The guys with Whitehart Energy are awesome and can tackle all of your electrical/energy needs. They are not only experts in what they do but they are super nice to work with. We have had them do multiple jobs for us from putting in a new underground electric service, wiring our barn, generators, running electrical up to a new home site, building the service for the home, installing a solar system and several more projects. These guys do it all!!!

We had an issue with our customized trailer and Ken came out to fix every issue we had. We had a whole laundry list of issues to fix and he made sure everything was fixed before he left. He also answered every question we had so we understood exactly how the circuit worked. We would definitely recommend Morningstar to everyone in the area!

I've had the pleasure of working with Ampology on several occasions in the past few years. I bought a house from the 50's several years ago and there were plenty of electrical projects that needed attention. The guys at Ampology have always been professional, knowledgeable, efficient and competitive in their quotes.

There are still plenty of projects on the house and I look forward to working with them again in the future.

Bathroom light blew out and they fixed it. They also replaced bulbs I can't reach, replaced two outlets (old house) and investigated a vent hood with a problem. Thank you Julian and Mathias!

I just had Marble Falls Electric bring my 50 year old house & guest house up to code with new main enclosure, new breaker boxes and wiring for a hot tub.  Not only was it reasonable but the turn around time was absolutely exceptional.  They rerouted / replaced cables that were quite ugly on the outside of my house.  These guys are hard working and worth every penny.

Sarge is an awesome electrician! I would not use anyone else for any of my future electrical work. He did a great job installing an outlet for my car charger and fixed a few other things as well. He's a great communicator and very polite. He really cares about the work he does and he'll steer you in the right direction! I highly recommend him.

We have used Karen many times for a variety of electrical jobs both at our home and our son's home.  She's great.  She comes on time and does exactly what she says she will.  The work is done right.  Even when we lived in Houston and rented the Austin home we live in now she was wonderful.  We are happy to recommend her!

Our electric water heater died last week and my son did everything he usually does to fix it but this time nothing worked, so he called Red Grizzly Electric, based on reviews. Scott Weaver (Mr Grizzly?) called back within an hour and arrived within 30 minutes after the call, and we live way out in the country.

He quickly located the problem (a burnt out breaker) and replaced it, and now our water heater is working PERFECTLY and he was only here less than an hour! Plus he was nice to our dog.

We will DEFINITELY be calling him for ALL of our electrical needs from now on.

Oh and PS, it cost only $100!

We hired Kelly from Kruse Electric to perform an electric pole repair job in Taylor. They are a family run business and run it with integrity and honesty. Despite having several jobs lined up, they provided an immediate quote to me over the phone. They provided a free estimate and didn't charge any visit fee. Moreover, not only did they provide the best quote, after scheduling the job, they completed it as promised (on time, on budget). They accept most forms of payments. Definitely give this business a chance for any kind of your electrical needs in Austin/Taylor area.

It's very convenient that these guys are available on the weekends. I called on the weekend. The dude scheduled me for first thing Monday morning. Another dude came found the problem with my bathtub overflow drain, and fixed it right away. It cost $145 and took very little of my time and effort. Thanks! I wish I had called sooner. So far so good on the overflow drain now working properly.

Please do not use Pro Light Atx, aka Anthony (Tony) Stapleton for any of your electric projects. I got his name via the Yelp project services to install GFCI outlets. He gave me a price good price and took money for the materials ($340) but then ghosted me. He called once to mention some personal issues and said that he would come immediately to complete my project but never did. He has not replied to my texts (he has read them) nor voicemails nor through the Yelp app. He has still not refunded my money.
At this point, I would not recommend Tony at all and would not trust him nor pay money in advance.
If something changes (like getting my money refunded), I will update this review.

Be very careful with this contractor.  He was called out to give us a bid for work on one of our properties.  He was onsite for about fifteen minutes and did not do anything but look.  He then billed us for work he did and when we refused to pay he threatened us with a lien.   If I could give him less than 1 star I would.
