Established in 2004.
Legacy Plumbing is a 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 Angie's List Super Service Award winner, and we also have an A+ Rating with the Better Business Bureau. We are a fully licensed Raleigh Plumbing company, specializing in: Plumbing Repairs, Water Filtration and Conditioning, Residential and Commercial Plumbing, Tankless Water Heaters, and Sewer Drain Line Cleaning & Inspections, Backflow Valve Testing, fixture replacement and lot's more. Jamie Dickenson founded the company with the goal of providing the best possible Residential and Commercial plumbing service, at an affordable price. ABOUT BUSINESS OWNER

Jamie Dickenson was born and raised in Raleigh. He enjoys cooking, outdoor grilling and spending time at the beach with family. Jamie always enjoyed fixing things around the house growing up, especially plumbing items. Jamie learned Residential plumbing at a small local company and commercial plumbing at a larger local company. Jamie decided to get his plumbing license in the early 2000's to start plumbing for his friends and family. Doing quality plumbing caused his business to grow into what it is today. He stresses quality with all his Plumbers as well. The Legacy motto is It's All About The Service!

Legacy Plumbing is great to work with. They're knowledgable, caring, and careful. We needed a part replaced in our master shower. Booties were put on and wiped off when they got wet from the shower floor. They deserve not 5 but 10 stars!

I dealt with Quintin when he was with another company. When I called them to schedule to have him come out to fix a problem, they said he had left a while ago. Thanks to Google I was able to locate him at Legacy Plumbing and couldn't be happier tthat we get to keep our trusted plumber!

Update April 2015: Made a firm 9 a.m. appointment to have Quintin come and do some previously discussed work. About 5 minutes after our appointment time, I received a call from Quintin stating he had a job he had to finish and asked if he could send another technician. I wasn't happy but agreed since I had blocked time from my job. The tech called about 20 minutes later stating he was doing an estimate and would be here around 10:30. At 11 a.m. I called Jamie to cancel my service. Life is busy and I carved out time for Quitin to do the work. That time was time that I could have been working myself. I believe these guys are competent and I liked working with Quitin over the years - but it's clear they do not value MY time. Further, if there was a job that had to be finished I should have been notified long before I actually was. Probably my disappointment is is exacerbated by the fact that my hopes were high for this company.

Called Legacy Plumbing to ask if they could help us with a plumbing issue. We were not even given the opportunity to explain the issue and were told very curtly, We are not going to be able to help you sir, call someone else. Wow, talk about a bad first impression! I would not recommend this company at all! Still in shock at their lack of professionalism!

I made an appointment for tomorrow, but on the phone told the operator that today would be preferable if possible. An hour later, Quintin called me and said he was on his way. Quintin was great! He showed up with all the parts needed to repair my shower and toilet, and even let me see how the fixes were done. Great service, fast response time... I couldn't be more pleased.

Awesome Service, I will use these guys again for sure! Nester came out and replaced 2 bathroom fixtures and a shower faucet that was poorly installed when the house was built. He fixed it all for a very reasonable rate.

Last night, my washing machine overflowed; there was water everywhere and it was coming up from underneath the floorboards. My insurance company advised me to call a plumber and figure out the problem. I called Legacy plumbing after reading some Yelp reviews. I called and from the first moment I was treated courteously and received a lot of help. I spoke with Dave and he recommended I call a restoration company because he didn't think it sounded like a plumbing problem and he didn't want me to waste my money. He recommended CareMaster Restoration. Dave was correct, it was an appliance malfunction not a plumbing issue. I always appreciate when a company puts what is in the customer's best interest above profit. The restoration company they referred me to was fantastic. They came to my house within the hour. My floors and crawl space are full of water, so, there is major damage, but I am grateful that I don't have an unnecessary plumbing bill on top of that. I now consider Legacy my plumbing company, even though I have not actually used them for a plumbing issue. They get an A+ for customer service.

I've called on Legacy Plumbing on two separate occasions and I've been very pleased. They charge by the hour which made me a little nervous. However, after obtaining two other quotes to install a kitchen faucet, they were the most economical. They are knowledgeable, respectful, and economical. I honestly can't say enough kind things about them.

Ever single step and interaction with Legacy was textbook. From initial contact via phone, getting an appointment, plumber calling while on the way (and on time), professional appearance, professional work van, professional attitude... to fixing my problem quickly and doing so for a very affordable and less than expected price.

I even tagged along with the plumber to observe and learn as he replaced a pressure reduction valve under my house. He didn't mind, and was helpful in explaining what he did.

Top Notch!
I noticed my water heating leaking on a Friday evening. I sent an email to Legacy Plumbing at 7:04pm with my name, address, and general description of the issue. I received an email from Jamie, owner of the company at 7:36pm. Jamie explained that although they are technically overbooked for the weekend, he would see what he can do to squeeze me into their schedule. The following morning, I received a phone call from Jamie at 8:47am and told me that Shaun would be out this afternoon between Noon and 2pm. Excellent! Shaun called be at 12:05pm and said he was on the way, will arrive in 45 minutes.

Upon arrival I noticed their professional truck. Shaun introduced himself and I led him to the water heater. It turns out the water heater wasn't leaking, it was just a fitting on the water lines going into the top of the water heater. Shaun went out to his truck and returned with a handful of various pipes and fittings. Shaun was very professional and it was obvious he knew exactly what he was doing. He made the repair right away. I was very impressed that they accept credit cards electronically onsite with an instant emailed receipt - very cool. The price was very reasonable, actually less than I figured it would cost.

Legacy Plumbing just blew me away. Despite contacting them after hours on Friday night...the company President responded to my email right away, and then he personally called me the following morning to schedule the visit. I cannot possibly be more happy. Hats Off Gentlemen!

Had Legacy come out and install a new hose bib aka outdoor faucet... Was able to get them scheduled very easily and they were extremely timely.

We were not home when they did the work, looking at the work they did a very nice job...

They were very reasonable price wise as well...

Had an extreme dripping problem in my shower. A gallon of water in less then a couple hours! My husband found legacy pluming from Angie's list and asked for someone to come. A gentleman arrived the next day. He replaced the washer and explained since my home is so old with old valves. Those need to be replaced eventually. Then said NO CHARGE for replacing the washer!!! I asked him just to make sure are you sure there is no charge? The kind man said no mam...no charge at all. Just call us when you are ready to replace the old valves. Having pluming issues during the upcoming holidays while trying to keep a budget for Christmas...this was an awesome early gift! he said there IS a little drip but as I went back to check, I couldn't tell. When tax refund comes, definitely going to call them back. Not for the free service but for honest, quality and great customer care.

I have had a history of bad plumbing experiences living in the old condo I live in. I had a plumber, Shaun, from Legacy come to my condo to look at two different plumbing issues I had with two different toilets. He quickly diagnosed the issues and repaired both toilets for little over a $100 (including parts). One of the toilets had an issue that many plumbers just wrote off as bad pipes or a larger issue that would have cost a lot more time/money. I was impressed that Shaun was able to diagnose and repair the problem so quickly and I was happy that it didn't take much time or money on my part.

I highly recommend this company.

Most plumbing companies are not on par with Legacy. For several years I have had them do all my plumbing and each person I speak with or meet or have doing a repair is exceptionally professional and pleasant. The plumbers always call when they are heading to the house.

Recently, a home repair required a special pump and took longer than anticipated since it involved digging beside the house. Not only did the plumber stay until past 7pm to get everything 100%, the company owner drove over to help get my problem fixed that same day. Best service in town!

So impressed with Legacy Plumbing Company. When water was leaking into my laundry room from the water heater located in my attic, this group was my second call. After my experience with them today, they'll be my first call from now on. A friendly, competent actual human being picked up my call, took my information and assured me that a technician would be out to my home the same day, gave me a reasonable window to expect them and let me know that there would be a call ahead of time. When Willie showed up, he was masked and showed great care and respect for my home. He was efficient, kind and took the time to explain the situation to me. Upon delivering the tough news that I did, in fact, need a new water heater, he was able to get me an estimate for a new one and a next day appointment for installation in one phone call. I can't say enough good things about Legacy and will definitely call them again!

Update: Day 2 of my water heater saga. Legacy Plumbing Company continues to impress. Guys call ahead and show up exactly when they say they will. Friendly, thorough, efficient and quick!! Water heater perfectly installed with no hiccups.

My pipes are old, darn it. Band-aids won't hold some of those suckers together anymore. Not Wednesday, that's for sure. Came home to a cabinet full of water under the kitchen sink. Yuck.

The next day, faced with the scary task of finding a plumber to call, I called, well, Mom. Yes, the one who has had a lot of experience over the years with such. She HIGHLY recommended this plumber and let me tell you. Mom was so RIGHT.

Phone experience: so warm and understanding. Despite them being booked, she managed to have a plumber to us within a couple hours. Seriously. Husband met him and was super impressed. As he emailed me: those pipes aren't going anywhere.

As if all that wasn't good enough, the price was less than $130!

Immediately following the repair and payment, I received an email receipt.

You need a plumber you can TRUST? Who won't rip you off? Yes, we did too and we got it!

We had several plumbers over to our house to quote a bathroom renovation and was either turned down (by 2) or given an outrageous quote. Legacy came in gave a fair estimate and had the job done in a professional and timely manner. I can't say enough good things about these guys. After dealing with many repair companies recently and bad customer service or incompetent people, Legacy Plumbing gave me hope that there are great companies still out there! What a great company with real people and amazing customer service. Last week, the Monday before the first snow storm, I smelled gas in my garage coming from the water heater. After PSNC diagnosed the leak and shut it off , a friend referred me to Jamie @ Legacy Plumbing. ,
He answered the phone! and had Joe here in 35 minutes to drain the old water heater. They found a new water heater for me, had it here in 1.5 hours and it was installed and working by 6:15 pm. Joe worked tirelessly even though the ice was coming and roads were getting dangerous.
My new water heater works beautifully, their price was extremely fair. Legacy Plumbing will be my go-to plumbing company from here on!
