Best Water Heater Installation in Durham NC

Had Dylan, with Mo Flo Plumbing, install a new full bathroom in my basement, which included jack hammering some of the concrete slab in order to lay new plumbing lines for the toilet and tub.  Everything was done per code and City inspector even came out and approved his work.  This was a major job that spanned several weeks, due to multiple inspections at different stages, and every time Dylan was on time and aways professional with the inspectors.  We were also very pleased with his work and the wife is happy, which is all that matters in the end, lol.  His prices also seem to be fair and reasonable.  Not expensive but not dirt cheap.  My impression of Dylan is that he is sincerely a very nice guy and always strives to please the customer.  We will always call him back for future needs!

I highly recommend R & S Plumbing. I called Roman for a bathroom sink repair, and he gave me an estimate over the phone of what the repair would run. We set a time for him to do the work and he showed up on time. I like that he took his shoes off without my having to ask. After repairing the sink, he told me that my water pressure seemed way too high. He checked it out and found that I had a cracked pressure release valve and that my water pressure was 100+. He replaced the valve, set the water pressure to a safe level and actually came in UNDER his estimated price. First time that's ever happened to me! I will call Roman for all my plumbing needs.

I contacted Ronald in the late afternoon on 7/3/23 when we discovered that the shutoff valve on a toilet was leaking and subsequently discovered a drain leak under a sink in the same bathroom. Ronald answered my call and stated he could be at our house the next morning, July 4th no less, between 9-10 am. The next day, Ronald arrived on time and fixed both issues as well as replacing the tower in the toilet which also hadn't been working properly. The cost of the services performed was reasonable and the quality of the work was top notch. I plan to contact Ronald again in the near future to perform annual maintenance on our hot water heater. I just moved into a new house, and noticed there was a leaking pipe in the back, on the outside of the house. I contacted Eugene, and he sent someone over the very next day to take a look at it. Turns out, it was a water heater pressure issue. The gentleman that had come to do the job was Alex. He was very polite and knowledgeable. They got the job done within a couple of hours and fixed my annoying leaking pipe issue. The work he did was very thorough. Fair prices, but above all, customer service was great, both from Alex and Eugene. Definitely my go to company for waterheater/plumbing needs.

I would give them one star but they had previously replaced 3 trash disposal units for me professionally and without incident. My most recent experience with them, however, was quite different. My kitchen faucet, which is attached to a stainless steel sink, was leaking. Water splashed on the faucet base would drain between the faucet base and sink (there was no seal) and caused water to pool in the cabinet underneath. Not realizing how easy it is to replace a faucet, or that I could simply have sealed it with plumber's putty (as suggested by all the how-to videos and websites), I called JVG Plumbing.
The technician told me that I just needed to replace the faucet so I asked them to replace it with the same basic type faucet that was there before. He found one that looked very similar to the previous one and installed it without sealing the base (he said normally it wasn't necessary). The sink begins leaking almost immediately and I called them and they came out and sealed it for free. They used a caulk that requires 24 hours to dry. We used it too quickly, however, and the caulk dissolved in the water. I called them to get it sealed again and paid them since it was my own fault. They sealed it with a silicone caulk and this time I waited 24 hours before using the faucet.
The faucet started leaking again almost immediately. I starting looking online and found that faucets on stainless steel sinks should be sealed with plumber's putty. The putty never dries, so is ideal for fixtures that bend a little, such as stainless steel sinks. We also noticed after a week of use that the faucet handle was becoming more and more loose. Less than 2 weeks after they installed the faucet, I could swing the handle over half its range without changing the water temperature. If this had continued, the handle most likely would have fallen off after another week or two. I decided to purchase a faucet from Costco since the one they sold me seemed defective.
I called JVG back again and asked them to take out their defective faucet, install the one I had purchased and seal it with plumber's putty. The technician who came out just tightened the handle and said it was fixed. I asked if the handle became loose again if they would come every two weeks to tighten it and he said they could work something out to that regard. When I mentioned the leaking, he said I would need to replace the sink and that plumber's putty would not solve the problem. He also said that there should not be water near the faucet base, but who can wash vegetables or dishes without splashing a little water. I even asked if they can take out their defective faucet so that I could install the new faucet myself and they refused. Eventually the technician just walked out.
I ended up removing their faucet, which I found was misaligned and could have contributed to the leak. I installed the faucet I purchased from Costco and sealed it with plumber's putty. Its been two weeks since then and there has not been a single drop in the cabinet below.
In summary, JVG Plumbing sold me a defective faucet, did not seal it properly, and tried to convince me I needed a new sink. I paid them around $250 and ended up with a defective faucet I had to remove myself. The cost of replacing it myself, including the faucet, was around $80. I will not trust them to do any work for me again and waste more of my money and time. If you are going to call them to do plumbing work, make sure to do your own research to make sure they install  and seal everything correctly.

Got to my house within an hour of speaking with the dispatcher, got the sink unclogged and was on his way within 30 minutes. I'll always make sure to call Jordan Plumbing first. Mr. Jordan was efficient, thorough and personable.

I had a simple leaky toilet to fix. I contacted Jason via the Yelp Messaging function and he quickly reached back out to schedule a time for a free estimate. Scheduling was very smooth and he was very responsive. He also stated that no job was too small for him and that free estimate jobs are charged per hour.

The repairs were done very quickly and Jason made sure that I was happy with the work done. He was very professional with me the whole time, even when I had to change the time of the appointment last minute. Happy with the work and happy with the customer service here at Jayk's.

My 17-year-old water heater died and overflowed this morning, less than 3 hours from my call we have a new tank installed!  Wow.  Very professional and fair, great experience!

Long story short.  Had toilet back flowing into shower.  Blantons sent out Justin H . And he did an outstanding job.  Was professional. Courteous and very thorough.   Found my issue and fixed it for a reasonable price --less than I thought it would be. Overall an excellent experience.  Would highly recommend blantons.  
They literally had me over a barrel and could have taken advantage and they didn't.  I know nothing about plumbing.  And now I don't need to know bcuz I have blantons on my side and I have confidence they will do me right.   Will be using them to replace my heating /air system this fall.  Thanks blantons. Y'all are awesome.

I paid over $200 to have kitchen faucet repaired. It was not fixed . It was actually made worse and broke off in my hand just couple hours after service. Unbelievably they took no responsibility and wanted to charge me to install another faucet that I provided. Use at your own risk .

They have been to the house on 3 occasions to work and only had the correct equipment one time.

Said one thing, arrived and something said else with a new cost was the issue.

Will not use them anymore.

They got here and gave me a quote that's unreasonably high. Although I have communicated my issue clearly beforehand and they should be able to give me a quote without having to be here. In the end I had to pay for the dispatch fee while fixing the issue myself. Genuinely bad experience, feels like a trap.
