Hebert Plumbing Company Plumbing Service
Great guy and very helpful! Told me how to fix the leak under my kitchen sink over the phone in about 2 minutes. No charge. Now of course I am giving this review having not actually had any on site work done. So keep that in mind but I will give them my business in the future if needed.

Legacy Plumbing Company Plumbing Service
My pipes are old, darn it.  Band-aids won't hold some of those suckers together anymore.  Not Wednesday, that's for sure.  Came home to a cabinet full of water under the kitchen sink.  Yuck.

The next day, faced with the scary task of finding a plumber to call, I called, well,  Mom.  Yes, the one who has had a lot of experience over the years with such.  She HIGHLY recommended this plumber and let me tell you.  Mom was so RIGHT.

Phone experience:  so warm and understanding.  Despite them being booked, she managed to have a plumber to us within a couple hours.  Seriously.  Husband met him and was super impressed.  As he emailed me:  those pipes aren't going anywhere.

As if all that wasn't good enough, the price was less than $130!

Immediately following the repair and payment, I received an email receipt.

You need a plumber you can TRUST?  Who won't rip you off?  Yes, we did too and we got it!

Thank you Legacy folks!

Jeff has done a lot of work for me at two different houses in Cary, NC. He's very reliable, affordable and trustworthy. in addition, he is a lot of fun to work with! His specialty is replacing polybutylene pipe but he can do anything related to plumbing. I'd recommend him without reservation.

I don't see a way to add a photo to this review but I have a nice one of Jeff laughing...his natural state. I invited him and his wife to a party I had. That's how much I like him!

Will and Zachary were communicative and professional. They gave us two quotes to choose from based on the work before performing the services. Zachary was even sweet with our kittyboy, Mork! Great installation, and the cost matched our expectations. Thanks, y'all!

Full Stack Plumbing Pittsboro Plumbing Service
It's no longer a pipe dream; Pittsboro finally has a plumber!

The first time I had a plumbing problem, I had to bring in a plumber from Moncure. Locating someone to come in was very draining. Thankfully, Full Stack Plumbing is here to flush away those pesky plumbing problems.

They're currently located in the old Chevrolet building next to Aromatic Roasters and Cackalacky.

They take care of leaks, hot water tank installation, tankless heaters, drain problems & more.

Business has been taken over by Rob, the son of former owner.  He works on his own now.

We had him in to replace our main water shut off valve inside the house and also to replace our PRV valve.  He arrived on time and couldn't of been more professional and friendly.  He finished the job promptly and we were charged as was quoted.  He uses an online Quickbooks invoice system that is quite smart (in my opinion).

He pointed out that our tankless water heater needed to be flushed on a regular basis.  We had no idea.  Will be calling him back to do that in a few weeks.  Do not hesitate to call Rob for any of your plumbing needs.  He will treat you like you are his only client at the time he is at your house.

JVG Plumbing Plumbing Service
I would give them one star but they had previously replaced 3 trash disposal units for me professionally and without incident. My most recent experience with them, however, was quite different. My kitchen faucet, which is attached to a stainless steel sink, was leaking. Water splashed on the faucet base would drain between the faucet base and sink (there was no seal) and caused water to pool in the cabinet underneath. Not realizing how easy it is to replace a faucet, or that I could simply have sealed it with plumber's putty (as suggested by all the how-to videos and websites), I called JVG Plumbing.
The technician told me that I just needed to replace the faucet so I asked them to replace it with the same basic type faucet that was there before. He found one that looked very similar to the previous one and installed it without sealing the base (he said normally it wasn't necessary). The sink begins leaking almost immediately and I called them and they came out and sealed it for free. They used a caulk that requires 24 hours to dry. We used it too quickly, however, and the caulk dissolved in the water. I called them to get it sealed again and paid them since it was my own fault. They sealed it with a silicone caulk and this time I waited 24 hours before using the faucet.
The faucet started leaking again almost immediately. I starting looking online and found that faucets on stainless steel sinks should be sealed with plumber's putty. The putty never dries, so is ideal for fixtures that bend a little, such as stainless steel sinks. We also noticed after a week of use that the faucet handle was becoming more and more loose. Less than 2 weeks after they installed the faucet, I could swing the handle over half its range without changing the water temperature. If this had continued, the handle most likely would have fallen off after another week or two. I decided to purchase a faucet from Costco since the one they sold me seemed defective.
I called JVG back again and asked them to take out their defective faucet, install the one I had purchased and seal it with plumber's putty. The technician who came out just tightened the handle and said it was fixed. I asked if the handle became loose again if they would come every two weeks to tighten it and he said they could work something out to that regard. When I mentioned the leaking, he said I would need to replace the sink and that plumber's putty would not solve the problem. He also said that there should not be water near the faucet base, but who can wash vegetables or dishes without splashing a little water. I even asked if they can take out their defective faucet so that I could install the new faucet myself and they refused. Eventually the technician just walked out.
I ended up removing their faucet, which I found was misaligned and could have contributed to the leak. I installed the faucet I purchased from Costco and sealed it with plumber's putty. Its been two weeks since then and there has not been a single drop in the cabinet below.
In summary, JVG Plumbing sold me a defective faucet, did not seal it properly, and tried to convince me I needed a new sink. I paid them around $250 and ended up with a defective faucet I had to remove myself. The cost of replacing it myself, including the faucet, was around $80. I will not trust them to do any work for me again and waste more of my money and time. If you are going to call them to do plumbing work, make sure to do your own research to make sure they install  and seal everything correctly.

Progressive Plumbing Plumbing Service
Thanks to their inept installers of a new dishwasher, the water inlet compression fitting popped off resulting in hot water flooding my kitchen, dining area, and HVAC system for 4 hours. This resulted in warpage of my hardwood floors and flooding of the HVAC ducts under the house. Their HVAC people responded in 3 days and replaced the ducts and HVAC distributor, but not without me having to get nasty. As for the rest of the damage, it was like pulling teeth to get them to respond and do something. A month and a half later we've finally settled, though my Summer is now ruined as I must go through the hassle of getting my hardwoods replaced and being evicted from our house for a week. Ended up canceling our trip to Florida and Virginia. Had they responded more responsibly I wouldn't be so negative, but no, they made me jump through hoops and be vigilant in calling them to get something done. They actually sent me a $1700 bill for the HVAC repairs! If you buy an appliance from Lowe's, beware of Progressive Services as they are Lowe's approved professional installers.

Dr Drain Plumbing Plumbing Service
We've used Dr. Drain on several occasions. (We have an old house that requires a lot of attention.) Ted is very professional, in my opinion. He's quick to respond and very efficient. Most importantly, he's honest: he's told me when a repair isn't worthwhile, and he's explained how to do some small repairs on my own. I'm quite satisfied, and I'm a repeat customer.

Price Point Plumbing Plumbing Service
From the initial phone call to set up an appointment to the repair at our home, my experience with Price Point Plumbing was better than any other experience that I've had with anyone in this field. They were prompt, professional, fair and friendly. A standout exception! I HIGHLY recommend this business!

Rapid Repair Experts Plumbing Service
I'll try to summarize but apologies for the length of this review:  A month ago my furnace broke on a cold Sat night.  I used Nextdoor and found/called Rapid Repair. They responded quickly and came out around 11pm the same night.  So far, 5-stars.  But then:  The tech said that either my gas valve or control board was bad.  He gave me an estimate of $4-500 if it was the valve and $8-900 if the control board needed changing.  He couldn't fix it that night and said he'd call me mid-day Mon with a firm price (once they verified the part and price).

As of the writing of this review, 4 weeks since their Sat-night visit, they have yet to call or email me back.  Not one follow up.  Nothing. As far as they know my furnace is still broken.

With a little research I was able to purchase the valve on Amazon for $70 and replace it myself in about 30min, and when that didn't fix things I was able to purchase the control board for $270 and replace it myself in about 30min.  So, basically, if I let them, they would have charged me $1,200-$1,400 for about $350 parts and one hour labor.

I'm ok with people making a living but that's insane.  But what's even crazier is that they never even contacted me after making their $139 for the Sat emergency call.  I waited weeks to do this review and I've still never heard from them.  Do they ever do any actual repairs or make their entire living on emergency calls and diagnostics?  I have to wonder.

In summary: I'm shocked for a few reasons.  They were highly recommended so I'm shocked at the complete lack of follow up, especially after the initial quick response.  But I'm just as shocked with the price they quoted considering what I was able to do myself for a fraction of their quote (which I do have in writing).  Shame on them and no, I would not recommend them or trust them for any work.

Blanton's Air, Plumbing, & Electric Plumbing Service
Jason Hogg, the technician came out to my house on a Saturday to put in a shower/tub faucet. He had to cap off the pipes so he could come back to do the install on Monday. He scheduled the appointment and told me he would be back on Monday at 10am. I called Monday at 8am to ask for a detailed bill,  which by the way they do NOT provide. They told me I didn't have an appointment. Turns out someone didn't do their job I was not on the list. Long story short, no plumber ever came to fix my shower. Cody and Brandon the dispatchers did not follow-up with me to let me know they were late and may not be able to come. Finally at 5:15 I called them back again and was told no one would be coming. And they do NOT schedule a time for arrival for a service call.
The one star is for the amazing ladies who answer the phones!

If i could put 0 starts I would.  This company took on a plumbing job they were not equipped to handle.  The basically took $5000 on a contract and did not complete the job and would not refund the difference because they stated it was a contract....not mentioning it took them from Oct to the end of January to complete they work they did.   Then they were short on manpower to complete the job

Horrible experience. Completely misdiagnosed the drain problem. Then they had the audacity to send me an estimate for work not needed--nearly $3,000! I asked for a second opinion and, sure enough, it was a simple fix which was taken care of on the spot. Be aware.
