Finding a good plumber is like finding a good barber; you have to suffer through a bunch of bad haircuts (or bad plumbing jobs) before you find one you can stick with. Rich is a plumber you can trust in and one who will give you an honest assessment. Going on strong reviews on yelp and google, I called to ask for help on water meter coupling replacement. He actually first declined the work saying that it should be the water company's responsibility which I agreed with and I went back and forth with the water company. Eventually, it turned out to be the homeowner's responsibility, so I called him back and he did the work in about an hour on a couple days' notice. He responds directly to texts on his phone and comes on time. Most importantly, there was no outrageous service fee to just take a look at the issue, just like it used to be. Call these guys and don't suffer through anymore bad haircuts.

Francisco came, as promised, to review a leak in our house 3rd floor ceiling. Diagnosed the issues. Didn't try to do extra work. Veronica, in the office, was very professional. I would highly recommend.

They did a great job with two of my problematic bathroom fixtures. On top of that, they stayed in contact via text, confirmed our appointment the day before, and arrived for the job on time. I would definitely use their services again and recommend them to anyone looking for quality plumbers.

Thank you Peter for you attention and concern for our drainage problem and for sending Pimento to remedy it!! Your company and representative technician pimento was what they call , the man for the job! As stated by satisfied customers on city wide website, my son and I can only affirm to be the most professional and efficient work conducted during our service call of clearing a clog in our drainage system. And as he cleaned up, leaving our residence the same as he came into, gave us advice as to prevent this from happening again! Thank you city wide for your optimum service in our area and for being the company we can truly count on!

Our well pump failed one morning a few days before Thanksgiving, I made a call and Joe and his assistant were at our property by early afternoon of the same day. The job was more complicated than expected and they had to leave for some time and obtain some additional parts. They returned later that afternoon and worked into the early evening in cold pouring rain. Joe was very professional and I give him very high marks for taking the time to explain what he was doing at each step of what was a complicated job. The quality of his work is excellent! I highly recommend!!!!

They did such a great job for me. Very quick response with a reasonable quote, followed by quickly submitting their insurance certificate to my condo association, so the work could be done that week. They did a beautiful job replacing the valves I needed replaced under my sink, and some of the piping too. They were true to their quote and didn't go over. A job well done, and I have recommended them to our condo community for anyone doing plumbing work.

Used Johnny twice for my plumbing problems already(both times sewer backed up). Love his reliability and fairness. The first time he came within a couple of hours and the second time he came within 30 minutes. He is professional and does a quick but good job. First time was $300(outside sewer backup problem) and second time $250. Both job prices, I thought were very fair.

I have nothing but good things to say about this plumbing company. They are easy to reach, even after hours, respond promptly and come prepared to do the work, i.e. I've never had them say, I'll have to come back I don't have the right part with me.
Today I had to replace the faucet assembly in the kitchen sink. They had tried to repair it (for a persistent leak in a joint) but that just wasn't possible.
The 'fun' started today when it turned out that even having purchased the exact same model the new assembly required a hole about a 16th of an inch larger than the old assembly. Most plumbers would have suggested a new sink or I need to come back another time with a different file, etc. Not a Dinkins' plumber, he worked on the installation (normally a 15 minute job) for over an hour until he got the hole enlarged just enough, had the faucet assembly secured and all working perfectly.
I would use this company any time for any plumbing problem.

If I could give them no stars I would. I live in a 7-unit coop building. Once of the apartments had a clog in their kitchen. I reached out to McManus since they were local. They said they would arrive in 2-days and rectify the issue and send me the diagnostics via email. They came on a Friday, just inspected then left. They made another appointment to return on a Tuesday with the tenant. By this point, I still had no report. Tuesday came and they didn't show up. On Thursday they return, State they are pulling out lards of grease from the sink and they still won't unclog the sink. Now saying it's a building wide issue. Mind you no one else in the building has any sort of backup/clog. They stated they would send me 3 different proposal options with prices. It's been almost a week and nothing. I'm not too sure what type of business they are running, but my encounter with them has been nothing but unprofessional.

These people rip you off, are impossible to get in touch with and answers from, and lie lie lie. They gave me an estimate, then charged me virtually double. And what's worse is quality of work is NOT what you pay for - mediocre at best. Look elsewhere. I don't see any pro's to using them.

Last night, my steam boiler started running rough and giving off an odd odor, something other than a natural gas smell. After another company failed to find the problem first thing this morning and told me my chimney was likely blocked, I called Ryan and Co. after verifying myself that the chimney was clear. They came within a few hours and advised that the boiler flue passages were clogged and needed a cleaning. A few hours later, everything is working great again. Fantastic service, super fast response time (can't tell you how many places didn't even call me back), and reasonable rates.

Contacted them when my pilot light was out. Mark came over, attempted to start the pilot multiple times, diagnosed that the valve that keeps the pilot on needed to be repaired. He also cleaned out the dust that built up in the furnace. The next day once I had my heat on, my radiators started leaking, the company sent Mark back and he drained the furnace and checked the valves, water feeder and other parts to make sure they were in good working order. Did not charge me. Their fee is $125 to come out, which gets applied to the job if you have work done.
