I can't say enough great things about Chris. He is knowledgeable, honest, hardworking (gets the job done right the first time), and is an all-around awesome guy. He has done numerous jobs inside and outside of my home and did an entire barn for me. I wouldn't call anyone else.

OMG! These guys were great. They came promptly to give me a bid. It was super easy to get the job scheduled. They showed up on time and did their work with as little disruption to my home as possible. I would definitely use them again and will be sure to recommend them to anyone in need of an electrician!

Update: Two years later after the above original post I had an electrical issue and had Morningstar come back. They were again amazing! I thought the issue was with the electrical connection. Morningstar took the time to figure out the machine was defective and not the electrical wiring. They spent all that time figuring out it was my machine, not the electrical connection, and did not charge me extra for their time. If you have an electrical need. Make sure you call Morningstar!

They SAVED us. They were able to help us out with a complicated issue related to a hook up to city sewer. They sent out guys twice last minute so that we could have everything fixed in time for a final inspection. The owner also answered his phone in the evening and called our plumber to work through an issue. We will definitely use this company in the future and refer them to friends.

Did great work, was very informative and professional, I will be using Advance Wiring again in the future for sure!  He came out quickly and right on time.  Everything has worked great since!

Aaron is knowledgeable, professional, and prompt.  He got back to me within 10 minutes of posting on Yelp, and over some text messages was able to get me a quote over the phone for some Aluminum Wire remediation within an hour.  Day-of service, he arrived promptly, answered all of my questions, and found a few electrical problems I wasn't even aware of.  He finished the job below budget and ahead of schedule, left his card and said to call him if I had any questions or concerns.    I will be using no other electrician in Austin: Bedwell is the best.  Highly recommended.

OMG!   We recently moved to Kerrville and did some research on Electric Companies in the area.   Based on feedback and reviews, we selected Pucek Electric to help with everything we needed for our home.  We had all fans and chandelier type lighting taken down, and all new products assembled and installed...............also had dimmer switches installed,

I just had Marble Falls Electric bring my 50 year old house & guest house up to code with new main enclosure, new breaker boxes and wiring for a hot tub.  Not only was it reasonable but the turn around time was absolutely exceptional.  They rerouted / replaced cables that were quite ugly on the outside of my house.  These guys are hard working and worth every penny.

I was referred to Sarge Mabry and was a little skeptical since I had not dealt with them. I looked up the Yelp reviews - it looked promising so I called them. Sarge was GREAT over the phone and arranged for Efran to come over the same day. Efran came promptly as promised, listened patiently to the problem and within no time identified the issue and fixed it. It was a relief to have hot water finally after the early morning No hot water in the house scramble. Three cheers to Sarge and Efran - you both were awesome, keep up the Good Work and Customer service! You just have a new customer for the future!

Where to begin?  Our electrical panel was having some issues with the breaker to the Microwave tripping every few days, we also needed some assistance with flickering lights on the dimmers, and a ceiling fan that would not turn on when the switch was flipped (you had to flip it twice and then it would come on, kind of annoying).  

They sent an inexperienced electrician out to look at the breaker, the owner even admitted that he wasn't experienced.  He was here for about two or three hours and was dumbfounded by everything I showed him.  He tried to convince me that the breaker that was tripping was being tripped by a gecko that was in the box when he opened it.  That's a pretty strong gecko and very selective in choosing the microwave that is only the 220 volt power supply in the box.  It's fine for people to learn on the job, but if he's that inexperienced he should be tagging along with someone until he knows what he is doing.

After about two hours of watching this guy scratch his head the owner showed up.  She talked a good game and was clearly knowledgeable but ultimately only solved the issue with the dimmers by putting a restrictor on the dimmer switch.  

She couldn't solve the issue with the ceiling fan and to this day I still have to turn it on twice to get it to work.  She told me that she thought there was a motor that needed time to power up inside the fan and that just leaving it on would fix the problem.  It didn't.  I also pointed out that I have the exact same fan (purchased at the same time) in three other rooms of the house and it turns on in every other room with the simple flick of the switch, just once . . . *crickets.  So that was left undone.

Now the breaker box.  She told me that the breaker box had too much direct sunlight on it and the heat from the sun was causing the breaker to trip.  Her solution was to space out the breakers so they weren't lined up one on top of the other.  I asked why my neighbors breaker which is right next to mine wasn't having the same issue . . . no answer.   Anyway, we went with her suggestion and she spaced each of them out.  Now instead of the microwave tripping every two to three days it trips once per day like clockwork.  The cherry on top was that she didn't bother to relabel the breakers after she moved them, she just told us which ones were which and we did it ourselves.

Charged us $886 for fixing our dimmers, not fixing our ceiling fan and causing our microwave breaker to now trip once per day.

Our electric water heater died last week and my son did everything he usually does to fix it but this time nothing worked, so he called Red Grizzly Electric, based on reviews. Scott Weaver (Mr Grizzly?) called back within an hour and arrived within 30 minutes after the call, and we live way out in the country.

He quickly located the problem (a burnt out breaker) and replaced it, and now our water heater is working PERFECTLY and he was only here less than an hour! Plus he was nice to our dog.

We will DEFINITELY be calling him for ALL of our electrical needs from now on.

Oh and PS, it cost only $100!

We hired Kelly from Kruse Electric to perform an electric pole repair job in Taylor. They are a family run business and run it with integrity and honesty. Despite having several jobs lined up, they provided an immediate quote to me over the phone. They provided a free estimate and didn't charge any visit fee. Moreover, not only did they provide the best quote, after scheduling the job, they completed it as promised (on time, on budget). They accept most forms of payments. Definitely give this business a chance for any kind of your electrical needs in Austin/Taylor area.

I am a realtor so using plumbers is something I do fairly often! I had some clients recently purchase a house and the bathrooms fixtures were limited on the spectrum of hot or cold water that would come out. It was either cold water that went only to lukewarm or warm water that went to scolding hot.
We thought they were going to have to replace their bathroom fixtures and the mixing valves in them to a higher quality. Instead, Anthony and Daniel came out from 1st Home and Commercial Services and identified the problem and came up with a solution that didn't cost hundreds of dollars! They were absolutely phenomenal!

They could have recommended the replacement which would have also meant tearing up the walls, but instead they took the honest and best approach!

I was trying to get someone to troubleshoot an issue happening to several outlets and lights in my house. Was struggling to find someone to do it since most companies were not able to give me much information besides their hourly rates.

I decided to hire Pro Light ATX because Tony was down to earth and easy to deal with from the beginning. Instead of just quoting me hourly rates, he asked questions about the issue and give me a worst case estimate for a fix. He also got me to understand that the issue could be a potential safety hazard so I got him to come and take a look as soon as possible.

There was a few communication issues when we were trying to organize the visit, but as soon as Tony got to my house he got to work trying to discard some theories. He was able to get the issue fixed and thankfully it was nothing severe and less than his original estimate. He charged me a very fair rate for almost 2 hours of work, definitely lower than what others had tried to charge before.

Overall I had a good experience and would hire him again for potential projects.

Be very careful with this contractor.  He was called out to give us a bid for work on one of our properties.  He was onsite for about fifteen minutes and did not do anything but look.  He then billed us for work he did and when we refused to pay he threatened us with a lien.   If I could give him less than 1 star I would.
