I had asked that the water heater control valve needs to be replaced on a PowerVent Rheem. He quoted me $150 and said it will take 2 hours. He came early with a huge attitude and claimed the heater was different than I had said and then said it will take really 2 hours and the price was going to be $400. I don't think Roman is all that the reviewers here are saying it to be. I will choose a different plumber.

Rob is wonderful!  I called him and he was able to get me in right away.  He fixed the spigot on our washer quickly and now it is better than ever.  We will definitely use him again for our plumbing needs.

Roman came highly recommended by a co-worker and didn't disappoint. He knows what he's doing, he charges a fair price, and is the consummate professional. I won't hesitate to recommend him to others or to call him again for future plumbing needs.

They installed our hot water heater almost 12 years ago and it was a great experience then. Almost 12 years later, when the hot water heater that they installed finally but the dust, they were reasonable and available and did a great job. I got 4 or 5 competing quotes and they were the most reasonable and easily, the best deal. No flim flam because they thought we were in a tight spot, just honest, good work.

Roman and Robert came to the rescue at 7 am! They worked till 3 never taking a break. They were kind, honest, hardworking, and funny.  Their prices were very reasonable especially in light of all the hard work they put in on just a moments notice. Highly recommend R&S Plumbing!

I contacted R&S for 3 different needs - replace a toilet, repair a garbage disposal and repair a cold water leak in the hot water heater.

Rob showed up on the date and time agreed.  He was very nice, efficient and well prepared.  He brought a good quality toilet with him, at a fair price.  He quickly replaced the broken one.

The hot water heater issue was described as an over-pressure situation. Rob replaced a value under the house and a value (damaged by the over pressure) on the HW heater.  Good explanation, no up-sell.  

The garbage disposal was a simple (for him) remove a piece of metal jammed in the blade. Again, no up-sell.

My wife is very happy with the results and, to me, the price was right.

Will use again and recommend them to anyone in the Cary area.

I called them after a bad weekend when my friends left a shot glass in the sink which went down the garbage disposal and I had no idea and I turned it on after doing the dishes :( Long story short, I had sharp glass pieces in a garbage disposal which was not going to work for me long term.
They showed up within 24 hours, replaced the garbage disposal for $245 and I wrote them a check for the service. They gave me warranty information and were gone within minutes. Thank you Roman :)

Roman and his son are top-notch plumbing professionals! This was my second time having him (Roman) service our plumbing needs and am thrilled with his experience/knowledge. He is fair in pricing and honest and straight forward about the repairs needed. He never tries to sell/fix something that truly doesn't need to be repaired. I trust him-enough said.

Roman and Robert are the guys you want to call if you need a plumber.  I called Roman and explained my issue; the first thing he tried to do was tell me how to fix it myself over the phone.  This is a class act, most contractors try to squeeze you for every dime, but Roman tried to teach me 1st.  I could not figure out how to fix it, so he came over the next day and went to work.  Price was fair and service was quick.

I had decided to have an additional outside faucet (hose bib) installed, opposite my kitchen sink.  After looking at a number of plumbers in the area, and getting a few quotes, I went with R&S Plumbing (owner's name is Roman).  

Roman arrived on time (actually, early...but called first to check if that was OK), was very nice and professional, and quickly got to work.  

I was shocked that in roughly an hour's time, the new outside faucet was installed, exactly as I'd wanted it.  He even made a point to route the new pipe under the sink so that it wouldn't be in the way of storage (as much as possible).  

In short, believe the good reviews.  Roman does great work at a very fair price (less than most), and is a nice guy, too.  If I need plumbing work again, I'll become a repeat customer for certain.

I spoke with Robert, Roman's son, about a problem I was having with sulfur smells emanating from my upstairs bathroom. Being clueless about plumbing (this is my first home) I called R&S plumbing based upon many favorable online reviews.

Robert immediately diagnosed the problem and the solution was so simple that I easily did it on my own. Robert could have gouged me for a needless housecall but he did not. You can bet that when I really do need a plumber, I will be calling on R&S Plumbing. Such honesty is rare nowadays and I greatly appreciate it. Thank you again, Robert!

Business has been taken over by Rob, the son of former owner.  He works on his own now.

We had him in to replace our main water shut off valve inside the house and also to replace our PRV valve.  He arrived on time and couldn't of been more professional and friendly.  He finished the job promptly and we were charged as was quoted.  He uses an online Quickbooks invoice system that is quite smart (in my opinion).

He pointed out that our tankless water heater needed to be flushed on a regular basis.  We had no idea.  Will be calling him back to do that in a few weeks.  Do not hesitate to call Rob for any of your plumbing needs.  He will treat you like you are his only client at the time he is at your house.

Won't use again. I called them back the day after their service to let them know that the toilet was still not functioning properly. Without going into all of the details, suffice it to say that his response came with a big attitude. He said that I had called about a leaking toilet, which he fixed, and that I did not call about it not flushing properly. In exasperation, I stated that I called because the toilet was not working properly and was leaking and I had expected a functioning toilet after the $150 repairs.
He very condescendingly said he didn't know what else I wanted him to do and that I should probably just get a new toilet.  Admittedly, I haven't found any plumbers in the area who seem to be able to fix simple problems. His cocky, rude attitude was more of an issue than anything else.
P.S. I just googled my problem... And fixed it myself. It's working properly now.

We have used R&S Plumbing for years. The owner Roman installed our sink, garbage disposal, and shower a few years ago. Today he installed a new kitchen faucet , installed a new toilet and replaced the washing machine connections that were corroded. Now my steam dryer is connected and if my washer goes out I can actually remove the hoses from the wall.

Roman is honest and gets the work done efficiently. We will be calling him again soon for a new water heater and some other related issues. I cannot say enough what a wonderful decision it is to use R&S Plumbing.

We've used Roman several times for issues in our home.  He is always available and is prompt, efficient, and his rates are extremely reasonable.  We highly recommend him if you're looking for a great, professional plumber without busting your budget!  He also stands by his work which is top-notch.

Robert has picked up his dad's business and is running strong with it!  He has replaced faucets, repaired toilets and replaced our water heater.  He always returns calls, is polite, shows up when he says he will, and does excellent work!  He cleans up the job site and is an all around great plumber!

Rob was great!  He took the time to listen to and address all of my plumbing concerns.  He also took the time to explain some things to me that I definitely would not have known otherwise.  He was professional, prompt and budget-friendly.  The first quote I got was more than double the price he gave me - which made a lot more sense than the first.  Trust me, I've had some experience with some bad apples in the home repair field!

I highly recommend R & S Plumbing. I called Roman for a bathroom sink repair, and he gave me an estimate over the phone of what the repair would run. We set a time for him to do the work and he showed up on time. I like that he took his shoes off without my having to ask. After repairing the sink, he told me that my water pressure seemed way too high. He checked it out and found that I had a cracked pressure release valve and that my water pressure was 100+. He replaced the valve, set the water pressure to a safe level and actually came in UNDER his estimated price. First time that's ever happened to me! I will call Roman for all my plumbing needs.
