Expensive, but efficient and reliable. They were dispatched within an hour of my calling and fixed my sub panel breaker issue in under an hour. A journeyman and an apprentice arrived, and you pay for both of their time. I don't think I needed both, but it was an emergency and they were both easy to work with and again, reliable. Very glad I found them and would use them again!

Our newly purchased home needed a bunch of work, including a new panel. Max and Trystan came out and did it all, and even swept up afterward. They couldn't have been nicer or more courteous, responded to our changing requests, and walked us through all of the charges at the end. They even called to let us know they were going to be 20 minutes late on the second day.

Jon is honest and responsive. A lot of the electricians I contacted seemed intimidated or hesitant to take on our electrical remodel. They weren't prepared for the walkthrough, didn't take notes, and never got back to me or just padded their quote to the sky to make up for their lack of good estimation and cover their misses.

Jon promptly came on site and walked through the proposal and asked appropriate questions. He got back to me with a very detailed quote at a competitive price within 24 hours.

After the project, his invoice was equally detailed and accurate.

He's going to be able to deal with your electrical work; but the things above set him apart from the vast majority of electricians you'll encounter in the Austin area--and contractors in general. Particularly if you have a big job, these aspects of the job are much more important than most homeowners realize. Don't underestimate them, go with Brightside.

Scott came on time and finished the generator inlet installation in about an hour. He bought a box with him and no trash left. Tested my 6kw generator with both heaters on, tested pool pump too, one less thing to worry this winter. :)

Needed an outdoor GFCI installed and LGE did a great job at a reasonable price. Definitely will give Raymond a shout next time I need electrical work.

Fantastic service. Incredibly nice and was willing to come out right before Christmas when no one else was available. Fixed my issues really quick and affordable. Can't recommend enough.

I needed an electrician to run & bury wire,  about 100' worth, plus add some outlets for pumps, lights & etc.

Yelp asked if I wanted to send the request for bids to multiple firms and I clicked yes.

The bid went to five electrical contractors.  

The first to respond was L & R Electric, and they were available the next day, to assess the job and prep a bid.

Out of 5, 1 firm never responded, two more made appointments and came to assess & bid.  

One guy was pure upsell, another was not highly experienced.  

But L & R showed up on time, was wearing a mask, was courteous, professional. Over the next couple of days, Louis was VERY communicative, sent me a bid, and came in under the other firms large and small.

After awarding them the bid, two men came the next morning, got right after the job, and completed it the same day, cleaning up after themselves.  Tino & Jerry were a great pair, friendly and very conscientious.

Tino looked at the electrical panel & determined it was maxed out, & actually over-burdened.   We decided it needed to be upgraded.  This is not uncommon for  a 37 year old house, so we approved the upgrade.

All in all, it could not have gone any smoother, nor could everybody at L&R been any more pleasant to deal with than they were.  

I recommend them without any reservations.

Just had Alejandro from Raptor Electrical out to take care of a number of electrical issues we'd been experiencing in our home. I contacted them this morning and since all of their guys were out and I was flexible, they'd send someone when available between jobs. Two hours later, Alejandro was here and we were going through each of the items on my list.

He addressed two issues with lighting in our master bath and closet, replaced a vent fan in another bathroom, and we discussed another panel breaker issue.

The price for their services were very fair and reasonable and Alejandro took the time to talk through the causes of some of the issues we were having and made complete sense. That educational aspect provided was just amazing and greatly appreciated!

Will definitely be the first company I call or recommend for any electrical needs in the future! Already added to my Yelp bookmarks after this first experience!

These guys were great!  I submitted a request for a quote, which included a description of my issue and a number of photos. Miguel and Texas Electrical Connect quickly determined the issue, provided a price quote, came out to the house the very next morning, and fixed the issue within the quoted price!  I really value responsiveness and efficiency, and I couldn't be happier with how everything went. I will definitely put them at the top of my list when I need electrical work in the future.

Twin Oaks was by far the most responsive company we reached out too. Dillon did a great job adding a wall socket behind my TV.

Travis and his crew were top notch, came in and efficiently got to work diagnosing and replacing GFCI's and resealing an outdoor outlet. Friendly and outgoing. Would definitely reach out to them for any future work.

Maury is a saint.  I couldn't recommend he and Robin more, absolute life savers.  We had 3 wire scheduled to do some work for us on a project, unfortunately we had a trenching mishap in preparation.  Our main line to the house got cut and did a bunch of other damage. We got an outrageous quote from some nefarious overly opportunistic electrician (that I will not name for the sake of my karma) and Maury got us up and running for nearly half of what that other dude (not to be mentioned) quoted us.  While saving our bacon, Maury and Robin discovered all sorts of seriously problematic existing electrical issues that could have been catastrophic.  They even discovered that our dryer vent wasn't making it out of our house.  These guys are great, call them.  There is nothing better than finding GOOD PEOPLE when you absolutely need them.  Thank you guys!!!

We had a very challenging painting that needed to be placed on a wall. Dan has done some fast calculations and managed to place the picture exactly where required (and it was truly hard). We had another heavy mirror that we wanted to place on the wall. I was under the assumption that it would take 15 minutes at least and Dan was able to nail it in less then a minute!
