manner. He worked quickly and had everything working perfectly in a short amount of time. I would recommend this business to anyone looking for reliable electrical service.

I needed two ceiling fans and a couple lights installed and some other electrical work a few months ago. Scott Nelson Electric service was outstanding. They explained everything completely and clearly. They got the job done right. I took several bids for that job and they gave me a good  price.

These guys are top-notch. Our daughter had a fire in her townhouse that was potentially caused by an electrical problem. Weeks later, after discovering that she had had other electrical problems and that the insurance company was not even looking at the electrical system to see if anything was wrong, I called Donatello sight unseen for help. After a conversation with the owner(?) I was told to check something and call back. I did and they came out within hours. The technician Mike was thorough, knowledgeable and polite. He checked the entire system as well as some switches and outlets, explaining at every point what he was looking for and asking questions. We were delighted that he found several issues and corrected all of them on the spot, no return visits or vague promises. We felt much safer after his thorough inspection and competent repairs. Jack and his crew have done a number of jobs at my house (added a mini-split line and took care of some home inspection issues).  Pricing is very competitive and the work has been excellent.  Highly recommend.

We had Safe Electrical Service out to do some upgrades recently.  We were very pleased with the service we received. We wanted several things done but were unsure about which to do first. Charles broke down the work into three proposals which made it easier for us to decide, based on our budget and needs. He also helped identify some safety issues with the current wiring and load panel, which we had him correct.  His crew are all very professional and highly skilled. They did an amazing job installing recessed LED ceiling lights as well as extra outlets, dimmers, the circuit breaker panel, and even helped troubleshoot an issue we had with our rec room wiring. I called Goldstream to see if they could come out to look at some electrical issues in my house. Unfortunately, we are out of the service zone, but Matt was super helpful. He even stayed on the phone with me to explain what the electrical issue may be, answer my questions and offered suggestions on what to do. I can't speak to anything but our phone call, but I have to imagine that if you are in their service area, they are the best place to do business with.

We made an appointment for an estimate and nobody showed up. I called and only received voicemail and nobody returned my calls. Based upon other more positive reviews, I was disappointed in the unprofessional treatment.

I would not use A to Z Electric again.  

They broke the lens on the porch light I had them install.  They had agreed to install a timer on that light.  Upon installation they claimed they didn't have on in their truck.  

They also installed a ceiling fan and came up with additional excuses why they couldn't install a similar wall switch to the other ceiling fans we have in our house.

A to Z also moved our kitchen light.  They drilled a hole in our ceiling without confirming whether we were o.k. with the position.  I was sitting in the next room while they were working.  They then lost the screws to our fixture.  

The work was o.k. besides the fact that they didn't do exactly what they agreed to do in the quote.  With so many other contractors out there it's not worth dealing with someone who doesn't take pride in their work.
