Jason returned my call within 30 minutes and was able to come out and fix our circuit breaker problem on the same day.  He was able to isolate the problem and fix it in less than an hour.  I would highly recommend Jason to anyone needing electrial expertise.

UPDATE #2: Apparently Matt just can't let this go.  In my mind he's digging himself deeper into the hole, since I wouldn't want to work with a company that acts like this, but that is for you to decide.  Since the last update, Matt's wife called and begged me to take down the review since it would hurt their business...but I don't feel good doing that knowing that you, the customer, may end up in the same boat that I am currently in.  I think all you need to do is read Matt's response below to know that you should NEVER work with this company.  The fact that a company would post private information about 1 of their customers...sensitive or not...legal or not...paints a pretty clear picture that they don't give a damn about you, they're petty, and that customer service is not a term they're familiar with.

To Matt's main point that he is clinging to for dear life: No, no one ever came out and estimated work for me.  I was *trying to get them to come do this*...but the response was first that they don't come out to do estimates without sending a team to do the work, then that they could send a team to say the cost and do the job (but made it sound like they weren't going to if I wasn't basically going to commit to it over the phone), then finally that they don't get involved in insurance stuff even though I'm pretty sure I was clear that I wanted them to give me an estimate so that I could work with my insurance company (not them) and needed a couple weeks to get everything sorted.  The text messages Matt rudely and mind-bogglingly posted are only about 1/3 of my interaction with WGE, which has been both negative and 1 star (now less) from start to finish.

Since this crazy debacle, I have worked with 3 other companies and had 0 problems.  1 of these companies chose to no-bid and the other did not call me back.  I did not write them a 1 star review because that's not 1 star service...  Willow Glen Electric apparently treats their potentially customers like trash...now THAT is definitely 1 star service.  My review stands, and every time that I interact with them I feel more justified in writing it and in not taking it down, as they have been begging.  I hope, dear consumer, that you will take my tale as a cautionary one and work with one of the other, great electrical companies in the area.

UPDATE: After posting this, the company contacted me to learn what they could have done better, but spent most of the call talking over me, reading my post and text messages to me, and otherwise harassing me.  I ended the call as I didn't appreciate the waste of my time nor the harassing tone.  In the comment, Matt posts an image of a text conversation that I DID NOT GIVE HIM PERMISSION TO POST.  This is a huge violation of my privacy and I believe violates Yelps, Imgurs, and other terms of service.  I'll be reporting this violation and will pursue a restraining order if it comes to it.  It's amazing that simply requesting a quote can lead to such a terrible experience.

WGE was recommended by a neighbour, so I reached out for an estimate on some work that I need done.

They did not respond to initial email requesting quote/information.

Would not provide an estimate up front (provided per hour information, but no information on estimated time to completion).  They were very willing (and even pushy) about coming out ASAP but wanted to quote work and do it.  I'm not going to have a team come out to my house, tell me the work is going to be $10,000, and then be expected to write a check on the spot...I need to know what I'm getting into up front so I can organize the job, funds, etc on my end.

In the process of trying to get them to quote something, they also said that they are unwilling to work on insurance related issues (even though I was paying out of pocket and dealing with the insurance company on my end--hence why I needed the estimate up front).

Very bad customer service experience just trying to get a quote and information on possibly having them do a job.  It's a small job and therefore I'm sure not high on their priority list, but the customer experience was bad enough that I definitely won't contact them again and won't be recommending them to anyone I know.

Price was competitive, and he was very knowledgeable.

We were very happy with the work done by Adary Electric.  We had several small projects that they tackled with easy.  All along the way explaining what they were doing and answering all our questions.  The next day we had a small problem with one of the outlets and they were responsive fixing the issue very quickly.   Note that I do not review very often and was not asked to review by the company.  That said, we will use Adary Electric in the future and would recommend to to family and friends.

I had some issues in my panel and some breakers was tripping off. The panel was burning inside and fortunately they replaced it faster and the same day. They safe my home thanks so much guys

Great company! AC broke on a Saturday, has had odd issue for some time now, I've had two other companies out here to look at it and they never really found a root cause. I was lucky enough to get Alan as a technician from Fuse, he found multiple issues with the unit and had us back up and running in no time. I will absolutely use them again and will be recommending them to friends.

We reached out to Jack to add recess lighting in our living room. Jack and his partner did an incredible job and I'm very happy with the final outcome. We had contacted a few other electricians but they refused because of our wooden ceiling. Jack and his team did an incredible job. The cutting in the wood was precise and no damage was done. He also took precautions to make sure the floor did not get dirty/ damaged while they were working.

The entire communication with him was smooth and easy! I highly recommend his work. You won't be disappointed.

My neighbor right next door asked me about installing a new electric panel for their townhouse where we share a wall. They received a very high quote from someone so I looked area in my area since it was a project I had been thinking about doing as well. I searched and had a few quotes for both of us. Carlos came right out, gave us a quote we agreed upon and he did the work yesterday! It is not an easy job but got the permits and approval from Saratoga and PGE. Everything went smoothly and very professional, which is hard to find these days. I highly recommend his business.

Mike came out after my mother called him to resolve an electrical issue with her patio lighting. Mike did an excellent job at a cost effective price. My mother had further issues with her light not working after Mike completed original repairs. Again, he came out on time and reviewed the issue. Discovered it was a bad bulb versus the work he completed but did not charge my mother for his valuable time.

Words cannot express how happy we are with the phenomenal service and results we received from General Electric Services (Edwin and Hormus). We recently moved to San Jose and spent about two weeks trying to find the perfect electrician for the job. We came across GES and scheduled an appointment; they arrived early and were able to give us a quote and schedule our appointment for installation within 30 minutes! We had recessed lights, recessed outlets, smart switches, ceiling fans and a chandelier installed. They were very very professional, clean, friendly and courteous. We truly had a 5 star experience!

Mike is prompt in his responses and he's incredibly down to earth and professional in his work. He had installed the Tesla Gen-3 charger in our garage with the utmost care, and spotless work. I'd be happy to work with him again in the future!

Great service by James M.! He came to us the same evening of my call after a very large tree fell on our main power line and house. James was extremely kind and helpful and worked directly with the city utilities until our main line was fully tested and quickly reconnected. He understands problems and the city permit hurdles and goes out of his way to help his customers. I highly recommend James, he has great knowledge and also knows how to deal with the utilities and customers, overall great customer service. Pricing was very competitive for a same day emergency service.

I needed to get 2 regular outlet installed, one 220v outlet installed for car charging, 2 floodlight installation. Brayan and his team got the work done for me. They did a good quality work. They arrived on time, are very nice guys to talk too. I would definitely reach out to them for all my future electric work

Called TD West again for breaker tripping and Salvador troubleshooted it down a receptable box hitting ground.  Once he fixed it, the breaker stopped tripping and reset held steady.  Wife is happy now that she can teach piano with lights in the room.  Thanks for coming out on short notice.

We're about to start construction on a Kitchen remodel in El Cerrito, and I feel lucky to have Mickey H. from Coastwide Electric helping fill my team.
He came *highly* recommended by my excellent GC for this project, so I trust Coastwide by extension.
When Mickey came by last week and talked through stuff with me I was filled with confidence. We were able to quickly confirm we are on the same page. I'm expecting the utmost professional experience throughout the next couple months. I'd highly recommend Coastwide Electric already, and I expect to come back after the remodel to share photos and a glowing update (bad pun intended).

I contacted Alley Electric in December to have wall fishing done on my cable from the 3rd to the 2nd floor of my condo.  Alley Electric, Wesley and Alina came out to do the job.  I showed them some solid outlets behind my dresser.  Alina was able to reach her arm in and pull out cable lines.  The 2nd floor already had cable.  They put a splitter and ran a line to my desk.  I now have phone and Internet at my desk.  It is working beautifully.  They did not charge me the full price of the job.  

If I have electrical needs in the future, I will not hesitate to call Alley Electric!

I contacted Raphael through Yelp and he responded quickly. He came out and replaced all the exterior lights around my house. He was very professional and did an excellent job.

Since then, I've had him come out and do several more jobs. He's always been very responsive and his work is top notch.

I recently asked if he could install dimmable ceiling lights for a picture we had ordered. He had great recommendations and had our lights ready to go when our picture arrived.

Once in a while, you find a company that exceeds your expectations. Raphael is my first call whenever I need help from an electrician.

After browsing a long list of Tesla charger installers, I ultimately chose Fruitdale Electric. Within days of my initial contact, they visited my home and provided a quote, which was much faster than I expected.

On installation day, their technicians arrived promptly. They installed a Tesla gen 3 charger, surge protection, and ran electrical wiring through my attic to the opposite side of the house. Despite the terrible weather at the time, they delivered flawless work.

The location of the charger was a challenge due to the tight space, and I had anticipated conduit running outside of my house. However, they exceeded my expectations and executed an incredibly clean installation with no visible wires or conduits, leaving just a Tesla charger on the wall exactly where I wanted it. Most importantly, my car now charges at a rate of over 40mph, a significant improvement from the previous rate of 4mph.

We had some outlets that did not work, and PCHS was really helpful in identifying and fixing the issue with our electric system. Both Jaime and Eddie were great: professional and knowledgeable . They communicated clearly and welcomed our questions. Eddie was able to fix the issue we had with ease and with minimal disruption (we were WFH while he was working). He also put back all the stuff that we had to move for him to reach the outlets. We are extremely happy with their work.
