Progressive Service Company has been serving the triangle area for over 30 years. My Father Tony Woodall established the company in 1983. In 1998 I joined the company as a full time employee. On May 11th 2008 my Father unexpectedly passed away. He laid a wonderful foundation for me. I have been actively running Progressive since 2008 and it has been such a great journey so far. I truly enjoy getting up every day and going to work. I love working hand in hand with my wonderful employees to help solve customers problems. As the owner of Progressive I have made it my mission to ensure that we provide our customers with high-quality and reliable services at competitive rates. We want to be the main source for all your plumbing, hvac and electrical service needs-present and future.

Came home the other day to find that a pipe had burst due to the cold weather. Had actually called a few other plumbing services and was denied service because they were too busy to come over. Progressive was very friendly when I called and sent a guy over within an hour.  Steve, the plumber, was great and answered all my questions while also giving me tips on dealing with the insurance company. He fixed the pipe and was on his way.  

I'm giving them 5 stars because they went above and beyond in being helpful, but if I could, I would maybe give 4.5 stars because they are rather expensive. Feel like I got what I paid for.

I would like to thank Melissa Davenport for all her help with Progressive.  She has helped me with two real emergencies.  She is wonderful.

Also, Lisa was great yesterday in getting a technician out to put in a new hot water tank.  I had a lot of water on the floor.

Justin was here really fast and worked really hard installing the tank.  He is such a professional employee.

Also, this morning, Monday, Chad replaced a circuit breaker and did an excellent job.  He was in and out really fast, but did a great job.

Progressive is so lucky to have the quality employees that you have.

I will always use Progressive.

This is to compliment Kevin C.; he installed our new appliances.  He was pleasant, professional, and very capable.  Kevin was considerate of our furniture and carpets on a rainy day and even unboxed a new griddle to go with my stove.  He is the best!  He was assisted by Jose G. who impressed us with his professionalism, super pleasant personality, and helpfulness.  A great experience all around.  Highly recommend when purchasing appliances from Lowe's.

I had a recent AC Heater installation and had a couple of issues with the Wi-Fi thermostat. Alex was the technician that assisted me and he did a great job and answered my questions and explained how the thermostat works and went the extra step and set up the unit so I was able to utilize all the features of the Honeywell 9000.

Zero reason to use this company. No training, employees sleeping with each other, and complete and utter chaos as an organization. Their HR department is a JOKE! I'm telling you, don't waste your time with this laughable business.

Progressive was called as secondary help for dishwasher repair called into my home warranty company. About 30 minutes before he arrived, I discovered puddles of water in my hall closet - significant leak had occurred. Tim O. didn't hesitate to address both, even dealt with the home warranty company to authorize on-the-spot, and called in the Progressive restoration team to assess/handle damages. He then went to work, fixed all identified leaks and showed me where/why pipe leak occurred. Amen to being able to turn on the water same day leak identified (the leak a pipe was leading to the main valve for the house).

Throughout it all Tim remained courteous, professional, and kept me informed of what was going on - overall he saved me a whole load of headaches. Will call Progressive anytime, they deliver.

Extraordinary service! My landlord contacted them this morning. They called to arrange with me and sent someone immediately. They sent me an email with a picture of the technician I should be expecting and called me 30 minutes prior to their arrival to let me know they were on their way. He arrived, inspected the unit, went to get the part needed, came back, did the repair and was done before 3pm! I'm absolutely stunned!

Our installer, Mike Patterson, went above and beyond in getting our dishwasher installed before our company arrived for the holidays.  He called when he was running late due to issues earlier in the day.  He called again in the evening when the dishwasher he was installing failed and he was  not going to be able to pick up my dishwasher to install before the store closed.  He promised me he would be at the store to pick up my unit when the store opened if I could be available that early.  He showed up first thing in the morning as promised and was incredibly professional, knowledgable, and personable.  I could not have asked for a better person to work with.

Called for a problem.of water damage' Chris the plumber was not tsaking no kind of responsibility in any damages that may accur in the opening of the walls etc  gave me.the impression  he didn't  know what he was going to do. He charged for the call $60.00 and doint nothing and also got very rude and sarcastic.  Will not recomend this company

Hot Water Heater Issue- I called this company to come and figure out why my water heater wasn't working.  The technician couldn't figure it out and since they were going to charge anyway flipped the breaker on and stripped some wires and replaced the wire nuts even though there was nothing wrong with them.  Days later water heater again is not working and I check the wires he touched and they sparked and smoke came flying out.  Called them again and get yelled at by the technician that it's my fault.  Horrible horrible experience! !  Then they send someone else out to see if something was done wrong, and they looked for a way to charge me again.

Charges $60 to come out for an estimate. It's refundable if you decide to take their quote. Sorry, but if you're taking new customers you need to give free quotes. I'll move forward with another company for the work I need done.

Progressive has done work for me in the past both electrical and plumbing. Their office staff are exceptionally pleasant. Their response time is on par with most. Better than some, not as good as others. I have had difficulty with the quality of work from the plumbing division on two different occasions. The technicians are friendly and courteous.

I was satisfied with the actual work itself and the plumber (Bill U) was wonderful.  I did think it was a little overpriced to charge an additional $185 to cut my pipe to fit my new sink when that should have been part of the original price of unhooking the old sink and hooking it back up.  The major problem I had was with the customer service dispatcher, Candy L.  She was terrible!!!  My job was contracted through Home Depot and she never called me to schedule a time for the plumber to come out to unhook my water before my countertops were to be installed.  My countertops were scheduled to be installed on Monday.  I called HD the Wed before and they said Candy said she would call me on Thur to set up a time.  I never heard from Candy.  Monday morning, I called HD again.  They checked with Candy and she said they were scheduled to come out that morning.  They finally did show up unhook the pipes.  Once the countertops were installed, they had to wait 24 hours before they could come back and hook the water back up.  I asked the plumber (Bill) if he could come as early as possible on Wed and he said he didn't know if he would be the same person to come back out but he would ask Candy to give me a call to set up a time.  Well, I never heard from Candy.  I looked up the number online and called to check.  I was transferred to someone named Candace who stated she was not the right person.  She said she would go check with Candy and let me know.  She came back to the phone and said Candy said I was scheduled for Wed morning.  I asked what time, she said around 9am.  I asked it she was available to speak with me and she said no, she was on another line.  I left my name and number and asked her to call me back.  Again, I never heard from Candy.  Therefore, I went in to work early that morning and had planned to come back home around 9am to meet the plumber.  At 6:30am, my husband called me and said the plumber called and said he will be there at 7am.  I told him Candy told me he was coming at 9am.  Bill was able to switch his appointments around to come around 9:30 but dealing with Candy was horrible.  I never once spoke to her to schedule anything!  How can you be a dispatcher and never communicate with the customer? Based on Candy alone, I would not recommend this company to anyone!

I give them a thumbs down for charging $59 to come out and give an estimate only on replacing a water heater for a tankless.  Furthermore, at certain times of the day that fee is 'waivable' and at other times it is not.  The representative couldn't defend the policy; she was only able to state it.  This is not a service call and I don't believe in paying them to drum up business.  I won't do business with them and would have given no stars if possible.

Cody N. came by to install our new dishwasher. It's an old house, so we've got a tangle of copper pipes under the sink. Cody spent a good long while trying to figure that mess out, calling other people in the company, even getting on Facetime with them from our kitchen, trying to figure out the best way to fix it all. He finally did figure out a way to get it to work...but then he unloaded the dishwasher from his truck only to discover that Lowe's had sent us a damaged one. He said they would reschedule, but asked that he be allowed to be the one to install it....which just topped it for me. He put the work into figuring out the problem, and wanted to be there to implement it.

David was the best installer/electrician we've ever had.   He is conscientious, thorough, and careful, and he is friendly and an excellent communicator.   He really made us feel like important customers.  We hope to see him again.  HIGHLY RECOMMENDED (and thanks to Progressive).  Home Depot is lucky to use Progressive for its appliance installations, and Progressive is lucky to have David.

Michael M with Progressive was fantastic! I had received a new microwave through my home warranty company and after 2 months, they refused to install it because there was tile behind my microwave and the companies they contract with would not drill through tile. Seems odd that is even an issue. I cant be the only one with tile behind my microwave. Progressive was able to fit me in quickly, understood my frustration and assured me they would be able to help. Michael was courteous, efficient and did impeccable work. I wish I had just called Progressive to begin with!! Thanks, Michael!

All our interactions with Progressive have been very positive. They sent a plumber out to cut off our water before Home Depot put in new kitchen counters. The scheduling people were pleasant and easy to work with. The plumber came exactly on schedule, did a thorough job very neatly and answered all questions clearly. We hope they send out the same plumber to hook us back up.

Telephone customer service - a bit rude.  Service guys were very nice BUT after 2 visits failed to diagnose the problem with my water heater.  Second opinion and several hundred dollars later noted that it was a simple leak and water heater just needed replaced under warranty.  I spent almost a month with variable, if any, hot water and a lot of money trusting their diagnosis of the problem.  Would NOT recommend.

A senior electrician came and measured everything and he noted that I would need a HVAC person as duct needed to be installed. After this they submitted to Home Depot that the installation would be at 95$. So I submitted additional 30$ after the initial 69$ that I paid Upfront to home Depot for the work to start.

Then the electricians came and said they were not informed vent had to be installed and they cannot  take up the job since a vent and duct needs to be installed first and the company would submit a new quote to Home Depot.  After this Progressive submitted a quote of additional 465$ for finishing the vent and duct work.

At this point I just lost faith in this company and Home depot, both were trying to run a scam on me. I hired a general contractor who installed both the hood and vent with duct for 125$.

I am disputing both the 69$ and 30$ with my credit card company as no service was provided only a tonne of notes were taken and even that was not properly communicated.

We had a new dishwasher installed by Progressive Service Company which was subcontracted through a purchase we made at Lowes.  I'm not sure how the company does with other services but have heard they are on the high side.  So the reason I am writing this review and giving it a 5 is solely based on the service technician Marcus.  He was one of the most professional individuals I've ever dealt with on a install or repair.  If this company has awards or promotions for individuals that go above and beyond Marcus deserves it.

Progressive was great getting me an install date quickly- the day after our conversation in fact. Tevin showed up on time and got straight to work removing my old dishwasher and hooking up the new one. He was courteous and neat taking care not to damage furniture or floors when he removed the old dishwasher, which was no small feat given the hardwood floors and narrow hallways. Once the install was complete and tested for leaks, Tevin took the time to show me general use and features of the dishwasher.   It was a great overall experience working with Progressive and more specifically Tevin. I highly recommend.

When calling to find out when my installation would be scheduled, the customer service rep hung up on my.  And I paid $162 for this kind of treatment.  Called back and spoke to the manager who scheduled the installation.

This place is a complete rip-off. We needed a water heater installed. They didn't go over pricing on the phone, they said the technician would have to come out and look at it and tell us a cost when he got here, but to come out was $200 and you get half of that amount off the total cost when they do the work. My husband went out to get the water heater himself and materials. When the guy showed up he's scratching his head telling us the cost of the installation alone was going to be $1700. He then calls the manager to see if they can lower it, so then they quote $1300... the lowest he could go. No thanks, that's reduculous. Even the person at Lowe's that overheard was saying no, thats crazy.

Marcus C. from Progressive Service Company installed a new dishwasher for us. He and his assistant arrived on time and were friendly and professional. They got the job done quickly and easily. Marcus was very knowledgeable of dishwashers and seemed so skilled at installation he could have done it blindfolded. After installation was complete, he gave me an overview of the operation of the new machine. The experience was top notch from start to finish. Recommended!

David needed to run a new electrical line to accommodate a new air handler.  The actual electrician work was straight forward, however, he needed to run the line from one side of the hallway to the other.  He cut 3 holes in the wall and ceiling and saved the pieces for me to make the repair work easier.  It was a tough process of running the line up and over the hall, then insert it into a very tight breaker box.  He did all of this very efficiently and cleaned up when completed.  He waited for the installers to complete their work to ensure that there were no problems.  All-in-all, I would highly recommend David. He is knowledgeable, professional and hard working. I was well pleased with his work.

Home Depot arranged Progressive Service Company to install my over the range microwave.  This was the second installer.  First company could not remove the old microwave.  Ivan did a fantastic job!  He removed my old appliance quickly and did the install professionally.  I was very pleased.   Any future repairs or installs will be handled by this company.  Thank you

A technician came out to the house to look at an issue we had with our unit. When I called I was told it would be an $89 charge up front to come to the house, which is normal. Come to find out that is was a capacitor that had gone bad, so he replaced it. The charge was $218 for the capacitor, come to find out that I can get this capacitor for $7.00 at Home Depot. So I called to question the charge and I was told that there are a lot of other factors for that price, like paying the employees salaries, warranty etc. So all together I paid $329.26 for a $7.00 capacitor. I understand that there charges for coming out and staying the 1 1/2 hours that he was there, but the price is extreme for that was done.

I'm having my new washer and dryer installed tomorrow but realize that the last guys that installed my machine vet put the wall box around the plumbing in place. Well Lowe's installers can't do that so I had to call in Progressive Service Company for same day installation so tomorrow Lowe's could install the washer. You had to see what it looked like before. A giant cut out of the drywall with some insulation just stuffed in it!!!  Progressive had to redo some of the plumbing which wasn't even done correctly, had to basically remove everything and redo it right. It costs a bit but it's fine 100% right now. Aaron (the plumber) told me that he personally stands behind his work. They 100% guarantee it! I'm never going with another plumbing company ever. Aaron was professional, polite, and even though he had to go to the store to pick up parts twice ( the idiots before him didn't use the right stuff) he was prompt, and courteous and even let me know when he was going to solder that the smoke alarm my set off. Bring that I have kids with Autism and sound sensitivity I was totally appreciative of the working. Great plumber, great service, amazing personal guarantee! ***** five stars. I would highly recommend Aaron.

Had a late night pipe burst.  Water gushing everywhere.  Called 5 plumbers who advertised 24 hour service.  All but one never returned my call.  Progressive had a live person answering; she immediately called plumber on emergency duty.  Within minutes had call back from plumber, Ethan, who said he'd be at my house in 15 minutes.  He was there in 10, shut off water, and returned 12 hours later to repair damaged pipe.  Amazing service.

These installers made me nervous and they were late. Our appointment time was between 12 - 2. They arrived at 2:35 in which made me late picking my children up from school. I had to wave them down as they took our appliance to a neighbors house. I happened to look out of my window and they were across the street at someone else door with our appliance. House numbers are CLEARLY on each of the mailboxes in front of our homes. They were semi rough with installation and one installer placed the huge microwave on an unstable stack of Styrofoam it was packed in right in front of our $2700 refrigerator. I was dealing with a carpet estimator at the same time and happened to look over and say to them please don't let the microwave fall into the refrigerator! I also accidently left a crisper plate in our old microwave that they hauled off. They did not look inside to check if any of the owners belongings were inside? This was an old plate that I thought I could replace but soon found out it has been discontinued and is not replaceable. We called Progressive and they said sorry the item has been disposed of. On another note, our appliances were not damaged. No dents or dings and we're thankful for that however this was a less than desirable experience to say the least.

This review is for plumbing.They over charged me. Cost $500 for doing minor job of changing parts in two of my toilet water tanks. The whole part is $20 in Amazon. He was also convincing us to change the whole toilet and we refused. Also all the parts/new toilet are from there own warehouse, hence you cannot compare prices or shop from Lowe's. He finished fixing the toilet so quickly that he was pretending to be still working on it when he heard me coming. It was funny. I really don't know who writes these amazing 5 Star reviews??

Horrible service! After 12 days of waiting for them to decide how best to repair my AC I decided to just call someone else. The new company had my AC up in 2 days! I have a litany of complaints with the highlights being incorrect diagnosis of the issue (4 days wasted calling an electrician), being told a part was ordered, and a manager who cancelled that part after deciding to go in a different direction. Even though 8 of the 12 days were clearly due to them, they continued to insist I should have not used my Warrenty company and paid everything out of pocket.

This was a very pleasant ending to a rather bothersome trek to get a new dishwasher installed.  Ivan is a very pleasant and knowledgeable young man who got to the business at hand while carrying on a nice conversation with me.  He did a very thorough job with the install including giving me a short tutorial on how to run the new gadget.  Great job all around!!!

This company is amazing. They did work another company was unwilling to do since they hadn't initially installed my water heater. CJ came out, assessed the situation and presented me with multiple solutions. He explained everything he was doing thoroughly and allowed me to feel very comfortable with the work he was going to provide. Overall, he took a terrible situation and gave me faith that there are still good service providers out there. I will finally sleep well tonight after 3 weeks of worrying about the safety and financial security of my family. Thank you Progressive and CJ!

Unless J.Christ shows up to do the work, nobody gets five stars, period.  That being said, Ken was top notch from first phone calls and texts to his mobile after 5-6 pm to thanking him today for the hot water heater installation on a Saturday.   He was a consumate professional in both his attitude and behavior.  He told me he was under 25yo and it shocked me; not b/c of looks but his professionalism.  I had guessed early 30s, like he had a decade or so under his belt already...  Ask for Ken N.  Dude said Call me for any plumbing related issues any time of the day. as he was leaving.

Ivan did an awesome job.  He was very professional and very quick.  When he finished installing the kitchen faucet,  he cleaned up very well.  He also showed me how to use it since it had motion sensors.  I was very impressed with his service and would definitely use him again.

So I can't speak to service, only price. I called Progressive to install a kitchen faucet (why can't plumbers give estimates over the phone .. like at least a range). I had a general idea of pricing from Lowe's and expected a much lower price. When the plumber showed up he quoted a MORE than double price. I promptly overacted and indicated I would pay the travel fee($59.00) but minus tax. I called two other plumbers and eventually paid less than half of Progressive's quote (including travel fee).

I, perhaps would consider contacting Progressive in an emergency case, but it pays to shop around. I will say Shane was kind and courteous.

Awful from start to finish! A barely qualified man came to our home as we needed a second opinion for a warranty claim on our air conditioning. He had no idea what the problem was...we had to tell him! When it was time to pay, he swiped my card and left. Less than 30 days later I start getting calls from a person in collections and emailed invoices, for a debit I didn't even know we had because after all, the tech had swiped my card at my home! I told her I want to know what he did with my card number and that is how we left it. Suddenly I'm getting called again and getting emailed another invoice. Guess I'll never know what that incompetent man did with my credit card but I went ahead and paid the invoice AGAIN. Horrible company that I would recommend to anyone.

Purchased a toilet from Home Depot and they assigned this company to do the install and removal of the old and while my experience with Home Depot this time was decent they guy that they sent was not very much in a mood to work.

I ended up being his helper, handing him paper towel etc. He had a hard time removing the old one that I was planning to donate to Habitat for Humanity and he ended up breaking it, oh well there goes the donation and of course he didn't care.
One star for breaking the old and one star for refusing to calk around the base of toilet. He said that when on the ground floor he is not required to do it. I said just lazy
I could have taken another star for leaving black markings on opposite wall done with his big shoes but this time I will just wipe it off.

Had I hired them maybe it would have been different. It is convenient to do everything in one stop but I won't ever buy this combo again. Installer won't make the effort to preserve reputation because it is backed by Home Depot so you are really in limbo.

Next time I will do it myself and save 134.38

Had to call Progressive again for my ongoing issue.  Because I had received such good service from Tim O., I decided to purchase the Home Care membership.  Kimberly, Brittany, and Morgan were all extremely helpful in getting me set up for the services I need.  Roland and the mitigation team were also top notch!

I'm not sure what happened. A tech named Christopher in Asheville came to give me an estimate for gas stove installation including running the internal piping. Very nice, informative. Told me I'd get the estimate later that day on the phone from Amanda. That was almost 3 weeks ago. I've called them both. Amanda said she'd follow up with Christopher and get right back to me. She did not. So obv I cannot hire them. They contract with Home Depot to do installs so I thought they'd be dependable. Not.

After three missed/rescheduled appointments with the final appointment resulting in the service person being 2.5 hours behind the appointed window, I was met with the most arrogant young man! He spent the better part of an hour explaining why my ENTIRE home had plumbing issues, then waiting on the phone for approval that had previously been provided, just not as HE saw the problem -- When questioned as to his assessment, the appointment became 'personal' with insults and threats being made -- Having had enough of his mouth, I told him to leave -- Obviously I wanted the problem remedied having waited through three days of appointment issues so I can't imagine a company continuing to employ such a young, obnoxious person -- Considering an hour+ was spent with NO work being performed and NO payment made  -- Had my husband been home, GUARANTEED this person would NOT have behaved as he did!  Would NEVER use OR recommend this service to ANYONE!

Called early morning to get rapid service for a failing sump pump, and looking to get someone out soon to prevent basement flooding.  The call was answered by a helpful person, my contact information and problem was taken down and I was assured I'd be called back to see about service.  I didn't get a call back after several hours, so called other plumbers.  After two days, still no call back. 24/7 was more like 0/0 for me.

The guys were very quick to respond. Very professional on the job site. Just know they will charge you top dollar to fix any problems.  If you have time, you may want to shop around.

$240 to cut a piece of drywall out to see the origin of the leak was a little high for 15 minutes of work but...

$190 to replace the wax seal of a leaky toilet is more than a bit steep.

Brittany helped me schedule the appointment for the next day at 1pm which was quicker than I expected. They then called me the next morning and said they were available at 10am which ended up working out perfectly. CJ was super friendly and knowledgeable and had my leaky valves fixed in about an hour and a half. It was a little more expensive than I was expecting but only by a little. The quality of work was superb, if you need plumbing work done use these them, I would highly recommend them.

Progressive Plumbing Services came out and did a detail service call to access our leaking hot water heater. We were fortunate to have one of their service techs,Noah M , come . He was very profesional and knowelegable about what we would need .A few days later he and his helper came and installed a new hot water heater. We were very satisfied with the job they did and how they cleaned up. Noah M is an asset to their company and I would have him come to my home for future services.

This company has done a terrible job with arrival times, communication, and customer service. Seeing as these issues have been going on for a month now, I've lost patience this week. They were out here on June 20th to do an evaluation of my water heater replacement. I agreed with the entire estimate for materials and cost, plus I was impressed with the technician, Anthony.

On the 28th, they arrived an hour and a half late so that meant they timed their arrival to arriving in the middle of a national conference call, which I was on disrupted and rude to the people I was on the call with. Turned out they'd been given the wrong water heater by Lowe's and didn't double check it. The whole installation turned into 7 hour job, extended because of the hour and half it took for them to go get a new water heater. Management questioned Anthony and the other guy staying out here, even suggesting they leave us without a water heater, since going to pick up a new one would take so long. The extended job also meant my boyfriend had to come be at home so I could leave for another event. Then I had to rush home so he could leave. The job just went on. Finally, as they were leaving around 8pm, they showed me new water stains on the ceiling of my bedroom, which had leaked through the attic, during the installation. We spoke about them coming back to touch it up, how they'd need an electrician and additional device which Lowe's left off the order, and we entertained the idea of having them install a ceiling fan if an electrician was going to have to come out.

The next day, I got a quote. Less than $1K for all - adding the floodstop sensor and having a ceiling fan installed. Thought that would be doable. Arranged for them to come back and repaint on the 30th. Offered paint which the previous homeowner had left in my home, although I could not verify it matched. We'd see how it dried. Within the next week, I called to schedule the completion of water heater electrical part installation.

They came out last Thursday the 13th and were late again, although not as late as before thankfully. The electrician was not provided enough information or materials to do the ceiling fan installation. Between the new plumber and electrician estimate for the job, the cost had now expanded to over $1100 and now I was told travel time was included in labor. This was a new cost estimate. Steve and Chad did a good job on the floodstop. Called the next day, Friday the 14th to ask about getting an estimate in writing since costs were ballooning, dispatch wasn't communicating, and every time I tried to get information people were confused, plus nothing was scheduled to fix the paint. I was then blamed for providing the wrong paint.

Today, the electrician arrived, but there was no call ahead, per my request. Turned out he'd need to cut a hole in the ceiling and claimed I'd have to pay to have it restored. I'm sorry, but if you put an extra hole, you should fix it. He and dispatch said Id have to pay for it. I contested that policy and they agreed to cover that. Relief. Then it turned out a switch wouldn't be able to connect with the fan blades after all. More news. Job wrapped up well -- good end result work, but I still had no idea when they'd come repaint my ceiling. Realized 30 minutes after the electrician left that he took the handbook and fan box with him. I called to get those materials back because I never gave permission for them to be removed. Finally received them back over 4 hours later, but apparently the empty box was destroyed. When I expressed upset about this because the hours delay also delayed me leaving town, as they had been aware I need to go see family, they hung up on me. Finally, got an answer on the ceiling restoration when I called back and when I was frustrated at them not verifying they were able to reach my boyfriend for the Monday installation, the dispatch receptionist's response was: you've been rude to everyone and we've left messages for the appropriate person. Nevermind her snappy tone in every convo.

Pardon me. They didn't provide info for me or their techs (they were very upset and distressed on the job because of this), underestimated costs, were not prepared with the right materials, and did not manage their time well. Any time I was confused and worried, they'd chastise me. How would I not be upset? Never use this company. Never. I love how efficient it is to have electrician, water heater, HVAC, and restoration in one company, but there is too much discord between the departments and apparently dispatches don't understand listening to their customers and providing full notes to their techs.

On top of that, they give their techs mobile tablets to accept pay and the techs hardly know how to use them or the tablets are hardly responsive to the need for the work. It's terribly inefficient.

I should have read the reviews on YELP about the overpricing from Progressive Plumbing.  When I called to set up the repair to unstop a toilet, I asked for a price range.  Was told that she did not have access to that information. I stated that I understood if there was a bigger problem-all I asked for was a range. Technician came out with a trainee-gave me a price of $200.00 and let the trainee unstop the toilet which took 10 minutes.  I asked the technician to check to make sure everything was clear but he refused-said it was fine.  He proceeded to tell me everything he has every pulled from a toilet. I called another company after they left and got an estimate for half the price.  Lesson learned-always get an estimate and not call Progressive again.  Did call to voice my displeasure for the overcharge, but was told that was the price-no apology or thanks for your business.

I recently used the plumbing services of Progressive Service Company.
It was arranged through Home Depot. I will absolutely be giving them a call in the future! From scheduling with their office through the entire repair process they were very professional and easy to work with .
When Cody came he explained the process and kept me informed throughout the repair. He and his partner were cordial, professional and easy to communicate with. Great job!

I hate to give such a low rating, because Jeremy was on time, friendly (even to my dogs).  The problem was that I found out after he left that there was a hole in my cabinet bottom.  I can literally see soil when I open my cabinet.  His review would have still been good if he would have told me about it.  But leaving without pointing it out and explaining how this happened isn't good customer service.  It may not have been his fault, my cabinets are old, but I don't know what happened.

Called to inquire about whether they provide tankless water heater support. The person who answered my call was not very clear on the phone ( sounded like she was discussing my question with someone else). Not unusual and  no big deal. When I attempted to clarify my request, she would not let me finish my sentences - then started to raise her voice in an argumentative manner. Really?? That person should not be answering The only reason for a yellow star is they did answer the phone.

Worst service experience ever.  I don't recommend their service to anyone. They disconnected my dishwasher for a countertop installation followed by a reconnection service. After the reconnection, they didn't test my dishwasher water supply. When I tried to start my dishwasher after the service for the first time, I noticed it was not working because of the water supply disconnect. I set up another appointment to get it fixed and had their promise. But they never ever showed up at my place to fix their mistake.

Progressive Service Company installed my dishwasher that I ordered from Lowe's.  While my experience with Lowe's was a total disaster, Progressive took it upon themselves to pick up the slack.  
They proactively reached out once they received my install order letting me know they were coming out.  I can't remember who I spoke with, but she was very professional and made me feel better.  
Lowe's had communicated two false delivery dates and had me order hoses that I did not need (just some of the issues).
Anyways, Marcus C. called me about the third day delivery/installation letting me know he was scheduled to come out (this was the actual and only date BTW).  He let me know that Lowe's did not have my order, but once I gave him my order number, he took the time to find it, pick it up (Lowe's had it in another store!), and finally installed the dishwasher.  Marcus C. was so friendly and professional throughout it all and I really appreciated him taking the extra steps.  He's a true professional!!!

I called Progressive due to plumbing backing up in the entire house.  They promptly answered and had a plumber out in just under an hour which was outstanding.  Everette C came out and quickly assessed the issue and was able to fix it promptly.  He did a wonderful job fully  explaining the work while teaching me several things I was unaware of about the meter.  He was not only a true professional but also a pleasure to work and chat with making a bit a a down situation all the better.  I would highly recommend Everette and Progressive plumbing!

The guy from Progressive plumbing showed up on time. The job was to clear the drain on the right side of the kitchen sink and reattach the pipe on the left side of the sink. The estimate was for over $600 and he would not guarantee that he could clear the drain. I told him that since he was here and I needed the job done to go ahead. He refused claiming that he did not think i would be satisfied with the job and left. I could not have been more dissatisfied. The quote he gave me was ridiculous and the fact he would not stand by his work was incredible to me.

We have used Progressive for plumbing and also electrical. The quality of the folks that came was excellent in all cases. We have used them more for plumbing than anything else and have had three different plumbers over the past eight years. Each was excellent but our most recent plumber Duane was outstanding in both his knowledge and his honesty in giving us options. I would highly recommend Progressive to anyone else needing the services they offer. I am fairly skilled in Building Trades myself although I can never seem to make a watertight fitting. I am very particular about quality of work. Progressive has never disappointed me.

We had someone come out to install a sink (a Lowe's package service). My Husband was home for the service but reported back to me that the technician had a bit of an attitude when he arrived. Specifically when he saw that his other colleague gave too low of a quote! He then took our sink out and said the new sink was too big by half an inch - we are not sure why this was not addressed during the quote. He then walked out to his truck, got in and called his manager who proceeded to tell him not to cut the counter top (its a formica counter) and that we had to cut it or they had to get someone who could.

Currently we have our old sink half ass reinstalled so its functional and the job is not complete. We are not happy at all with both the technician and the company/customer service.

Happy to provide an update when this is actually done properly but right now we would never use them again since they appear to not be able to plan things out properly and do the job right the first time.

I would highly recommend this company for any HVAC work that you need. 5 years ago they installed a brand new a/c unit for us and did a fantastic job. Just recently the capacitor went out and they came right over and replaced it and got our a/c back. The parts were warrantied for 10 years so all we had to pay for was labor and the initial call. They are very professional and stand by the product(s) they install.  Well worth the money.

The technician was extremely polite and professional. That being said I was in a terrible bind and needed a new water heater ASAP. The cost of replacing the heater was, in my opinion, extremely over priced and advantageous.  I asked for an itemized receipt and was told they dont itemize their parts and labor charges.  I was given a receipt at the conclusion of the install and no info on the heater at all. No manual, no warranty if I had not been in such a bind I would have gotten additional estimates saving at least $500 -$1k especially with heaters costing around $4-500.  The service was quick and efficient but I'm ticked that I was price gouged. If you can, shop around first.

The service was very fast. They actually called me to schedule the installation of my new HW heater before I had completed the purchase of it at a Home Depot. The repair guy was at my house within 90 mins to install it. Although fast, their service was a bit pricey but that's what we have to pay when we're in a bind. I'd definitely use them again in an emergency situation.

Made a nearly impossible dishwasher install quick, easy and pleasant. I bought a dishwasher on sale at Lowe's, and paid for the installation there. Progressive was the contractor that came to install. The first time they came out, they told me that I couldn't get my old (1984!) dishwasher out of the tight space between the countertop and tile floor, and I would have to either call someone to remove tile or remove the countertop. An unnamed service tech unofficially offered a little bit of advice, hinting (but of course never outright saying - that would be unprofessional) that I might be able to pry my old countertop up to make the installation possible. I rescheduled, my dad and I lifted the countertop up just an inch, and when Uros came back to install, everything was quick and easy. They probably saved me thousands. Thank you!

Total scam! Came out to fix a running toilet, quoted $250 for what he said was a five minute job. When I asked what the fee was for, how did it breakdown, he said it was to fix it. So you charge $250 for 5 minutes? What's that $3000 an hour? Man am I in the wrong business!! Should be ashamed of yourselves.

Justin was the best - had to replace a corroded water heater with no expansion tank (so one had to be put in) and no electrical disconnect (so that also had to be put in) in a space less than three feet high! Got it all put in and secured by himself, taking time to explain things to us along the way. Even put in a water shut-off just for the water heater so we wouldn't have to turn off the water for the house if there was a problem. Excellent work!

Our experience with Progressive Restoration was outstanding.  Everyone who came into our home was fantastic.  No one wants to have water damage, but if it happens, Progressive Restoration should be your first call.  They came in immediately to prevent mold and as soon as our insurance company came through with the funds they sealed up our ceiling with new drywall (it was a pretty big hole...as it was a pretty massive leak) and painted everything.  Honestly, you would never know it happened.  A big thank you to Roland, Nolan, Sam, John, and Mike for making this such a pleasant experience.  I highly recommend them!!!

The installers took over 8 hours to do a job that should have taken them about 3-4 hours max. They spent more time on smoke breaks than actually working. The work they finally completed was good, but I would not recommend them at all. They were also very expensive for the time spent. I give 2 stars for the workmanship and cleanliness only.

We needed to have our water softener replaced. We had used Progressive to install a tankless water heater last year and were very happy with the service they provided so we called them again for the softener.  Larry came out to inspect all of our plumbing and test our water. Then determined exactly what we would need.  He and Justin spent most of the day yesterday installing the softener and a new filter.  
I was very happy with their work and with the final cost.  They were very professional and didn't leave until all of my questions were answered!

One of a few Duke Energy Water Heater rebate installers.  Will not quote over the phone and charges $60 to come out to the property for an estimate that is only refundable if you decide to take their quote. Disappointed as this looked like a good company for the work but it makes it difficult to get multiple quotes for price comparison (which I'm guessing is the reason they do this.)

They were supposed to show up to disconnect our sink because we are having our countertops redone. They no-showed, despite me calling them *three* times. Most of their representatives were very unhelpful and just didn't seem to care. I had to do the disconnect myself. I am extremely unhappy with them, canceled my scheduled reconnect with them, and will never use them in the future. I suggest you do the same.

Thanks to their inept installers of a new dishwasher, the water inlet compression fitting popped off resulting in hot water flooding my kitchen, dining area, and HVAC system for 4 hours. This resulted in warpage of my hardwood floors and flooding of the HVAC ducts under the house. Their HVAC people responded in 3 days and replaced the ducts and HVAC distributor, but not without me having to get nasty. As for the rest of the damage, it was like pulling teeth to get them to respond and do something. A month and a half later we've finally settled, though my Summer is now ruined as I must go through the hassle of getting my hardwoods replaced and being evicted from our house for a week. Ended up canceling our trip to Florida and Virginia. Had they responded more responsibly I wouldn't be so negative, but no, they made me jump through hoops and be vigilant in calling them to get something done. They actually sent me a $1700 bill for the HVAC repairs! If you buy an appliance from Lowe's, beware of Progressive Services as they are Lowe's approved professional installers.

Progressive Service Company installed the dishwasher that I bought from Lowe's Home Improvement. After some mixup about when it would be installed (a problem with Lowe's, not Progressive) everything worked out great. Uros, the Progessive technician, showed up exactly in the window I was promised and he did a great job. He was in and out in a timely manner and got my old dishwasher out and the new one in and working great, even though the new one was a little big for the space (who knew that all dishwashers weren't the same size?). He was polite, courteous, and very professional, so I would definitely recommend Uros and Progressive if you need to have an appliance installed.

Scheduled to be there between 1-2, arrived at 5:30.   Paid close to $900 to replace to 2 valves (1 under the sink)...  Everything took less than an hour.  Won't be using them again. WAY overpriced.  The tech was nice, but not nice enough for the $900 bill for less than an hour.

I can't say enough good things about our experience with Progressive. Our A.C. went out during the hottest week of the summer. The company was quick to respond and our project manager Joe was extremely helpful. He took the time to explain our options and stayed until 9 PM trying to get enough coolant to hold us over until the new system could be installed (at no charge). The crew came a day earlier than promised and they finished quickly, leaving no mess behind. We've dealt with many contractors the last few months as we've updated our aging home and Progressive's customer service was far superior to any other company.
