I walked out to leave today and the outlet in the garage looked as if it had twinkle lights plugged in, but nothing was plugged in.  Needless to say my internal breaker flipped, especially considering it is Saturday.  

I flipped the plug breaker and came into start the dreaded hunt for an electrician that would show up on a Saturday, not be a troll and half, diagnosis, and fix the issue.

I am beyond please to say Malco came through with flying colors!  Voice mail had numbers for people to call in case of an emergency.  Jimmie was listed first and he answered the phone on the first ring.  Jimmie immediately alerted Cody, the person on call.  Cody, called me within in minutes of me texting the address and he was here far sooner than I anticipated.  All was fixed and my internal breaker has reset to resting peacefully in under 2 hours.

Cody took the time to walk me through how he diagnosed and fixed the issue.  He also took the time to talk to me about how to get ahead of potential electrical concerns on an aging house (38 going on 39 years old).  Definitely one of those people who is enjoyable to talk to, no misogynistic overtones or condescending attitude.

Thank you Malco, Jimmie, & Cody!  You saved my weekend and likely my house from burning to the ground.

Called Texas Electrical Services to install some smart switches after discovering that my wiring in my switch box was pretty non-standard. Asahel and Chris were great. They installed the switches quickly and carefully and cleaned up everything. They also explained everything they were doing so I learned a lot.

Since they were already there, I asked them for quote on installing a new outlet on a wall that didn't have one. They gave me a few options and were able to install it right then for an extremely reasonable price.

Both projects came out looking great.

COMMERCIAL PROJECT! Grayzer electricians went above and beyond to accomplish the project. They even worked extended hours to get it done. Victor and Eric asked me the only question How do you want it to be done? They never argued, never said they cannot do something.  I, honestly, never had any better experience with contractors. These guys are amazing. They have spotless reviews for a reason.

Add another 5 Star review for these guys. Used them today for a simple job after reading all the positive reviews and they exceeded my expectations. Scheduled me quickly, showed up on time, and cleaned up after they were done. Would use them again.

These guys are punctual, responsive, knowledgeable, personable, and went the extra mile when, through no fault of their own, I needed them to come out twice after the initial service to fix an issue that came up after they did a perfect job. Highly recommend.

Jonathan the owner did my electrical work this morning.  He was early to the work assignment, did an excellent job on trenching, running low voltage wire and installing 4 spot lights for a HOA entrance sign.  Worked quickly to complete the job.  Excellent communication throughtout the process.  He had the lowest bid among the 4 finalist.  I am having him doing another job when he has the time.  al

We had a couple light switches break/melt, and Scott was able to come and fix them the very next day. Scott is friendly and provided quality service at a very competitive price. He got the job done quickly and efficiently. We will definitely be calling him for all of our future electrical needs! Thanks Bear Electric!

Raymond suggested us practical and affordable generator solution for our home, picked generator model and set everything up promptly. Installation process went smooth, he is also very responsive - answered my text even during weekend when I had questions. We will reach out to him in the future if need any electrical work done.

What an amazing company! I was thrilled with the response time, the technician, and Rosalinda who scheduled us so quickly. Our technician arrived earlier than expected and quickly identified the problem and fixed it as best he could (bad wiring.)  We will absolutely hire them again - extremely impressed!

Alejandro was able to diagnose my issue in a few minutes by phone, which saved an expensive service visit. We really appreciate the help, and will go back to Raptor when we have issues in the future.

Communicative and reliable

Max was easy and clear to communicate with. Gave pricing estimates early on over messaging (didn't require an in-person visit for my project) and was clear about what we could expect with service - something I really appreciate! Dylan completed our service and was wonderful to be around and did excellent work. He was friendly, professional, gave advice for light placement, and seemed to have our best interests in mind when placing the lights and discussing light brightness/warmth. Completely recommend Twin Oaks Electric!

Compared to other electricians, you actually get a quick response time and quick service. Will 100% be using again for any electrical needs.

Honest and fair! Have used Jon a handful of times and every time he's very fair, reasonable and gets the job done right. I highly recommend!!

I can't say enough about Maury. He shows on time, he's reasonable priced, knowledgeable, and is very passionate about his work. He will be the only electrician  I will ever call when I have a problem. I've give his name and number out to many people and everyone is always very pleased! So glad I found Maury!

Caveats: I live out-of-state and own a tenant-occupied house that was built in 1974 and was a fixer-upper when we bought it in 2006.

Maybe it is the above info that makes it so hard to find a great handyman. I don't know. But when I first contacted Dan I had really high hopes based on all the great reviews. I explained that we really needed was a handyman we could send a To Do list to and they could take it from there....set up appointment with tenant and follow-thru until list was complete.

It never really worked out that way. Lots of calls/explanations/rescheduling with tenants/confusion over to do list/confusion over parts needed/etc. The final straw was the 4th (or 5th?) scheduled appointment that Dan arrived at and immediately told tenants he couldn't stay to complete any of the work.....just dropped by to cancel in person.

He seems like a really nice guy to sit and chat with. Maybe if you are on site and really flexible with your time he'd be a good fit. The amount of time and money I spent, though, to try and get a pretty basic list complete (we're talking installing a kitchen sprayer, touch-up painting, putting on a screen door, etc....) wasn't worth the hassle. 3 1/2 months after first contacting him, my tenants have thrown up their hands in frustration, and I'm moving on....
